Management keeps this place clean and neat!! Easy access to the beach and restaurants. I would definitely visit this place again and again

Safe, clean and close to everything. Staff is awesome too. I can't wait to get back.

Such a beautiful rv park. Everything was clean and well maintained. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Located close to beach... but the traffic to get out is nonstop! Pools heated , so enjoyable year round...stayed for a week. Will be going back, definitely...

Best rv park in the dfw it’s clean the people are all nice I stayed at the Northlake one and the people were a little ghetto the restrooms here are cleaning the laundry too and their pool looks rlly nice and their dog park was cool my dog played with the dogs and tHey were all nice Jean and her husband are very good at customer service A+ I may be back in the future enjoyed my stay my rig is kinda new and I rlly liked the fact that they didn’t allow older rigs there bc at the other rv park I stayed at they did and a lot of the times those people caused a lot of trouble or were always acting some sort of ways

Our stay at Sea Beach RV Resort was off to a great start thanks to the incredibly helpful staff who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. They graciously rearranged our sites so that our family could be together, a gesture that we truly appreciated and that enhanced our overall experience at the resort.
The presence of a pool and jacuzzi added an extra touch of luxury and relaxation to our stay, providing the perfect spots to unwind and enjoy some quality time with loved ones.
While the resort itself provided a safe and secure environment with locked gates, allowing us to feel at ease during our stay, we encountered some external factors that caused concern. The presence of homeless individuals in the surrounding area, particularly on the beach, in the park, and along the walking path, was unsettling and made us hesitant to let our teens explore the town freely.
Within the resort, the game room, though clean and well-stocked, had limited hours of operation, closing at 5 pm. This early closure was disappointing as it prevented us from enjoying the facility in the evening when we would have liked to. Additionally, our experience was marred by the unfriendly attitude of the staff member at the front desk when we visited the game room shortly before closing time. Her lack of hospitality and abrupt demeanor left a negative impression on us and detracted from our overall enjoyment of the resort.
Despite these issues, Sea Beach RV Resort offers a pleasant setting with helpful staff, great amenities, and a secure environment. With some improvements in addressing the operational hours of facilities and ensuring a more welcoming guest experience, this resort has the potential to provide an even more enjoyable stay for visitors.

This is our third time staying here. The facilities are great: restrooms clean,. Staff is always working doing maintenance, planting small trees. It is very nice overall. They are doing a great job.
My only suggestion would be to have maybe more grass areas strategically situated around the park. Probably you are thinking about it already.

As always we enjoyed our stay. Great place and close to everything. We love the walk to the little beach. The kids always love the pool , hot tub and games. Laundry room is always clean and makes the beach in an RV so much easier.

Stayed here about 5 times, always a pleasure experience.

Friendly staff, very clean park and quiet. Plenty of washer and dryer’s and clean as well. Clean and nice bathroom area. They have nice mail room area. Beautiful swimming pool. We stayed here for 6 months and had fun with the activities they had here. Will stay here again if we are ever back here in town.

This park is like all of the ones in the beach cities. They are just wide enough for the rig and a picnic table. However, this park has a fence partway between the sites. Most of the sites are concrete Pull-Thru spots. The campground is situated right on Pacific Coast Hwy and is near to everything, except a sandy beach. You can access a beach with just a short drive. The park has a nice but small pool and Jacuzzi. The staff maintains the park in a very clean condition. The Sprinter light rail train goes by frequently and blows their horn but it doesn't bother me. This is our second stay and we will definitely be returning. You can get packages delivered by UPS.

We loved the look and location of the park but sad to say we were judged by the lady working the office. She was not very welcoming towards us and our child then told us only 2 people per RV. She was fully aware it was just us two and our child. They had plenty of families in the park! Could say much more but I’m going to just leave it at this.

I got to give it for the owner he does love his Park and He does care about it, he's very accommodating while I haven't spent any time there I have three dogs two of them are big and I don't like picking up that poop and I don't want to impose on this guy cuz he's really a nice guy I thank him for opening up his camp and letting me stay there but I don't want to cause him any trouble thank you.

FKA Rustic Sands, the Mexico Beach RV Resort has been making a comeback since Hurricane Michael. What you will not see is beautiful landscaping and lots of shade trees; the hurricane took care of that. However, what you will see includes level, easy-to-park spaces, FHU, clean bathhouse, and lots of peace and quiet, for the most part. Staff are friendly and helpful. There appear to be permanent residences within the campground, and one man in particular had large, barking dogs staked out in his "yard." The canal next to the campground has a lot of trash in it, but I don't think that the owners of the campground have anything to do with that. Sandspurs are a problem in the campsites, so don't walk around barefoot! Overall, though, we enjoyed the quiet and the proximity to the beach.

This was a wonderful famcamp with the full concrete spots close to the commisary and exchange. We will be back. Very well maintained.

This is our third year to come back. We love it here. The location is ideal; close to the beach, near downtown and the pier. We walk down for sunset daily. The staff are great and they do a fantastic job of keeping everything clean. We plan to come again next year.

Stayed here multiple times over the last two years. Staff has always been great and helpful. Sites are clean and park is well maintained. Definitely recommend.

I stayed for 4 months and the facilities / amenities were consistently kept very clean. Large bathrooms with large walk in showers.
The management is excellent to work with and communicate with. (Jody, Damon, Ken)
Of course, wonderful location.
Great for month to month in off season!
Came from 1000 Trails and just decided to stay.
I do not normally write reviews but because employees worked there did such a wonderful job and it was a comfortable place to temporarily call home 🏡
I had to share. 🧡Elizabeth
The only downside is ... THE TRAIN noise!!
I never got used to the sound train as early as 5am and as late as 11pm.

This park suited my needs perfectly. No swing set, pool or bathhouse, just a quiet place with water, power and sewer hookup. It's predominantly for long-term stays, but the owner was kind to accommodate my 3 night stand.
It's about 5 minutes to the Vicksburg National Military Park, a sensation historic attraction for the area.

What a wonderful experience at Paradise by The Sea RV park. If you're looking for a clean, well maintained, safe RV park in a great location, this is the place to be. The staff were so helpful and friendly. This place is packed with amenities. A small store, a pool and hot tub, clean showers and restrooms, and a clubhouse, they even have a dog park. 🐕
On our first evening there, we walked the 1/4 mile to the beach and watched the sun set. Each day, we explored Oceanside by foot and found great locations for lunch and dinner. There's even a coffee shop (Vigilnate Coffee) within walking distance. If convenience and a clean place in a great location is what you're looking for, then Paradise by The Sea is worth the higher price tag.

THE BEST location. Very nice RV sites. The managers were so nice. Very pet friendly. Took off a star (wish I could give 4.5 stars) for not being kid friendly. You can tell they are catering to an older crowd, but, it would be nice to at least have swings. The laundry facility was SO NICE AND CLEAN, so that deserves to be mentioned. We cannot wait to stay here again. It will be our regular stop in Texas from now on.

My wife and I were traveling through Dallas for a business meeting and stopped at the park, can’t tell you how amazing this park is! New, clean, beautiful and the best part are the people. Other guest were super friendly but most of all the management staff was second to none. Friendly, accommodating and Extremely helpful. We will definitely save here again next time our travels take us through the Dallas Texas area.

Stayed at this location for one month. Its proximity to the beach and pier is convenient. The staff members are exceptionally friendly, and the facilities are well-maintained and clean. The heated pool is a nice touch. However, the game room was closed for maintenance during our stay. Additionally, the back laundry room consistently had several out-of-service dryers, causing inconvenience.
Regrettably, my husband’s new $3,000 mountain bike was stolen from our site one night. Swift reporting led to a fortunate recovery by the local police from a nearby homeless camp the following day. Notably, the park has two entrances; one has a gate that operates at scheduled times, while the other remains open without a gate. I recommend installing an additional gate for added security. Unfortunately, theft incidents seem to occur in cycles at this park, emphasizing the importance of securing personal belongings.

Really nice park with many helpful staff members. Super clean and well maintained. Sites are close together, but that's to be expected when near the beach. Walking path takes you to the waves in a couple minutes.

Possibly the best RV Park I've stayed. Reasonably priced, extremely well maintained, hands on staff. Good treed spacing between sites, quiet and clean. Brand new laundry that beats in town prices. Ice cream cones for $1.50! All in a great experience. 2 miles ebike ride to Prospect diner and country store. Try the chef salad. Don't miss the Natural Bridge ... spectacular.

Overall really enjoyed our stay. It was clean, quiet. The office was nice, lots of travel info, books, supplies etc. The wifi wasn’t the best, but it could have been our site or the weather.

Oceanside RV resort, it’s a great place to stay only a couple blocks from the beach. My husband and I stayed for four months while working a temporary job nearby. We got to see so many of the new improvements going on; new foliage, better lights, remodeled laundry rooms, improved dog run. We highly recommend staying there. The resident staff are outstanding. Thanks everyone for making our stay pleasant.

Very nice. Close to Commissary and PX, many years of history on this post. Good Starlink, Verizon, will definitely come again. Water pressure is my only negative, but we are spoiled!

We camped here for the entire summer while working. Beautiful location, and the owner is super nice, we loved it and will stay again when we get the chance!

Great, clean RV park we stayed here while visiting Legoland. Easy walk to the beach, good coffee and restaurants. Great facility with lovely pool and hot tub. Games room for the kids. Laundry facilities. Decorated nicely with friendly helpful staff. Would stay again.

Great campground on Redstone Arsenal. Huge paved spots at only $25 a night. Sites are spread out with plenty of room. Requires base access.

Do NOT stay here. Run down, grass a foot high(because the mower broke) year round residents with piles of junk surrounding their campers. NO REFUNDS. So you pay in full expecting “resort “ conditions and end up at Fred Sanfords junk yard. Don’t do it.

We had a very relaxing vacation here!
The owners a very involved in the daily operation, and the campground is very well-kept. We took our dogs on hikes every day. They have events but it's also a very quiet and laid-back place.

We had a wonderful time at this campground!! Astrig and Steve are so friendly and helpful. When we saw there was a sit on the water we were able to move and spent our last 2 days on the deck overlooking the ocean! It was a beautiful 3 day stay! I think it would be so much fun to be there when the crafty activities are happening!! Will definitely be back if ever in this area!!

We were heading home to Reno NV and wanted to see Crater Lake. We booked a couple days here and really enjoyed it. It is a small campground with about 55 sites tucked into the trees. Our site was large enough for our 38 foot motorhome with 4 slides and Jeep we tow. The sites are a reasonable size but with our slides out we were hitting the edge of branches from some of the trees and so was our roof. The pads are asphalt and they come with a picnic table. They say they can accommodate up to a 40 foot rig.
They provide wifi and it was very fast but we had problems with latency quite a bit. They also provide cable but we did not bother to get hooked up. We use ATT cellular and cell service was basically zero so plan ahead.
There are a couple of hiking trails that start at the campground as well as quite a few in the town of Prospect. There are also some amazing waterfalls in the area very close by.
You can have a fire at your campsite provided you get the ring from them and purchase the firewood from them. We paid 41 dollars a night which is not bad.
We would stay here again.

Found this great little park by accident. Very clean & good WiFi…. Friendly people.. new showers & laundry! Beautiful wooded sites with access to Crater Lake & tons of waterfalls… we will be back!

We stayed here for 8 days. This was our first time in this area. So we were out and about every day from early to dark. They helped us make The most of our time and know what to go see. We were sorry we didn't Have more time to spend at the campground. The owners are wonderful people. We highly recommend this campground.

Rented one of the small cabins for family to come while we were staying in our Rv. I picked up the keys for them since they would be arriving late. Thank goodness I did. They charge $100 cleaning fee. Not sure who made the $100. When I went to turn the air on, the cabin was filthy. Sand and dirt everywhere. Bathroom sink dirty, door mat and shower mat covered in sand and dirt. Needless ti say I cleaned it myself, because I couldn’t have my family staying in the filth. While making the bed, the mattress fell. Found that the frame was broke and there were concrete pavers scattered under bed. Had to stack them up under the frame. The office manager acted surprised when I told her. Well someone knew the bed was broke or they would not have had pavers under it. The next morning the cabin stunk so bad. Finally found that the smell was coming from the air conditioner filter. It had a solid layer of filth. When I told the manager (Charming) how horrible it was and that I had picture, all she said was “Oh my gosh, I’m sorry”. maybe the person who does the cleaning did not show for some reason, the LEAST they could have done was not charge for the cleaning fee since I had to clean myself. Terrible management. As far as the Rv sites- it was great. We met some amazing people. If we had any questions or issues, Wanda, who works in the office on weekends is definitely the go to person. Answered any questions we had. Super friendly and seems to know what is going on in the park and community.
Great location to the beach!! This will be our go to spot for camping, but would not recommend the cabins to anyone. I was so embarrassed when my family arrived.

Reserved and paid for 3 nights about a month earlier. Well as it turned out it happen to be the same time hurricane Idalia came to town which was headed for Mexico Beach RV resort. Naturally you would think since you can’t camp they would refund you. After talking with them they would not refund my 3 day stay.. Terrible business its not like i cancelled because i changed my mind they expect you to stay during a cat 3 hurricane. Would never recommend staying at that camp site.

We have had one of the best camping experiences ever this week at Searsport Shores! From wonderful music to beach visits to walks in the woods to joining in at the artist in residence activities- it has all been such fun. Creativity abounds here. Yesterday the artist table had all ages , from a few of us retired folks to a young mom with two early elem boys. It was fabulous having such a great age spread. The mom did a great job of helping them while also enjoying the project herself. Last night was storytelling around the campfire for the kids and us kids at heart. And it will be pizza dinner with great live music in a few nights. This place rocks! I never want to go home!

Yes, i stayed at the Cedar Hollow cabin and it was wonderful. What i didnt know was the "river" was a cesspool, there was a pipe coming out of a retaining wall that was humming and whatever it was was going right into the river. Downstream it stunk and there was black sand and when i said something about it they acted like they didnt know about it. I have pictures and a video to prove it.

Make sure when requesting an RV site you’re very specific about the number of people who are with you. Because I even informed them, it would be me and my two boys in the initial conversation when she expect me to do have one sleep in the truck.
Then I was told that only two occupants per camper per the city of Argyle water department. I might be just a simple country boy but I don’t see how a camper could use more water than argyle water department could handle. So now me and my boys are having to find someplace else to put our camper. Very very disappointed.
I appreciate your reply on 8/27/23 but it doesn’t change the fact I was told that the city of Argyle restricted you to two occupants per camper. So my issue is if I was there with my wife and a baby you would not allow us to stay there. But it’s your park and you can do as you please. But I think you should inform Good Sam Club and Camper World of your restrictions. You should also probably post those on your website. Just a suggestion. Have a great day.

This is a great rv park. Small privately owned and well taken care of. The community bathroom and laundry building are new clean and easily accessible from anywhere in the park. Office staff is very friendly and helpful. The park is close to crater lake with all of its sights as well as may other things that are nearby. On Saturday nights they have a fire pit with a hosted hot dog cook out all while local talent plays old time folk music. A great way to end our stay. Thank you.

Super nice RV park in a great setting. Nice people running it, spacious sites. The only negatives are only one bathroom (which is nice and clean) for 50 plus sites. And it's far from many of the sites - like ours! The other negative is that it's right on the highway. Which is surprisingly busy and loud ALL night long. Lots of logging and or construction trucks. So bad, I had to wear ear plugs. Otherwise great location in a cute, little town.

What a fabulous campground. It’s really a unique place, with its own special atmosphere - I was lucky enough to be there for the alfresco pizza night! Shady spots for a tent, and the sea is a stone’s throw away. The owners know just how to personalise the experience for the campers, and the result is a lot of happy people. Many thanks for truly memorable stay!

Scotty the owner went above and beyond to help us out this past weekend. Making a phone call to the local Motorsports shop. We were able to keep riding. The campground is very nice. Full hookups, quiet, easy access. I will definitely recommend him and be staying again. Thanks

The quietest place I have ever camped. The friendliest place ever! The owner is friendly and has nice occasions of cookouts for residents. I would say set up mostly for long term and long stay. But heck, we started here short stay and now we are seasonal creek side. I plan on staying a long time. Come visit. Nice little creek , restaurant near, close to town while still having that woods feeling. I can’t get over how quiet and peaceful! Cabin to rent as well. 👍Wi-Fi as well. Full hookups.

Come for the camping, leave after seeing Scott the owner physically assault someone.
If I were you, I'd avoid this place like the plague. The owner of the campgrounds is not someone you should be giving your business to, if what I saw of him tonight was any indication of his character. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere to camp that isn't run by a lunatic.

The office staff are very nice and helpful. Location is just okay - 45 minutes from Carter Lake NP. Campground right off the road with some road noise. No train noise. Campground very wooded (Starlink will not work). Sites are gravel mostly level. No common grass area. RV site specious. The campground is clean. You must first pay to get wood and a fire ring. Nice picnic tables. I did not use the public bathroom/shower. The roads in the campground are wide enough. Wifi poor speed shared (with all guests) password.
All in all a very nice place. I would come back if in the area.

Frio country resort always goes above and beyond to ensure my booking and vacations are correct. The maintenance and cleanliness of properties is outstanding. The communication of the property owners and the resort are always good and you never have to worry about things that may come up.

First and foremost stay away! When I booked early February of 2023 for June 29-July 6, had to pay up front non refundable (I understand it was a holiday week) spoke with Wanda I guess she was manager, very nice on the phone she our site would be 28. When we arrived on the 29th they put us on site 64, no big deal right! Yes it was. The front of our camper faced the front of our neighbors camper, thank heaven they were a great couple because that was our view. The breaker didn’t work but it was fixed immediately, no picnic table on site at all, my husband ask if they could furnish one , yes they said, needless to say no picnic table at all during the entire stay! When I booked I asked how far the beach was and Wanda said about a block away no it was not . It was a new experience for us to visit Mexico beach needless to say we will not be back. This definitely is not a resort and the new ownership needs to get their sh$$ together! Should have read more reviews.

We were skeptical about the place,Never been there.
Its a RV Resort Park,Although it has several cabins which you can rent.
We rented a small cabin.
Like a hotel room with bed, fridge ,sink, and microwave and bathroom.
But the feel of it was different.
The park is very quiet, kept up well and it offers laundry room, showers and bathrooms for outside.
Also nice pool
Love music or events scheduled at different times.
Now if you are looking for high maintenance
Or should say a over the top resort
This is not for You.
Beach access is.06 mile and seems closer.
Rates are lower than most at Mexico Beach.
Now,Let me tell you about The Staff!!
Could not ask for better.
They stay onsite and will go out of their way to help you.
They made our stay much more enjoyable.
So if you are looking for laid back RVing or A small cabin give Mexico Beach RV Resort a call.
We will be back and soon.
Matter of fact will be our destination to stay from here out.

Our stay is part of our thousand trails membership, and it is a great place to stay. There are many places to eat and a Wal-Mart just a few miles away.
The ocean air is wonderful. The sites are tight but comfortable. Sites have fences separating them.
There are a few clean and well maintained laundry rooms. The restrooms are complete, with clean showers.
My only complaint would be that the dog park is dirt with gravel. It has a bad smell with obvious wet spots that are kind of icky. Yet there is a large dog bath, which is a nice surprise.

We had the three forks cabin and it was amazing. It was quiet and secluded but we had 2 different river access points that were less than 10 mins away. Had a great trip!

It was our first time going to Frio. We were excited and our expectations were definitely met. The cabins were clean, the kitchen was stocked with the essentials and the atmosphere was great! We didn't encounter any problems. There were plenty of spaces by the river and we felt safe during our stay. I would highly recommend Frío Country Resort.

I truly enjoyed our stay. The staff was nice and friendly. The grounds, pool, and bathrooms were clean. Yes, there is a train track but the noise didn't bother us. If you are sensitive to noise then this may not be the spot for you. We stayed in one of the pull-through spaces for 3 nights. Location is great. Close to coffee, food, and the beach.

Can’t wait to get here. We have a pop-up camper we’re taking my handicap father on a grand adventure starting on the Frio River. We’re so lucky to get a reservation at such a nice place June 1st can’t get here soon enough. Most places turn there noses up to a pop-up. Or don’t have a spot available. Thank you Frio River Resort see you soon

The best RV park located in the middle of Huntsville on Redstone Arsenal. If you have MWR privileges this should be your first choice in Huntsville. Clean, quiet, most sites are pull through. The camp hosts are very helpful. The only drawback are making reservations. All are made by calling Outdoor Recreation 9:30 -5:30 and they are closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Strongly suggest they set up online reservations. Other than that this is a great park. Kudos to Management.

Over the top customer service. Beautiful amenities, outstanding RV pads, full hook ups, and a wonderful pool with party room.. I could stay here the rest of my life.

Stopped in with low charge on my EV on way from Scottsbluff to Casper with no EV stations in between. Host let me charge for a few hours off an RV 220V plug (started at 5kwh, stable at 8kwh). Completely saved us from getting stuck before Casper. Thanks so much!!!

Great place, quite and feels really safe. Pet friendly, never afraid when walking dog after dark. Easy access from I20

Nice campground with easy access to some great hiking trails, fishing, and the Appalachian mountains. The Owner Scott is a really down to earth guy and very helpful. Definently recommend this park to anyone visiting Elkins, WV.

Loved our one-night stay at Chuck Wagon RV Park. Our plan was to winter camp at Guernsey State Park but none of the campsites were plowed. The Hofrocks were so friendly and accommodating. They opened a spot and welcomed us with open arms. Bathrooms were clean and showers hot. Trains do roll right behind park but it's actually cool and not frequent enough to become annoying -- and I'm not a train person! Fort Laramie National Historic Site is just down the road.

I'm giving 5 stars because our visit here was great, probably during off season but extremely quiet (except for road traffic) which you deal with everywhere, our site was very level and quite large compared to most places we've been, there's not much shade if you need that, the property was clean and seemed well maintained.
Happy Camping
Happy Camping

OK/Average... Friendly owners, clean bathrooms, and closest to Fort Laramie National Site, Balanced by very small town , dusty location and right next to mainline tracks with lots of trains day and night. Would we stay here?? Maybe or maybe not and we suggest you make your own decision whether this is a good place to stay. We visited here September 2022.

Our experience here was fair. The first month (of the nearly 3 that we stayed) was great. But don’t be fooled. The staff here are unprofessional (Cindy specially). She is disrespectful, petty, and unprofessional. The list of rules this places has is ridiculous! They clearly just want people who breeze through, don’t visit outside their campers, and don’t have children. This “resort” is NOT family friendly. They don’t seem to like children playing outside. Our two kids loved riding scooters up and down the road with other children and adults outside, but several comments were made to make us feel uncomfortable letting them play.. chalk isn’t allowed outside your assigned concrete spot…they don’t want children in the clubhouse, yet there are coloring books and games out for them.. The list goes on. If you have children - keep looking for another place to stay for the weekend, much less any other length of time. Aside from that, very few sites are actually level, sand and dirt directly outside your door cause a constant mess. Best advice, keep looking.

So it was my first time staying there. They sold me on the fact that the cabins are walking distant from the river which is awesome. What they don't tell you and I guess it's a bad on my part too is that the river is so low the part of the river where the cabins are is pretty much dry. So my family and I still had to end up driving to the section where there river was still flowing. Had they told us that I would have looked for something cheaper because they use that as a reason to bump up prices. Other than the cabin was ok, older but clean for the most part.

Clean park with good facilities close to I-20.
Great for an overnight stay while traveling.
Not fancy.

Perfect location, full hookup, nothing extra, very neat and well maintained property. Check in was super easy. Hope to stay there often with our travels.

The campsite is very nice, and the hostess is very kind and helpful. She even gave me a parting gift of her famous homemade cinnamon bread. The full hook-ups were clean, which was much appreciated, and everything worked as it should. Great little place to stay. Would stay again.

Stayed at the True Love house
water had a horrible smell, the water stained the bathtub. They did send someone to fix the issue
The ad for the home said it had satellite tv, we did not have any television service
The ac would not get below 78 in the heat of the day, after sun went down the temperature of the home was better
The fireplaces have no covers on the outside , wasps would come in.
we had to place blankets in front of the fireplace to keep them out of the house
The circuit breaker kept tripping
The only good part of this house is the location . I would suggest staying at one of their other properties . House is not worth the price being charged
Would not stay again. The property management was nice and issued us a small refund

This is a place to come if you are not in a hurry. We did not have time to take in the historical sites but would stay here again You could not ask for friendlier hostess. Restrooms were spotless. We were given a loaf of homemade bread when we left. It doesn't get much better than that!

Very nice campground. Quiet and beautiful surroundings. Spacious sites we stayed on #38. Very clean and Scott the owner maintains the grounds everyday. Wifi was excellent. They offer a military discount! Great place to camp. 5 star rating!

This place was awesome, No Frills Campground. Full hookup 30/50 amp sewer and water. Water pressure was awesome. Quiet quiet quiet, I don't think I've been in a more quiet Campground. No shower house no laundry but the price was right. Mike the owner is a very nice guy. If you're passing through help make his retirement dream come true. My wife and I only intended to stay one night but we stayed two it was so quiet. Thanks Mike!!!

Huge concrete pads. 70 slots with an additional 17 being built. Most drive through. Nice experience.

What a hidden gem this park is. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. We are full-time RV snowbirds from Ontario, Canada who grew up in Manhattan Beach. We travel coast to coast yearly and recognize a good park when we are in one. This is our first winter in CA since the virus hit and we plan to be back to this park in the winter to visit family and friends - Vista is a convenient home base. We were staying here 2 nights and have now extended our stay another 2 nights. Thank you OARR Staff - By JOnTariO

Fantastic place. I suspect any prior negative reviews were under old management that has been recently replaced. The current leadership and crew are stellar.
The grounds are already nice with quality accommodations but as I write this they're making further improvements. Pretty neat to watch it unfold and wish we could stay longer to benefit from them.
New picnic tables with onboard coolers, new stone work at each RV site, privacy screens going up. Very cool to see the folks working on it excited and engaged in making the place so nice for visitors.
Would stay again if we're in the area.

This is an amazing find in northern AL. This is the MWR RV park on Redstone Arsenal proper, not to be confused with MWR Easter Posey CG on the Tennessee River. That CG is no hookups and not designed for big rigs. This RV park consists of 70 sites (with more under construction) that are approx 25'x65' pull-through concrete pads with 50A FHU. Only sites 8-14 are back in. Check in is easy: enter through Gate 8 on Goss Rd, find your site, park, and you're done. There are 2 hosts that go around and mark all reserved sites each day. No need to check in at an office. The commissary, exchange and gas station (no diesel) are all less than a mile away. The FBI, BATF, and NASA have major facilities on base along with several major Army commands. No active duty units on the base according to the host.
There is a paved walking/bike trail very near the campground that you can take all the way around the base (12.2 miles). The nearby NASA Visitor Center for the Marshall Space Flight Center costs $25, but has plenty to do for kids and adults.

The WORST, most unfriendly, and cold RV Park I have ever stayed in. They provide tall wooden blocks to every site, as the park is on a slant and the rows of identical packed-in 5th-wheels and 3/4 ton trucks, made me feel like I was staying in a storage yard. No globe lights, red checker table clothes, splashing in the pool, BBQs, or happy conversations outside and ESPECIALLY NO PETS.
Traveling with an 8-year-old Italian Mastiff and an 8-week old English Bulldog puppy, I was reprimanded for having them outside (mastiff on a leash and the puppy in her crate), while I was loading the car. Despite what the rules & regulations stated, neither was allowed to be outside if I was inside working (with the doors and windows open). The dog park is a 10 x 10 bed of rocks, while other parts of the park have marked restrictions (due to 'landscaping'). The staff was downright rude, borderline disrespectful and I would have canceled my pricey week-long stay after the first night, but their restrictive 'policies' would have provided no refund and added a fee for cancellation.
DON'T DO IT... the sheer and utter lack of caring and indifference from this park, not only shows through with their grounds but also with the fact that this bad review (as well as many others) will get no response from any 'concerned party'.

Awesome place especially if you're just passing through. Very quiet, well lit, and clean with full hookups and plenty of room to get backed in. The gentleman on the phone was very patient and helpful.
Depending on how your map routes you in be careful not to turn into the Pecan RV Park which is just along the road. There's a big green sign for 'The Roost RV Park' that you can't miss.

No frills RV park just what we needed. Helpful owner. Easy to navigate with full hook-ups. One way in and out not. Mind the ditch making a left turn off of the main road. *Do not turn at Pecan Ridge RV park.* No random debris or makeshift patios etc. Very clean. We felt safe and would stay here again.

Nice place to park safely and stay a night. Has power, 30 and 50, gravel, hookup water and sewage. PSA. Do not drive into Pecan Mobile home park. Keep going even when gps says turn. You are 1000 feet from your left turn to Roost RV park. We turn in and had to back out. Very tricky but doable.

The sites are large pull throughs. Large concrete pads with grass, gravel roads. Large and small dog park with gravel.
Laundry facilities are clean. 1/2 mile to PX and Commissary. Gas station within 1/2 mile easy to pull through for big gas Class A’s, we are 39’. No shade but the weather was great while we were here.
Photo is a panoramic from the dog park looking out across the park.

Super great! It is spacious, clean, & orderly. Laundry has 4 each washers & dryers; currently $1.00 with a change machine. Dog play area

The RV park was very nice, and clean with beautiful landscaping. We wish the spaces were more level and wider though. They were large pull though spaces and the park was freeway and city close. If it weren't for the terrible management though we would have given this park 5 stars. When we first came into the park they had a wonderful and helpful staff. They really made our stay pleasant. When they left, the manager Vanessa became rude and blunt most of the time. She was also very difficult to deal with and track down. The park became under staffed and seemed as if there was no management at all most of the time. We would highly recommend this place if it weren't for this.

The owners are very nice, and accommodating. The spots were cramped, but everything worked very good. Not much in the town but we did enjoy fort Laramie. My son and I also rode our bikes and had a picnic at the river. The trains do run a lot and are very loud but we were able to sleep threw it!

This RV park was without question, the most difficult one to access. From the I-15 off-ramp at Gopher Canyon we wound around throuh the Narrow canyon roads, which eventually brought us to the city streets of Vista, CA, this is no small feat with 61' of rv and truck! Once here check-in was a breeze, the desk staff were cordial and professional, the concrete space did accomodate us but only barely. They are definitely "big rig" friendly for anyone with 60'+ rigs. My only complaint about the spaces are their downhill slope back to front, which makes it very difficult to level up. The park does provide leveling blocks which can be driven up to assist the longest motorhomes. This resort includes laundry facility, club house with internet access, a fenced pet area and well groomed sites. The price was very reasonable for the area at $65/night for full 30A/50A hookups, most other resorts in the coastal areas are $100+/night with some ranging over $200/night! Shopping food, hardware and fuel is near by, but fueling for "big rig" friendly fuel stations are difficult to find, so fuel accordingly. The beaches are 30 minutes away I-5 and I-15 are near enough and downtown San Diego are about 1 hour +/- away. Our stay here has been pleasant and if we are back this way again we will stop in for a stay. ( 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty and 2017 44' Keystone Fuzion)
