I purchased a drawing from a London gallery through Artsy's "Make Offer" e-commerce option. The work came framed, in perfect condition, and I got a very fair price. The buying process was seamless, from making an offer and selecting a shipping option to chatting with the gallery online. My work arrived in New York just over a week later! The gallery now stays in touch with me to let me know about their new shows they think I'll like. Super happy with my experience.

I've ordered artworks from Artsy several times, and each time the experience has been seamless and enjoyable. All the artists and dealers I've interacted with have been very nice.

Great experience bidding and winning an artwork in a benefit auction! Couldn't believe I found the artwork and how easy the experience was, on top of helping a great cause.

Artplacer is very useful. After years of using Photoshop skills and measurement guesswork, I now have a quick method of properly sizing my paintings and prints within staging photos for the web. The library of walls and rooms is great. I plan to use it more and more this year.

Artplacer is one of the best tools I can use to sell my art. The website/app is very easy to use, has a ton of features and even lets you showcase your art in virtual galleries. There are also large number of virtual rooms to show paintings, many with features such as customizing the paint color of the background walls, and also oblique views for more realistic mock-ups. Several level plans to choose from, each with much elevated features and well priced, much more sophisticated than other art apps. Thank you for giving us artists all these great options :)

Art Placer is the best thing I have incorporated into my business! I have been using it for a couple of years and I love it so much. It is so user friendly and gives my art such a professional look with an incredible variety of backgrounds. Their technology is constantly improving and evolving with artists needs it is 100% the best subscription I have for my art career.

ArtPlacer has been a great way to show my artwork as it would appear in a variety of settings. Clients can even send a picture of the room where they would like a piece of art, and I can send them photos of how a piece would look in their room. I would recommend ArtPlacer to artists and photographers and other creatives.

ArtPlacer has been a great resource. It allows me to put my paintings in curated spaces which lets Art Advisors and Collectors see the scale and color in a virtual room. Working as a professional artist I find the App to be easy to navigate with new virtual rooms being added all the time. There is also a variety of virtual exhibition spaces to create on line art shows. It helps very much when a collector cannot make a studio visit due to distance, giving them the best chance to see the work while they are making the decision to purchase.

Website is very easy to use. there are so many different layouts to display/sell your art. Whether you decide to show your art in a frame, or "customize" the wall color the ...opportunities are endless. Match your artwork within the various backgrounds or present with a vivid contrast...presentation is always professional.
Did 3 rounds of interviews for the San Bernardino Job Corps location. The manager talked about how she was being ghosted by other applicants and how she thought that was very unprofessional. Then I was ghosted for weeks after. I followed up with a courtesy e-mail and was ghosted for another 3 weeks or so...

As the owner of a brand new fine art photography gallery on Cape Cod, I can say that without a doubt ArtPlacer has played a major role in our very successful first two years of business. We use the online ArtPlacer widget in nearly every one of our sales. This happens both in the gallery at the point of sale and also through the sending of renderings with potential customers. Frequently customers use the ArtPlacer widget on their own through our website. In all cases, we constantly hear about how important the renderings are to our customers, and how easy the ArtPlacer widget is to use. Whenever we have had questions or suggestions, the ArtPlacer team has been extremely responsive, including online Zoom sessions where we have collaborated closely and received very helpful suggestions. Thanks to the entire ArtPlacer team for supporting us in such an important way, and we are excited about even more growth in the future!

If I could give zero stars, I would do that. I have been using ArtPlacer for about 6 months. Until today, it has worked fine but it is very overpriced for what it is. The website widget integrations sound good but are unnecessary. Of the 2,000 Library Room settings, there are 20 or 30 that are cool and well designed, the rest are garbage. Now, tonight, I cannot download room settings that I have populated with my art. I have tried several iterations to try to make it work. Nothing. So I have wasted 3 hours with no results. Very annoyed and disappointed. When it works, it is OK but overpriced. When it does not work, it is just a rip off.

Buying fine art at Artsy can be quite risky, especially since the CEO has zero art experience and allows obvious second rate dealers to market counterfeit art.

With a staff of over 300, unbelievably Artsy has zero protocols in place to stop counterfeits.

I don't know why anyone in this day and age would risk buying art in their so called online auctions which feature material that is not vetted, not seen, and if you do have a problem, lots of luck getting someone who is knowledgable to answer you. There is no one to call. No specialist in charge. Nothing. And worse, the Artsy buyer has no protection.

If you have a problem at amazon, you can get it solved.

If you have a problem at Artsy, like the art doesn't ever come, you have no ability to get it solved and dealt with.

Read the reviews at Trustpilot for more.

Artsy is a disaster just waiting to happen and sadly the new CEO would not know good art from bad art if he saw it, and what's even worse, he has not had the foresight to employ anyone with a fine art background, NONE.

It is embarrassing and probably the reason why over 700 galleries have left Artsy under the CEO's tenure. In 2016 Artsy had over4000 galleries, and now less than 3300.

Hi there. Thank you for your reply. The reason for my 1 star review is this one:

I was in the application process for an SDR position at Upstack. I had 2 interviews and I was told that I will move forward in the application process. This was apparently also through the assignments I prepared for each interviews, which took me approximately 4 hours in total (One assignment was to find 3 potential prospects and explain why they would be interesting for Upstack and create a body of an email I would send to those prospects). In addition to that I was asked very detailed questions about business practices in a certain country and if it would be interesting for Upstack to enter that country. Now that was more than 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard a single word from the responsible people. So what I feel is that I wasted my time with this application process and the results of my assignments got used for Upstack purposes without appreciating my time.
The reasons why I post this here is for other applicants to see and be aware what could happen before they spend hours with those assignments they might potentially get.
I hope the responsible people at Upstack will change their behaviour towards future applicants, so this doesn't happen to other people than myself.
All the best
Patrick

I've been waiting weeks for my artwork and can't get a refund. Be aware that if your artwork is lost you're on your own. There's better places to buy artwork online than these guys.

I had a really bad experience with these guys. I ordered a print 2 months ago and it never showed up. They refuse to give me a refund and I have at least 20 emails back and forth with them. Avoid, especially if shipping to overseas.

Lousy place to work. The space where I worked was always freezing cold and the office manager swore there was nothing wrong. People were not pleasant. Lots of gossip. Someone doesn't know how to flush a toilet. No one kept the kitchen clean. It's like working with kindergartners. Maybe the people on different floors were better but my floor was lousy.

A mature company with very fun and humane culture, celebrates all major holidays, even has a take your kids to work day for each year. Plenty of PTOs and "gifted" holidays each year, can always WFH when necessary, plus it compensates decently, the overall work life balance is excellent. Departments are running in an organic way. People are smart.

Yet still something can be improved are there:
- It starts to behave like a BIG company, react relatively slowly because processes are a bit too much and many people are involved in making decisions.
- Has to tolerate less in tech debts and being more aggressive in rebuilding existing systems if it wants to be among the best tech companies in the world.
