Nice, cozy, friendly, local bar with good food and capable staff. Family friendly for breakfast hours.
I’m not sure what the point of leaving a phone number with take out orders is if NOBODY CAN BE BOTHERED TO CALL when they are running over 45 minutes behind on take out orders.

Arrived to get my food and was told they were running 15 minutes behind because they just took a $500+ order (not my problem, I am not sure why they felt this was relevant). Left to wait in my car. Returned in 20. Still no food for another 20 minutes. No comps, refunds, nothing.

Communication would have gone a long way here!

I gotta say the food was okay. I liked my build my own pizza Garlic crust mozzarella marinara sauce and sausage bacon pepperoni. It was a little on the burnt side but ok. My husband had the Meat Lovers calzone to well cooked burnt on the outside to crispy for him but the stuffing was good. The service was wonderful Cadence was awesome kudos to you girl and still loving your nails 😁. I ordered a Windjammer it was delish totally recommend that hats off 🎩 to the bartender. So if you are in the Maine area of Waterville give them a visit ask for Cadence but remember to let them know not to crispy.
We were apart of a bar crawl and they were our last stop. We go got to the door and the guy told us we had to wait, another guy came to the door and told us we had to wait 40 minutes (the crawl would be over by then) we said we’d just go to the bar he said we had to wait another 15/20 minutes…and while he was saying that a white couple walked passed us and he let them right in no questions asked. Idk what the circumstances were but we immediately turned and walked away because we simply did not feel welcomed. We couldn’t even complete the bar crawl. I don’t believe I will ever recommend this place, we were mortified.

Food was alright. For a party of two, slow service. At the end the night bartender on the night of 9/16 questioned his tip of 10%. On a order of 2 meals 2 drinks and 2 shots.
Our food came up to a total of 31 alone. Drinks totaled up about 70 for two shots and 2 Long Island ice teas. Better pricing in many places in the surrounding area.
Unprofessional on all levels he barely did anything. Weird place 10% was good enough.
My cousin and I came from Myrtle to the charlotte for the day and at the time we were looking for a good place to eat and found the French quarter and it didn’t disappoint. The staff were hospitable and friendly the food was great (we got the wings) and Libby are bartender was very friendly and fast to serve! Made great conversation and was very kind. We will definitely be coming back next time we visit!

We stopped at Tap 99- first time adventure in DC to any restaurant/bar! This place had great outdoor seating! Of course, football session has begun, tennis matches and all; so the theme for this place is SPORTS! With its large television screens all over the restaurant inside, the most amazing thing is the abundant taps located horizontally throughout the restaurant where you personally have access to pour your own brew with keycard system!!! I ordered a ginger ale and buffalo hot wings! Yum ! Instead of eating inside, we chose to sit outside in the cool air! “Oh What A Night “!!Fun! Fun! Yum!

The staff and ownership at this bar are incredible. We had an emergency and they all sprung into action immediately, providing water, ice and whatever else we needed (and refunding our tabs, which was extremely unnecessary). The owner even provided his contact info so we could provide him with updates of our situation. If you want to be in a safe environment where you will be cared for—go to the Brig!
Always consistent, always good, and there are so many great things on the menu, the biggest challenge is deciding what to order. Customer service is top notch, as EVERYONE is properly greeted upon entering the restaurant. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcome. I usually sit at the bar, and get some of the best service in town. Whoever is taking care of you, will always be on top of their game. Can't say enough. From ownership to management, to quality of service, to the quality of food, this is one of Charlotte's best.

Great service. Food was solid. Mediterranean appetizer was fresh and pizzas were solid. Solid variety of brews as well and super chill environment.
Food was very good. Fries were seasoned well and were delicious. Waitress was a gem. Our gripe is with their pricing. Menu says $14, bill says $14.31. Coke was $2.83 -- not a price you would expect. A second menu item was charged at a price different from the listed price on the menu. When questioned, the waitress had no good answers.

That's UNACCEPTABLE!! We will not return, ever.

Went there with a group of friends a few days ago. We were treated very badly by one of the male staff there. It was a Korean guy with a strong build and about 5’3, was wearing a hat. Extremely poor service and ignorant attitude. The food looks nice on the outside but tastes bland and nothing special. Terrible experience.
Food was great, our server was very nice. The only thing I have to say is since this is a certain day, certain food type place. I wish they had more vegetarian and pescatarian options for easy days, other than salads but for me as a meat eater, I was satisfied with my meal.

If you want to go to a chill, down to earth bar in Washougal, go to smeads. I'm in love with their fried pickles. The bartenders are all so kind and chatting with them is the highlight of my visit. My only wish is that they add a vegan burger to the menu 😉

Everyone is really nice here. I remember my first time coming here I did NOT know what I was doing and they were patient to show me the different twos and how to swipe the card. They host my running club after our run every Wednesday night which is really cool. We celebrated 2 years last night and they reserved the whole patio for us. I had a dog with me and one of the servers brought a whole dog bowl and refilled it . Great vibes. You pay what you pour so price is up to you

We stopped in for lunch following a medical appt. It was a Wednesday around 12 noon. The place was not crowded at all -- indoors nearly every table was vacant and outdoors a few tables were vacant. (It was a low-humidity day.) I ordered a pizza + a salad; he ordered a cheeseburger + fries. The pizza was very good and since I can't eat cheese, one of my toppings was comped. The smallest pizza was more than I could finish for a lunch -- or a supper, for that matter, unless I were famished. The salad arrived in a 5" square dish -- romaine, assorted greens (the arugula was a nice touch), shredded carrot, diced tomatoes and a cucumber slice or two -- plus the tasty vinaigrette. His burger looked delicious with the melted cheese (provolone, I think) dripping down from it. He usually orders medium-rare but the middle was more done that that. Still, he had no complaints and seemed to enjoy it. The fries looked fantastic but I had enough to handle w/ the pizza and salad. Our server, Amaya, was attentive and helpful. The industrial feel of the place is not the type of decor I gravitate toward, typically, but it was fine. A lot of the tables indoors are of the high-table and high-stool variety. There is a large bar and you do not need to wait to be seated if you sit at the bar. This was not a concern with the place nearly empty upon our arrival. By the time we left, a large group (a busload?) had entered and gone to some side room (? they disappeared somewhere) and quite a few other tables had filled up. The food was very good here. It was $40 for the two of us for lunch w/ no booze - just waters and iced teas. It was probably $48 w/ tip, if I know my hubby. If I had been by myself, I probably would have taken an outdoor table, but with hubby along and a high today of 86, we opted for indoor seating. Great to know that this option exists for the "it's Friday night and no one in Berks eats at home on Friday night" syndrome.

Great food and nice people. Small tavern style bar. Has good food and wonderful prime rib chili n prime rib burgers. Yum
Waited for slices of pizza… I understand the restaurant business. Instead of letting someone wait for two slices of pizza get them in and out. Not surprised this place has gone down hill. Hiring signs everywhere you look. Do better.

The fruit soju here is really good! You can barely taste the alcohol, just the watermelon and melon sweetness. The wait time is quite long, especially on a fri and sat night.

The Beer Garage in Brooklyn is a hidden gem that left a lasting impression on me. The inviting ambiance, diverse beer selection, and friendly staff, especially Maya the bartender, made it an outstanding experience. Maya's passion for craft beers and warm demeanor added a personal touch to the visit, making it a must-visit spot for beer enthusiasts and social butterflies alike. Cheers! 🍻

I went for happy hour with friends, and we got a few picnic tables outside. But that night was also trivia right next to us, and the announcer’s voice felt like it was in my ear. The volume was way too loud - especially since they had no more than 5 people actually playing the trivia. Otherwise, the beer was good and it was cool to spot a few congressmen.
I moves to Charlotte from NY 30 years ago and worked Uptown when there was only 1 high rise building and a lot of trees and woods. This place has been a staple in the Uptown area since then. The food is great and the service is just as great. The host is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Make sure to go on Friday and get the Friday Fish special. The dish is EVERYTHING.

Ooh, I loved all the choices available. There are healthy choices, my starter was the mediterranean sampler, fresh and tasty. Along with the many mouth-watering starters, don’t forget to ask for BEER! Flights are available for tasting. The desserts were horribly delicious, deep fried battered oreos? Enough said:) Bon Appetite!
Good place to hanging out with friends plus you get a free shot of Tequila when you order a Tecate
I was in the area for the week visiting some family and decided to take a solo trip out for lunch on Tuesday afternoon. I looked up local places to eat and found Portland Pie Co. I sat at the bar to enjoy a drink and grab some food, and had the pleasure of being served by Sophia. She was super kind and friendly, and really attentive during the entirety of my visit, despite also managing multiple other tables at once. I took a while to figure out what I wanted to eat, and when I asked for suggestions between appetizers I was choosing, she recommended me the spinach artichoke dip which was incredible! And I normally would order a meal too but the spinach artichoke dip was so filling I could barely finish it. Definitely recommend coming here if you’re local or just passing through the area. If I ever come back this way I’ll be excited to stop here for lunch or dinner again.

The Brig is a lively beer garden that offers a taste of Germany with its liters of brews and traditional eats. The spacious patio is perfect for gathering with friends and family, while the QR code ordering system adds convenience. The German beer selection is noteworthy, providing an authentic experience. The family-friendly environment and plentiful TVs make it an ideal spot for sports enthusiasts. However, the beer selection and service fall short of expectations, lacking variety and efficiency. Despite this, the overall atmosphere and concept of The Brig create an enjoyable experience, particularly for those seeking a relaxed and casual beer garden setting.

Food: great and delicious. It came out quick and it was hot and the servers were nice

Customer service in the front: the worst reception I've ever gotten. My friends got a table and we're waiting for me so I went up the stairs and was looking. The hostess greeted me and I said "I'm looking for my friends", her literal response was "if your friends are not here then they're not here" and they put a bad taste in my mouth. But I found my friends table at the end.

Well, after we had all the food and drinks and paid our bills, the same person came to our table and literally kicked us out with such bad attitude saying "there are other people waiting for the table" ok what can we finish our drinks at least. Yea I've never been treated this way and I feel sorry for other who will experience this again.

Please reconsider this venue option as they do not value their customer's satisfaction.

Great selection of food. Just passing through and it's one of the best pizza places I've been to.
Wifey and I love this place! Their pizzas are pretty good, their service is prompt, and not bad for the price! We usually take out since we don't live that far away but the atmosphere is similar to like a pub-style, so pretty casual.

We got the watermelon soju. We finished it in 30mins and didn’t get tipsy at all. I asked the server how much of soju they put in there and he said 1.5 bottles of soju. I know that’s not true at all. Will never go back and I tell my friends not to go there either. Definitely dilute the cocktail. Our server never showed up except to get the order and give us the check. We had to talked to two other servers who were actually doing their job tables next to us. I gave her 10 percent tip (I usually tip at least 20 percent or above of course) and she chased me down and asked me why I only gave her 10 percent lol. The manager needs to train their employees. Oh and also we had some pancake leftover and we asked the server(not our main server bc she was nowhere to be found) for the to go boxes and he brought us a container for soups……. I told him can I get the to go box for the pancake(i pointed to the pancake) and he was like “i gave it to you”….. so i said
“ yeah but this is for soups. we need the one for pancake” DO NOT GO HERE……I’m Korean myself and as Korean, I’m ashamed that this place is a Korean restaurant in NYC. For those of you who are not Korean, please don’t be disappointed in Korean culture bc of this place. They were for sure the worst Korean restaurant I’ve ever been to. If 0 star was an option. I would have given them 0 star. Their overall star rating is 3.9 (which reflects on other customers experiences as mine) and I know it won’t get better unless they actually care to work on their services and stop cheating on the cocktails.

Place is small and has low ceilings so it can get quite loud. We found ourselves having to shout across the table to hear each other. The service here was below average and we felt like the staff doesn’t really care.

We tried the watermelon soju and it was refreshing however I think we saw these watermelon bowls being reused so I’m not too sure of how sanitary that is.

There were some good pints though. The rice cakes, kimchi fried rice and army stew tasted like the classic dishes and were flavorful. The army stew was packed with lots of meat.

I can't rate the food because I just went in for drinks. I liked the vibe of this place. You can tell it's a neighborhood bar/restaurant but they are very welcoming. The place was full but not crowded. The space is medium but comfortable and there is plenty of outside seating. The bartender, Marcus, was very pleasant and so was the rest of the staff. The music was okay but the only thing is that it was all from the same group. The prices on the 🍺 and drinks were good. I'll definitely go back and try some of the food.

What’s the attire ?
It’s a bar, wear whatever you want!
How is the food?
Deep fried and unhealthy. Good drunk hunger food, but nothing outstanding or filling, basically just a big menu of apps.
What’s the atmosphere?
Loud and college-y. I enjoy coming here, but when it fills up it can be hard to walk around and pour yourself some beers. This is a great place to get those untapped check-ins!

Their arugula salad was great! Even though we didn’t have a reservation and sat at the bar, we received impeccable customer service. Le citron dessert was a great way to finish off our meal. It’s fun to look at, light and tasty.

This is the best Korean restaurant I had in New York. The BBQ squid is out of my mind, too delicious. The fried rice is no joke either, literally 10/10. Wish I can come back for this fried rice.
Also super strict about legal age for drinking, if any one of you don’t have ID then they won’t sell you alcohol, not even digital pic.
Great Burger!!
Went in just as we got to town because it was close to our hotel and we wanted to eat something quick.
Had speedy and friendly service, and an amazing burger. Not fancy or unique, just a good bacon cheeseburger that was done perfectly. Juicy with a great bun and fresh lettuce, accompanied with crispy Cajun fries. Perfect!
Paired it with a beer, and it was a great way to start our vacation in Charlotte.

Went there for a late night dinner. Thankfully, we didn't have to wait on line. The place is a bit overcrowded, which is typical for a polular pub in Korea Town. Definitely a place where you have to yell at each other in order for you to hear someone speak. Food was really good though! Whoever the chef is definitely knows how to cook! Although the portions were a bit smaller than we thought compared to the price. The service was polite. Do make sure to pay attention to your check as they already add a tip to the bill and yet there is another tipping option at the bottom.
It’s a neat place and the location is good. They didn’t have the Friday meal of the day which was interesting. The steak sandwich was really good and the server was courteous.

We’ve been coming for years. It’s a staple. So now, it’s official. The upgrades over the years have paid off. Major outdoor shed for supersized seating capacity. The neighborhood’s best Bloody Mary or Maria HANDS DOWN. Like I crave it when I have brunch elsewhere (and judge all others to their excellence). Now takes ApplePay too (leave the wallet at home). Nowhere else can you find a “hangover helper” which is simply a base of fries, scrambled eggs, cheese and sausage. Boo

So why not 5?! Well, they don’t allow any of the brunch items to be ordered during the week - despite having food items will all the items. One can dream…
Was there on a Sunday night. We were seated with menus and a specials menu by a guy. We were all set to order and our waitress informed us that we could only get pizza (so no salad for me) and stated, "I GUESS YOU DIDN'T GET THE MEMO". The women's restroom needs the vents cleaned. Our drinks took forever to be made and delivered. It seemed like the staff were all dazed and confused, as they had to keep talking to each other about who had what table and whatever else they kept chatting about. The pizza was great, could've been awesome if we had gotten the crust we ordered for our pizza.

I arrived here and went into the right side where I saw a crowded bar and a QR code for an app to pay but not order drinks. Apparently this was the wrong entrance. The other door brought me to the restaurant proper where I could order food and a drink. The burger wasn't that bad though the bun was awfully dry. I might've had more fun just getting drinks.

This is a small beer bar being run out of the back of the bigger restaurant next door. They have a small but respectable set of draft beer, and a menu with pizzas, a burger, and some other pub grub. Everything is “fine”, but the real issue is that the menu does not mention anywhere that the food is GLUTEN FREE. This is great for some, but if you’re like me and you’re wondering why the bun on your burger is so terrible, you’re left wishing you had known it ahead of time.

Great bar and restaurant!! I love this place so much! Great cocktails, delicious food and we always get the sticky toffee pudding for dessert which is really good! I love their bar food and pretty much everything. The vibe, food and service is just amazing! Highly recommend.

Great no nonsense bar with the best pickle, mushroom, and herring shot in NY. I'd give 5 stars for bud bottles over frosted mugs but that's just me

I can’t say enough good things about Sly Fox! Everyone is always so warm and inviting, the atmosphere is great, and the French fries are probably the best I’ve had in my life. Oh and the beer is amazing too. Looking forward to going back again and again. They also offer discount for military, and we did see some kids too so they are family friendly :)

Sports bar with 6 large screen tv’s broadcasting a variety of live games. Great for snacks and drinks while on the go. You order via an app - GoTab. This allows the staff to fill orders quicker than the usual ‘in person’ method. It was easy to use. The beer came quickly as did the food. The nachos could have had a bit more cheese as half of the chips were bare. The pretzel was REALLY GOOD as were the fries with malt vinegar. Portions were large. They have beer on tap and some in cans-they pour it in a glass for you. It’s an outdoor bar - most of seating is covered and the heaters do a good job of making it warm. Not upscale - very casual. If you are looking for fancy cocktails and appetizers, this is not the place. If you are looking for a no-fills sports bar, then look no further. The atmosphere was lively as it was busy for a Thursday.

Lovely location. And sincerely some of the greatest staff. Most definitely the lightest and fluffiest fish and chips if ever had. You’ll want a fork for this one! I’ll be staying near here and come back often. The bar section and dining section make is a good night spot to either start any the bar and transfer to table or Vice versa…I could stay a while. Oh heck, I did! And will again soon.

I love this little pub. The staff was super friendly, and the price was great. We got the Double Bacon Cheeseburgers and seasoned fries with cheese sauce. Both were amazing and the portions were gratuitous. Also loved the three slot machines they have on site. Next time we rent nearby we will be visiting for sure.

My son and I were cruising the back roads in the dog days of summer; looking for a bite and some A/C. Watched the Cards game and had a couple cold pops with their STL style thin crust meat lovers. Great pizza, friendly people, and with a generous tip I still left with change from a dub. Will surely stop in the next time I pass through.

How does this place not have more reviews?! The wings are the best I’ve had in Brooklyn. They’re easily accessible just off 5th, and their beer selection is solid. It’s a great addition to Park Slope. Service was so kind and contributed to a relaxed atmosphere.

2023 2nd visit: pro tip is to order a side of cornbread with your drink, you get two big pieces of cornbread for $4. I liked the breakfast martini but it was too sweet/too heavy on the coffee liqueur for me.

2021:
liked the belgian waffle and the cucumber Gimlet, service was fast and they have a strong covid protocol in place. At first when I realized it wasnt real maple syrup I was like Oh No but it was actually fine and tasted great. Personally I dont think the “mask up if server approaches your table” should be a requirement if the server themself is wearing a mask, but it doesnt detract enough from the experience to make me not want to come back and try other menu items. Will definitely plan on coming back and trying some other stuff!

This place was like an oasis!! The bar tinder was adorable, and very kind. The atmosphere was super cool. They made the best out off what they had. OH!!! The outside area was All The Way Official!!! I really liked it.. had a little fountain out there.. But.. After I ordered my burger, it took a while, about 15 minutes. There was no explanation, and (don't get me wrong she was great!!) But I felt that the server could have offered me my tots first.. or Something. Still.. it's a good place. Maybe a little too down home for me.

Little place but doesn't usually get packed.
Awesome that they keep cold water and cups out for patrons.
Great drink special for a bud and a house shot for $5.

This place is the true definition of a hole in the wall. Tiny little bar on a side street, we only found this place because they had a sandwich board sign that caught our attention. This bar is absolutely no frills. A few small tables around the perimeter, one communal table inside and the only staff was a single bartender. We recently spent some time here before a concert at Barclay's enjoying the amazing pickle shots. Great drink for just $5, even garnished with a whole pickle. Came back after the show for even more shots. Definitely recommend this bar, dont miss the pickle shots!

Great atmosphere, fantastic food. A warm, friendly place with hearty comfort food. The drinks were delicious, and the staff was extremely courteous. Can't recommend enough.

There were a lot of children here, who were a little loud. I'm not sure why, because otherwise it was a very classy and adult place. But besides that, I loved all of it.
Crystal was our bartender/server and was very attentive, friendly and helpful. $4 margarita specials and a pretty good IPA got us off to a good start while watching Game #1 of the 2017 World Series (AKA Dodgers Win!)

We came to try their Taco Tuesday, but I decided to have the Chili Burger with Fries Special ($10) instead. The burger and chili were very good with plenty o' onions and cheddar cheese. The fries, a basket, were hot, crispy (not burnt) and scrummy.

Taco Tuesdays gets you two tacos for $1 all night. The tacos are in pre-fab shells, but the meat was good and the lettuce, cheese, salsa and sour cream fresh. Whaddya want for 50 cents for cryin' out loud?

We returned for their Thursday night Prime Rib Special (starting at 6PM) - $15 for salad, roll, prime rib (10-12 ounces) with baked potato (add $1.50 for "loaded"), au jus, horseradish sauce, thufferin' thucatash, and dessert (I had the cheesecake). Without a doubt, it was the best $15 prime rib dinner i have had (ever) and as good if not better than many you will find at twice the price. My wife had the Monte Cristo ($11 plus $2 for fries vice chips/potato salad) and was pleased, not thrilled, with the outcome.

We recently moved in up the street and I think we may have found our new home away from home in Washougal. Well done!
