Thorough explanation of the policy and policy options from an insurer that I wasn't familiar with, but is well regarded. I had been paying a high premium for my insurance. After researching, I decided on Texan Insurance and spoke to an agent—Monica Zorn. While she was cordial on the phone, I was charged for the maximum 6mo premium that I did not express I wanted. I called, emailed, etc. regarding this issue and the resolution is still pending as of writing this. She didn't confirm the total amount I'd be charged as CONFIRMATION at the conclusion of that call. She claimed I didn't request a monthly installment when I did. I saw the charge on my account and didn't even have the money to cover it. I was shocked! I did speak to her boss but Monica Zorn expressed I was going to be contacted by her boss and that never happened "during the time frame" expressed by her either. I had to communicate with her boss about the issue to try to get to a resolution. She was willing to work with me so I will give her credit for that. I did suggest that training for her employee, Monica, and all other employee be trained or coached accordingly to avoid this issue.
Despite this incident I did refer someone I know to them but without a shadow of a doubt, it left a bad taste in my mouth. I was really nervous to use a brokerage company because I’m used to doing everything myself and paying for exactly what I need and nothing more - but sometimes you have to call in a professional. I’m SO thankful to have worked with Texan. I was connected to Taylor A. who was absolutely AMAZING. She kept me informed via texts, calls, and emails. She was easy to talk to. She knew my area well enough to know what I needed. I didn’t feel pushed or overly encouraged to buy up. She was authentic and helpful! We added features to my auto and renters insurance that made sense and when I didn’t want something, again no pushing. She explained everything multiple times throughout our contact to ensure I knew exactly what I was signing up for. Couldn’t have asked for a better rep! I'm in the process of buying my first condo and quickly become overwhelmed and confused when I tried to search for a policy on my own. Applied online for insurance quote. Wael called back and sent me an email on April 15, 2021 saying he will work on quotes for me. I sent him two follow up emails, and it's now May 7th, 2021 and I still haven't heard back from him since the original contact. Don't waste your time.
It started off well with National Insurance of America. However about a month into the insurance, I received a mail in the letter saying there is an increase in a premium by 25%. The main reason given was because instead of brick veneer the predominant material of the walls was siding. Which does not make sense and claiming it was vacant. They came once when we were out of town and claimed that fact. The building is occupied by 4 people.
I did not agree to the increase in the premium, so they they cancelled my insurance - they they refunded only 2/3 of my premium. For less than 2 months worth of coverage. I don't know what my agent Junaid was doing to help address this but it just seems like he is a middle man that pings information back and forth

I have had a liability policy through them for 2 years now and though they have been a bit difficult to contact, usually I could Wael WAS previously helpful, but NOW- I have been unable to get a hold of ANYONE in that office since Feb. 2020 and desperately need a Certificate of Insurance for a paid-up policy Has anyone had any contact with an agent AT this company/ My phone calls are not returned and all my emails to WAEL bounce back!

This Company is a joke. i have reached out on in late January 2020 trying to call this company and left two voicemails with no return call .i was looking for commercial insurance for limousines. i would call and some guy answers takes a message for wael and never get a call back. i finally get to speak to wael and he talks to me and explains the process OK i understand but a week and a half went by after sending my loss runs over to him and still no email or phone call for a follow up. so i try calling again there is no answer mind you this is now in mid February 2020. i tried following once more on February 27th 2020 with a email. still no response. i am no sure if any one else has had any bad experiences with this company as i have.i am not one to leave bad reviews but i was very patient and as well as upfront letting wael know that my account would not be easy to get a quote for insurance. all i ask is for better communication.
