I came in to have dinner with my family and we asked them to make two orders of the sliced pork for my son. The supervisor Kevin was extremely unfriendly rude and told us he couldn’t that when we’ve done it for years at this location. We heard him yelling into the back to the other employees to not cook it for us, but my son doesn’t eat a full meal and only gets this side order every time we’ve came before. He pointed to his name tag and told us that if we wanted to put a claim his name is Kevin which made our whole dining experience bad. We’ve never put a review on any establishment before, but he was just very rude and should take a course on customer service.
Now the hot pot is always amazing, my favorites are thier spicy seafood and Taiwanese spicy hotpot (along with their spicy cumin lamb). But it is a very small area and waiting is very long during peak hour. It can also be very loud and packed.
I always get the Taiwanese Hot Pot and it’s absolutely delicious. Food doesn’t take too long and the staff is nice. Love this place 💕
I love boiling point and usually orders food delivery from here. However, the past two times I’ve ordered, they’ve sent me incorrect item! I order Old Time Delight Black Tea and they keep sending me Milk Tea! Please check the order details, very two different drink. You should be able to catch it with just the color of the drink!
Me and my crew visit this place at least twice a week. Out of all the hot pot places in Seattle, you can not find a place with more custom options for such a low price. Plus, service is always instant and parking is free.

Came in a couple months ago. Food was decent and portion was good. Service was meh. One thing I don’t like about this place is that their water tastes like tap water.

I ordered a side of meat and took them 15-20mins . Asking multiple times, but they kept saying is coming . We finished the pot, and then the meat came out. I'm so disappointed at their service lately.
First time trying out this place after hearing so many good reviews about it! It’s a must try if you’re into hotpot style meals. Ordered the Korean army soup with some dumpling as appetizers! Soup broth is interchangeable if you’re not the type to eat spicy.
The food here is delicious and the servings are huge! We ended up sharing one hotpot because it was our first time here, and having hot pot in Seattle. The staff there was very courteous and patient in getting our order and explaining how buying items for the hotpot works. It's a great bang for your buck, and everything needed for a hotpot is provided.
Though I haven't had the other menu items, I still highly recommend visiting Gourmet Noodle bowl, for having a hot pot get together!

saw this on Instagram and just had to try. i was surprised by how good the katsu with curry was! the beef stew broth was delicious and flavorful, salt and pepper wings was ok, pork belly buns was so good, the pork almost melts in the mouth. the strawberry milk tea was too small for the price but the one we really enjoyed the most was the Mantou. a little oily but with the flavored condensed milk dipping sauces, it was still so good. Service was pleasant, and atmosphere have a chill vibe.
As soon as I walked in, I was ignored. No hello or welcome. The staff were just messing around and play fighting. I sat myself down and thought that the staff was going to come bring me menus and ask for drinks, but I was ignored. I know they saw me because their heads looked up and they stared directly as I walked in. I waited 10 minutes to be serviced or approached but nothing. After the 10 minutes of waiting, my boyfriend had to get our own menus. Once they saw him get up and get the menu they decided to start servicing us. When he got back to the table they asked for our drinks and then I told them I would like a little more time on ordering the food to see what we would like to eat. They came back with only one drink but after that they never came back. I understand that I asked for more time, but by the time our drinks came we were ready to order. I had waited another 10 minutes before deciding enough was enough. I was getting up and leaving the money for the soda when one of the employees decided to finally approach us. I told them I was okay, thank you and just left. I have never been so badly serviced. I was super hungry and really excited to try this place out. But after that awful service, I'd rather just go someplace else. So if you do decided to come here, beware of bad customer service and a long wait time depending on your race
I visited as part of the C-ID Food Walk and got the pork buns that they were selling here. These pork buns were incredible! I hope that they're available to purchase outside of the food walk. The pork was super tasty, and the bun part was so soft.
Plenty of choices for you to choose from, hot pot, ramen, skewers, etc. We opted for hot pot, choosing the tomato hot pot and coconut curry hot pot. Both were good but on the salty side. The tomato had a rich tomato flavor with fish filets and plenty of vegetables. This is good for vegetarians. The coconut curry hot pot was a rich creamy flavor due to the coconut cream.
We went around 7 on a Wednesday night thinking it would be busy but we were the first ones in there. They weren't ideally busy at all which was surprising. 2 staff were working and were very quick to respond when we needed something.
This is a good hang out spot with friends or to take a date. Music was playing in the background and tvs playing cooking shows. Overall, great place to go if you are craving hot pot. They allay have teas as well.

Small spot with amazing soup. The classic beef handmade noodle soup is delicious and a big craving for me!! I dream about it haha. Love this place.
They renovated their dining room recently. Food is more delicious than before. I guess they have new owner.

Price - unbelievably reasonable. With all above mentioned, we ended up paying $50ish. Maybe because we are traveling from NYC? Everything seems so reasonable, except for the gas, lol.

We had just arrived in Seattle from hundreds of miles away when we stumbled upon this little delight. We were greeted and served with the utmost respect and kindness. The food here was melt-in-your-mouth amazing, and I would absolutely recommend it. A chef personally came to tell us about the cuisine and helped us get the most of the flavor profile. We had their built your own hotpot and it was such a fun experience. Also, their iced green tea was delicious. Nothing but praise for this restaurant

The food was amazing, but the service at this location is so so. If the Boiling Point in Irvine is not closed for renovation, otherwise i wouldn't drive this far to this location. Plus, one of the male waiter almost spilled the entire soup all over me, and luckily he didn't, and he didn't even say sorry or apologize, and he set the food on the table, and then he walked away. I can't wait until the location in Irvine reopens back for business.
Went on Saturday night . Not much busy seen its super hot outside . We got the Tom Yum and Sour Cabbage Lamb . Both was good and flavorful . We also get some Beef Skewer and Lamb skewer it was a bit overcooked but still tasty . Over all the services was great . Food was flavorful we will come back to try more food . Gonna try Singapore laksa next time
Ordered the new Hot Green pot at this Garden Grove location at around 11:10 AM. Meal came out with a metal coil on the beef. Should have stopped eating then but I chalked it up to an accident, then when I got to the bottom of the pot, I bit into a piece of fish that was raw in the middle.
Complained and got told by the employee that 1/ that wasn’t fish, it was tripe, the type that you often see in pho (it was 100% a fish filet, and I would know what tripe looks and tastes like, I’m Viet) and 2/ we should have let it cook for longer (it was at the bottom of the pot and the outside was cooked. This probably happened because the inside was frozen). At no point could it have possibly been their fault of course.
Resolution included for transparency: we were comped the pot (but still charged for the accompanying tea, which came with the pot for free), and 20% of the other pot (we ordered two). Is this fair for raw fish and metal coil? You be the judge.
If you want to come to this location, just know that this can happen to you to. Is this a huge health violation? Yes. Will they do anything further about it? Likely not. Just know that you assume the risk by coming here I guess.

Must haves - pan fried dumplings and the beef stew noodles. This is one of my favorite places. Danny is one of the friendliest host/owner.
Everything was really tasty! Server was really patient and made excellent recommendations. Restaurant itself has almost a cafeteria feel to it but the food ticked all the boxes. We’ll definitely become regulars. Generous Laksa bowl, custom hot pots, great drink menu and reasonable prices - we left very happy.
Normally I have no issues with the delivery or in person experience. However it's been about 3 times now in total out of the many orders I've placed that I would have a delivery issue on the restaurant's part and when I call after there is no one to pick up the call. Eventually they just cancel my repeated calls. Otherwise when I call for any other reason at different times the phone seems to be operational; almost feels intentional. I would recommend going in to eat because the food overall is amazing. In the restaurant it does feel a little cramped because of the set up even though the layout is quite spacious for a smaller location. Also depending on the day or time there can be a moderate line, with processing of wait times not being bad at all.

The premium beef noodle soup I got was a solid 2. I wanted to like the place more but there were too many factors making me dislike it. The meat offerings were alright and fair, and tripe is not always offered which was nice. However one of the tendons was still cold on the inside which was unfortunate. There were also two noodle clumps that were not separated properly, or at all during cooking which really sucked. As for the broth, I personally like things a but saltier/spicy but regardless I thought it was alright. It was not super rich, but I won't say it lacked flavor.. maybe just complexity? I also didn't find it spicy at all, but no mind I just added some more chili oil myself.

The Food: The beef noodle soup bowl consists of noodles, braised beef, vegetable leaf, and the soup contains chili oil and some other flavors. When you start off with the noodles, the texture is a good balance of not hard nor soggy. It's soft and chewy. The beef is very savory. When you bite the meat, it's soft and easily melt in your mouth. Also, the beef doesn't contain a lot of fat, which is a good thing. I like eating the meat because it gives a sweet spice aroma and it's warm.
The atmosphere is nice and quiet. You have the view of the busy street to view while enjoying your meal. Parking is available, but it's small. The restroom is outside the corner of the restraunt.

Ordered the tonkotsu ramen and I give it a 4 out of 7. The charshu is not a melt in your mouth tender and the broth is subpar. The presentation is super cute but of course we are here to enjoy our food and not watch. My husband had the laksa seafood soup and he likes it.This is a Taiwanese restaurant so I shouldn’t expect an authentic ramen . So if you are here for ramen then go to Ramen Bar Ichi or tamashi ramen.
The reason I gave only three stars for the food but an overall four-star rating is that everything looked and smelled great, the restaurant was clean and inviting, and the service was really good, but honestly the food was lacking in flavor, especially seasoning with salt. We asked for soy sauce as well as chili oil/paste as they don't have any condiments on the table, and they brought out a little teeny bowl of soy sauce that was not nearly enough. We had to ask three more times for more soy sauce and more chili oil/paste.
They recently changed name in mandarin, but it is still the same in English.

This place is LEGIT, since leaving NY 7 years ago I have been living in places where you can’t find authentic Taiwanese food. Came to Seattle to watch the Yankees and I just had to try the Taiwanese food here and it’s the bomb!!! I literally had tears in my eye when I was chowing down the braised pork rice (滷肉飯), and what really tipped me over the hill is the pig blood cake (豬血糕).. I was in heaven …

Owner is very rude and unproffesional. Restaurant is dirty. The whole vibe is just not good. You do not feel welcomed here. Food is not fresh as they describe. The food tastes like its been in the refridgerator for a couple days and they just reheat it. This place makes Taiwan look bad. Skip this place, there are plenty of other good authentic taiwanese restaurants in the 626. This place won't be open for very long with this kind of poor service.
Was lured by the sign outside saying it was the best beef noodle soup rated by some magazine. Ordered that and the braised pork over rice with egg. The beef noodle was one of the worst I've had in my life. Broth was watered down. Not even soy sauce flavor! Beef was tender but tasteless as well. Noodles were over cooked. Was just generic tasting. Maybe used to be good butt has gone down hill?

By far the stinky tofu is the dish to get. Bento box looks good but based on the lack luster drunken chicken (still frozen in the middle) and not so fresh oysters in the oyster omelette, I'd stick with the freshly fried stinky tofu which is really tasty.
(6/1/2023) Probably currently the best Beef Noodles Soup in Los Angeles Area in my opinion. (Beef with a little fatty made the noodles and soup taste more better) Owner was very nice, and recommended Pork Chop Rice also good as well. Pork Chop Rice also good because Pork Chop was already marinated in a good flavor. Pan Fried Dumplings was okay but I liked more crispy in my opinion. Recommended people come here to try for lunch or dinner because it was not expensive to try a good Beef Noodle Soup in this area, and definitely come back to try Green Onions Pamcakes, Pork Chop Feet (Owner Highly Recommend), and Beef Tendon when I nearby the area.

They were different and unique. Although I felt the calamari was a little too chewy for my liking, I did enjoy it with the sauce. Pretty authentic flavors! I especially enjoyed their pork chop rice, totally reminds me of the flavors in Taiwan. The owners are Taiwanese and they told me their parents are from Shandong, so I can imagine they must be really good at making noodles and dumplings. Will be back for more!

Came here twice recently. The beef noodle soup with handmade noodles is my go-to dish. Broth is delicious and not usually too spicy imo, beef tender with generous portion (not much fat), noodles are thick and chewy, some spinach, and cilantro plentiful. I finish a whole bowl myself.
Depending on when you go parking can be difficult to find in their small lot. Other options are street parking or parking in the plaza next door and walking over. Sometimes the lot is empty and there are plenty of spaces, while other times it is crowded. Hit or miss.

Boyfriend wanted hotpot and I wanted something soupy and we were going to get the pho around the corner but saw this place! Best kimchi we’ve ever had. Loved all the meats and flavors. Will be coming back for sure!!
My current go to spot for Taiwan Beef Noodle Soup in LA. Excellent portions and good flavor. Their recipe sits on the heavier side of the spectrum compared to other places like A&J. Always immensely filling. Check there hours before you go.
Place is really small and tight so if you don't go early, you're waiting a while. I love boiling point and always order their beef or korean bean paste and get vermicelli and rice. Yes it's a lot but so 👍. It's next to Snowy Village so I go there for dessert to balance the spice from the hotpot. I usually get medium as my spice level and add spice from their spice tray.
After we got checked in to the store, everything was good. The service was quick and great. The tofu was surprisingly delicious. Holy Cow was great as other stores I’ve been too. I’m not sure if I was just hungry but I enjoyed the House Special at this place more than other places I’ve been to. My only complaint is the waiting. We were waiting for an hour to be seated with no status update. It would have been better if we can check where we are in the waiting list so we don’t to wait in-front of the store for that long.

I don't like to waste food and my food history has some quite unpalatable dishes. I'm not sure if it was an off day or the cook was stressed out? When I went to get my food there was another party of 3 at around 2-3 pm in the afternoon. Most of the reviews kept talking about authentic taste and everything but I don't think so unless it's supposed to be this salty?

Beef noodle soup with handmade noodles is 5 stars, fantastic! The beef rolled pancakes were also top notch. The dry noodles with pork sauce was a standard lo mein, nothing too special- I'd skip these next time. Good little place, I'll be back.
Went there past noon and there was no wait for seats. Ordered the beef stew noodles (14.99) and it was served in less than 10 minutes. The portion was decent, with many pieces of beef but there could have been more noodles. A good amount of vegetables though. The broth was also not bad. It didn't feel like anything special. They also only accept cash, zelle, or venmo for payment.
Their prices are getting higher, from $2.99 before, to almost $6.00 per small plate alone. Big plates cost $8.00 now. Thank god I don't go there often anymore. For 2 people, I paid a total of $92.

Best beef stew hotpot I’ve ever had period. the flavor is balanced perfectly. Slightly spicy, not overwhelming, the hotpot is individual servings with good portion size, We were all very full. Great service, fair price, even nice bathroom, what else could you ask for. Perfect experience. Will return if I ever come back to Seattle.
The niu rou mian (Taiwanese beef noodle soup) is utterly fantastic. The broth is rich and delicious, with just the right amount of spice. The noodle portion was enormous, and the beef was melt in your mouth tender. I will definitely be going back to 88 Beef Noodle. What a wonderfully comforting meal on a cold day.

Place isn't bad but it's nothing magnificent. Jazz Kat is cheaper and better by a lot. Also the bowls are children bowls. You can't pour much soup in there.

Good deal for food and they add something to the meat that makes it addicting. Last time we were there, they were shorthanded and had to stack empty plates on other tables. Only 3 people working outside the kitchen, but they hustled.
Evaluating a restaurant based on one of their least expensive items is an interesting approach: if they can do one of the least important items well, what else to expect but excellence for the rest of their menu? This is something I tried doing at this restaurant (mostly because of the convenience; it was the one item that I would not have had to wait for 20 minutes to get for takeout), and I was proven right: I tried the Minced Pork Belly Bowl and let me tell you: that pork, although lacking in quantity, was more than enough in quality and flavor. It permeated the whole bowl and was an excellent choice. I just wish they would have put a bit more, but for the price, it was truly an amazing deal. Highly recommended place for authentic Taiwanese food! 👌
Although their pretty much famous for their beef noodle soup, I mainly come here for the popcorn chicken. The chicken itself has enough flavor that permeates the entirety and that they are big and juicy.
Another thing I enjoy coming for is the tea pig skin and the dipping sauce they have paired with it. It's just a good way to break up the flavors of the other foods when eating in between bites.

Gotta try the beef noodle soup. We had the half beef and half tendon. They give u plenty of meat. The broth was not super salty, just the right amount of flavor.
We also order the Fried Pork rice. The dish came with one bowl amount of rice which is enough, And again alot of meat. Not thin either. I just didn't like they stir fried the veggie with dried shrimp. Also some pickled radish.

Absolutely charming place with authentic home cooked style dishes. Loved everything I had. Except for the stinky tofu, which while my wife loved, I've never been a fan of the dish. Everything else was terrific, service included.
Always like small hot pot stuff but the price are not competitive with the same kind of restaurant, also the soup are definitely not something nice, and the service are just … bad. Environment are not even nice too.

Consistently good. Fresh meats and veggies you pick yourself and cook on your table. Usually no wait or short wait. Budget friendly, although prices have gone up a bit all around (every where). My wife and I frequent this place and have for years. So far so good

The individual hot pots here make it a must visit for any fans of Chinese cuisine. At this point it's one of my favorite restaurants, enough that I go nearly every week. There are many options and what you get is absolutely stuffed with ingredients. I recommend the appetizers such as spicy tofu or holy cow, and miso or beef hot pot. Just know the this is an extremely popular place in a small room, so good luck getting a table during peak hours without waiting at least an hour.
Yum, I really enjoyed the mushroom veggie soup with rice. At first, I was a bit bummed it doesn't come with spicy levels, but they have really flavorful and spicy condiments at the table to add in and dip with. I'm not sure what my mom and grandma got exactly but they really liked it and the scallion rice, too. My mom introduced me to this place & said it can be common to wait an hour to so. Luckily, we were seated right away. I like that it has quick pleasant service, delicious variety of toppings for a vegetarian like me, and the sauces! Oh, also, these wide clear noodles inside the broth (that you can ask for more) were really good! Non-disposable chopsticks were greatly appreciated! I like eating with non-plastic and non-disposable utensils. Would definitely come back!
This is a nice little ma & pa restaurant. The side dish plating is really nice when ordering the combos. The fish ball soup is really good, one of the few places that actually has fish balls that taste like fish. The minced meat in the noodle and rice is a little inconsistent, sometimes good, other times salty. The steamed fish and stinky tofu are tasty dishes as well.
Delicious! I got the lamb, BFF got the beef. Great flavor and so many yummy ingredients. Free green or black tea - I got the green tea, refreshing! Good check-in system that texts your place in line and when your table is ready. We went on a Friday at 11am and waited about 15 minutes. Place was clean and servers very attentive offering refill on the broth, wow and yum!!

This is a nice place for Beef Noodle Soup. I got their #1 House Beef Soup and the meat was tender and flavorful. Also I highly recommend the Mango Smoothie for a drink. The owner was friendly and there's free parking in lot outside.
Definitely my favorite place to get food. The concept is absolutely amazing. You only get and pay for as much as you want. Everything is self served. You literally only have to wait for them to pour the soup base in the bowl, which is usually done the moment you get sat. Sometimes certain meats run out, but evetualy there is more brought out. The prices have definitely gone up since I started coming here back in 2012. I am extremely happy this place opened back up. I hope they go back to their regular schedule soon. I always use to love coming for their lunch happy hour. It was a 20% discount on your entire bill. I can definitely say I have been here over 100 times and counting. I will always come here for as long as this place is open.

Authentic Taiwanese food! Braised pork rice and and intestine vermicelli here are legit! So good! 5 out of 5! Popcorn chicken and oyster omelette were decent, but I do wish the oysters can be more fresh. They are kind of fishy.
Been a while since I went back to Corner Beef Noodle House. They do have one of the best Taiwanese Beef Stew Noodle with generous portion of beef. The noodle is very chewy, great broth, however, I would prefer to be a little more spicier. I also ordered the Signature XO Sauce Noodle, single portion of Popcorn Chicken & Fried Red Pork, and for dessert, their Hot Mochi, consist of Peanut & Black Sesame. The popcorn chicken and fried pork are way too thick, but they still taste delicious. My wife, son and I love the mochi, big portion with lots of peanuts and black sesame, reminded me of a similar snack from Asia. As of now, the restaurant offers only take out, no dine in. And most importantly, CASH only.
Update (April 2023): 5/5 STARS, went there again and got Roti Canai, which was delicious. Got my two main dishes (see pictures), only thing that I would say wasn’t up to bar around the restaurants within the area was the sausage fried rice(felt like the rice lacked flavor, but still good 7/10). And ended it off with the mango sticky rice. Nice hearty, well cooked meals that will leave you full. All this came out to $33 with tip, like $40. Delicious whole meals and cheap for two friends.

All in all, I would give this place a solid 4 stars out of 5. Even though I enjoyed the variety of their taiwanese bento meal box, the main fried protein could be a bit crispier and more flavorful. However, I really enjoyed the small dishes included in the bento box meal set. I liked how I could mix and match various combinations to bring out unique flavor combinations where I felt as though it was a great addition to the overall meal.
In terms of the taiwanese popcorn chicken, it didn't have enough ooooompfth for my taste but based on the other reviews, I'm thinking they had an off day. Overall, it did satisfy my taiwanese popcorn chicken craving. If I was around and I was craving it again, I would definitely give it another shot to compare that second experience with my first existence
Side note, I also really appreciated how cautious and safe they were in terms of safety and sanitation practices regarding covid and how to interact with customers. I applaud their efforts to be safe during these tough times.

Takeout only and somewhat limited choices now due to pandemic. It is almost as good as sitting down but for certain things, it just can't be the same. Chinese name of restaurant changed but same owner and chef. Hope can be back for other dishes.

Some of my friends would call this place the BEST TAIWANESE FOOD out there. My wife and I always consider this place whenever we are around the area. There might be some line on the waitlist for the dinner time.
I ordered 57 orders for our bus tour from San Diego , the railroad boxes were beyond excellent. They were tasty , not oily , fresh and a great combination . Thank you Henry for your excellent service and we all enjoyed our dinner on the way home . We will order again for sure.

4.5 stars for that bowl of half tendon & half beef thin noodle in spicy soup. Flavorful without tongue numbing. Noodles stayed bouncy the whole time plus after hours after I to-go the remaining. I'm sure they cold wash the fresh noodles. Only wish it had a bit more veggies. The book Choy tasted well with the spicy soup. Definitely recommend this place. A hole in the wall kinda place. This place is a little hole in the wall, and the food is fantastic! Very authentic Taiwanese! I had the railroad combination plate B, which tasted almost exactly like the ones I had in Taiwan! My friend had the classic beef noodle soup, and the meat was tender (He let me try one). Will visit again!

First time came to this busy restaurant. My friends invited me and they know what's good there! The food tastes good, prices are moderate and friendly customer service. The downside is the waiting time is ridiculous and very hard to find parking in there! Suggestion: find parking on the small streets around the area!
My 1st visit here happened on a raining Saturday evening. My food, curiously enough, reflected the weather outside. A bit rushed, a bit soggy overall. Popcorn chicken was damp. Not enough batter. Beef noodle soup is fine. Preserved mustard with pork noodle has a nice shallot oil soup base. Oyster pancake has generous amount of oysters and vegetables but like rest of our food, tasted a little bit rushed. Hoping to revise this average r with a better one on my next visit.
