The scallops were definitely over cooked and my food a little cold cause I think they were waiting for my mom’s plate to come out. However, the flavor was lovely and my mom loved the stuffed cod. Service was friendly and nice. The atmosphere was more hip than anticipated which I liked but not a quiet place if that’s what you’re looking for. My mom would go again, maybe if my food was hot, I would too. Meh 🫤
Make sure you ask for rice! Staff didn't tell me when ordering I had to tell them I wanted rice with my order!!! If you don't, then you are lacking out!

Look, I like this place a lot. The food's good and the service is always high quality. But at this point I'm just filling out as many reviews as I can cuz I want to be in the top 1% of reviewers.
Order the dynamite shrimp bowl to go and it is fantastic. I’ve had this menu item a few times as well as I’ve been to this location on a couple of occasions and I’ve never been disappointed. I like the new kiosks for ordering it makes getting in and out of there very convenient. CFG is one place that hasn’t changed despite getting huge and that’s a good thing.
If you’ve never been to California Fish Grill, i would categorize it as a fast casual spot. They have variety of grilled fish plate options with great prices.

Saw great review. Finally have a chance to try. Love it! Great Mexican restaurant. Good food, healthy and affordable. Good place to come with family and friends. We try combo plates and two blacken fish tacos. Rice is white with lime and butter flavor. Food is lightly seasons. We want to keep going back.
Came here the other night to buy some comfort food for the family after a loved one in the community passed away. I was so worried I wouldn't be able to order anything because I was really pushing it by showing up a few minutes before closing. Thankfully, Mario made sure to take care of me. I'm so very grateful, and this is one of many reasons why I'll keep coming back. Thank Mario and thank you team for helping me bring home some food to comfort my family.

Cocktails were excellent. Highly recommend the carajillo and my gf really enjoyed the Paloma.
Food was overall very good. Standouts were the crab fritters, octopus, key lime pie, and crème brûlée.

Since it has Beer in the name, be prepare for drinking crowds and much louder background.
However, the food is good, specially the grilled Spanish octopus. It was done just right, it will surprise you with its great favor, plus the great potato conditions.
Don't forget the blue crab fritters with habanerd aioli as the appetizer, crispy shell loaded with good favor. Aioli is a bit too salty for me otherwise would be good a accompany.

The best plate of food I've had in a very long time. First time here but definitely won't be the last. I got the shrimp and swai plate with cauliflower rice and zucchini and everything was perfectly cooked and had a nice sear. This is top tier food, thank you to everyone here!

Went for a quick lunch and boy, it was quick. The place is filled with people but my order was served quickly. I saw three groups of uniformed law enforcement officers, people from all walks of life. But wait, here's more: the broiled fish I ordered, blackened, was superior in taste, on top of rice flavored with butter, boiled frijoles, and lined with sliced Avocado. It was just so satisfying for a hungry rice-loving Asian like me. I shall return!
Great food and friendly service. I got the taco and enchilada plate combo. Fish taco was great- the fish was cooked to perfection. For my enchilada, I got chicken with green sauce and I really enjoyed it. Would come back again for a decent and delicious meal!

Went here for an awesome seafood dinner. My husband loves oysters so this was a must for him. The Crab Stuffed Cod, the Creme Brulee and the Dirty Martini were all very good. Dior took care of us and we will definitely go back. It's in the Art District and they have made a very small space into a fabulous date night place.

I had little to no opinions on this establishment. My parents live in Breezy so you get what you get. But WHAT THE #%# I had the pork loin sandwich. OMG. On my knees bowing. Best gosh darn pork loin sandwich that I now have to travel for. Of course the staff was fantastic, and the place is very clean. It’s a beach theme on the beach. Amazing beautiful views. My parents literally go there all the time and say all the food is delicious.

I am out of town with my ex- spouse so this was our first experience and was very excited about eating at fast-food eatery called California Fish Grill. That didn't matter to the Manager. Everything was going fine we were greeted we ordered which totaled almost 30 bucks, so payment was needed before food was cooked however when it came down to payment. our cash payment was refused because 50 dollar bill was higher than a 20 dollar bill which is the highest bill they accept. I understand if items on the menu were less then ten dollars but everything was 14 and up. I don't recommend this retarded establishment at all.
Taco Tuesday and the place is a mad house. Ordered our food at 5:15. It’s now 610 and we still have not received our food. Instead of the manager being up here and handling it like a boss she has shut down and escaped to the back. Definitely time to find a new manager and staff. The entire kitchen is flooded with employees, and not one person knows what they’re doing. I’m very embarrassed for the owner of this place. Will not be coming here again.

Very disappointed in meal last night. First visit to this chain and prob last. Wife ordered the Alaskan Salmon with olive oil. Thin piece overcooked and dry. Thick piece raw. Offered to make another piece and was served Atlantic Salmon Cajun style. Server forgot about it so by the time I went up to get it was cold. The Hawaiian Shrimp platter was incredibly spicy. Coconut Shrimp overcooked. Shrimp in the shell rubbery. The shrimp on the skewer was good. Best part of meal the Cilantro Lime Slaw.
I always go to that place because they have good food. I went on December 3rd and I ordered asparagus, and I was so disappointed when I saw them. They gave me the thinnest strings and the worst part there were overcooked. To make it worse they didn't have beans. I don't know what happened to them this time because they always have good food and good service.
I got the mahi fish bowl, and it was delicious! The fish was cooked hot and fresh, and the other ingredients were fresh and delicious.
Super yummy food. I got a rose and mint ice blended drink which was perfect with the food. My sister's got the mango lasse and loved them. We ordered dal makhani, paneer Tikka masala, chicken Malai Tikka and biryani veg rice. For dessert we ordered dakke wali kulfi and cassata ice cream. The tamarine sauce on the chicken was really good. It was all very good and they made it mild for use. We will be back for sure.

This places feels like home away from home. Authentic and delicious food !!! Every dish was delicious, goat masala literally melted inside my mouth. Same for Lamb chops and if you have tasted lassi in punjab this is the place you want to taste it again.
The food it's delicious, and the service was very good, for sure we will be back again.
I paid $2 more for corn and the bowl was filled 1/3rd of the way. I asked Ruben the manager if I can have some more corn and he refused. I can buy an entire can of corn from the grocery store for $0.50 Managers like this is what ruins businesses. California Fish & Grill should find another manager for this location.

I’ve never had clam chowder with andouille sausage, but I absolutely enjoyed it and would order again. The octopus was really flavorful. Perfectly cooked too! The sauce in the ramekin was crazy spicy though, wasn’t ready for that. The fish and chips was just okay in my opinion. I wouldn’t order them again. (Btw, if you ever go to Epcot Disney World, Great Britain section, you gotta get the fish and chips there, best I’ve had in the US).

The bottom booth ratio to your legs isn’t quite right, like it needs to go further out towards your knees more to be more comfy. So if you’re tall or have long legs, ask for a regular table instead.

A great place to eat on the marina dock. Coconut shrimp appitizer is a good start. Large shell fish and a sweet dipping sauce. I tried the grouper sandwich for my main meal, it was done perfectly! Dont forget to try the carrot cake, its amazing.

Must get the clam chowda. It's so meaty and creamy. Mussels with the crusty and charred bread was delicious. I chose this spot because it seemed a walkable distance to Mission Ballroom show. 20 min was great for digesting.
Totally unacceptable, what they are selling us is supposed to buy shrimp and this is an imitation of crab and with purple chemical and it tastes disgusting. I bought chicken tender and it’s disgusting. I also can't find the chicken protein. I don't know what a dirty thing it is...

I am a regular online customer there, but today I was disappointed with one of the team members at the California Fish Grill, Puente Hills. I am very friendly and was brought up to be polite, kind, and courteous with others. Today was very busy at the restaurant so I patiently waited for my order. While waiting, I made eye-contact with one of the cooks in the kitchen (the short, younger male cook) then I smiled very politely and respectfully, I am also a male, so for me no big deal. He smiled but what disturbed me was that then he went with other cooks in his area to mock me and I know exactly what he was saying, that a gay coquet man smiled, winked, flirted at him (to make himself feel more important to his collogues). I felt disrespected because I was only being "human" offering a kind smile to a stranger, but to be later penalized by bullying and mockery, and from a worker of an establishment where I am paying money!
I hope management reads this to train their staff that their customers "PAY" not only for great food, but to receive good service with a smile!

If you love fish, Fish Grill stands alone very well .food selection and the test imaculous, great dine in high tables, overall service great. I would recommend following up with each order on the table, just to be sure everything is sound and good,no issues presence. You can always ask for more business while they are eating by asking i" is there anything I can be assist with or do you like try our new items incase if forget to mention. Just a thought. We’ve had Indian cuisine across the US and Canada, from Washington to Boston, but this place was the most authentic Indian cuisine by far. The dishes were made with original recipes and pure ghee, giving them a flavor that’s hard to find even in India (and the goat was actually goat). The prices were very reasonable too. The staff, especially our server Bharat, were friendly and attentive. The owners were humble and gracious, and they chatted with us for a while. We felt right at home in the cozy and quiet atmosphere.

This restaurant has great Mexican food. They do all the classics really well and have great fish dishes. The tacos are fantastic. Their carne asada was really impressive and I feel that's a dish that can be hit or miss. Recommended it to my parents and they also loved it.

Staff is helpful and nice. the food is really good and don't miss the tea post dinner.
The place is fully accessible and restrooms are well maintained.
The only thing I would recommend here is the view and atmosphere. The service was subpar and the food was bland. The wings tasted like taking a bite out of lard. The fries tasted like they had been frozen and reheated in a microwave. The burger was the worst part of it all as it was unseasoned and burnt. Wish the food was better as it would have made paying so much actually worth it.
We enjoyed Island Gypsy. Had tried to go during the season and it was impossible. It is a very popular place. The location is very nice, with nice views of the small marina. The food is very good and so is the service. We ordered a hamburger and a lobster roll. My husband was satisfied with the hamburger and french fries. I liked the roll with a generous portion of tasty lobster. Nice place , but not the best on the island. We enjoyed it for a light lunch but not planning to return. There are a lot of nice places with nice views and good on the island.
I got the ahi poke bowl which was good but I felt it was way too expensive for the amount. It was almost $20 for a pretty small portion. I've had bigger poke bowls for much cheaper.
Also there's nobody really in the front to take your order, you have to place it on the computer and it still asks if you want to leave a tip LOL FOR WHAT??!! I DID EVERYTHING MYSELF🤣

Heard from each local person I asked and this is the ONE that everyone mentioned, and for Good Reason! Exceptional attention from our server and the Highest quality of food. Truly enjoy the outdoor experience and conversations, while always having the water glass full. Island Gypsy is a staple out our travel to the island! PS - even if you don’t eat carrot cake- you must have this one once- and then you can decide.
This is for the Palmdale ,CA location. Fry's tasted and looked like they were cooked in old oil or they were old. Usually don't order french fry's . Unfortunately I had someone pick up my order otherwise I would of not accepted it.fresh fry's should be light in color .These fry's tasted horrible.
The lobster ravioli was amazing!!! Two people at our table had it and both loved it. The lasagna had a savory taste. The pasta from the wheel was very good, but I have had better. Still, very good. We all got a salad included in our meal, the Caesar salad and soup cost extra. All were okay. I would come back!!

Overall pretty good and would go back. Quick to be seated; no wait on Thursday night at 6:45pm. Friendly staff. Fast food service. Peel your own shrimp basket was seasoned and cooked well. Blackened Grouper was over cooked and dry. Fried Mahi Mahi Sandwich was tasty and cooked well. Strong pour on the alcoholic beverage. Key Lime Pie slice was the best we had all week while on vaca!! Carrot cake slice was like 20% of a cake, a ridiculous portion size, but tasty. We requested to be seated by the railing so we could view the wildlife and boats better. Gift shop had local, useful and usual souvenirs.

Excellent seafood despite being in landlocked Colorado. Having lived on the coast for most of my life the quality of seafood was better than a lot of places you can find on the gulf or east coast. Everything we had from the shrimp appetizer to the octopus and fish and chips was stellar. The server was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was modern and hip which fits in with the rino area. The food wasn't cheap but I think the quality was worth it and I didn't leave feeling hungry after an entree and appetizer. My one complaint would be that the music was very loud for a higher end sit down restaurant. Overall though I would highly recommend stopping by. I plan on eating here again for special occasion dinners
We have been patronizing this restaurant since it opened. The menu has changed over time and the selection of grilled fish and seafood has become more limited. Would recommend their grilled fish plates like salmon or seabass but the quality is hit or miss. The fish is cooked perfectly sometimes while other times it's overcooked. The portions have also gotten a little bit smaller. Clam Chowder is recommended. Good option for a healthy meal.
We really enjoyed the food here! The coconut shrimp was one of the best I've ever had. The Lobster "N"euben Sandwich was unbelievably phenomenal! It made it to my top fave sandwiches! The Smokin Cubano Sammy was also very good. No food was wasted here. The frozen drinks / coladas were dangerous! Dangerous, because it is so good and so easy to slurp that you forget it has alcohol. Their pricing is definitely on the upper scale, but with our food experience, it was well worth it! Will definitely be part of our stop when going back for a visit.
Took my family there for an amazing experience to celebrate my 50th birthday and I have to say everything was amazing, service was exceptional every single dish that came out was delicious and we had a party of six I will return with my family and will bring others thank you for giving me a wonderful experience on my 50th birthday thank you and God bless again
Great service and its all about the views! However, the food quality is lacking and not up to par. I would come for drinks and to chill out on the deck.
Update: Went back today. Waited over five minutes for someone to even acknowledge my existance. Finally after a worker came to the front twice while chatting on her phone, the third time she held up two fingers and said "two minutes". That turned out to be a lie. To be clear, I was the only customer so they were not swamped. I waited a few more minutes then left.

Wonderful Service Today! I came in at around 7:30pm on a Friday. To the young man short black curly hair, fit, I beleive he was asian I didn't get his name but i would like to say he did a great job today he was very friendly and went above and beyond with helping customers out. I had a bit of an issue with my order and he made it a priority to make sure i was helped immediately! The environment was very comfortable and clean, the cashier was very friendly, and the tacos were fantastic! 10/10 to this restaurant for such great service thankyou!
This was one of our favorite places we ate at during our stay in Naples. The food was some of the best around. Our server was very kind and its a great atmosphere to eat outside on the dock.
It was a really nice day and we just finished our airboat ride. They had good drinks and my wife really enjoyed her macadamia nut mahi mahi. The onion rings tasted good but they were a bit too greasy for me. My fried fish sandwich was greasy too. The carrot cake was good. Not the best. Gave it 4 stars because my wife’s food was good, the drinks and carrot cake were good and the atmosphere was nice.

This is a fantastic place to grab a bite to eat. This place has the best onion rings and carrot cake that I have ever had. Scenery is nice as well. Server was friendly and attentive. Wife had the lobster roll and I had the grouper sandwich. Both excellent! We will be back for sure.
We’ve been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Service is great and food is amazing. Tonight we went with the gnocchi with meat sauce and saved room for a piece of caramel tiramisu (of course!).

The food is my favorite and I love their clam chowders. I’ve been going here over ten years and it has always been great to my standards! Definitely highly recommend! Great place for family or friends, Great spot for a lunch date, and for coworkers to take a break. It’s a bit busy most of the time but the food does come out quickly and hot! Must try!

Good Friday and it was good! Ordered a Tilapia plate which left me very satisfied!! Exquisite taste, very fresh and well cooked. Here you eat well and light. Great place , totally recommended.
Best Italian food! We were visiting Bradenton and a local told us we must go to Tiramisu. So glad we did. My husband had the cheese wheel pasta. It was amazing. I had veal and it was delicious with the Unshackled Cabernet Sauvignon. I usually don’t care much for tiramisu but I had to try it and so glad I did. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Had a fabulous birthday dinner at Tiramisu! Thank you, thank you! We recently moved to Florida and hadn’t found a real Italian restaurant until tonight. They graciously gave me a piece of tiramisu cake for my birthday. We we’re so stuffed we just couldn’t eat it. We tasted it and of course it was delicious. We will definitely be back! 😄
Seems to have been recently remodeled. Service was good, time waiting for the food was good, current menu pictures are very accurate to what I got, price was fine for portion size. Hidden behind Dunkin in the corner of a strip mall sits this hidden gem. If not for horrible 5 o'clock traffic I probably would have passed it off as yet another Itilian strip mall restaurant, and passed right by. That would have been my mistake! After googling the restaurant I found that it had 4.7 stars with over 350 reviews (well deserved and probably low). I decided to eat. I was early and decided to wait 15 minutes for it to open at 5pm. I recommend reservations, because 30 min after opening on a Wednesday afternoon it was almost packed. Not only was the food exceptional, so was the service, and it was all homemade down to the pasta. I am in town on business and my only regrets are, that I didn't have room for desert, and that they are not located in my home town. I will definitely be back before I leave. I do not take left overs as they do not keep well in the hotel fridge, but for the first time I got my left overs to go. Simply put, they were too good to leave behind.

This is a hidden gem! We ordered the pasta dish that was cooked in the cheese wheel table side. It was delicious and the noodles were perfectly al dente. The soup and house salad was great! Our table also had chicken parm, gnocchi, and ravioli (all great but the cheese wheel pasta was the best)! The caramel tiramisu was amazing. We ordered a bottle of wine and our server Danny did a great job of keeping our wine glasses full. He was perfectly attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend this restaurant and be sure to make reservations!
Update: My husband ordered California Fish Grill on March 3rd 2023. He knows I am fond of it and our lil one. I was disappointed the bredding on the fish was too much, is like we didn't get much and very oily. I can smell the oil. I do not know if you all changed chefs, but their needs to be a level of consistency. I couldn't even eat all. Customers are already paying alot, at least can we get decent stuff for our money, everything is going up. This was the worst. I feel we will give you all a break. See pic attached. CFG, I know you all can do better than this.

The food here is just around average, but the restaurant does make up for its friendly staff, service and mostly importantly the views of NYC. I toke some pictures and we were very fortunate to have had great weather for the night.
I love their miso glazed salmon over arugula salad with hearts of palm!! It’s bomb! BUT it may be farm raised which is not good. I asked abs they said depending on the day it can be wild or farm raised.

The food was good and the lady taking the order was nice. I didn't like the way the lady who brought the food was a little rude and argumentative regarding the tartar sauce. She only offered two small cups of sauce with all the food we ordered. So I'll have to take back two stars for that. Sorry.
Gets slow very quickly as they are unable to handle service for large crowds during lunch in an efficient manner. The food is not super fresh and can be better but for the price they are decent. The service and people are always busy and not service friendly or customer friendly as they seem to be focussed on a task but don’t realize that all their tasks are for the customers and to treat the customers accordingly. Not a place for me to visit again unless I am with a group who want to go there.
1st time coming here and wow it's amazing! I had the Salmon specialty with the dynamite fries and it was very good! I have never had dynamite fies before and this was delicious! Pretty good service. To compare it to other dining facilities I would say the food ordering process is similar to a Baja Fresh restaurant but better. Cant wait to go back and try the other meals on the menu.
Great place for outstanding fish 'n chips! Perfectly done in a light beer batter with French fries on the side. Lots of fresh fish entrees and everything is so delicious! Small place with laid back atmosphere, but a varied menu--not only fish--with lots of choices. The staff is on point and very nice. You won't be disappointed!!
Fresh and delicious, casual and clean. Cajun salmon and cauliflower mash were a perfect lunch combination with an order of coconut shrimp to start it off. Easygoing vibe and sunny wait staff. Great place to grab a quick bite or catch up with an old friend.
One of the best fish tacos I've had, although granted I haven't had a whole lot. Nice little hut on the beach, nothing better than fish tacos one the beach. Be cool if they had beer.
