Re: Wrong place, wrong time.

Stopped to purchase the fried sea scallop dinner as a special meal for myself. Not really paying attention to the couple that was also there. I asked my wife to finish the shopping while I waited my turn at the seafood dept.
Standing there for about three minutes with the other couple who was awaiting service. I waited a bit more as I thought the employee may have been in one of the seafood coolers performing some work. The other couple was still standing there trying to amuse their children as they were getting antsy. Another several minutes went by and I approached the counter and leaned over and asked in a slightly raised voice, is anyone one here! Hearing no response. I asked the couple there if they were being helped. The gentleman said no. And that he nor his wife had not seen anyone there either. I walked over to the other end of the counter and spoke in a higher tone once more. Is anyone here! Still no response.

A few moments later a young man emerged from the doors of the meat dept. I asked him if he knew where the seafood dept. employee was. He said sorry sir, I do not. I asked him if he could make me the fried sea scallop dinner for me. He said, I am sorry sir. I am not allowed to work in that dept. The couple who was still there heard my discussion with the young man and they then walked away. As I did also. This has happened to me twice before at this same store.

A word to the management team at Market 32 in Marlboro. If your employees at the backwall departments are not available due to any type of break or personal matter. Then please have someone cover the department till they return. If this cannot be done. Then have the courtesy to place some type of notice informing the customers of when the employee will return. Instead of having customers waiting there wasting their time as I did also.

May I also state that my wife and I did not finish our shopping list due to the situation at the Seafood Dept.

Your self checkout machines are hot garbage. Need to be completely redevelop the software and the UI.

Lines always at self and at cashier positions and inadequate expediting to get us in and out in timely matter. Clearly a check out problem they are neglecting customers letting us linger.
After shopping a few times for simple groceries I've realized the prices and Poor self check out practice is not worth the energy or time.
Would rather go to Walmart or Market Basket .

Not streamlined for customer checkout . Consider looking at competitor's and how electronics , lighting and very small inadequate small grocery check out area...

I was so disappointed when my son came home with a large sub last night and it was packed in a large plastic container! Company’s should be trying to cut back on this absolute waist that’s killing our environment not finding ways to add to it!! How about putting one out for display and wrapping the rest in parchment paper?

Update: still corporate friendly only scum! Stop forcing these tiny thin little green stamp bags that don't hold anything, all because your cashiers can't make a good judgment on what to put in them. Once again your cashier told me they are forced to use them and yet they can't even put proper items in them. Time to make this supermarket go viral in media since it does not care about the customer, I have had enough and will also let everyone in your store at that time knows as well! Will be making a point to never step in one again and making sure my network of peers never do again either. Despicable companies!!!!! This is my bread, thanks corporate slum! Will be going to a different grocery chain from here on out. Stop using mistakes as a deliberate tactic to drain pockets!

Big store but costly as well. You can find the same items at lower prices elsewhere.
The fresh vegetables section is not very well maintained, sometimes I have seen rotten vegetables.
Also, one time I found black fungus on corn.
The price labels are also not correct, I picked up some tomatoes from the same place and when I went to the billing counter, it turned out that there were mixed varieties.Also, do check the prices while you are at the billing counter, sometimes I have found that I was billed more than the price displayed on the selves.

My experience at Sultan Supermarket is excellent there are tons of halal and Arabic products at the store and the selection is very good. They have a wide variety of coffee and Turkish items. The store is clean and the prices are fair the cashier was friendly and I love the vibe here.

Nice chocolates. Turkish with pistachio, my favorite! Candy and nuts by the pound. Ok selection of teas. Nice looking bakery and meats.

I’ve been coming to this Lucky for almost 25 years. After it was Albertsons it’s gone way down hill. Sad. Wish they can turn it around. Needs an update and better produce. So much potential.

The store is clean and organized. The workers are friendly and nice. I like the 5 packages of meats for $5 each. Such a lovely deal!

Was terribly disappointed & upset yesterday when I went to store to pickup my pre-ordered complete Turkey Thanksgiving meal. I had gone into store to place the order a week & 1/2 ago to be picked up on the 22nd. When I got there only to find the Turkey was cooked but frozen solid. No one mentioned that when I had ordered. Well Hello it takes at least 3 days to thaw and today is Thanksgiving. Had I known or was told it was frozen I would have picked it up days before.
Needless to say I did not accept it and had to come up with an alternative very last minute! Thank God for Costco!

Terrible service and poor management here. The manager Rashika has a short temper and too much of an ego. She is so disrespectful. I asked help for where an item was and instead she said to go figure it out for yourself and that she was not paid enough to help customers. I also saw her getting into an argument with another customer. If a staff is having problems or a bad day they should leave it out of professional environments. Also the coworker Evan was very rude, he was not helpful either. He made snide remarks when I just needed assistance in finding an item. I have a business myself with over 50k clients and I always prioritize customer satisfaction. I will definitely be telling my clients and friends to never enter this store. The supervisors really need to assess who they are hiring at this location. They definitely need a new staff. Grocery stores should have nice and friendly staff in order to have a welcoming community. Sad to see that a couple workers are really putting a bad reputation to this franchise. Boycotting all Luckys!!!

Produce section products are not fresh. Cashiers act like they do not wanr to be there. Sale price labels are often missing. I only shop there because I live down the block.

10/4 1:45-2:05PM check your security or monitor camera that you know I am telling the truth! I usually don’t like to write a review, but this time really hope to bring to management’s attention: seriously professionalism, hygiene and health/safty issue! I was there at meat department selected some beef, and wanted to be grounded. I asked a lady and she said yes they do that, so went to the meat counter waiting the butcher. I saw the man in white coat with animal blood all over in front him and walking around, then stopped at ready to eat food counter and leaned to it started to talk to other, and 100%sure he saw me standing I front of his counter waiting but no response. Then there is another guy in black shirt nicely went to him to ask him to helping me . Still took him 3-4 minutes to come over, then said to me “oh so sorry, if you come 10 minutes earlier, I will do it for you now i can’t because I am off work”!! And ask me come another day??!! Really? When I need go home and cook you asked me come another day? REALLY??? The store is open is around 2 PM, there is no sign says “meat counter” is closed! And YOU saw me 10 minutes earlier I was standing there waiting, why you didn’t come to help?! Why? Because I am an Asian lady who you think doesn’t matter ? Or because you are dereliction of duty？At same time if you are off work??? WHY are you in that animal bloody sloppy white coat and walking around in the store and contaminating other packed ready to eat foods? Seriously this store need more job training, professionalism and hygiene and health safety training. I do appreciate that two ladies who answered my questions and the guy in black shirt attended to me and helped me to call for help! I have been shopping at Lucky’s instead of Costco for sometimes, now I will not shop at your meat department !

They only place that you can find all your ingredients .best price for those who has big family and want to shop a huge amount of stuff event I buy a whole bunch of things the price is lower.

The vegetables on display are looking fresh, cant resist to go home without buying..It looks fresh and understandably the aircondition which is really cold for me the whole area must have helped the freshness.

I just got shortchanged here by 7 dollars, but that was mostly my fault for not checking. It's not a ton, but I'm annoyed because the cashier said almost nothing to me. I didn't hear them say this is your amount of change, and nothing as I was leaving.

My priority is the flavor in the food a restaurant serves. By that measure, this is clearly the best Argentine restaurant in Queens. Period.
(Advice to novices: do NOT forget to drizzle chimichurri on your beef. It makes all the difference in the world.)

Firstly, I would like to draw your attention to the second floor of this building. There are awnings draped around what is now cement. It's incredibly mysterious which adds to the allure of this building.

The people in the grocery store are super friendly, and they have a great selection of food and a fresh deli. Their juice bar is good, although you cannot stray from the menu (for instance, you can't just get orange juice, you have to get a sunshine smoothie or something).

The prices are higher than neighboring stores especially in produce, but the produce will last a bit longer. They are always playing good music.

Gross woman at checkout with spiked hair hates the world and she treats everyone with hate. Avoid this store if you can. No reason to spend your money with nasty people.

Stopped in here a few times while visiting family in Bushwick. Great grocery store. It's clean, well stocked, and being from Virginia I found all kinds of cool products I can't find back home. It took a little getting used to the narrow isles, but that's to be expected. I quickly discovered that in New York City all usable space is at a premium. Staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks for making our week long visit in New York City even more pleasant. We'll be back sometime ❤.

Very impressed with the atmosphere of this cozy mom and pop like establishment A vibrant and beautiful collection of tasty treats could be seen as soon as you walk in, along with the service that felt more like family than stores. I appreciate the love and care that you showed my family and me. We will definitely be back. Continue this level of love. We can't wait to explore the cultures that have come together to share A taste of different walks of life . A bit Pricey though. It is what it is though.

Staff doesn't seem to like to smile. The vibe feels very uneasy. The Bathrooms have Feces all over the floors and trash all over the bathroom and no paper towels. It smelled so bad!

A quality Turkish market. You can easily find everything you are looking for. Careful attention has been paid to the layout and cleanliness of the shelves. It could be nicer if the staff were a little more involved.

Great findings at good prices, with a lot of buy and get free stuff

This is referencing only the prepared food options available. Less expensive than surrounding locations. I had a sub from the deli on a regular hero roll, less than a footlong. It was decent for $13.00, less than subway, far less than Jersey Mike's. I gave it a three star because the preparers and cashiers were friendly. I also had fries from the Brooklyn Beef and Cheese, also at City Acres, and they were crispy and savory! I will go back there the next time I crave fries!

We stopped here to pickup some food and dairy products while in Paterson. This is a nice place to shop for Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food. The halal meat we picked up was delicious. The staff we dealt with were all very friendly and polite.

I liked how well organized and clean the store was. They also have their own parking lot near the back of the store. The only thing I wish they have is nut free sweets in their bakery section. Next time in Paterson, I will make sure to stop here for more food shopping.

From the outside it looks like a tiny corner store, but once inside there's a full grocery store on two floors. A glass enclosed industrial looking modern elevator takes you between the 2 floors. They offer good selection of quality produce. Grabbing a few grocery items before getting on the ferry was really convenient.

In house made goods are neat, fresh produce all wonderful, one of the best selections of international foods in a big grocery.

The building has been there since before I was born and it shows its age in some ways. There was an 'off' smell around the butchery area when were last there and this may have been this one instance. The dozens of times ive been in before, nothing like that.

There was a blonde manager she wasn't too nice toward me the cashier was great and in the guy in the back of the deli took care of me I was happy overall

This restaurant has the perfect Argentinian atmosphere and has great food! Not to mention the wide variety of Argentinian products and candies they have up front at the desk. This place has very good service and friendly employees I definitely will come back here!

Ordered takeout steak for two. They gave us pork. As Muslims we cannot eat pork nor eat meat that has touched pork, so we called them and they told us they would not recieve the order back even tho we merely opened it, haven't even touched it ! 70 dollars down the drain. Awful place never again.

Such a cool little place in town with an awesome slogan, "keep it in the hood." Favorite local grocery store with a great selection of hot sauces. As well as everything being very affordable.

Nice, compact combination supermarket and food hall. Has a linear flow from the entry to checkout (and post-checkout indoor seating area if you want to enjoy your purchases immediately). Four specialty stations offering deli, pizza, Asian, sushi and more. Ample selection of beverages, packaged fruit, snacks, etc. Well located in the Financial District.

Poor lighting, and I do not agree with the policy that you can't put a puppy in a cart, but you can hold a pet. I needed to grab bread and milk, so the mindset that one cannot put a dog in the cart because people put food there, yet you can hold the animal to reach in a cooler full of produce or anything else confuses me. I do agree with the right they have to have any policies they want.

Surprisingly cool market! Lots of options from fresh to prepackaged and a selection of refrigerated stuff as well. Prices were reasonable and quality was pretty good.

All in all, a great stop especially if you have several people in your party that all want something different.

Bought fresh chops thinking it was goat. Instead it turned out to be lamb. The meat is fresh and weighted with excessive fat. Overall pleased but next time will call in advance and have the chops fat removed then weight them.

I know this seems weird, but I'm on a run of reviewing grocery stores. People have to shop at home more than they eat out these days, So it only seems appropriate that I would review some grocery store experiences as well.

As I move from place to place, I often try to integrate myself with the people that live there. That means shopping at the local markets and getting locally sourced food. Unfortunately, my most recent stay placed me next to this Lucky.

Because of the dramatic increase in the cost of groceries, I get why some of the more expensive grocery stores are starting to lose business, but my experience here was simply ridiculous.

To start, Lucky is considered a premium grocer. They aren't "Whole Check" expensive, but they definitely aren't on the cheap side. Even with a membership to their shopping club, I'm still spending roughly 20% more per visit than when I shop at local markets. This is amazingly ironic, considering local markets usually are the ones that are most expensive because they don't do the same volume as larger chains.

It appears the supply chain problems have had an inverse effect on where people should buy groceries. The extra expense of shopping at Lucky has had another adverse effect, that's low turnout.

This store is mostly empty. It's not like I really enjoy grocery shopping in large groups, but the lack of turn on groceries has a negative effect on all of the most important foods you buy. Without a lot of people to clear out the bakery, the butcher, and the fresh produce, you get the worst of the worst.

In this case, I was shopping for meat, and I came across an entire section that was rotting. Maybe this isn't the norm, but it's more frequent than I'm sure they would like to admit. No matter what the rest of my experience was like, I simply just can't get over the rotting meat. So, I have to give them two stars.

Nice grocery store! (You have to bring your own bags) Great variety of products as well as hot and cold food bars. They also have like a little foodcourt with different vendors (dumplings, pizzas, burgers...)

The food, atmosphere, location is great. However, service needs work bad! Food doesn't come out until maybe 30 to 45 minutes. Expect wait time!!! (Luckily we had time)

I called to have a bouquet delivered to my mom for her birthday! I’m pretty sure his name was Chaz. But I told him what I wanted; he did an amazing bouquet and I was very impressed.

This place is too expensive and unorganized for me. I live across the street and I will go out or my way to go to key foods or a trader joes. This place is not getting my money for their over priced food. In addition, their check out line never makes any sense and there is never any management to organize it. You’d think all the money they’re charging food food they would organize the check out line but the employees are always too busy chatting with other employees. Key foods is like 2 avenues down the way. It is much more affordable and better organized

Your new strategy of not stocking regular paper bags to force customers who don’t have their own bags to purchase your $1 premium bags is upsetting and bad business. You spring this “we’re out of paper bags” routine after we have finished our shopping and don’t have a choice button to buy your premium bags or leave the store. Both wholefoods and nearby jubilee market offer 5 cent paper bags. You’re doing this on purpose to generate a new revenue stream. Loved this store but now have to shop somewhere else if I don’t have a reusable bag handy. It’s a shame you think people wouldn’t notice. Dumb.

This foodmaxx has fresh fruit and vegetables. It’s always stocked and has an extensive variety’s. It has also has the best prices that other chains can’t beat.

Excellent service since you walk through the door until you leave. The food is amazing! I recommend the Parrillada with Russian salad it never disappoints you :)

Had an amazing time for lunch at El Gauchito. We got the parrillada and you could tell the meat was very high quality. However, if you know your meat cuts you could tell that it was not what was advertised—- skirt steak was definetly not the good part of the skirt steak. Still, would definetly come again 😊 Service and ambiance were great too. Still, I prefer buying meat for delivery!

They have what you need with a small town feel. They have some great finds. Definitely go here for great fresh produce. It's never a long wait in line and the people are always friendly and helpful. They do have a deli place in the back for meats and stuff. I like it. And it's clean. There's plenty of parking as well.

Amazing staff! I love everyone that works here! We absolutely love coming the City Fresh, BUT the prices are TOO MUCH! They change so rapidly! Tomatoes that were $4-4.50 and $3.50 everywhere else, are $6.49 at this supermarket now. Eggs, butter, bread - everything is $2 more expensive. During the summer figs cost $8 here and the same figs at the supermarket across the street were $3.50. It’s okay for meat and good for seafood, but I don’t recommend to buy veggies here. Save your money, go somewhere else.

Major props to whoever designed this place. I’m coming back just off the looks of it.

Store shopping experience was overall good, nice staff and store, but...

A lot of the shopping carts are in serious need of maintenance. It took me three carts to find one that didn't make an intolerable squeaking and/or vibration noise. Everyone looks up to see what the loud noise is coming through the doors, both employees and customers.

Other than that, very nice store.

A gem in the middle of queens! I’ve been to several Argentinian steakhouses in NY and this is by far my favorite. In fact, it is the only one I would recommend to anyone. The food is fresh, hot, authentic, juicy, and flavorful. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and full of Argentinian mementos. The restaurant is split up into two sides and the back of the side of the entrance is a small area where you can purchase fresh meat and other Argentine items (Argentine mate bags, hats, tshirts, candy, etc).

The other side is fully decorated with souvenirs from different Argentinian provinces. There are also painted tiles around the perimeter of the room of famous Argentinian people. If you are Argentinian or have been to Argentina, you’d likely feel at home in this restaurant. The waiters are friendly, speak Spanish, and give you space/time to enjoy your meal.

The menu is beautifully hand drawn and there are many authentic Argentine food options available. Even though this place specializes in meat, there are many vegetarian options available.

We ordered the beef milanesa with onion and cheese, the complete parrillada for one person (which came with fries and a mixed salad), and a sifón. Having been to Argentina, one of the things I missed most about Argentina was the sifón. I love a good carbonated water and the sifón has the strongest carbonation I’ve ever had due to the strong bottle material. I couldn’t believe that it was on the menu and I had to order it. Truth be told, it was fun having sifón in NY but it was not the same as the sifón in Argentina. The carbonation was not as strong and was perhaps as weak as some sparkling waters.

But, before our food arrived, we were given (on the house!) warm bread with butter and chimichurri sauce on the side as well as this tomato, ham, and cheese in a green sauce as appetizer. The bread was fresh and tasted great with the chimichurri sauce. The chimichurri was tart (but not overly so), herby, and went with everything (you’d best believe I put it on everything we had to eat!). The green sauce on the tomato, ham, and cheese plate was similar in taste to the chimichurri but it was less tart due to the addition of oil and was even more addicting.

I believe the green sauce in the appetizer was the same green sauce used in the salad so obviously the salad tasted amazing. The salad had very fresh ingredients and these ingredients are all part of classic authentic Argentine salads. As the sides, the fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy inside (my favorite kind of fry!).

The onion and cheese beef milanesa was good and would pass in Argentina. The beef cutlets were covered in cheese and there were actually two layers of beef cutlet. The beef cutlets could have been made a little thinner but were a good thickness nonetheless. The beef cutlets were tender and not chewy at all. The onion flavor was very strong and perfect for anyone who loves onion.

The star of the meal was the parrillada. It had a piece of everything including entraña (skirt), tira de asado (ribs), mollejas (sweetbread), kidney, and several types of chorizo. All of the meats were juicy and cooked well (not overdone but also not uncooked). They retained a nice meat flavor without tasting like a cow. I will say there was a little too much choziro and not enough meat but I’ll forgive it because everything was so good. The chorizo was very flavorful and a little crispy. Also the meats were on a little bbq that kept everything nice and hot. Meat that is hot tastes 100 times better than meat that is cold and this bbq kept everything hot (not just warm but hot) for the entire meal. In fact, after I cut up pieces of chorizo, I would put them back on the bbq so they would sear a little bit. Also, included in the paradilla was several pieces of pickled cauliflower and peppers. The sourness of the pickled vegetables and the pieces of lightly salted meat was heavenly.

Due to this lengthy highly positive review, I now know that google has a character limit. If you don’t know by now, I highly recommend this place.

I recently visited El Gauchito and had an arnazing experience. The atmosphere was cozy and authentic, and the staff were all friendly and attentive.
For our meal, we started with a beef empanada and a chicken empanada, both of which were delicious. The empanadas were perfectly cooked with a crispy crust and savory filling.
Next, we had the camarones al ajillo, which were garlic shrimp served in a flavorful sauce.
These were also a hit And paired well with the empanadas.
For our main dish, we went with the Parilladas de carne for two, which was a platter of grilled meats served with sides. This was the perfect choice for meat lovers and came with a variety of cuts and flavors.
Overall, I highly recommend El Gauchito for anyone looking for authentic Argentine cuisine. The food and service were top-notch and I will definitely be returning for more.

I like this market for their variety in wine, beer and those specialty items that other grocery stores don't carry. You know what I mean...you got this recipe for some Italian salami, meat or cheese, they have it...or some kind of Mexican style spice, you have never heard of, they've got it. Seafood not found in other places....they have it. I have found nice sushi grade fish here before too. 👍I feel like I can take on any recipe with this place in my area.

This store is 30 minutes from my house. I looked online to see what time they opened which was 6:00am. No where did I see that the deli had different hours. At 7:45am I asked a nice young man at the deli counter for a pound of turkey. As he turns to start my order another employee says “oh you can’t help her we don’t open till 8:00am. Now mind you I am THE ONLY PERSON IN THE STORE! Great customer service! Told the store manager and instead of saying what was it you wanted let’s get that for you, I got an apology and an “I’ll speak with her that was wrong”. Price Chopper…do better!!! If your deli has different hours, which makes absolutely no sense, it would make sense to put that online as well. I’m sure they don’t care but they lost me as a customer and anyone else I can tell not to shop there.

Prices are good and folks were nice but there's no wine in the store - none. They have beer - strange. Folks that work there didn't seem to have an answer when I asked.

If you want wine you'll need to buy it somewhere else.

Very clean store, great staff, and great prices. I love the juice selection they have, and the bread is good quality. They had some good sales going on when we went in.

Outstanding local store with neighborly staff who welcome you with a smile and make you feel at home! Locally grown and produced items including jams, jellies, spices and wine! Prices are extremely competitive and sometimes cheaper than corporate competitors.

I enjoy shopping here but the prices are a little pricey. When I'm here I definitely get the feeling of being in TÜRKIYE shopping at the store. Sultans has a variety of everything, and I usually always find everything I'm looking for and then some.
The guys at the meat counter are very nice and helpful, I feel like they go above and beyond to help me get the right cut of meat. I'm not an easy person either bc I'm very picky with my cuts.
When it comes to the bread and dessert area I usually just pass, same thing with the frozen section.
I like that they have many different cashiers, but it was confusing to me at first. All in all I like shopping here.

Genuinely one of the best mediterranean catering experiences I have ever had and ate. To start off, the food was phenomenal, we ordered the shish tawook, shish kabobs, pita, garlic sauce, and hummus. The presentation for the food was amazing and the portions for the food were very big, (over a foot size for the kabob), and they did not hold back on the vegetables (onions and tomatoes). The owner threw in the hummus and garlic sauce for free and everything else was very very well priced. We fed 30 people for less than $200 and had a good amount left over. Everyone loved the food and it was a huge hit. On top of that, the owner’s customer service was amazing. He was very patient, nice, and pleasant to work with, and catered to our needs specifically. All the meat was zabihah cut by the owner. Definitely gonna come back again and tell others about it!

The remodeling is complete and absolutely 💯 top! Way beyond my expectations. I've dumped my previous PC for this one. Who needs the prices of Whole Foods when you have this newly redone PC which is just as good. They have So much to offer and great selection. Service so far has been great. I am disappointed in Corporate for Not giving employees discounts (long story 😑 😒, found out by accident in a convo w/employee). Yo Price Chopper Corporate give your employees a discount! As a customer you won't be disappointed with this store. I love their set up, displays, variety in selections, stock availability and their fresh ready to eat options 😋 😀

A pro of this store is they have good selection and smaller shops inside like artichokes and others.

The cons are the insanely high prices for everything, the staff are rude and not paying attention, and the even with the line 20+ people long at 5 PM on a weekday there will only be two registers open.

Better options for grocery shopping include the key foods which is a five minute walk away or whole foods around a twenty minute walk away. But this place works if you only need a couple things.

Excellent edition to Clifton/Paterson. Very stocked up and has a large selection of Turkish and Middle Eastern groceries. You will not find a cleaner or more organized mini market in NJ. The Meat/Deli department is super clean and good selection. Prices are just slightly on some products compared to other stores in the area but not by much, I would still love to see them to adjust over time and be comparable to others in terms of prices.

The only trusted Halal place in all of Houston. They will do Specialty cuts as well. Freshest meat I've had.

it has always been a great place to shop but today at about 11:02pm I came in to shop and after shopping I was ready to check out but this Indian guy & Asian lady where just standing there and chatting like they are not seeing me, even when I call on the Indian guy and he respond the lady is coming the keep talking for a while be for coming to check me out. Bad customer service

Small but very good and affordable supermarket. Has all of the essentials you need and also a decent selection of alcohol. Also has a great selection of latin products, considering it is a latin supermarket. It can get packed on the weekends or after 6, but overall a very convenient supermarket to have on Anderson.

Excellent fresh organic halal meat. If you want purely hand slaughtered halal meat then Mina is 100% the zabiha halal meat place for you. Their menu includes premium items like bbq, wings, shawarma, pizza, burgers, fish that are all fresh and like home made tasting at a great price. Mina is a hidden gem in houston. They offer catering for large events if needed as well.

Mina Halal meat is the best in town. They hand slaughter everything in the store and their meat is by far the best I’ve seen in Houston. Great customer service too!

Mina Halal has the best quality meat for the lowest price. I love the customer service here, makes me want to come back for more quality meat. Their prices on lamb are phenomenal 🍖. My husband is a total foodie, and Mina Halal checks all the boxes for his needs, alhamdulillah

It is one of the best supermarkets in the area. It has good variety of products. Prices are fair. It has fresh vegetables and fruits. Clean. Helpful staff. I like the fresh baked bread that you can get early in the morning.

Worst place to work in, the owner it’s a prideful Cuban who always thinks cashiers still from him. He used to pay me $6 hr a single mother, it’s like working for the army, his auntie worked there too and God forbid you said anything to offend the owner, she would tell and get you in trouble. She was scared of him always. Good food and quality yes, a bit pricey but good bread and vegetables...

Update 8/22/22: This store is now store 32 and I have to say what a transformation. I now changed this from a 3 star to a 5 star, based on what I've seen the past several months. The store is now super clean, fantastic and healthy selection of products, fresh veges and a big change in employee attitudes. Keep up the good work guys.

Update: I've seen a change in the store. The express line people seem to more helpful and friendlier, so I changed this from a 1 star to 3 stars. I hope it keeps up.

I find the store to be convenient, and the selection is good, but someone should have a talk with the people that work on the self-service registers during the dinner hours, they have no customer service skills at all, and unfortunately, they don't know it.

They have recently updated the formerly dated and dumpy store. It looks good now and, while I'm still learning the organization, I go more often than I used to. The displays are improved and it just feels like a modern store. It's improving and I'll continue to update this review as I notice changes (this update moved them from 2 to 3 stars).

Not many quality items. Generally poor selection. No focus on customers. Give me Raley's or give me Safeway.

I hear some Lucky's are excellent but this isn't one of them.

A bit of improvement in the produce section. But the selection of most things is still spotty.

Nice and clean once you get in, their meat and the butcher shop corner really clean and being taken care of.no bad smells like other meat shop in the city.
It happened that we ate their grilled Kebabs and chicken, it was awesome, my kids loved it..
Definitely I will be back to buy and to eat yummy Kebabs.

Kikos is THE BEST. They have awesome produce. Fresh fruit. They sell Hispanic items that are so delicious. I go there 5 or 6 times a week. They work fast at the checkout , you don't have to wait more than 6 or 7 minutes at the register. I suggest going there. Plus their owner is EXTREMELY NICE, and the people at the register are SUPER NICE too.

Nice store for reasonable price,but hard to find the things not organized well

They have a different selection of merchandise, leaning towards Latin Mexican cream, tortillas, they have a full Deli, and also they have a meat counter they have good lighting and the place has been refurbished not too long ago looks good. The cashiers are quick and friendly, as is anyone I have encountered in the store.

This store is spacious and has almost everything I need... this is one of my top 3 stores for grocery shopping in the area.

Kind of pricey and limited on choice but still a good place to grab some necessities if a trip to the local supermarket is not in the cards. It's basically like a mini super market with a bit of everything from produce and meat to pet food to cleaning supplies and bath n beauty products. I like the fact that they sell beer!
