This is a charming bar, perfect for a date! I went there last night with my wife for drinks. It was pretty good. I got the banana Old Fashioned, which was tasty, more on the sweet side, and then I tried the Tooley Bird, a very interesting flavor. If you like smokey drinks, you will like this one.
I want to come back for dinner next time!

I hosted my boyfriend's 40th Birthday at Charlie's this month and it was amazing! Tali was very responsive and answered all my questions leading up to the event. Day of Melissa was our bartender and she was so quick and efficient, nobody was waiting for a drink for long. They also helped reserved tables for us at the Bonnie so anyone that wanted to continue celebrating could migrate there.

The space was pretty comfortable for our group (35 people) but it does get "crowded" if people all convene in the narrow part between the bar and the wall when getting food (food is set up in the back). However, we managed to just get groups to disperse more as there is plenty of space.

The drinks were excellent and everyone was raving about the cocktails - particularly the espresso martini and the mezcal cocktail (I forget the name).

The food was good but there were a few items that were fine not great. The carrot falafels were pretty dense and the mini burgers were a little dry because the patties were thick - could def benefit from a sauce on the side that could be added at guest preference. Additionally, it would be great if there was an option for chafing dishes or heat lamps as the food got cold pretty quickly. However, I do understand there's limited space and potential liability with a chafing dish option. Overall, everyone enjoyed but these small details would help elevate.

I would definitely host another event with the Bonnie team!

Lovely spot. Fantastic beertender. Lovely flights. Will be back!
We had our rehearsal dinner here on 11/9 in the “fish bowl room” for around 30 people. Everything was amazing! The passed apps were delicious and everyone was raving about the entrees.
Service was great! All the girls were really attentive and no one had to wait for drinks. Definitely would recommend for an event or group dinner.

Sara needs to re-adjust her attitude! She was mad i didnt tip when i was fast and straight forward....was in and out in less than 5 minutes i also was sitting right by the check stand! Im not sure about anyone else but i dont think walking 2 feet and serving 3 drinks deserves a tip! Pluss she is allready being payed to work so asking for a tip to be payed more is kinda disrespectfull when the work is easy and doesnt give issues. I seen a comment a below about a short haired blonde and i assume it was her being mentioned. Ill still be going there but if sara is the bartender ill be asking for a different one to serve me!

Be aware, they have a built in 18% tip to all tabs, probably why their service is so terrible. Literally had to wave down or shout out to the wait staff, not even our own, just to get any assistance. Food wasn't terrible, but didn't stand out either. The atmosphere was great, always is on the wharf, you could stick a MCD there and it would have had just as good of an atmosphere. Wouldn't go back

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Great neighborhood feel. My husband and son get pork schnitzel every time. Thai curry app is so good I could drink the broth! The beet salad is a perfect mix of flavors and a great addition to a meal. Chicken parm was rated by my son as one of best he has had. Poke bowl is a perfect lighter meal. Fra diavolo sauce is so flavorful but not too spicy. Buffalo cauliflower is a must try. Lightly fried and spicy! I can't wait to go back to try more items! The menu isn't huge but has a good variety. Everything we have tried has been so flavorful and delicious. Our new favorite Centre St spot!

We hosted our wedding at The Bonnie this October and it was absolutely perfect! We wanted to do something a bit less traditional and we had one of our first dates there, so it felt really special. We had just under 100 people attend and were able to do everything under one roof- the ceremony was in the back garden and with all of the greenery/Bonnie decor already in place, it looked beautiful. We added small personalized touches throughout the space but you really don’t have to decorate much- everything is already such a pretty vibe and they give you the option to use their flowers etc. Their Events Manager, Tali, is a dream to work with. She’s incredibly professional and has clearly been doing this for some time. The entire planning process was a breeze knowing that she was taking care of things. She was also very communicative over the course of the year leading up and we never had to question when/if things were being handled. If you’ve eaten here you know the food is delicious but they really knocked it out of the park! We are still getting compliments about the food and service. The bartenders and entire staff were so kind, quick, and fun to be around!! 10/10 from the moment we visited!

The Peppermint Club is refusing to provide refunds for a mistake their marketing team made. I requested a full refund for the Ben Ottewell & Ian Ball (of Gomez), and Buddy concert. When purchasing tickets from their website, it displayed Buddy, the hip hop artist, image as the performer; however, Buddy confirmed on 11/5/23 that he was not the artist performing. I discovered it was the alternative rock group Buddy which was confirmed when I called the venue the concert was held at on 11/5/23.

Ticketmaster said the event organizer, The Peppermint Club, is not issuing refunds unless the show is canceled; however, they advertised the wrong artist. Whether the show is canceled or not does not negate the fact that they falsely advertised an artist that was not performing and received compensation under false pretenses.

Peppermint Club’s mistake resulted in me purchasing a concert ticket for the wrong artist and hundreds of dollars on a flight to LA for the concert on 11/6/23. I have sent messages and yet to hear a response. What a horrible establishment!

Searching for a new dining experience brought us to The Brighton. The ramp outside leading to the hostesses put the biggest smile on my face walking in. It was a lively scene with everyone watching football and the beautiful views of the river. Our server and service was excellent! I tried the chicken curry and my bestie tried the salmon and shrimp cocktail. His first bite of his food made him exclaim in joy. My curry was so flavorful with the perfect amount of heat that warmed my heart. And the prices were perfect! No need to break the bank or sell a body part. If you're looking for something fun, fresh and reasonably priced dining, check out The Brighton!

Made a reservation for 8 on a Friday night and I’m glad we did! The place was packed! Our appetizers and drinks were great. We were sad that they were out of empanadas. Only unfortunate thing is that the restaurant is open until 1 AM according to the website but the patio closes at 10:30 so we were essentially kicked out then.

Really good experience! Decided to check out the Wharf yesterday and found The Brighton, the food was really good, the service was prompt, and the atmosphere was electric! It’s right near the water, plenty of tv’s (including a projector where they were projecting a game), plenty of beer selections and great cocktails as well! Our server checked on us on a regular basis and was super friendly. I will definitely be back!

Very cozy and clean restaurant, I love the environment and polite staffs, tasty plates and fairly price. Totally worth it.
The Pretzel is so soft inside & crispy outside, and huge! The mustard & beer cheese served with it is good. Very much shareable, took 3 of us to finish it.

Pony is where the queers live and we love it. Scary-ann checking ids sets the tone. A much more diverse crowd, in all senses of the word, though it does lean young. When you’re going out to the bars, you gotta hit up Pony!

Been here a few times and it never disappoints. I love love love their apple, walnut and goat cheese salad, but with their balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Our waitress Rebecca was on top of her game. My lovely sister in law took me out for my birthday. We got to eat outside on this gorgeous October day.
I’m extremely upset by this. I have ordered GLUTEN FREE before and I have Celiac disease. They labeled my order GLUTEN FREE yet here is a GLUTEN bun. The manager told me “what do you wanna do about it” over the phone, not professional at all. I have been here before and had great experiences. I’ve had a severe gluten allergy (celiac) for a while now to know that my food is NOT gluten free. I don’t care about the refund. I want them to DO BETTER!!! Acknowledge when someone has an ALLERGY!!!!!!

Me and my wife Lauren just recently tied the knot at the Bonnie this September. I cannot say enough about the professionalism the event manager Tali displayed during the whole process! The food was amazing and both she and the staff were on point all night. It rained on our day but that didn’t stop us from having the time of our lives . We will always have a special place in our hearts for this establishment and highly recommend it to anyone looking to have a wedding there.
With great appreciation,

If we could leave 6 stars, we would! We are so beyond thrilled with our event at The Bonnie. We had a pre-wedding party for approx 85 people in the courtyard and oak room. The drinks were well-crafted and tasty, buffet food was prepared beautifully (everyone raved about it) and the venue was just perfect for our needs. We couldn’t speak more highly of our Event Coordinator Tali, and the entire staff. She made the whole party planning thing fun for us, and was extremely attentive to our needs, our wishes and our many questions. The day of the event was super smooth: we had live music set up in the back corner of the courtyard, and we even made our own playlist to have running though the restaurant’s speaker system when the band wasn’t playing. It was a vibe! Would highly recommend The Bonnie if you’re looking for a unique private event space in NYC!

My husband and I were visiting Connecticut and showed up at this brewery before they opened. We were sitting at their outside patio and the owner, Steve, came out and greeted us and let us in to have a beer! Steve chatted with us at the bar and told us his story while opening up for the day, such an incredible guy!!! Beer was great and the inside atmosphere is decorated so cool with plenty of space and seating. Highly recommend!!!

I love this place! I almost always get the same thing - the poke bowl - and it always satisfies. Great atmosphere and service. Just what you want in a neighborhood pub.
Locally owned brewery! I absolutely love this place. They have a great take on German pub influenced food! They always carry the best ciders, too! Staff is friendly and attentive. Chili Thia, sweet potato fries and wedge salad with salmon is my favorite! Even if you have to park a block away. It's worth the short walk.

Great birthday dinner on a Friday night. It was very busy, we made reservations and was glad we did. The service was excellent, very professional and pleasant. The drinks and food was all very good with large portions. Parking was in a nearby lot that is free after 7pm.
A very nice evening.
This place was awesome! The ambiance is definitely on point. They have many options for seating including a nice outdoor area. We didn’t get the food, but the menu sounded delish. The beers were really good. I had “we used to be friends” and tasted a few others - all very good. Johnny our server was super cool, very attentive and informative on the beer selection. Definitely do not skip this place!
Excellent food, great portion sizes and fun atmosphere. Great for our family with three kids, who colored, read books and enjoyed the food! The tiramisu impressed and surprised us the most. The green pesto short rib pizza was so delicious, I’ll be trying to recreate at home.
My family and I headed to Surfridge after a nice day enjoying the Essex railroad. We hadn't eaten all day and were ready to EAT! Our waiter Alex was very attentive. We ordered quite a variety of things to try because everything on the menu sounded so good, and it was! The short rib and meatball pizzas were so tasty with a thin crust that is our favorite. Don't hesitate to try the smoked fish dip, wings or Brussel sprouts. My husband had a stout that he enjoyed and the rest of us had delicious cocktails. We live about an hour away but won't hesitate to come back to enjoy more of the beers and goodness from the menu.

Ate here while on vacation with the girlfriend. The food was amazing and well priced i think. for an appetizer, two meals a soup, some dessert for 2, & an alcoholic beverage it just short of 90 bucks well worth the money. & the service was spot on. She was very cheerful and smiley as well as very attentive to our needs and more 🤓
I'm from New York, & let me tell you the pizza here is top notch. The scallop and bacon pizza & a classic pepperoni the best I've had in a while here & New York. Thin & crispy not too much cheese or sauce. Perfect, Best place for pizza in Plymouth. How ever we were a little disappointed on the surf & turf came out raw and the sides were ice cold. Also thank you to the manager Lloyd was quick to fix the mix up and accommodate us.

This place is amazing!!!
We are a gluten free family and have never ever seen such a wide gluten free menu selection before. My kids went crazy! (We had to promise them that we will visit again so they can try the rest of the menu)
The hostess in the front was great! Upon learning that my kids were hungry she tried to accommodate us quickly. I’m truly grateful for that.
Our server, Maddy, was very attentive and patient.
The food was great! We ordered fried calamari, fish and chips, onion rings, Cajun shrimp tacos, lobster roll and grilled cheese lobster sandwich. The taco was falling apart and they were quick to replace it for us.
Overall, amazing experience.

First-time customer. Small brewery. Had a good variety of brews on tap and in the can. Had 4 marked as sold out that I would'veliked to try. Modern art decor. Was very warm inside, but it was very hot outside. I will return on a cooler day, hopefully to sample other brews if in stock...
A great selection of beers. Unlike a lot of breweries here, they have a larger selection of Non IPAs. Their beers are, for the most part, subtle in flavor and nothing will over power you which grants them great drinkability.
The Silver Sage Pale is one of the most unique beers around. They use a little bit from sagebrush to make the beer and it's beyond delicious.

I think the staff were a little perplexed as to why two Brits would go all the way to DC and go to a British themed pub. However, this place is nothing like a British pub decor-wise and I don't think it's trying to be. The menu had some British staples like fish n chips and Shepard's pie (which was made with beef for some reason). However we were looking for crab dip and lobster rolls, something never found on a UK pub menu.
I thought both were great! It was my first time eating these dishes so I'm unsure how they are meant to be but it doesn't matter because they were delicious.
Cocktails were good too. Service was fine and wait times were reasonable, can't complain.

Parking can be a real pain here during even moderately busy times downtown. Plan to drive around 5-15 minutes waiting for a spot to open.

Good selection of beer. Food is average pub fare and nothing spectacular. Atmosphere is frequently busy and a little loud. Table service has always been fast and friendly.

The credit card surcharge means Bullpen is off my list of places to visit though. They're not the only ones doing it, but who carries cash anymore? I prefer not to be penalized for being part of the "tap and swipe" world.

Whoever the heavier set blonde haired bartender was needs to readjust her after morals after kicking me out for asking an old man not to stare uncomfortably at me. Probably was only worried about her tip from a regular so you guys just lost a group of customers that come in on the daily. She was there 1PM on June the 20th, don't become a bartender if you can't properly protect your customers.

Had a very delicious meal that was well prepared, tasty and used fresh ingredients. Service was good and Sever was attentive to needs. Good sized portions. One thing you need to be prepared for is the tables are close together. I had one party on one side that was having a quiet conversation and then unfortunately had a party of four on the other side that was to loud. Overall a very good experience and looking forward to going again

Fantastic staff and it's our go-to spot for Nuggets during regular season. Only one of like 3 places that has Altitude. All the sandwiches are great and drinks are cheap!
This was my third time stopping here. They make solid beer plus their own line of cocktails. Usually something for everyone. The staff is courteous and friendly. The service was on point with food coming out in a timely matter and hot. I enjoy the atmosphere here as it has a very shoreline feel to it. But be aware that this place can get busy during the summer and expect to wait for seating. The bar does not hold many seats and while they do have a very nice outside patio the inside and outside can fill up quickly. There is plenty of parking and you can walk around The area and check out the Essex steam trains. It's definitely recommended if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed right in the back of the witch Hazel building off of route 9 quite easy to get to.

Boring, one note food with zero freshness, diversity and flavor. Everything is just overwhelmingly salty with no sides or veggies to go with. A huge lack of selection and poor value for food with no sides. Outside of okay mixed drinks this place is definitely sub mid category. My wife and I had the burger, chicken Sandwch and grits which we could not finish do to the salt and left hungry. Will not be returning.

It was my first time at Peppermint Club. Nice venue, decent sound system, it's in a safe neighborhood. This night was a younger crowd. The drinks are on the slightly higher side $20 for a vodka tonic. $7.00 for a Bud Light. Parking is $20. There is very little street parking, and there are 8 spots in front of the Bank of America. Other than that, it's all resident permit. Expect to pay for parking here. All inall, I recommend the Peppermint club.

One of my singer friends invited us for her performance in this little bar on Beverly Blvd. It is a pretty cool place, even though it’s very small, but it’s a fun retro vibe. The bartenders were nice. Wish they would list parking information on their website though. We did a street parking for 2 hours $4.
Great food, pretty good beer, outstanding staff. This is one of my favorite pizza places. The Mediterranean salad is my favorite salad in Yuba/Sutter/Marysville. The carrot cake keeps me coming back.

The red beer is my favorite, but they only have it in spring time. The heff and the pale are really good, too.

Cool place for a bite and some good beers. Came down to Essex for the steam train and it was closed still so we came here for some libations and a place to hang with our baby. Very kid friendly, had some great guitarist playing some classics. Tried a couple different beers and they were all great, we are definitely looking forward to coming back again for some of their wood fired pizza. Looks like they have some great mixed drinks as well. Our delightful waitress told us they only carry local Connecticut liquors which is great. All in all, I would highly recommend this place for some chilled out atmosphere and some good food, and great beer. And again, bring the kiddos, nice oasis for them to run off the extra!

Decent neighborhood bar. Food is sub par for a place that calls itself a pub. Regular bar food, but none of it is very good. Decent pool tables, but there is only one cue that isn't broken beyond use.

Edit: they have upped their prices to the point it isn't worth going anymore. The whole place has gotten grimy and is kind of falling apart. Food has gotten worse (which I didn't think was possible) and the atmosphere is just desperate. The bartenders are cool, and so a good job of keeping things light and fun, but there is only so much they can do.

More focused on friends outside than to service inside. Not only that, I paid cash, and she still charged my card. Sad people have to steal to make money.

Cozy atmosphere in a nice brewery. Limited beer selection but the tasty. Great German dishes but a bit on a salty side for my taste, great schnitzel. Looking forward to try pizza.

A very nice little neighborhood cafe. I loved the food and the environment. Had poke and watermelon cocktail and do recommend them both. Will visit again.

It's a bar with character and a good selection on the shelf. Short rib sandwich came recommended and I was impressed by how tender it was, if not a bit too salty for my tastes.

Glad we made the effort to walk here from downtown. (Not the best neighborhood to walk). Pretty busy for an afternoon. Swing Shift is solid especially for a low a.b.v. beer. Jalapeno/Habenero was crisp with heat. Silver Slugger a nice Pale Ale.
Came in at lunch time, wasn't that busy which is great for someone like me. Tried the octoberfest beer it was pretty heavy on my palette none the less good. I got the Shepards pie, it came with a side of sourdough. And let me tell yea it's amazing to the smell to the taste. The customer service was great, very friendly and accommodating. They do only serve beer and wine so if you're looking for a more wider selection they have it in beer and wine. Definitely will come back again!

10-5-22 first time here. Cool joint, was not too busy. I sat at the bar and had the blackened chicken sandwich and local brew. The food was good and so was the beer. Service was fine.

Mac an Cheese with the short rib was very good an the beef pot pie was delicious!!!!! We ate outside in a patio area. It was a nice late afternoon to be out having dinner with good friends!
Went here for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. The Hawaiian quesadillas were amazing! Never would have thought about teriyaki sauce and pineapple on a quesadilla but it definitely worked. My wife could've eaten the pimento cheese dip by the gallon.
I would love to give this place 5 stars, however service is slow whether it is busy or not. The service is friendly and helpful, there just isnt as much checking up as there should be, especially at a brewerry when the beer is good and you want to order more! So just make sure you aren't in a rush or have plans to be somewhere and you are golden.

Let's get to the good stuff...THE FOOD!!! The food is delicious and there is a decent variety of German, Irish, Italian, and classic American dishes.

There is Stromboli, pizza, schnitzel with spaetzle, pasta dishes, burgers, and soft pretzels, and German sausage and saurkraut and red cabbage and just many delicious food items. Those are just a few that we tried and liked! But everything looked and sounded delicious so it was hard to choose. But everything that was ordered, was all FANTASTICALLY tasty!

Recommend if you don't have any plans and want some tasty food and good beer!

This review is for the $8.00 burger and fries - it is a great deal for a great burger and fries.
This place has a great feel to it. I would recommend sitting inside rather than outside unless you want more entertainment than you were looking for…..

Don't come here for the drinks. It's not their strength. I had the wine, it tasted like very citric feet.

Was fun to come to a Triple D spot our first night in Denver. We came for the short-rib sandwich an it didn’t disappoint but I have to say they knock it out of the ballpark with their brussel sprouts!! Fun place!

What a great place! Cool options, relaxed vibe, and attentive staff. Menu had something for everyone and very eclectic choices as qell as traditional pub fare. Apps include a variety of wings and Buffalo cauliflower. Burgers(Veggie too), quesadillas, salads, chicken, sandwiches, fish/chips, and more! Specials were fantastic. Everyone was thrilled with their meal. Eggplant fries were phenomenal. Main dishes were priced between around $12-$15. TVs with games, bar and table seating provide a place to gather with friends are just chill at the bar.
They had some tasty beer. A great burger and pizza. I like the decorations of the place, it reminds of beer fest. The service was awesome. But the star of the show for me is the mozzarella bites. I enjoy a good mozzarella stick but these mozzarella bites are on their own level of enjoyment.

I love great veggie burgers and they did not disappoint. Absolutely loved their food and drinks. Sit on the patio and take in all the people watching Colfax has to offer. From street fights to homeless characters you won’t be disappointed with the top notch people watching. Would highly recommend trying this restaurant! We called in after a long day travelling as it was just along the road from our accommodation. Great food, service and beer - what more could you want and all at a reasonable price. Big screens showing sport as well.

Great little brewery and good atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and the bear is good.
Real good beer. Glad to see a brewery that has a nice mix of styles not just a ton of IPA

I’m almost afraid to leave this review in order to keep the secret but... this place is one of the best brunches in town. Hands down. Prohibition is often the answer after seeing a long line at some other trendy spot and then remembering to skip it and go to this go-to. It’s also home to one of the best sandwiches in town: the house pastrami. Which can also be found for brunch in the pastrami hash. On top of that, this is a great sports bar. I’m not a big typical sports bar fan even though I love sports. This is the perfect combo of great food, good cocktails and they’ll have my game on.

This bar is easily in my top three bars in the entire world. The music is always on point, especially if you have good taste. The bartenders pour amazing drinks, and are always incredibly welcoming to queer and queer allies. The balcony is the best place to spend an evening or an afternoon. This place is for all of you out there who have an edge, whatever that may be. No top 40!
My experience has been much better than these recent 1 star reviews. I've been here about 3 times in the last month to see friends bands play. It is nice venue to see music. The wood work on the walls is amazing and does the acoustics of the club better than other music rooms. The crowd does seem a bit full of themselves but it is Beverly Hills.

Super friendly queer crowd, I definitely felt at home and safe there. The drinks are cheap and they have Karaoke on Tuesdays! Prepare yourself for some obscure taste in music (which I absolutely love!) and have fun singing along. Definitely my favourite bar!

Came here with a few coworkers for happy hour on Taco Tuesday. We tried most food items on the happy hour menu, we loved everything! The brussel sprouts with bacon and pecans were and polenta were unexpected hits! The tacos were a little small, but we had so much food, it didn't matter too much. $5 margs were another plus. Great atmosphere. Good service.
