Williams Professional Painting is amazing! They are easily the best contractor we've ever worked with! They just completed a month-long project at our home that involved painting most of the interior of our house and our patio, as well as a wide range of carpentry work and repairs. From beginning to end, it was a first-rate experience. Our first contact was with Yanize, who came to our home to discuss the job with me. She was very knowledgeable, personable, accurate, and kind and gave us a quote very soon after the meeting. She then set us up with an excellent crew, led by foreman Arturo. Arturo was the absolute best foreman we could have asked for. He is very very skilled, has amazing attention to detail, is a great communicator, and could not be nicer to work with. I had many questions and some changes throughout the project and he worked with me on every single thing until I was satisfied. He also kept the project on track and it finished the exact day he said it would. His crew was first-rate and they work they did is outstanding. We also worked with their very skilled carpenter Gustavo, who refurbished an exterior door for us, updated all our interior door hardware, and re-secured our wobbly bannister. Gustavo is like a magician - his work is so good you can't even see how he did it. He is also really kind and great communicator. In addition to this excellent team, I interacted with the company's president Rick Williams and was really impressed by him and how genuinely important it was to him that we were happy with the quality work and the outcome of the project. It was incredibly refreshing to work with a company that cares so much and delivers on each promise they make. Williams Professional Painting did that for us. We'll always be grateful to them - and definitely hire them again.

Williams Professional Painting lives up to it's name. I've used them for both interior but mostly exterior painting. They are highly professional, businesslike but personable, do a quality job on time/schedule and deliver what is contracted for. They are not the lowest bidder, but the end result is excellent. I highly recommend them for customers like me who want to have confidence in a job well done.

I have used Williams twice for exterior painting and repair of trim on a brick house . The first time I think they did a good job. The second time things did not go as well.

First, it was a huge pain to get them to complete the job. The painters left without painting a dormer even though this was part of the contract. When I raised the issue, Williams claimed that it was too hard to access and it didn’t need painting anyway. They offered me an extremely small discount which would not have been close to enough to hire someone else to paint the dormer. When I pointed out that they agreed to paint the dormer in the original proposal, they then agreed to come back to do it.

A better contractor would have either identified the issue upfront or done the work as agreed without this unnecessary back and forth.

Second, some of the trim repairs have failed after less than 3 years. I don’t know why these repairs have failed, but it looks as though they were not properly sealed. So while the paint has held up, the trim that was repaired is in very bad shape and will need to be repaired again, with the trim repainted.

Third, they failed to paint the door the correct color, which required me to repaint it myself. When I pointed this out to them, they said they got the wrong color paint and they used what they had. This is the sort of excuse I would not accept from a DIYer let alone a professional painter charging premium prices.

All in all, I don’t think Williams’ work is up to the price it charges. It isn’t terrible by any means, but it is also isn’t great. You will need to watch over what they do, and some of the work will be subpar.

Had to post re the astronomical estimate they gave us to paint a few cabinets. I'm sure this company does great work, but we were able to get an estimate from other companies in Alexandria, also with 5 star reviews and 100+ reviews, for a fraction of a cost -- over 75% less! If you have money to spare, I'm sure they do a great job. But for the average person the cost is highway robbery. It would actually be cheaper to buy entirely new cabinets given their estimate!

The process of building a home can be quite complicated and stressful. I am extremely thankful I was able to meet Miguel to help me with the construction of my home. He guided me through the construction process and gave guidance on what needed to be changed so the outcome will always be better than expected. You can tell that he has been doing this for many years, lots of experience and vision. Thank you MV Contractors!

We knew Miguel was the right fit for our project from our first meeting. From that point all the way through our final inspection and even coming back to touch up finishes, he brought great positive energy to the effort. That combined with solid quality workmanship and the best customer service I can remember led to a great overall experience. We stayed in our home the whole time and they built our addition around us. He and his crew took the time to make sure that we were safe and comfortable the whole time – accommodating me, my wife, our kids and our elderly dog. We’re looking forward to having MV Contractors back to help us with more of our projects and highly recommend that you talk to them about yours.

2020 had a fire in my house lost almost the complete house. It was just when we faced the horrible pandemic so my panic was at the highest level- contacted Miguel from MVCONTRACTORS and his response was how is everyone doing ,is everyone safe. And he said I’m my way now to see the damage. That showed me how much he care about his clients. After so many back in fort with my insurance company I hired him do the job because I new since they one he was the right for it. In less than a year he finished the construction from bottom to top. Like promised he game the keys the day he finished. Me and my family can’t be more grateful

This is our second time to use Williams Professional Painting and once again we are thrilled - 5+ stars!!!

We are in the midst of finishing our unfinished basement into a "bonus room" with a kitchenette and WPP has done our sheetrock installation, durock installation in the bathroom shower stall, hung our doors, door and window trim, and painted.

They will be coming back to install our trim and do a final touch up once the bathroom, flooring and kitchen cabinets are in.

Gustavo and his crew are awesome! They arrive on time, get the job done correctly and efficiently and they clean up before they leave.

Rick and his team of employees are the best!

The process went extremely well. Pressure washing only took half a day. A few days later, a painting crew completed all the work in three days.

I was very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and communication by this company. Several times I was told that George Tsentas, who is apparently the company president, would call me back. He never did. Instead I just got a short email basically saying he was too busy. Unprofessional.

I contacted this service to inquire about the services they offered I was greeted by a rude gentleman that would not listen to my inquiry and berated me as I tried to clarify that I was a potential customer and not a solicitor.

Williams Professional Painting exceeded expectations... again! This is the third time we have used them for work in our offices and two office remodeling jobs. We just completed remodeling our Woodbridge office where they framed new door openings, new counter openings, demolition, repaired entire walls from equipment being removed. Their team was in there with halogen lights to make sure their drywall finishing had no imperfections. They worked through the weekend, evenings and early mornings to make sure we hit our target opening date, which was only a two (2) week window. Anytime we asked them to do something, their answer was "No Problem." We highly recommend Williams Professional Painting for your next painting, drywall or renovation!

I serve on the Board of a 75-unit condominium in Washington, DC which was in need of modernization. The building, approaching 20 years old, had dark lighting, dated furniture, and damaged walls throughout. We secured a number of quotes from firms that promised to provide an attractive refresh of the property's common areas, but ultimately selected Williams Professional Painting for their excellent communication and pledge to work within our budget limitations. Throughout the multi-month renovation, Rick and his team provided regular status updates and went above and beyond to share updates with the community so they knew when certain areas would close. The Williams team is incredibly detail-oriented, ensuring that all work was inspected by the foreman and proactively touched-up as needed. Although the company calls itself a "painting" company, the Williams team did SO much more for our building, including re-building outdoor PVC fencing that needed to be replaced, constructing custom gym cubbies, installing modern lighting, replacing roof tiles in the gym, creating a custom wall protection system, and renovating a bathroom. Williams Professional Painting is now our go-to for all building-related improvement projects and we highly recommend them to any commercial building that values quality and a commitment to staying on-budget.

Williams Professional Painting is great! The staff are all very nice and communicative from the scheduling to the painting to the followup. I needed drywall repair for several old anchor holes and a couple brackets that had punched through the wall.

They sent one of their foremen, Bryan. First, he was so courteous, wearing a mask and putting on his shoe covers. He of course covered my floor/furniture and taped off my hanging items that I didn’t want to remove. He did a great job! The wall looks brand new and he even worked with the paint that I had. I unfortunately didn’t have enough, but he quickly went and purchased more of the same, no problem.

I tend to be a little wary of people working on my house, but Bryan was so friendly and made sure I understood how he was going complete the project. Natalie was also great with scheduling. All around a positive experience! I’ll definitely be choosing them for my next project.

Scheduled an appointment to get an estimate for work to be done. Waited an hour but the contractor never showed. Texted and emailed afterwards to see the reason for no show, but never got a response. Was pretty disappointed because over the phone Miguel was super professional; but to not show up and even reach out left me immediately looking for another contractor.

It all seems like a scam and I think these reviews are fake. When you call, you get India. They sent some guys out to measure the rooms and it took them over a month to call with a ridiculous quote.

Hugh's team showed up same-day and did a phenomenal job painting my bedroom. I found the prices to be very fair. I had one paint can that I thought would get the job done but the room needed several coats and we ran out of paint mid-way. They drove to HomeDepot with me, helped me find matching paint and finished the job. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Very grateful! Would definitely recommend.

Hugh was a pleasure to work with. I was nine months pregnant when I needed to move into my new apartment with in a few weeks and they got the work done in under two. He was so helpful and made sure to make me a priority. They turned an apartment that wasn’t renovated in over 60 years into my dream home. Three bedrooms, living room, dining room, two bathrooms and part of the kitchen needed to be painted and fixed up because the walls were just a complete disaster and he was able to finish with in two weeks. I would not hesitate to use him again and to refer him to anyone!!

the leader and his team came in and quoted me a much lower price for painting all the pipes in our loft. I was hesitant at first based on this, but after the first day, I knew these guys were real pros. I'm blown away by how amazing our place looks now - in fact, I had him paint and accent wall and my pillars while he was there because of how well the pipes came out. Recommend 100x over.

Liberty Painting painted my company's new office yesterday and I am so happy with the entire experience:

Luis and his team (Antonio and Manuel) were on-time, extremely courteous, meticulous, and super fast. They took special care to protect the carpet (they even took their shoes off!) and other surfaces, and cleaned up like they were never there.

Liberty offered me the lowest price of any "highly-rated" painting company in the Arlington area, and they did a fantastic job. I don't see one thing wrong with the paint job.

Luis was quite responsive via my emails, and flexible with his scheduling. He didn't require to see the property prior to painting (which other companies do, and it was a bit of an inconvenience for me) yet did the job no problem.

Also, Luis got the correct paint colors for us (5 gallons total of different colors) and it was only $100.

I will absolutely have Liberty Painting for all my personal jobs, and recommend them to anyone who asks. You will not regret going with Liberty!!
