Really good spooky tour run by Wolfy. The stories were really well explained, and he was animated. He gave us over 2 hours, which was much appreciated
We also got to stop off at Laffittes blacksmith bar, the oldest in the usa

Had a great time on the Greenwich Village tour with Lara. A good mixture of history and food! The locations we stopped at were not very typical but the food was delicious! Lara was a great guide and my guest and I really enjoyed ourselves. If you’re looking for great food and a day in nyc, definitely take one of these tours.

Fun food and history. Our guide Morgan was great. We love the food. So delicious and the beautiful views from High Line were amazing! Definitely recommend this tour. We might bring our husbands back and do it again!
I'd like to be there.
Thanks Circle Line for showing amazing NYC views! I would highly recommend this tour!
The tour guide had amazing energy and did a fabulous job for describing history of the nyc landmarks!! They had a technical difficulties with microphone, which was addressed quickly and tour guide made sure to cover and miss out on important city history! Overall very impressed!
The cruise itself was on a beautiful night.
However...incredibly pricey. We were kind of shocked. Dinner cruise on a Saturday (non-fireworks because they were over for the season) was roughly $180/adult. Buffet ran out fairly quickly, so pile it up your first pass through. Because there may not be any left of that favorite item if you try to go back. Drinks were not included.
My cousins ordered cocktails. I stick with bottled drinks when the bartending skills are unknown. So, I ordered a bottle of wine.
Each of them hated their cocktails. So, they all drank my wine. I had to order another bottle.
Two bottles of wine + tax/grat cost me another $167.
So - for just me alone (given I paid for the wine), cost me $347.
One of my cousins paid for the cocktails they didn't drink. I have no clue what his bill was.
I will also say, I swung by the bar later and ordered a Bulleit Bourbon on the rocks. Said "excuse me" to the bartender 3-times because he was glued to his phone texting (yes - behind the bar).
The bourbon was perhaps all of a 1 - 1-1/2 ounce pour and cost $17.
So, make that $347 - $364 instead 😒
Walter was an amazing guide! He had a wide breadth of historical knowledge and his sense of humour made the experience even better. The food was also delicious! From tacos, to pizza, and so many sweet treats in between. Would definitely recommend this tour to others.
Great cruise and an incredible, beautiful, and breathtaking view! My partner and I took our cruise aboard the Spirit of Chicago, and the entire cruise was an absolutely unforgettable night. I highly recommend taking your partner on this cruise with the added romance package. Also they where very transgender friendly!!!
The cruise in itself is fairly relaxing and not that interesting in itself. We got our tickets with a pass and made reservation at the pier the day before sailing.

If you can get a good seat you'll enjoy yourself throughout.
I'd recommend coming and queuing up probably at least an hour before the sailing, as we came 40min before and were quite far back in the queue, struggling to find a seat on the top deck outside. Best is probably either side on top so your view isn't obscured by anyone.

We ended up sitting in 2nd row from the front of top deck, towards the centre of the ship which didn't seem ideal, but protected us from the winds later on. Most people behind us left to hide downstairs by the middle point of cruise since they came unprepared and got cold.

What really made the cruise stand out as interesting was the tour guide - David. He shared his knowledge of the history of various points along the cruise, making some funny remarks here and there. And it also helped that he kept reminding people not to constantly stand at the railings and back of the ship, so that others can enjoy the views too.
Honestly if it wasn't for him, it'd be a 3star rating at best and if the seating and boarding experience was a bit better it could easily be 5 stars.
I recently had the pleasure of taking part in the "Landmark Cruise" operated by Circle Line in New York. This 90-minute tour was included in my New York Pass, making it a fantastic value.

The experience was enjoyable from the start. The boat departed on time, and the weather was perfect, adding to the charm of the trip. What made it even better was that it wasn't too crowded, allowing for a more relaxed experience.

The only drawback was that I couldn't fully hear the guide's explanations due to the wind and noise from other passengers. Nevertheless, the breathtaking views of New York City landmarks more than made up for it.

Overall, I highly recommend this cruise for both tourists and locals. It's a great way to see the city's iconic landmarks from a unique perspective.
We had such a wonderful time for our 15 year anniversary ❤️. The package came with a window sear guaranteed and a starter meal an meal and desert. We had Sam as our server made the experience sp much better. The host when around asking if anyone wanted a shout out, for us it was 15 years married they announced it and people cheered us on 🍾🎊. The view was perfect 🥰 at around 10 30 we went to the deck there was an aritist playing soft fun music, shoetly after we saw the fire works 🎆🎇, and by 11pm we came back down stairs to the dance floor and the desert table was waiting for us. Overall I had a great experience experience, they carrie a bar, the washrooms are clean and there is a changing table for babies.
The Ghost and Vampire Tour was amazing thanks to our lovely tour guide Yahyah🐈‍⬛! One of the most memorable nights of the trip that’s for sure. Thank you for showing us the 👻
The cruise was great, food was really good. However we got the ticket for the air show and the ship went back to dock exactly when all the planes came out and the view was blocked by the dock buildings. 30 min later docking would have made it perfect, especially since the tickets were specifically priced higher for the air show!
I did the Harbour Light Cruise at 7pm.
Good attraction to cruise around NYC.
The whole journey was about 1.5 hrs.

What surprised me was the staff who actually introduced all the buildings and bridges thru the microphone. I didn’t expect that at all.

The snack bar price was not too bad comparable to nyc standard.

Nice ride. I enjoyed it.
Just came back from an excellent trip with Henry. We was very good at building up a story and would definitely recommend him. We were lucky to have a smaller group. He really made the trip.
I really enjoyed this cruise and so did the 20 people I brought. Everyone was surprised with how good the food was. Staff was great and the views were top notch! You can go on the top deck with drinks and nice outdoor furniture to enjoy the views. They do have a dance floor and DJ on 1st floors

Lots to eat… the best pizza! Justin our guide was very friendly, kind & knowledgeable. You eat for 90 minutes! Yummy yummy in my tummy. It’s worth the trip. Enjoy 😉
Price is steep but certainly worth it if you go at the right time. Thus is the architecture cruise which is 90 mins and goes through town on the river. It doesn't go out to the lake. Please keep in mind that there is a tour guide speaking the entire time explaining the different buildings and their history. Very informative!!

I took my daughters- 16 and 12 during a mom/daughter NYC weekend. We had Justin and he was AMAZING!! I’ve done many walking food tours in many cities and this was by far the best ever! His knowledge was amazing. He was a great storyteller and kept our attention the whole time. It was well organized and efficient. The food was awesome, we left stuffed and loved the high line walking tour portion was after the food so we had a chance to walk some of it off ;)
Would DEFINITELY recommend!!! Thank you for an awesome experience Justin and company!

Chelsea High line tour was absolutely perfect. In the city with friends and we all walked away with the “food tour” bug. Great combination of foods to sample intermixed with historical perspective on the area, architecture and industry through the years. Our guide was certainly knowledgeable, but he was thoughtful with serving us and gave us just the right amount of information….didn’t over talk. Would highly recommend!!
Our tour guide Kendall was very knowledgeable and informative through the entirety of the tour. Kendall is a survivor of hurricane Katrina and a true hospitable NOLA local. He also somehow maintained professionalism through all the noise from the drunk idiots on our bus. I enjoyed the tour a lot. Thanks again!
I joined the tour last June with tour guide Luke, who was an absolute blast! The tour was not only interesting but also gave us fascinating behind-the-scenes information about our favorite superheroes. Luke's energy and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable; he was fun, engaging, and knowledgeable. If you love superheroes, this tour is a must-do in New York! 🗽🦸‍♂️
We did the ghost and vampire tour with YahYah Universe AKA the Black Cat. She make the tour 100% more enjoyable. She was fun, informative, and the best tour guide one can ask for! She also provided amazing recommendations for food and drinks. We really enjoyed hearing about the ghostly history of New Orleans.
Nika did a fantastic job! We absolutely loved our tour! I was worried about having a guide that was hard to hear or understand, but she was loud and clear, making the tour easy to enjoy. She was very knowledgeable, personable, and funny. Thank you for the amazing experience!!!

Had a fantastic tour today of Chelsea with Lara-her upbeat energy was infectious. I'd gone to Chelsea a gazillion times but Lara's tour made it feel like the first time! She shared history of Chelsea market which I never knew before. Plus, all the food stops were delicious! We were definitely very full by the end. Worth every penny!
Loved our night time ghost and vampire tour with the inimitable YahYah Universe as our guide. She shared some terrifically creepy ghost and vampire stories from the French Quarter, along with other historical facts about the city in an engaging, enthusiastic and knowledgeable manner. Some of the tales left me feeling creepy long after the tour as we walked back to our hotel!

The tour starts at a bar and they offer 2 for 1 Hurricanes in a big souvenir glass. We got two and it was fruity treat that was nice to sip as we walked around the sweltering city in late June.

You walk at a fairly slow pace with several stops for about an hour before stopping at a second bar location for drink refills and bathroom breaks if you need them.

The tour takes you to some places you’ve heard of like the Ursuline Convent, The Gardette-LePretre Mansion, better known as the Sultan’s Palace, The Andrew Jackson Hotel and of course, the infamous LaLaurie Mansion of American Horror Story fame.

I posted a video but, even though no one was at the Mansion when we visited, it looks like something is moving about behind the third story windows!

It was very fun learning the real story behind these haunted locales from a talented New Orleans Native. If we had more time in the city, we’d definitely have taken other tours with this company.
My sister and I loved Malika's ghost tour! She was incredibly knowledgeable and humorous, and spoke loudly for a group of 22 people to hear. She made the tour much more entertaining than I had anticipated and I 100% recommend her for this tour! You'll learn so much about the local ghost, vampire, witch, and voodoo stories while also seeing a great deal of the french quarter. We only really had a night to spend in NOLA, so thankfully this tour was definitely not a waste of time at all and I'm so glad we did it!
Our tour guide Robyn was amazing! She was friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. My only disappointment was that I was not informed that the tour would not allow us to enter the cemeteries. Not Robyn’s fault but the agent that sold the tour for us failed to disclose that.
Me and my wife had an amazing time today with Jane. We did the French quarter walking tour, Jane was very pleasant, knowledgeable and prepared on all the kind of questions about New Orleans. The tour lasted over 2 hours and was so interesting. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!
Bobby was such a fun, interactive and informative tour guide. We booked a private tour for my Mother’s 60th birthday and we are so glad we did! This was so fun, a great mix of history and spooky tales, and a great way to see the neighborhood. Above all, it was so clear that Bobby is passionate about what we does. This was a fantastic way to kick off our celebratory weekend!

We have had three tours with French Quarter Phantoms and each of them was a wonderful and unique experience!

First, Adelai took us on a Ghost and Vampyre tour. She is an amazing story teller and had us all laughing and entertained the whole night. She handled difficult topics such as the Lalaurie mansion very respectfully and I appreciated the way she approached it and gave us all a content warning beforehand. She was also very helpful afterwards in helping us all safely navigate to our next destinations.

Next, Erin took us on a French Quarter history and Voodoo tour. She was extremely knowledgeable and fun as well, and debunked some common myths about voodoo. I appreciated gaining this perspective and learned so much!

Lastly we had a tour of the Garden District and had another wonderful tour guide, I believe her name was Stephanie, but I may be mistaken. I do know she’s from New Mexico! She was amazing as well, we learned so much about the architecture and competitiveness of living in the Garden District. She threw in some fun stories and folklore that I found very charming.

All in all we had an amazing time on all three tours and would definitely recommend! We were given/offered breaks partway through each tour, which allowed for drinks or bathroom breaks. The BOGO hurricanes are delicious and come with a fun souvenir cup.
I had a tour with Miss Jane Deau! It was my graduation trip and this was my favorite part of my trip. I am an interior Design graduate, so hearing and seeing the architecture in person was everything to me. Her history and personality really made it so much better. Thank you so much.
What an amazing time! My mom and I booked a dinner cruise on the Spirit of Chicago. I would definitely do this again. Checking in was a breeze and our table was perfect with a water view and close to the dance floor. The food WAS amazing!! I totally surprised at how good it was. The staff is so down to earth and there to make you experience great. I cannot recommend this enough!
Ship was a bit dated, but overall fun experience. The crew was very helpful, The music was good, it would have been nice if they had put furniture on the top deck so that we could enjoy the views from up there. Unfortunately there was nothing up there. The entire cruise was a good amount of time and we really enjoyed ourselves. We would certainly go back and try another one.
Malika = awesome! Her sassiness was appreciated, her knowledge of the area and history was amazing, and I now want to be her friend. Or at least have lunch over some cards. So much history and information during this tour, would definitely recommend to anyone interested in random history and creepy history. Take it at night, wear good shoes, and use the bathroom before you start!
Not very welcoming. Gentleman made it clear he didn't wish me to wear a mask
Norman took my sister and I on a 3 hour Ice Cream tour of Brooklyn. We had amazing day! Norman is upbeat, knowledgeable, and kept up with our ice cream eating abilities! Would definitely recommend!
Incredible. Tour guide Alex was amazingly funny and very knowledgeable.
Informative and amusing, a must-do for Superhero lovers.

Alex was a great tour guide, but I think he should play Miles Morales.
We did the walking Murder, Mystery Voodoo Tour with an old man (around 65+) as our guide.

This had to be the most boring tour I've ever been on. The tour guide had a dry, monotone voice that did nothing to encourage curiosity or enjoyment. His voice was so low, I could barely hear him over the ruckus of the passing cars which wasn't his fault however, he didn't stop talking while these loud cars drove by, he used his low, sad voice to try to continue the story, causing everyone to struggle to hear. At one point, he took us to a parking lot (yes, i parking lot) and told a story right in the middle, amongst cars, bright lights, and loud cars, there was no way I could enjoy myself or care what he waa saying. I couldnt believe one of the scary tour locations was on a parking lot. His lack of enthusiasm, his lack of flare, his few attempts at humor were cringe worthy. The few stories i could hear sounded interesting but coming from his mouth, it was like he was reading a social science book, written in Japanese. My husband and I decided to leave to tour early because we couldn't stand it any longer. Total waste of money and time.

I urge you! Don't do the regular walking tours. Do a cemetery tour. Carriage tour, or swamp tour. I regret it everyday that I chose this tour!
My husband and I booked the Garden District and Lafayette Cemetery tour. It was wonderful - although the Cemetery is not open to the public at the moment - it was very interesting to learn so much about it. Our tour guide Bob was fantastic - from knowing about when our city's hockey team last won the Stanley Cup to recommending lots of local things for us to do after our tour, and of course all of the information during the tour itself. Definitely recommend!
My husband and I enjoyed a lovely tour of the Garden District with Jane. The tour was informative and we learned a lot about the history of the Garden District, the style and architecture of the homes, cemetery and burial traditions, celebrity homes and some fun facts. Jane was very pleasant. She answered everyone's questions and checked in to make sure everyone was okay before we moved on. She was courteous to other guides giving tours. We will book a tour with Legendary Tours again the next time we're in New Orleans!
The man at the register yelled at a woman for wearing a mask and told her to get out. Definitely never going to book a tour through here.
Norman gave an excellent private tour of Crown Heights to my group of 9 friends. He is extremely well researched and prepared (brought a binder full of photos and news clippings to supplement his knowledge), witty and knows how to cover ground to get the most out of your 2.5 hours together! I had such a great time and would absolutely take another one of his tours! He was very communicative ahead of time and catered our tour to the audience of all New York residents. He even recommended some great lunch spots for afterward!
My wife and I spent the weekend in Greenpoint and wanted to have a walking tour of the neighborhood. Doing a Google search, I came across Norman's website and saw that he had fantastic reviews on TripAdvisor. We booked a 2.5-hour tour with him and absolutely loved it! Norman is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and... a very fast walker! We consider ourselves to be good walkers, and I have to say that at the end of the tour, I had a hard time keeping up! Part of it was due to the fact I like taking lots of pictures and I had to up my pace to not lose him! We learned tons on the tour, had a lot of fun, and got some great recommendations for restaurants and a few other places to visit. We will book a tour with Norman for Williamsburg in the near future!
Booked a cemetery guided tour. If you want to book, request Zelda, she’s the best!
Very informative.
Fun guide.
Really good experience for comic n film buffs.
Shannon was amazing! So knowledgeable about the history of the area and super entertaining! She included personal experiences too which was really excited! My group loved her and the ghost tour!

The tour was great. My wife and I had Bob as our guide. His ability to tell us the history made us genuinely intrigued and engaged, without the need of being over theatrical. It was a small group which we were thankful for and not being in a sea of people in the same tour. He has a good sense of humor, the one about a daughter was a good one. The tour was well planned and we visited a lot of historical sites. Learned a lot about things I didn't know existed, I was dumbfounded by some of the dark and spooky history of New Orleans. It was worth every penny 10/10 I would recommend.
We had Bob as our tour guide and it was the best ghost tour I have been on. I lived here three years ago and always brought visitors to the tours. Bobs tour had a touch of history as well as personal touch of witty dad jokes which we loved. I prefer the smaller group to really be able to listen and get into the history. Bob was so helpful and guided us back to the square afterward. He even let us stop midway for a bathroom/ drink break. Would recommend him over all other tours as it was cool to hear it from someone who knew the people effected by years of history, when most tour guides just retell a story from word of mouth. Thank you Bob!
Bob was our tour guide, and he was amazing! I feel like we did the perfect time (5:30pm) so it wasn't too crowded on the streets at each of the stops. He had very interesting stories and pointed out lots of neat spots. He always answered any of the questions we had and kept things interesting! I would recommend this tour 100x! For reference, it was me and my 2 kids ages 11 and 16. They both found the tour interesting as well.
Tour guide Luke gets 5 starts. Interesting even if you're not into superheros. The cancellation is NOT 48 hours, however, its 2 calendar days. This is not clear and the organization is not responsive to this. They get 2 stars.
Our group loved our Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO tour! Norman was so responsive to our group's needs and gave us a really interesting and informative tour. I lived in Brooklyn Heights for a few years and still learned so much from our two hour tour! He adjusted the tour as we needed because it was a really hot day and he kept things moving and interesting without an overload of information that some tour guides do. I highly recommend Norman for a fun and different Brooklyn tour!
Wonderful tour last night with guide Angie, and mule Sadie!! What a great team. Angie told us lots of interesting history about the French Quarter, including a few spooky stories which we loved. I was thrilled to find this carriage--a company which thankfully did NOT require a prior reservation--on Jackson Square. Angie was friendly, professional, calm, and fun. She even made us laugh a few times. Angela clearly has love for the big beautiful mule Sadie, and for New Orleans. The pretty carriage itself was easy to climb into and out, and was comfortable with cover and clear views all around from seats up high. Riding after dark was nice and cool in July. Surprising feeling of going back in time to ride along these little streets, by houses hundreds of years old, in a mule-drawn carriage with the close clip-clop of hooves. Highly recommend!!
We did a ghost/vampire/murder history tour with Patrick. This was such an AMAZING experience and we got our money’s worth. Patrick was super knowledgeable, professional, and fun to be around. We got a comprehensive tour of all of the ghost stories and Patrick was so great with our questions. We had a break in between where we go to purchase drinks and use the bathroom. Patrick was animated, funny, and also made sure to check if we could hear his information at all times. The tour was also very personal with only 14 people which made it really easy to follow and gather around. Such a great experience and i recommend it!
This tour was so rich with history; and the antebellum mansions (some of which are now celebrity homes) were absolutely breath-taking! I loved being immersed into the culture of this historic city; hearing the stories, and seeing the elaborate architecture. Ending the tour at the Lafayette Cemetery, where "Interview with a Vampire," was filmed was the icing on the cake! The mausoleums are eerily beautiful; and just wait until you hear about the "year and one day rule" for the "burial" of people inside the tomb....now I have to go on the ghost tour to hear more LOL!!!!
Ray's customer service was AMMMMAAAZING! Gave us an amazing deal! He was so patient and gave us a lot of little jewels to visit in the city! Thank you for your amazing energy!
Ray is fantastic ! He's extremely informative and friendly. Definately coming back
Great tour. A bit pricey but worth it. The guide Chris was knowledgeable and entertaining.
We booked a cemetery tour and steamboat cruise through these guys. We got totally confused with the cemetery tour meeting point on the first day but they set us straight and we thoroughly enjoyed the cemetery tour at St. Louis cemetery number 1 the following New Year’s Day morning. Cemetery tour guide was legit. Steamboat tour was fun also.
Hi may Stan lee Rest In Peace
I brought my 15 year old grandson to NYC for a week because he wanted to experience the culture of ethnic neighborhoods. We spent the first day with Norman, who had tailored his information and walking route to our specific needs. We walked 5 neighborhoods, all unique. I can’t say enough about how great he was. A native and student of Brooklyn and NYC, he was able to point out and explain things we never would have discovered on our own. It was a master class. He puts a Lot of thought and care into his work, and he obviously loves his native City. We connected with him for another half day later in the week, and throughout the entire week he was sending us tips and ideas that were incredibly helpful. My highest recommendation.
Norman was a phenomenal tour guide! He knows Brooklyn like the back of his hand, and he went above and beyond to make the experience extremely informative and engaging. We did the Park Slope 2.5 hour walking tour and it was worth every cent. Make sure to bring your walking shoes! :)
Norman is a true professional. I contacted him to do a tour for a group of first time NY visitors from Europe and they loved it. Norman customized a tour that fit perfectly within the groups visit to the U.S. This is an engaging experience for first time NY visitors and lifetime locals alike. I highly recommend New York Like A Native.
I was very, very lucky to be able to work with New York Like a Native for a recent neighborhood tour of Sunset Park that I organized for my work. Norman (the founder) was exceptionally professional and easy to work with. Even more importantly, the tour itself was off the charts interesting, engaging, and fun. The audience was wrapt throughout as Norman took us through the streets of one of New York's most diverse neighborhoods and into the park itself.

I recommend New York Like a Native for folks who are visiting the city and want to get a behind the scenes view of New York and to people who live here that want to get to know their city better.
I thought it was great. Kids loved it and I found it to be a good value.

Over New Years 2013, Geovanni provided an exceptional "architectural" tour for my boyfriend and I through lower, mid and upper Manhattan as well as sections of Harlem. Geovanni ensured we travelled in style and provided us with a luxury town car and a well humoured driver. Our guide possessed a stack of local knowledge and over the course of 3 hours we discovered numerous photo taking vantage points - photos we will later use to decorate the apartment in Toronto. A few of the architectural highlights included the old Ghostbusters firehall, the Royal Tenenbaum's house in Harlem and the majesty of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. While touring the cathedral, the late afternoon sun touched the stain glass in the most magnificent way, spraying mauve hue across the interior. Geovanni had obviously done his research and we appreciated seeing hidden gems packed with fascinating stories. This was my 3rd year touring with Geovanni and we're already planning our 4th expedition with him again in the coming months. HIGHLY recommend!

Our Better Adventures tour of Central park was a highlight of the summer! Our tour guide Geovanni was extremely knowledgeable and interjected the right amount of detail about the geography and history of the Park as he helped us explore and discover so much that we never knew about this fabulous NYC treasure. The right guide makes all the difference, and we were incredibly impressed with his passion, articulateness, and clear desire for everyone on the tour to walk away with a deep appreciation for the Park and its central role in NYC. No doubt that we are going to call upon Better adventures and Geovanni to enrich other city adventures. Highly recommended!

Geovanni did a great job of leading our tour through Central Park on the first sticky day of summer with our 6, 9 & 12 year olds in tow. He had tons of knowledge that he was able to share with all of us and made sure to point out lots of interesting things that you might otherwise miss. In our 2 1/2 hour tour we had a great walk and saw all of the must see sights in the park.
Better Adventures surpasssed any expectations that I had of the tour. Our group was diverse and Geovanni made sure that everyone was enjoying themselves and learning. He was interactive and very knowledgable about the whole city.
