Love, they keep up the nice new, friendly bench area walking over the dunes. Parking is dismal. Great access, but the beach area can get cramped with the season.

I was going to N. Myrtle Beach to visit my daughter and was bringing my dog, and we want a place to be outside on a beautiful day. This was a nice park with a path around a pond to walk the dog. Play area for kids and a ball field. There were covered and uncovered picnic areas. There were some built-in charcoal grills. There was Johnny on the spots and hand washing stations as well.
Unfortunately, I tried calling prior to make sure they would be open when I arrived, but the phone was disconnected. I took an Uber only to get there, and the door was locked where you purchase tickets to go into the village. I arrived at 335 pm with a friend and was sadly disappointed seeing the hours were stated open until 4 . I always look for gems like this to visit. I was able to get pictures outside the fenced area but could not go in. Ruined my expectations. I'm sure I would've really enjoyed it and it wouldn't have taken us more than 30 minutes to enjoy it.

We spent some time out here on Saturday and the whole family had a blast. There is a nice playground on the premises and tons of trails. The Nature Center has a lot of interactive activities and the bird watching was so fun. We will definitely be back again.
Great place to walk. It's really close to some apartments, but it really won't matter in the end. It's not a very crowded place, so it's great with your family. The playground is actually really great here as well. I recommend this place for sure.
We love this museum! It's a great place to spend a few hours imagining what life was like in the past.

Super cool little park!!! They have a pond for starts, with two fountains in the middle of it, a pathway to walk all the way around it, a gazebo that goes out into the water, and TWO full playgrounds for the kiddos!!! One older plastic more basic playground for the little ones, and one newer more modern obstacle course like playground for the bigger kids! I’ve never seen anything like it! Our son loved it there! He enjoyed riding his scooter all around the park the day we visited. Great place to take your family for a sunny day picnic! 😁😁👍👍

We wanted to do something different instead of going to a sit down restaurant like we do every holiday season. My wife said someone she knows had a great time so we booked a cabana. We had an amazing time! Food was good, hot cocoa was good and there's a bar if you're needing something warmer. They provide blankets but dress for the outdoors and bring thicker blankets if needed. Next time we'll bring a foldable table as table space is lacking. Overall, we had a wonderful family night.

Great place for a walk, you can visit some tanks that are displayed outside the 1st Division museum. The entrance is free in the museum. There is a picnic area and a playground for kids. Beautiful flower garden in spring and summer and a lot of events during the entire year. You are only paying for the parking fee, read is free to visit.
Those outlets don't work!

Pretty area, nature center a little misleading advertising being free when the only part worth seeing inside cost $10+/person and what was free was not worth the drive,(just a few small reptiles behind glass is pretty much all that they have in the free section), trails by nature center were underwhelming, but more trails around the park area, playground at the park area was smaller but had some nice features that made it fun and interesting.

Very clean very cute nice tucked away yet findable , had a very peaceful time exploring ,
I like the woodsy feel of the play ground
McLean Park is kinda small and parking is limited but it’s still in a beautiful area! They also have a lake in the park and a couple of playgrounds. Not my favorite park in North Myrtle Beach but it’s a nice place to visit.

Cantigny Christmas lights were amazing! Was worth the price of $10 parking and $15 admission. It was such a delight to see all the indoor and outdoor festive decorations. Was able to grab a nice cup of hot chocolate and walk the path at my own pace for as long as I wanted. Absolutely adored the McCormick house with all its history and charm!

We went in December 2023 for their first light show and opening of the ice rink. It was amazing. It took about 15 minutes to walk up to the house and 15 minutes to walk back. The walk through the lit up gardens was beautiful. They had fires and sitting areas throughout and a few different cocoa centers. The house took about 10 minutes to walk through. At the end was a little specialty gift shop and another, larger cocoa center.

They probably should have had a bit of extra staff to help with in take at the skating rink, but other than that it was a smooth, just a bit slow process. For rink use and skates it was $10/person and for the light show it was $15/person. My family enjoyed our evening from 4:30pm to just shy of 8pm.

Definitely would like to go again next year.
Very nice little park. A lot of people were there enjoying the water and trails.
I took my kindergarten class on a field trip. They enjoyed the experience and were able to see what life was like a long time ago. My favorite was the school house
A great place for picnics or just enjoying the sunshine 🌞
We had a great time at the Pioneer Day, staff was friendly and very knowledgeable

I love this place. It is one my favorite places to go and walk and take the kids. The park is clean, well maintained and safe.
There are some homeless folks that are there at times, but they don't bother anyone.
Just like at any public park, one takes the usual precautions.
Lots of people come here to walk their dogs. Lots of locals and kids.
Tennis courts, picnic tables, baseball field.

This place is beautiful and great to go to with family. There are playgrounds and trails for bikes and walking. My family of three walks about 6 miles everytime we go here and it's a great way to get in some walking while being surrounded by trees and water.

Love my North Myrtle Beach Park, so well taken care of. Feel safe in this secret little gem ❤️
Great quiet area. Really nice rental properties. Some establishments in the area may not be open to diverse groups. But you can usually tell which places are not friendly to all.
Beautiful

Nice little playground. It seems like it's meant to be walked to, not driven, as there is only one place to park with only 4 spots and they're a short walk through a wooded area to get from the parking to the actual park. But a very nice playground, once you get there. :)

This is such a magical place! My family and I have attended Christmas, Fall, Summer and Spring events here and always had a spectacular time. Having just attended several of their summer series events with my family, there is simply is no other way to describe it, other than to say that it is an extremely special place. The care and attention to detail, the stunning gardens and warmth of the staff make it all quite captivating! We can’t wait to go back again and again!

The OC parks have a free concert series that starts in June and goes through August and visits at least six different parks. I've seen Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at this pavilion 3 times, and twice at Mile Square Park. This year it was the "Sweet and Tender Hooligans" performing. They are a very good Smiths and Morrissey tribute band.

First the bad, the bathrooms lack AC and hand soap. One toilet was out of order in the Men's bathroom. There isn't a water fountain. Now the good, there are tons of trees for shade (after 6) and a concrete path. The kids loved climbing all over everything. There are two playground areas with a nice bouncy surface. There are lots of places to sit and to throw away your trash. There's a pond, a ball field, several places to eat and grill. Parking is ample.

Great neighborhood park with 2 playgrounds, an older playground for younger kids and a newer playground with jungle gyms for older kids. Nice gazebo on a pond with turtles and fish. Nice shaded shelter for picnics and barbecuing. The restrooms were dirty and had no soap but it is nice that they have them. Dogs in the park on leashes were around.
Besides a small bee sting (due to running beside some honeysuckle bushes), we had a great time! The kids loved getting a look into the past and it was a good teaching opportunity (we homeschooled this year). The gift shop is cute and actually affordable. The girl who helped us was very friendly and kind.

Not sure how it is now due to the fact that I moved, but when I was a kid this was one of my favorite playgrounds. I used to call it the pink playground. But now I notice the colors are different:( sad.

It's fairly clean and big portapotties with plenty of trash cans for garbage and recycling.
Our visit was nice and peaceful the kids enjoyed the playground we brought a small grill and barbecued while playing a couple rounds of horseshoes. They have two horseshoe pits nice shaded area over the playground. The kids really enjoyed that overall. Had a really great day

This is a small neighborhood park that includes a basketball court, playground with climbing frame, swing set and a picnic area. The public restroom was surprisingly clean.

The park is only 1.5 acres but it has a dedicated parking area on the street around the corner. Signs are posted that street parking on Windy Hill Road is not permitted.

The park includes a marker "This park is dedicated to Coach Yow, who in 1950, formed a youth camp that gave the children of North Myrtle Beach organized activities when none had existed. His example, dedication and love taught our children the values and citizenship for which he is remembered. Dedicated August 1984. North Myrtle Beach Mayor and City Council."
What a super fun/nostalgic place to visit -it was not a planned visit. We found it on Google maps and are so happy we did. I absolutely love the rocking chairs located inside the screened-in porches. The decorations were on point. The chickens and goats made my day. I truly wish life was still peaceful and relaxing like it felt today on our visit here. Such a cute school room and general store. Only $8 to get in & there is a nice little gift shop.
Beautiful park...great for outings..
nice play area for kid entertainment.

Large picnic area in Ted Craig Park, also know as Ted Craig Shelter. You can pay a fee a reserve the shelter for you and your guests. The shelter is located close to the ranger station near the front entrance to the park.
This part of North Myrtle Beach is family friendly and has enough entertainment to be enjoyed by all ages. Beach, bands, shopping, establishments, eating, coffee, putt-putt and more... even a neighborhood feel if you drive around.
Walk, drive, bike, mophead or get yourself a golf cart. Enjoy....
Good park kids love it but noticed some broken glass not on playground itself but in Grass by trees and one of the spinning things was broken wit a metal screw poking out where I assume a wheel once was

One of the best biking cycling paved trails in Colorado. Absolutely beautiful scenic bike ride. You can start at Glenwood springs, go through here and ride on the trail for another 13 miles to various other rest stops.

The structures are pretty cool (they have a wedding thing that my kids love to climb), but there was trash everywhere. The splash park is pretty small, too. If you live around here, go to the splash park at MacDonald park instead.
Beautiful worth checking out can walk from downtown or drive to no-name one exit down 70 and park

What a treat! This is a very short hike that takes you away from the highway for a bit. Has a great picnic table by the water and some nice bighorn sheep the day we walked there. Will do it again! You can even start your hike from town and make it a two miler, or park near the No Name rest area.

Neat playground. We noticed several broken things though. Also we're quite a few unsupervised or under-supervised kids here. Curse words graffitied on equipment and picnic tables. Basketball court, small pavilion, and a handful of benches are also available. Not our favorite playground but it's good for a shorter playground trip.

Needed a place to take the kids to blow off a little steam. This is a great park offering swings, a picnic area, grill, and two large play sets. It's also completely shaded which made it all the better. Lastly, there is a basketball court. We were also the only ones there which made it even better! Would recommend to anyone.

This place is so cool! The scenery is absolutely beautiful. There are a couple covered picinic areas with picinic tables, grilling areas, fire pits, and garbage recepticles. It's usually pretty quiet over there too. It would definitely be an excellent spot to have people over to hang out for a day.
Great beach, dog-friendly before 9a and after 5p. Clean and not overcrowded.

This place is about halfway between the hot springs and the no name exit ~1 mile from either end. Only accessible by walking or biking. Great little picnic area right next to the river. Need to pack out trash. I would recommend coming from the No Name side to avoid walking on the mountain side of the expressway.
This is our favorite beach spot!!! Easy parking this time of year! Plenty of wide beach for playing and even saw a pot bellied pig today!! The IGA here has some great food and treasures!!!
