I bought a tux from across the street and had to get the pants hemmed on very short notice. Even though it was late in the day, Antonio was able to get me settled quickly and professionally. He went out of his way to clean and cut the pockets. I'll definitely be going back for any future alterations!

They had my Ralph Lauren puffer coat for more then 3 weeks to fix 1 button and have it cleaned. I call them today and after this entire time they tell me they can’t do a snap button. Why has it been there this entire time and you can’t fix a snap button.

This is a great place, I love that they do not use chemicals for dry cleaning. The service is awesome, very professional and nice staff. They are always willing to help and provide support when I need it. I do not live in the area but it’s good choice for local and close by train. I will frequent them as much as I can because the quality of work is worth it the cost.

Extremely rude and unhelpful. I needed a list minute hem job, and I was aware that it might not be possible, so I called to ask for an estimated turnaround time for a hem. Note - I would have been totally understanding if he'd said he just couldn't get it done on the timeframe I was looking for. However, the man I spoke to proceeded to rant about how people call him for estimates about price and time and then never bring in anything, they waste his time and then go somewhere else and I could bring it in or not because a hem isn't worth that much money so I was welcome to take it somewhere else.
I'm not sure how many people need an item altered and have no parameters around price or time. I'm also aware that a hem is a minor alteration, and he's not gonna drop everything or rearrange his schedule, which is why I was inquiring if my alteration was even possible. I don't appreciate being scolded for requesting what I think is reasonable information. If a hem is too small-time, perhaps consider a service minimum.

This spot is a game changer! One of the best Tailors I’ve ever taken my clothing to. Goga the owner is real friendly and helpful, she has worked on my jeans and shirts which all have all come out to perfection.
I wear a size L t-shirt but prefer a M size length, Goga and the team took care of that for me with no problem.

Antonio is fantastic! Very skilled, always friendly, and superb outcomes! I had a leather jacket and a down coat done at Vinnie’s. Both quite expensive items and needed shoulders, sleeves and length adjusted, they came out perfect! If you have expensive, complex tailoring works needed to be done, this is the place to go! Also love the location, it’s in a professionally managed building with an entrance right next to the Ogawa cafe.

Absolutely amazing service. I was in a pinch for a last minute alteration for a bodybuilding bikini (not the typical piece to work with) and not only did she go out of her way to come to my house, she fixed it within 24 hrs and dropped it back off perfect. EXTREMELY reasonable price for the service. Couldn’t recommend her more!!!!
Never been here before. I needed my dress altered last minute for an event. I called this place 10 minutes before closing and Katya answered and told me to bring it in and she will get it done. Great location. I hopped on my scooter and took a ride over there. She waited for me to arrive (5 minutes before she closed) and allowed me to try on the dress and took my measurements. She was quick and efficient and extremely knowledgeable! I left after closing hours and the price was fine considering my request. I called 3 hours before pick up time and it was already done! My husband went and picked the dress up for me and said he was in and out. My dress fit like a glove! Perfect! I received so many compliments on my dress and felt like queen I am in it! I will definitely return here. Other reviews stated Katya is rude. But this Women means business. She is amazing.I got what I asked and paid for and I’m completely satisfied!
I brought a pair of suit pants with a broken zipper to be repaired last year, but didn’t need to wear it until today and when I went to put it on I discovered that they’d charged a very high tailoring fee and didn’t make the repair. Total scam operation.

This tailor was recommended to me but I am ultimately disappointed with the services. I brought in a bridesmaid dress for alterations. Alla was very helpful during the consultation and made great recommendations on what to change. However, I was very dissatisfied with the pricing (there was no initial quote) upon retrieving the dress as well as about half of the alterations, which made the dress less wearable than it had been before. I spoke with several friends who have seen tailors in the greater Boston area and they were shocked at the price charged. I asked Alla for a partial refund, which she does not provide.
The staff has a good attitude, super friendly and professional service. They do provide free pick-up and delivery services, and I often send clothes here for dry cleaning.

My wedding dress was sent here for cleaning. It's very clean and the price is reasonable. They are friendly. If you have friends, I will definitely recommend it, because it's really good here.
I have no idea how the service went. I booked an appointment on Saturday at 1030 am. I waited until 1030 and no one arrived. I text the number that had originally set up my appointment time. The individual on the other line stated they do not open until 11am. I responded by saying, then why did you did you verify my appointment time at 1030 am? They responded back by saying oh sorry on my way, I had a flat tire. My question is which is it flat tire or you don't open until 11am? I informed them to not rush and I was going elsewhere. You decide if this information is useful. I am not here to slander. I am here to share my experience, that is all.
London suits are simply the best; I bought a great Tux at a great price. So far, so good. After a few months / of diet and exercise, I lost about 45 lbs, and I needed to fit the suit entirely. It was done within two days, delivered directly to my hotel in Vegas, and was a perfect fit. Like brand new! It was terrific,

I absolutely love them they are fair reasonable and you feel like you’re supporting a local business in your community. They made alterations to a jacket I had which were incredible and they were professional, kind and friendly absolutely 100% come here again.
Katja is an excellent tailor. I highly recommend her. I've been to many tailors in and around the Boston area and Katja is the best. She knows clothes, pattern cutting, and fabrics and can both make clothes from scratch and alter clothing. Katja made and/or adjusted virtually all of the outfits my mom and I wore for my wedding and they all came out beautifully and made us feel and look just as we wanted on this special weekend. For my mom, Katja adjusted my grandmother's navy silk skirt from the 1950s to fit my mom and made a top from silk from a silk fabric she helped my mom select. She also made a pink/gray tunic, scarf, and pant ensemble from scratch from fabric my mom brought her. For me, she made me a beautiful silk shirt to accompany pants I'd bought and helped me select the fabric, color, and pattern. She also made last minute adjustments to the waist, arms, and bust on two wedding dresses I wore that weekend (one for City Hall and one for the wedding). Katja is straightforward and knowledgeable and accommodating and I trust her completely to make and adjust my clothes! I can't thank her enough for all her time and help leading up to the wedding!
I had heard Newtonville Tailor was reasonably priced. Not true. The reviews also mentioned that the woman was rude. Very true. Bordering on contempt. I stopped in a little early before official opening just to pick up a jacket she had altered. She let me in, but glared at me, referred me to the hours of operation on the door, and suggested I take a picture of it so I don't make the mistake again.

When the zipper on a relatively new quarter-zip fell off, I asked the retail store if they would repair or replace it. They said no and suggested I seek a tailor. Back Bay Tailor attended me right away, repaired the zipper, and sewed it securely so it wouldn't fall off again. He would not accept payment. It felt like a neighborhood business interested in establishing long-term relationships with satisfied customers.
I have been using Alla Tailoring service for over 5 years, and I was never disappointed. She is very professional, respectful, knows what to do and how, always suggests what would look better. Prices are also very reasonable. I really recommend this place.

Alla is a magician. The silk dresses I took to her were small and did not fit my body shape. The dresses I picked up looked like they were made for me. I couldn’t figure out where she found fabric to let out or seams to take in. I am very picky and these were designer clothes. Yes, it was expensive but I got what I paid for. Thank you Alla.
Capitol Hill Tailor is wonderful. They are very welcoming, sweet, and professional. I had 3 bridesmaid dresses that needed to be tailored this summer and they all came out fabulous. Some of them even needed to be rushed and they were very well done with competitive pricing. I highly recommend CHT for your tailoring needs!
If I could give a negative star I would. I dropped my gown off at the beginning of July to have cleaned and preserved after my wedding. I told them I did not need it done immediately and the gentleman that helped me was kind enough to let me know it should be no longer than a month... So a month goes by... No call from anyone, so I call in. They said they were waiting for more gowns to arrive since it was an in depth cleaning and they preferred to do more than one dress at a time...ok, that's fair. So I wait
.. another month.... I call in again, dress still wasn't done but should be in about a week... Fine, I wait a week. A week goes by, I call them again, now my dress is cleaned but oh!? I wanted it preserved too? (I told them this when I dropped it off) well that will be another week! I waited AGAIN for a call... Nothing. I finally called them again today to see why it's take 5 months to have my dress cleaned. The man I spoke too stated he needed to call me back a few minutes later since the preservation person was or or some excute, didn't get a call for another 3 hours that it was in fact done and had been but NO ONE CALLED ME. I expressed my frustrations, and was told it was because there was a change in my name (updated my name to my new name with them so when I called in (because they never call me), I could give my correct name). Either way, under my old name nor my new name did I ever get a call. The person I was speaking to back pedaled a little bit and said it hasn't been done for THAT long... Which leades me back to it took 5 MONTHS with ZERO communication from this company at all! Not even an update, no call when it was done, nothing!
In the end they took a "discount" off my total but it was still $195 too much for the headache it took to just have my wedding dress cleaned and back in my own hands.

lady is EXTREMELY rude for no reason. plus very overpriced. go to perfect fit tailors and cleaners instead - 5 mins away half the price and kind customer service. fixed my zipper for 15 instead of 25. ill never take my business to such a disrespectful place.

Went in for a simple alteration—unfortunately now I have to take my dress elsewhere to be fixed. Also, heads up that there’s no real changing space/privacy, just a curtain tacked up in the corner. Owner is nice but unfortunately I can’t recommend for alterations based on my experience.
Did not feel welcomed and wanted to walk out but that would feel awkward since the place was so small. The pants she hemmed are still too long and the other pants she did were slightly uneven. Prices seemed fair.
This is the worst dry cleaners I have ever used. Brought a brand new never worn dress in to be pressed and it came back with multiple stains on it. I had to bring it somewhere else to be cleaned and pressed again.

The tailor here used to work at Saks and it shows. My new used shirts turned out wonderfully after bringing them here for fitting. The tailor at the Uptown Bee location had retired days prior which left this tailor picking up the slack, understandably causing service delays. Between the time I dropped my shirts off and the scheduled pick up time, there was a death in my family and I needed one of them for the funeral. I made a phone call and was told I would have the shirt that I wanted in time. When I arrived to pick it up, both of the shirts were ready! The work did not appear rushed at all. I appreciate the compassionate responsiveness to my needs as a customer. I will definitely recommend this place for alterations!
Very nice, patient and professional place, today they fixed a button on a corduroy skirt for me, made sure to match the linen in the back of the button to the rust brown color of the skirt. Very quick, I waited only 5 min and it was complete. Place was clean and organized. Staff were friendly. BUT big plus to curvy ladies, If you struggle with clothing that fit your hips but too big on your waist, this place is your holy grail . Easily accessible through Copley station.
I picked this this spot because the reviews were great, but unfortunately the alterations on my dress were poorly done. She had a great turn around time and the hem of my dress was well done, but I would not bring silk to her, as my dress is unwearable. I was a bridesmaid and needed the top of my dress taken in, but somehow the alterations made it so when I walked more than 10 or so steps, the inner lining would twist and the top of my dress would also shift. If I had time, I would have asked for changes to be made, but I was unable to. From the pictures you’ll see the side and back seam are on either side of my butt, the back zipper is across my hip and the top off my dress is significantly twisted to the point you can see my bra.
I brought a pair of flare jeans to hem that were too long for me with a broken zipper and it was quick and easy. I did not make an appointment, I just walked in and explained what I would like fixed. She had me try them on to hem them correctly and then I could pick them up in about two weeks. Pick up was easy: I paid in cash and although she forgot to fix the zipper, I pointed it out and she was able to quickly fix it right there within two minutes. I also tried on the jeans before leaving and the hem height was perfect. I would definitely recommend this tailor and I would return again.

I believe Goga is the wonderful woman’s name who owns this shop. She is absolutely incredible and I will only be taking clothes that I need tailored to her from now on. I brought in a pretty unique Grecian style maxi dress that was much too big for my small frame and small bust. The job was no easy feat and I doubt anywhere else would have been able to accomplish it, let alone be willing to take it on. Goga worked her magic and had the dress perfect and ready to go very quickly. The dress is now a perfect fit and it looks STUNNING. I will recommend her to any and everyone.

Bee does a much better job than other cleaners I've tried, the best possible in my opinion, and this has held true for over 20 years that I've been a customer. Bee also offers quality alterations / repairs at reasonable prices, not to mention pick up and delivery services. Hats off to Jay and his excellent team. They're the best!
This is the best place to buy suits from, they have a great selection of colors and styles. Their tailor Ben is the best tailor in town, he can get any alterations done as fast as same day deal, he is seriously the best. Besides their prices are really affordable since the business is now under new management, they do whatever it takes to make sure you look like a million bucks 😎
I have narrow shoulders and needed the sleeves and shoulders totally redone on my dress to fit my petite frame. I asked for slightly puffed sleeves that will compliment my arms and I am impressed. The consistency in the gathered hem and the crisp square angle of this puff/cap sleeve is really wonderful. I was hesitant because prices have increased from the previous tailor, but when you walk in and see the quality of the work +the beautiful changes to the work space, you'll see why.

Miracle workers!!! I have a fairly large rug (8'x5')that was soiled by our family dog (I'll spare you the gruesome details, but yes, it was the worst stain damage a dog could do with both ends of his body. If you're not squeamish then feel free to ask.) We tried spot cleaning but that did not work and the smell was just about the worst thing I've encountered so far in all my years of pet ownership. The damage was deep in the threads/weave of the rug. I thought it was ruined until my girlfriend made a few calls to some cleaners and happened upon Bee Cleaners. Right off the bat they were super friendly and helpful. They picked it up and 4 magical days later they dropped it back off. NO stain, NO smell! Perfect! I was concerned about the rug shrinking or warping and it looked almost as good as the day I bought it. All at a very reasonable price! Serious magical stuff, I think Bee's should change their name to Hogwarts Magical Cleaners.
What a great place! First of all the staff is super friendly and very efficient. The place is very big and clean, they have dressing rooms. I came in with a huge emergency and needed a miracle done within 48 hours, my wedding dress to be altered and Tulia saved me! She cut my dress exactly to the length I needed and she sewed it perfectly! She was super professional and very kind. They definitely gained a customer for life! Again, thank you so much!
TERRIBLE first impression. Would not recommend. Tailor on staff was rude and abrasive. When I entered the store, he was listening to music on his AirPods and did not bother to take them off to talk to me. I asked him about pricing for hemming and waist alteration on tuxedo pants, and for some reason, he berated me for even inquiring, saying that he has never heard of anyone who doesn't know tailoring pricing. I told him that this was my first time visiting a tailor, and he couldn't believe that and berated me ever more for my ignorance. I was pretty shocked. I turned around and walked out. Not sure how this place makes any money with such awful customer service. The place is also messy. Look elsewhere for tailoring needs - this place doesn't respect your time or money.
Had a suit for a wedding that didn't fit well at all. They were able to do a complete recut on the pants and overhaul of the coat, essentially a full remake. It was fantastically well done at a very reasonable price!! Will continue to make the drive to Denver for tailoring
Great first experience! I know that the front window is not really welcoming at first but as soon as you get in, you know you’ll be well taken care off. My blazer’s sleeves were a bit too short and I needed it to be fixed ASAP. Dropped it in the morning and got it back later afternoon the same with an amazing job done! I know where I’ll be taking my suits now. Thank you. Highly recommended!

Monica the seamstress is excellent. I ripped the collar of this shirt, and Monica fixed it perfectly. She mended the collar and stitched a new seam. You cannot tell it was ever ripped. She really is knowledgeable and talented. Simply the best! The price was reasonable. Thank you so much!

Terrible wash service my cloths can back disgusting and smelly I had to resend them out again and pay again for serivice they didn’t even come back folded run from there wash service terrible I actually want my money back that’s how bad and to boot they shrunk 5 shirts because they have no care or concern for people’s belongings 👎

I found my fairy godmother! I needed pants tailored at the last minute for a job interview that suddenly came up and the woman who does the tailoring here was wonderful and gracious enough, late at night, to say she would do it for me. She even finished them way ahead of schedule to make sure there was more than enough time for me to be ready. She and the lovely girl at the register, I do not know their names yet, were both two of the nicest people I've met. They provided me with more than exceptional service especially considering I was in a jam and the price was unbeatable. I thank them and bless them both. Even if I don't get the job, I just found a new dry cleaning service for me and my family. Nice clean place and very good people. I highly recommend! :)
The owner went above and beyond to make sure my suit was ready for a job interview. He even stayed open late to help me out! Excellent service.
