The check-in process was smooth, and I didn’t have to wait long before being seen by a healthcare professional. The nurse was friendly and thorough, taking the time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions. Dr. Ruben Macías was incredible – knowledgeable, caring, and made sure I understood my diagnosis and treatment options.

I have been a vanguard patient for over 2 years now. Doctor Sally is really good but getting her appointment has become difficult day by day. If I am sick and I need to see doctor the same day the staff says we have latest in person appointment available after 3 weeks and this appointment will not even but with my PCP, it will be with another doctor . The staff is not able to accommodate regular patient appointments. I am very disappointed with the service they are providing these days

Never come here again, very very slow. There was no patients in the lobby, I have been waiting for almost 40 minutes total. Definitely do not suggest to come to this location. But the front desk girl was very friendly!

I had a really bad earache came here and was in and out in like 15 minutes. Diagnosed and prescribed the antibiotics I needed to feel better. Best urgent care experience Rolf my life! Definitely recommend.

dr. khan and his entire staff was extremely professional, welcoming, kind and upbeat. i never felt uncomfortable and i truly feel like they listened and answered my questions and concerns. the office is spacious and clean. they also didn’t make me wait too long at all. i really enjoyed my first visit here and am glad i found this office.

Extremely horrible staff with the worst possible management. We went in for a test and were enforced to wait in the meeting room for over 2 hours. Whenever we open the door trying to ask question or simply use the restroom, there was an extremely rude male nurse that would yell us to go back to our room and made additional tests sound like mandatory while it really should be up to patients. I think what he did was very close to illegal detention, and I had to explain to him multiple times that we need rest to leave. Doctor Patel is really unprofessional as well, they spent less than 10 minutes to end the conversation and refuse to prescribe us anything, and to just leave our conditions getting worse and had to come back to her for follow-up visits so that she can charge more! The service and treatment here are so much worse than the level any normal human being should ever tolerate, so avoid this place at all costs unless you’re dying and you just happen to be at their front door, oh that’s actually because you just walked out of there!

I cut my pinky when my mug of coffee slipped out of my hand. Decided to go to Rambam for stitches after it was still slightly bleeding 4 hrs later. The PA was very good in that he gave me the option to glue the wound. Great experience overall. Best part is I was seen immediately. Highly recommend!

Friendly and Amazing staff! I was worried and nervous going in with a hurt ankle. We were greeted immediately. Check in was quick. And all the exams were smooth and simplified so that i could fully understand what the next step was!
They even brought out a wheelchair for me without me having to ask for one. 100/10 recommend!

The staff are kind and friendly,the doctor was sweet and pleasant,all the appointments took less then 20 minutes, highly recommend Rambam .

MA Yechiel and PA Elie Furer listened carefully, were very understanding, prompt, and efficient. They even wished me a sincere refuah shleimah when I left! I feel with there work and H's help, I will get better soon. Truly excellent!

The doctor appears to be a conscientious and knowledgeable; however, the office employees leave much to be desired. I first made an appointment last year as new patient since moving to Jersey City and was recommended to have a third COVID vaccine done. I agreed with the doc and went to get it done in their office. The doctor did say that there might be worse symptoms than previous two shots because I would have a different one this time. Worried, I also asked the senior health worker who was supervising the junior administering the vaccine. The senior worker did not answer my question and instead shot back at me asking me how it was previously. I was shocked and the junior person just kept her head down. I also had full blood work done where it showed that I had elevated cholesterol. The doc told me to come back in 3 months to get checked again. When I was sitting in a waiting room 3 months later, the phlebotomist came out and started conversing with the receptionist. It was loud enough for me to hear. The phlebotomist was consulting with the receptionist whether the instructions were correct and the patient only came for a lipids test. It appears that they decided on their own that the full blood work should be done again. It turns out that they were talking about me. I'm afraid of needles, so I always close my eyes when they take my blood and they took advantage of me. They took the full 3 beakers of blood. The doc is also a certified gynecologist so I made another appointment for that. As I was waiting in the room, the receptionist comes to me and checks my temperature randomly. I was not sick but was wearing a mask because the sign on the door said that masks were recommended. I was made to feel very uncomfortable because the other patient also sitting in the waiting room was perturbed. I removed the mask right after... To top it off, I recently had an episode of serious back pain on the right side of my body and made an appointment with the chiropractor also in the area. Unfortunately, the chiropractor did not come to the office due to family emergency and I decided to trudge my way to this office to see if they could squeeze me in. I was told immediately that they don't do walk-ins and was basically turned away. They tried to be 'nice' by looking up the schedule and saying they "might" have an appointment at 4 pm later in the day but it felt fake and I walked out. Thankfully there was a bench to rest right outside their office...

Very helpful and supportive inclusive staff. Very accommodating clean spacious relaxing place. And has all different services under one roof.

This office is refusing to renew your medication in time unless you come and visit to pay for a visit. The doctor prescribed me a medication that needs renewal every four weeks at the same time the doctor wrote without telling me that she recommends a monthly visit. Recommend! Not require.
I need my new medication and waiting for three days for them to submit it to the pharmacy. I scheduled a monthly appointment to see the doctor (one month = 30days) medication every 4 weeks so I need my new prescription after 28 days. I called in 3 days in a row asking to please refill the prescribed original prescription and still waiting on it. My date is approaching and I am without medication and no call back. I have to keep calling and the front desk is telling me they are waiting for the doctor to approve. Three days!

Friendly front desk. Great experience with the doctor. The problem is that there was only 1 doc on duty and they scheduled 4 or 5 patients for the same time slot. Needless to say the wait was unnecessarily long.

Arrived today at 515pm and they said without an appointment, they couldn't see me because their system was slow... There was only 1 person in the waiting room and while I was there, that person got called in, so no one else was there! They had time to see me.
It's so frustrating when you call your PCP, they don't have an appointment for the week, you're told to go to this specific urgent care because they close at 7pm, I get here at 515pm and get told no because no appointment!!! I'm sick, not feeling well, dizzy, and they don't care. Also want to add that they had their sign saying walk ins here. So you don't necessarily need an appointment for an urgent care. AND, the guy at the front was able to look up my insurance AND tell me I had been there before to another location, AND he was able to sign me up for an "appointment" for tomorrow (I got the confirmation email right away), so it doesn't sound like the system was slow. THIS IS HOW/WHY THE ERs GET PACKED and OVER USED, and then the ppl that are REALLY DYING, GET DELAYED CARE AT THE ER! THIS IS WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE HEALTH SYSTEM!

My grandson was visiting for the summer and became ill and needed to see a doctor. After being given a referral, I anxioualy called Carbon Health Urgent Care and thankfully was able to schedule an appointment that same morning. I am extremely pleased with my experience at this office. The young lady in the front office was friendly and processed us in quickly. The office was .clean and the wait was really short. The nurse was very kind and the physician assistant was awesome (wish I could remember his name). He really took his time during the appointment. I found him to be very througjh, informative, patient, kind and personal. Talking to him was like talking to a friend. And I really appreciate that he educated us on fevers and viruses and how they impact the body. It was enligjtening and he made it a great educational experience which eased alot of my concerns. I left the appointment feeling relieved and grateful that I found this place!

I highly recommend Carbon Health in Cerritos, for anyone in need of urgent care services.

I don’t live in the area and don’t mind traveling for quality service. After traveling more than 30 mins away, I was a few minutes late for my appt and was turned away. Even telling them I am willing to wait for however long on the side until the doctor can squeeze me in. My appt takes 5 mins and I usually am waiting for the doctor to see me in the room for another 15+ mins. But was still denied! Mind you, this occurrence with me being a few mins late has only happened once.

This isn’t the first time I’ve had scheduling issues with them. On my last appt, which I booked 3 months out from their recommendation, they had to change my appt a day before my scheduled appt since the doctor decided to take off. I was understanding of the doctor’s situation but it’s disappointing they could not accommodate me as a courtesy.

I will have to search for a better provider who sees the importance of the patient’s care and not a drive-thru service at their convenience.

Overall I have had good experiences here. Scheduling has started to become a major issue. I had a physical scheduled for my daughter 6 months out because of this difficulty and they recently called a few days before to reschedule because the doctor had an offsite meeting. The next available appointment with my daughter’s doctor wasn’t for a month and a half. This was problematic since we had health forms that need to be filled out that month.Ultimately we had to see a different doctor to get my daughter seen in time which is not ideal.

Convenient location. Nice office staff and I saw a knowledgeable physician assistant. The inside could use some upgrading. The doctor ordered me a test, but they did not have it in stock. They gave me something else. The doctor also sent in a prescription for me that was denied from my insurance for some reason? The pharmacy was trying to get a hold of them, but they were already closed. Bummer because I really needed the medication that night. I would go back again if I had to.

Clean facility, up-to-date , efficient, with a reasonable wait time.
The exam was conducted in a highly respectful manner, while being thorough and attentive to past history and present symptoms.

Rambam family health center is so warm and loving! Everyone is always smiling and asking if you need anything! When I went I was waiting for like maybe 2 minutes and everyone was asking me "can I get you something maybe a drink, cookies, coffee... " it was the warmest atmosphere I have ever been in! The staff is amazing and very efficient! Always accommodating you with whatever you need. the facility is sparkling clean even with all the traffic that they have!!

Horrible sitting here now had an appointment bat 10 got here at 945 it's now 1043 and still have not been seen. I definitely will be changing Drs. When I asked why lady at the front dest said she didn't know why. But everyone who came on before me and way after me got called right away. This wouldn't be acceptable if I was late for my appt 40 mins I would have to pay the late fee to reschedule as well as reschedule my appointment. Then when I said I had to go they claim 5 mins and I would be seen but instead of seeing me ina actual room I am in the room with a bunch of vaccine refrigerator so it's like a supply room with a medical bed in it. Just horrible. And I thought planned parenthood was bad. Tacky!!!

Staff was friendly, timely, and respectful. The office was clean and enjoyable to wait in. The doctor was attentive and amusing. He made me feel at home. They really care for their patients. Happy to go back for future well check ups and sick visits

I had the most pleasent time during my appointment the outside was kept clean even though it facing a main street inside was exceptional, the nurses and even the doctor were friendly and concern about my medical needs.

And when I ask for the appointment they give me after two months and today I was here and I was waiting hour and a half inside the room and nobody take care. This is weird

The worst Clinic I have ever met!!!!!! The staff is sleeping!!!!! No one answers the phone because they don't speak English, they hate the race, they are racists!!!!! For a month I have been waiting for someone to give me a code to make an appointment for my child with a specialist!!!! No one answers, I put myself on hold and then hang up!!!!! If you need a doctor don't look for one here at Good Samaritan!!!!

Went in the first day I showed symptoms. No RX for sinus or other symptoms! Now, I’m paying ANOTHER co-pay for them to ask ME what’s wrong!?!? Well, let me check my medical degree and get back with you on that! $100 later and 5 days out of work, I give up!

Vanguard has been my primary provider for the last 7 years, but I'm sorry to say that I'm really disappointed with the service these days. They never have an appointment available if you are sick and need to be seen on the same day! Who takes sick visit appts one week or one month in advance? If I end up going to urgent care for every sick visit, then what is the point of a PCP?
Some of the providers are really good, but only if you ever get to see them.
It's unfortunate that they aren't able to accommodate long time, regular patients any more.

I was VERY disappointed in my visit. They are disorganized here as well. No one told me on the phone that I would need medical records so I was unable to see anyone. Almost all of the staff were wonderful and kind people who were very helpful to me with my first visit and helping me accommodate my physical disabilities. It was going well until Sonia turned up. This worker is the WORST person I've ever had the displeasure of meating. She has a God complex and believes because she works with "drug addicts" that she is better then every patient that walks through the door. She yelled at me about everything the other workers had asked me to do before she showed up and about the things I had to do for my multiple disabilities. Apparently Sonia feels like a better person when she is picking on disabled patients.

Dr. Thomas is amazing and caring doctor is unfortunate that pharmacies don’t want to take his scripts other than that he is amazing
