Great experience, got some jeans tailored took about a week. Called to confirm they were ready and I was able to pick everything up really quickly. Staff here is friendly and efficient. Would definitely come here again for any related services!

I don’t leave this poor review lightly! I feel badly but I do feel compelled to share my experience.
I used Yelena Couture for my October 2023 wedding dress alterations.
I bought my dress at a nearby shop and Yelena was recommended.
My dress was a deep V in front and back and had sleeves.
Presenting concerns- it was a little big in the waist, needed to hemmed and bustled, and the chest was too big/didn’t sit flat against my body/exposed me as I moved around.
I was told at the initial visit this was all doable, it was a positive experience and I felt like I was in good hands.
At the second visit, I was really happy with the waist and hemming. The chest was still not fitting right and I was told more tweaking was needed.
A the third and final visit, a few weeks before the wedding, the chest still wasn’t fitted. I’m not sure how to explain it- just that as lifted my arms/moved my body it would lift up and expose my chest easily. It also was sliding off of my shoulders, which it hadn’t been doing previously.
I shared my concerns and was told there wasn’t much more to do and to try body tape. I feel body tape is totally reasonable for minor adjustments and feeling extra secure, but this felt more than body tape (especially for the cost etc.). I left feeling really defeated.
I bought all the body tape I could find (toupee tape works best). Ultimately, I taped as best as I could. It would work for a little while then need to be re-done. I was really aware of it and overall just felt like it didn’t fit how it should.
I do feel like for the cost of alterations and for it being a wedding dress it really should have fit properly.
If it wasn’t able to be done or if a mistake was made, I wish it was handled differently.

Never in my life have I need an easier person to work with. I walked in with a button problem on my blouse. Immediately Richard saw the problem and fixed my blouse. In the 15 minutes I was back at work and not worrying about it any more. Highly recommend Richard as he made me feel so comfortable . All in all excellent service.

Richard is truly a master of his craft, and knows how to tell a good yarn, as well as sew one (if you have some extra minutes to spare ;))

Not cheap, and cash-only, but if it's something that needs to look right/nice, he doesn't cut any corners. (This second pun actually not intended) If you get lucky, you could come away with some Armenian baked goods...

Alteration service was reasonably timed, priced and well done. Communication of when things would be available was less than clear & I was even told my bag wasn't ready after it was scheduled to be, and in fact was done.

Had a comforter picked up to be dry cleaned, they did a nice job and nothing was damaged! Will be coming here for other services.

Great reviews. I’m from out of town and needed a pair of jeans and shirt laundered and starched by tomorrow. I called up there and the nicest lady answered. I told her my situation, I needed jeans and a shirt laundered/starched by tomorrow, and asked if it could be done and she responded absolutely. Gave me a fair quote too.

I immediately went up there to drop them off and when I walked in I said I just spoke to someone who said they could launder/starch these by tomorrow. The lady in the back seemed shocked and said they couldn’t do that. She said they could launder, press and stuff, but at this point I was happy to just get them laundered and pressed by tomorrow at 3pm.

Long story short. They are great people, but there’s someone answering phones that says they can do things they can’t. I get it, it was short notice, but I would’ve like to have known that so I could’ve called other cleaners to see if they could’ve laundered and starched by 3pm tomorrow. I settled for just launder/pressed clothes and dropped them off with carousel. I do not blame carousel for this mishap, just a little disappointed I couldn’t get them starched. I was short on time already and didn’t have time to find another cleaner to get them done within a day.

I’m leaving a five star review because I appreciate them taking my clothes and getting them done by 11/21 at 3pm. I believe in supporting small businesses, and Google reviews go a long way.

Went here to increase the size of some tuxedo pants I needed for a gala for just under a week after when I brought them in. The resizing was perfect, done in time, and so well priced! I recommended this place to a friend who needed her dress hemmed for the same event and they got it done in a day. Highly highly recommend Designs by Rey!

Mike the owner went out of my way to fix my favorite dress. I went in to get my favorite gown dry cleaned for a wedding and unfortunately it came back damaged. Mistakes happen, and in their defense, it’s such a delicate dress it probably shouldn’t be dry cleaned at all. Mike could see how upset I was and spent who knows how many hours fixing it. I really appreciated how thoughtful he was.

Ruined 1 brand new silk Vince blouse, 1 silk givenchy dress. And still made me pay for the blouse and to replace the mother of pearl button. They don’t know how to dry clean actual dry cleaning items. Cost wise it’s also over priced for the service. Don’t let their “nice smiles and compliments fool you”. Literally let someone else cut in line despite me waiting and getting their first.

Was holding back on a review and giving them benefit of the doubt. But after this 3rd bad experience. OVER IT.

Dropped off 2 dresses. Quoted me $100 to hem the dress. I went to a different tailor (Bella’s Tailor) and she charged me $30 for the same job. I left the second dress with him since his quote of $35 seemed more reasonable. Was told it would be ready on Oct 20. I came on Oct 21 and the job had not even been started. Sat there for 30 minutes while he quickly did the job. Sitting here waiting so I can’t speak on the quality of the tailoring. Will never return here again!!

Takes longer than other places to get dry cleaning back. The lady working the front is very very unfriendly. Didn’t get stains out of my clothes. I asked them to do special treatment on it before dropping off and she just ignores you. Basically looks through you as you’re talking to her.

Had some alterations and suit dry cleaned. Met All expectations and great price.

Just picked up my dress and it’s dirtier than when I dropped it off. Brown stains all over and burn marks.

Rose altered my ceremony and reception dresses. She very adeptly fit the bodice and shoulder straps to my chest measurement, and the bustle was easy to manage and hardly noticeable, and the hem was the perfect length. For my reception dress, she went to 5 different stores to make sure the lace she added to the bottom matched perfectly. Appointments were quick, but I never felt I was being rushed, only that Rose doesn't need very much time to work her magic. I cannot recommend her enough!

I brought my daughter to Yelena after another tailor told us she was unable to take in all of the intricate, beading and lace on my daughters wedding gown. Yelena reassured us and was so easy to work with. Her work was exquisite! The gown is absolutely perfect and my daughter is going to look like a princess on her special day!

Richard is a master of his craft. He cares about his business and customers, and it shows.

I always go to Cesar to get my tailoring done and have sent many of my friends to him! He is a magician and I always get compliments on my clothes that he tailors. Truly great at his craft!!

I have used his services twice now for tailoring/repairs and his work is amazing. About 2 years ago I had two shirts shortened by 2 inches and they look perfect to this day. This time around I needed a satin bomber jacket repaired in the armpit seam and he did a fantastic job, it looks brand new. I highly recommend coming here if you need any alterations or repairs. Very high quality work in a timely manner.

5 stars. Great prices, experienced tailors. Fix a ripped seam on an old dress, make a loose fitting shirt a little tighter, all that stuff… any favorite old clothes they can make them good as new again for way less than cost to replace. Good turnaround time usually about a week. It’s usually a bunch of older Latino men they seem to be very skilled and experienced with custom and vintage pieces.

Very high quality work. I’ve had bridesmaid dresses hemmed, most recently in May. Additionally, I had him alter a dress for my milestone birthday. All of my dresses have made me feel good on the special days. Highly recommend and expect quality work.

At first, great service, I WAS a customer for about a year. 1 shirt was lost, don't know what happened to it, another shirt was burned. Denied that it was their fault. "None of my equipment is hot enough to burn this" was the owners response. The employess are awesome and friendly.

I dropped off two dresses for alteration on 7/15 with a promised completion date of 8/10. I was flying out of town early on 8/10, so I called on 8/9 to see if I could pick them up a day early. They weren't ready yet, which is understandable, so we rescheduled the pick up for 8/14 at noon when I was back from my trip. When I arrived on 8/14 at 1pm, the dresses were still not done. I was a little shocked and disappointed considering we were well past the original 8/10 promised completion date. I was able to pick up the dresses later that day and the alterations were done well, but I should not have had to make two trips to pick up the dresses in the first place. Thankfully I did not need the dresses by the originally promised date, but in the event that I am pressed for time in the future I will not be returning to get my alterations done here.

Mixed feelings about this spot, but today, 2 pm - 2:30 pm, I got a recording that they are closed. Their store hours today are supposed to be 10am-6pm. Nordstrom main customer service emailed the store because my issue had to be resolved locally, and an hour later I got a call from the Store Manager, who was really incredibly helpful! In sum: quality of your experience depends on who you are dealing with, and if they aren't up to snuff you've just got to speak to try someone else. Facility is really well kept and comfortable; definitely up to Nordstrom standards. But do not trust their phone service!

He did an excellent job with a difficult repair. I needed the torso lengthened on a jumpsuit. I have taken several odds and ends to Rey, and he always does an excellent job

If you are looking for a great dry cleaner continue your search. After having been a customer for rhe last year averaging very large amounts of business for this location ($400-$700) per drop off, one order they insteucted me to do their fluff and Fold service they shrank 12 shirts that cost me nearly $700 to replace. Instead of rectifying it they charged me for that service which i had my bank reverse and then i still continued to bring my business to them to then be told that they would not service my dry cleaning service. The owner i spoke with and his staff are unbelievable in the sense that they could care less about damaging your clothing. I highly recommend finding another place to trust with your expensive clothing

Nordstrom Local West Village is so AWESOME . Total VIP service from the moment I walked in. They did a seamless exchange, gave me a gift box/tissue/wrapping paper and a recyclable bag to boot. I watched customers picking up orders, others picking up orders and trying clothes in their super clean dressing room and others having alterations done by the on site tailor. I am so sorry that I did not get the name of the most helpful employee. I will definitely order more from Nordstrom'a now.

SO CONVENIENT! I didn’t know this was an option as pick up! I work in this area so it was so wonderful to pop by on my break and be able to pick up things I had ordered. There is also an area to try things on before you leave. I love how seamless everything was.

I came to Bostonian Tailoring and a week later I had a dress that fit perfectly. I will be coming back for any alterations I may need, and I have already recommended this place to friends and family.

I had a great experience getting my wedding dress altered at Yelena Couture. Rose was professional and fast and the services were reasonably priced. When I got home after picking up the dress, I noticed that a small bit of lace was coming out of one of the seams (a small issue, barely noticeable but I wanted to fix it). I called Yelena Couture and Rose apologized and handled it very professionally. I went back the next morning and she fixed the issue in 10 minutes and gave me some extra thread in case anything else happens to the dress (the material on the bodice is delicate). The final result looks fantastic, I can't wait to wear my dress!

We have had a great experience with Martinizing Dry Cleaning. The home pickup and drop off is fabulous. We have also appreciated their accommodations on the invoice to support work deductions. I was just up at this dry cleaners and didn't have cash to tip them so paying it forward by writing a positive review. I've been using them for 6 or so months now - after moving to sloans lake I needed to find a new dry cleaner so I didn't have to keep driving to cap hill - this place is the best. everyone who works there is friendly, quick, and the services are affordable. They do a great job with alterations and I feel confident bringing anything I have to them and know they will do a great job. They turn everything around superrr quickly and set expectations very well. Would absolutely recommend them!!!!

It's hard to find a tailor let alone a good one. Rey has now altered 5 dresses for me, from hems to adjusting straps and fit, and all have been done well and as I wanted. He's also done hems on a couple of jeans and worked with synthetic leather. I would not hesitate to bring anything to him.

Highly recommend going here for dress alterations. I brought a dress in that i needed hemmed in a quick turnaround time (4 days), and they were able to accommodate that time frame at a reasonable price. They also did a fantastic job as well. I'll definitely keep coming here for the excellent service!

I found Rey on a community page and I'm so glad I did! He is a true professional and I've used him for dresses and pants, and my boyfriend had an entire suit tailored. We couldn't be happier with the exceptional results. He works quickly and his prices are very reasonable. It's so nice to have found such a reliable and skilled tailor, and as well, he's just a really nice guy.

Wow!! The folks who run this place are so nice, and they do an incredible job. They got ten month old stains out of my dress! They even walked me outside and helped me put my items in my car. This is my new go-to dry cleaning spot. I highly recommend giving these lovely people your business!

Really very good Dry Cleaners. Nice people, quick and inexpensive. Surprisingly easy parking. There are several cleaners closer to my home and my work. I’ve tried them all multiple times but now go here exclusively. Have never been disappointed or let down.

The owner was amazing and super sweet. 4 k worth of designer clothes is something I usually worry about leaving with a dry cleaner. Everything was done perfectly. Would reccomend 100 percent. Ready for Vegas!

My go-to, trusted cleaner. Took a handful of shirts and they were laundered and pressed beautifully. I am wary of dropping off expensive, brand name shirts at most cleaners but no hesitation here. A light blue LV came back perfectly.

Such a positive experience! I’ve never had my clothes altered before but had a collection of pants I loved but had become too loose. I went in, the friendly men working there had me try on each pair of pants and then pinched the waistline until I thought it felt good. Four days later I picked them up- they all fit like a glove. Couldn’t even tell how they did it, amazing!!!!

I have had a really poor experience with this company. I dropped off two jackets and it cost me $90 for both (one was $75 since it was leather but no one told me it would be so expensive beforehand). It took a week and a half to get back the jackets and then when I picked up the leather jacket it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned at all. They took it back and I still haven’t received it two weeks later after calling twice and being told it should be ready soon. After picking up the jacket (ready 3 1/2 weeks after drop off) they told me that there would be permanent fading on the front from the cleaning they tried to do. The jacket is in worse condition than i left it to them and I didn’t receive anything to remedy the situation. I would not recommend using martinizing.

Super friendly place. Got five pairs of thrifted pants altered in various ways for $120, which is the price of just one good pair of new pants. Pretty good deal

I was helped by a wonderful employee, Rodger, today. He treated me with such respect and kindness, and processed my return very quickly and easily. He also informed me about the donation services this location offers, and the beauty product recycling. His kindness and help made my day! Terrific service.

The Asian owner/employee is very unpleasant. The cleaning service destroyed one of my clothes, this can happen but she never apologized and even suspected that I was trying to cheat her. She negotiated in a petty way to reduce the credit that it was only natural to guarantee me. Really pathetic!

Richard is a diamond in the rough within the Boston-area, high end tailors. As a return customer, I’ve had Richard tailor $2000 suits and formal tuxedos to absolute perfection. He has the vision of what the suit should look like on your body type and executes it to a level that cannot be attained in the VAST majority of Boston-area tailors. Plain and simple, would recommend visiting him before wasting your time and money elsewhere!

Be VERY careful with the clothes you bring to this place. They put a hole on my dress shirt and didn’t do anything about it - no accountability whatsoever. First, they said they were going to pay for it. A few days later, they came up with a story that they “don’t” do the laundry at this place, but they send customers’ clothes to another place where the work is done by other people (ie. even though we charge you in this store for the service, we don’t do the work, so if something goes wrong then we don’t care about it). They concluded that the hole wasn’t made by them during the laundry process and that I should take it back to the store where I bought it - all of this was in about a month and a half period. No money, no real compensation for damaging clothes, their solution? Bring more dress shirt and next time we will give you a $6 dollar credit. I will never be go back and I would not take anything you care about here.

The team at Yelena Couture did such a wonderful job with my wedding dress! They were attentive and caught some things that even I didn’t notice. I appreciated their attention to detail, and my alterations were done perfectly, even on the delicate illusion mesh and appliqués.

A friend recommended this place to me for altering a formal dress for an upcoming wedding! They did such a wonderful job! The dress i brought in was fairly complex to have the length shortened but it turned out perfect! I received so many compliments :)

I found my dream wedding dress second-hand, but it was a size too large, so I decided to check out Denver Tailoring to see what they could do. Maitham reduced the size perfectly! So much care was put into the alterations that it looked brand new! I highly recommend bringing your wedding/prom/formal dresses here, especially if you have a dress with a mix of fabrics. I'm very happy with how my dress turned out and will definitely be coming back for future alterations! Beautiful work!

They do excellent work! I bought these pants online and they had points at the edges. I stuck a paperclip in one leg to let them know where to hem them, and this is the result. (If you want to see what they originally looked like, go to the Killstar website and lookup the "Night mystic Trousers")

I cannot recommend Rey enough for all your tailoring needs. I brought my wedding dress to Rey's for alterations including taking it in, hemming the length, and adding a bustle. All services were completed with expertise and within the expected time frame. Making sure the dress fit a certain way took multiple visits and Rey did not stop until I was 100% satisfied with how it looked. The price (affordable to begin with) never changed despite the extra visits and attention. I feel so lucky to have Rey and his team as our patient and highly skilled neighborhood tailors!

They did a great job hemming the sleeves of my karate uniform. I was turned away from other stores because the material was too thick for some machines. But Centre Tailor took it without an issue, made the sleeves look exactly like I needed them with 6 lines of stitching, and finished everything in the couple of days I needed them in. Highly recommend!

They charged $40 for the 4 sleeves on my $300+ specialized karate uniform I couldn't have fixed myself.

I just want to say these people are truly the nicest. They are so happy to see you when you walk in the door, they want to help you. Maybe this seems like a silly thing to say - but to meet people who clearly love what they do and want to be kind to people, that gets noticed by me!

Also they did a fabulous job with my stuff: dry cleaning + altercations! And they have a parking spot in front for you to pick-up/drop-off.

Rey did a great job on my husband and daughters outfit for my cousin's traditional wedding.

Maitham did such a wonderful job with my wedding dress!! I was so amazed he was able to keep the perfect trim on it and everything it fit like a glove. I highly recommend this spot to everyone! 10/10 and he was so amazing with letting me know when it would be ready. Best tailor in denver !!

I had a shirt get seriously shrunk. They told me to go into their business. When I got there, I was ignored while they helped others customers. Then, they sent me all the way to Mayfair cleaners on E Colfax where they send the dry cleaning out to. I don’t know why they didn’t have me go there initially. It was a huge waste of my time. They didn’t credit me for the dry cleaning services. Mayfair ended up stretching my shirt out but it’s not the same as it was. I had to fight to get Mayfair to credit me the $7 for the shirt. Nothing for the inconvenience. I will never be going back. I would not take anything you care about here.

Fast and professional. Had a white collared shirt I needed tightened (was 2 sizes too big) by the next day. Got there at 4 pm and they had turned it around by 7:30 pm the same day. The price was lower than I had expected so I left a generous tip. Great service!

I went to Yelena Couture to have my wedding dress fitted. They were able to do this in only two fittings, with total time being 1.5-2 months (I didn't need anything rushed). The fitting included shortening the straps, hemming the bottom, and repairing a tiny tear in the front mesh of the dress. This was done very well. But I also went to Yelena with a vague idea of a custom belt for my dress. I wanted to include lace from my mother's wedding dress and somehow include my grandmother's wedding ring. After they listened and wrote down what I wanted, they created a BEAUTIFUL belt out of satin, my mother's lace, and my grandmother's ring. It was everything I wanted and more. Thankful for their friendly customer service and creating an heirloom for me and my future family. Very happy with Yelena!

I took my new coat to get dry cleaned. The result, metal buttons were ruined in the dry cleaning process. Any dry cleaner worth their salt would check what every material in a garment is made of, and address it accordingly. In this case, most will cover metal buttons with aluminum foil upon inspection. The condition I received my jacket says otherwise. Pictures for proof. Every button has the paint chipping off. It wasn't like that before. If you're looking for a dry cleaner with a discerning eye to care for your garments, look elsewhere or at the very least figure it out yourself and let them know if you must use this service.

I’ve been to several different tailors in the area, and Mario The Tailor is hands-down the highest quality. I have had several sweaters, pants, and jackets hemmed and taken-in, and the results are always perfect and seamless. I didn’t realize how much variability there is in the quality of alterations between different establishments. Now that I’ve been here, I won’t go anywhere else.

Really positive experience! I had my wedding dress hemmed here and he did a great job. I decided to add a simple belt to the dress after having it shortened and he sewed it on free of charge/same day. Highly recommend!

The folks at Yelena helped me with a tricky alteration on my wedding gown. They were prompt, kind, and the craftsmanship is excellent. The price was a little steeper than I had hoped but that is typical for a wedding gown, and they were the only folks I spoke to in the area who were upfront about costs and willing to discuss my budget before cutting the dress. My dress is now both beautiful and comfortable, and I will happily go to them for any alterations or repairs in the future!

This is the absolutely worst dry cleaning I have ever seen!!! They completely ruined a designer $4000 dress (i paid resale value but it does not diminish the fact it is a 100% real Channel) and left a note saying they couldn’t get the spot out when they were the ones who ruined it!!!! I do not recommended this establishment to anyone do not bring any clothes here!!! The entire dress is ruined and there were absolutely no stains on it!! I only brought it in to have it cleaned after buying it before a wedding!!

Edit to this post: Brad the owner did take the dress back to try and fix the mistake. He got most of the bleeding out but there was still damages. He then paid for half of what I paid for the dress. He tried to fix the mistake and kept in contact with me during the process. All of the other clothes I had given didn’t have anything on them.

Richard did a fantastic job hemming my wedding dress. He’s also one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. I looked all over for a tailor and ended up going with him and I’m so glad. Price was $124, which seemed to be in line with (if not cheaper than) other places in Boston. He also was willing to see me outside of his regular business hours and turned it around quickly. If you want a skilled, kind, small business owner, I highly recommend choosing him.

Rey is amazingly talented! I came to him with a vision for my wedding dress in 2018 and he made it all happen in the shortest amount of time with the best price of the 5+ places I researched/got quotes. See full description and photos below:

We were on a budget and doing something outdoors/less formal, so I bought a dress online that was too big (wedding dress sizes are weird, so I'd say this was at least 2-3 sizes up; I was a 2 and this fit more like a 6 or 8 - I could pull it up and down without undoing the zipper). It was a chiffon-like material as the top layer that was pleated over a corset boning that angled down to a low back and intricate beading sewn in like a belt across the middle. By taking it in that much, a straight angle from the chest to the low back had to be recreated, boning in between the fabrics taken out, and beaded belt pattern adjusted very carefully. On top of that, I asked Rey to cut off the train and create sleeves (it was strapless originally) and put in cups/breast support so I wouldn't have to wear a bra/bustier underneath. Not easy tasks! Rey quickly sketched out exactly what I was asking, so I know he got my vision. I showed him some Pinterest photos as well just in case and he said it would take just a few weeks and cost under $200 (the corset padding/support bumped the cost up a bit from what he originally mentioned before the first fitting, but only by like $20-30 and was totally worth it). I tried it on for him to pin it how he needed, and he said I could come back in 1-2 weeks for a fitting/finishing touches.

The second appointment had pros and cons. The dress fit perfectly but the line from the top to the back wasn't straight (I think it just wasn't finished) and I wanted it a little lower in the back. He didn't cut off the full train like I asked because he didn't want me to regret it; instead he shortened it to be just a slight drag -- it was very pretty (and thoughtful - I'm sure he's had experience where he's done what was asked and then couldn't undo it if someone changed their mind), but I was adamant that I didn't want to drag in the dirt for the outside ceremony or bother bustling it for dancing. The sleeves he had pleated to match the design on the bodice, but it wasn't like the original design we had discussed, so we went back to his original sketch to clarify. The last part with that the support pad he sewed into the corset were huge and directly on top of my breasts as opposed to underneath and from the sides to help push up/support. I think this is a more common way to do it with Quinceañera dresses (especially for girls who maybe haven't developed yet). This piece was the only alteration where Rey brought in an assistant to help interpret -- I understood Rey's English perfectly fine and he seemed to understand me (I didn't speak much Spanish at the time), but I think he wanted to be positive nothing was lost in translation.

The third appointment 2-3 weeks later (only a little longer because Rey had a vacation planned) was sheer joy to see my vision come to be fully realized! All the changes had been made to exactly how we discussed. The only small edit was the wide and placement in the back of the new sleeves he created from the train that he cut off. I picked up a few days later as we were right at the wedding date and everything fit perfectly (note: I found out I was pregnant just before this last appointment, so if it looks a little tight in the photos it's because I was 10 weeks and had started gaining weight). The only issue was that it had a few wrinkles (I think this was just because of the short timeline he didn't get to it), so I took it to the dry cleaners on Centre St. since the wedding was the next day.

There are pros and cons to every experience, especially when there's so much riding on such an important event, so I can't say I wasn't anxious/nervous at times, but I trusted in Rey and he delivered just the most amazing bespoke dress I could have imagined! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! <3

The Asian owner is Rude and always annoyed with requests. I have used them for over a decade and asked for a expedited favor and was denied. Not cool.
Also recently lost and ruined some clothes. Finding someone who is more appreciative of the business. Very disappointed.

I'll never go anywhere else again. Richard is amazing!! He fixed a bridesmaid dress for me this past summer. His work is exceptional, prices are reasonable, and he got it done in an emergency for me. I had taken the dress to get altered at a tailor on the South Shore, just the hem taken up and straps shortened. They decided to add darts to the bust and give the dress a train when altering it?? I picked it up on July 2nd for a wedding on July 6th and I was panicked about getting it altered yet again in time for the wedding. I went to Richard and he showed me where they had taken out the original stitching and what they had changed, then explained every thing he was going to do to fix it. I dropped it off on July 2nd at 5pm, he took all the previous work out, and MET ME AT HIS SHOP AT 7AM THE FOLLOWING DAY so he could measure it on me and fix it. Before he left that same day for vacation!! He was a lifesaver and such a kind man. I can't recommend him or his work enough. Thank you Richard!

Calm, quiet, nicely decorated Nordstrom outpost where you can get any of your clothes (not just those purchased from Nordstrom) tailored. You can also have anything you buy from Nordstrom online shipped here for free (no minimum purchase required). Great seating areas. They offered me bottled water. Very friendly staff. They also serve as a UPS drop-off for packages you’re sending anywhere and they collect gently used clothing and shoes to donate to housing Works. Pretty great.

The suits are very high quality as are the pants and everything in the store. They last a long time and if something needs to be fixed they do it with a smile. Great tailor. I've been going to Mario's since they were in the old location on Hammond Street. The new location is great, and they now offer shoe repair as well. The work is professional and the customer service is exceptional. Mario and his son Pat are truly experts.

This is the best dry cleaners I've ever used. They are friendly, reasonably priced, and excellent for small repairs as well. They even do a great job with my husband's military uniform, including rushing patch changes or cleanings I've needed in a hurry several times at no extra charge. I've often had them turn things around in as little as two days without any sort of complaint or attitude. The staff is also super friendly. I won't use any other cleaners in town!
