Point Plesant Beach is beautiful & full of fun things to do. It's a great place to relax with your family or walk along the boardwalk. Parking fills up quickly, so you'll have to come early, or you'll have to pack a lot of patience to look for a spot. Either way, Point Pleasant Beach is worth the trip.

Lovely little sand beach on the sound. The drive from the cliff is really nice especially during sunset (you get an expansive view of the water with all the lovely sail boats). Parking lot is ample parking spots. The beach could be landscaped a bit nicer but that’s okay…it’s really a local secret! Nice place for an afternoon summer stroll by the ocean. They have swings for both adults and children facing the water which is nice. Took my 7month old and he loved it.

French fries, Cheeseburger and etc.
On the New Jersey shore, Point Pleasure Beach Pavilion or Jenkinsons Beach as it is commonly called has arcades and smaller children oriented rides. The rides and arcade games are certainly not cheap but are not terribly expensive.
I haven't been there in the evening but during the day it seems like a friendly family oriented place. It is especially worth while way of spending a day if it's raining or cold and the beach is not a good idea.

Free parking, yaaaass! You do need to pay to get on the beach but thank you, amazing lady, she let us just sit on the beach and not pay! Quiet place for thinking and relaxing. What else you need

Beautiful beach ⛱️. Lots of room
Beautiful scenery in Long Island. Don't miss the best sunsets here! Also there is a food court at the beach where you can get lobster rolls, etc! There's a small playground and BBQ options for those who can access it.
Was looking for a beach outside of NYC. Found this beach on the top beaches to visit in Jersey, since it didn’t seemed that far I decided to go. Did not know this beach was privatized therefore had to pay $14 p/p because I went on a weekend. However, it didn’t bother me that much since they keep the beach clean. I was very happy to enter clean waters and feel safe. The waves were crazy that day but I really enjoyed myself and felt like a child again. I come from Puerto Rico and really miss the beach. This beach reminded me of home except that the water was freezing but after a while you just forget about it. My friend had an ankle cast and they kindly sat her in a beach wheelchair and took her to the stop we wanted to be.

Things I didn’t like is the restriction of the size of cooler you can bring, you can only swim until 5:40 pm and have to leave by 6:50 pm. Wish the swimming time and leave time were later. Also, finding parking in a weekend was a nightmare since there is also an amusement park and restaurants there.

It’s was a nice outing for the time I went. Was only there for 15 minutes. But I did see a spotted lanternfly in the area Im which is not good. other than that pretty sure everything went smoothly. Might have to update later
Asbury Park has become a destination for beachgoers since its revitalization. Hotels, restaurants, music venues and historic landmarks line this famous boardwalk. We visit often with friends and love the beautiful beachfront. A hidden gem of the New Jersey shore!
Love coming here early in the morning and walking the boardwalk. It's so peaceful and serene. The old architecture of Convention Hall against the majesty of the ocean, sun rising above the horizon just brings a sense of zen.
During the day, it's a fun, busy place with great eats and views. The beach can get a bit crowded, but it's well worth coming and checking out.
Amazing spot! Me and my girls came here on a Friday afternoon—there was live music, so many amazing food options, good customer service, and the vibes were perfect. Prime place to go for a beach day. Five stars!
Definitely beautiful and a nice boardwalk.
Charging to enter will never be normal or right (why tf does govt take our money for taxes for? fyi, they charge more kids!)
Food a little on the high-end as far as prices go, but many places to eat and get a drink.
I loved it! I'd never been to the Jersey Shore before so nothing to compare it to but I found it clean with friendly people and vendors. A wonderful 1st experience
Fun boardwalk with a lot of attractions including an aquarium and arcades. The beach access is either cash or card. There is also a small amusement park with rides for adults and children.
I think that the Town is really starting to move in the right Direction. For one the Real Estate Empire is Super and Growing... when there is all new Architectural Buildings it's a Nice feeling. The Multi-Million Dollar Landscaping in the City is Beautiful from one end to the other, it's amazing, most along the Beach. The Arts, The Music, the Restaurants are super Nice friendly great food nice atmosphere, fun, many Ocean views. Asbury Hotel is really clean and fun with music and care...the Asbury Park Police Department has everything covered and I see no problems. The Asbury Park Police are visible and they want everyone to enjoy themselves in a peaceful way. I see them all the Time. With crowds like this here it's Vital to have good Great and many Police Officers around and they are Visible. I find that comforting. I have been helped to many times to count. Thankfully!! I always enjoy the Variety of things to do here. You can just walk on the boardwalk, go shopping, lay on the beach, go swimming in the ocean, take your kids to the sprinkler park, eat at a nice restaurant, or get a satisfying snack, a refreshing drink, and so much more. Enjoy every minute. 😁

Spent Sunday afternoon on the beach with some friends. The beach was clean, not overcrowded, and we were all treated to a group of people being Baptisted! I wish I would of thought to get a few pics. Further, it was only $9 per person for the day. You can bring a cooler for food and drinks if you want, or there are dining options on the boardwalk. The only possible drawback is the parking, so make sure to go early or bring a bike to ride from your car to the beach. 🏖🌊🌞🐳

You can't go wrong at presque isle beaches; however, what kept this beach from getting 5 stars was the amount of rocks you had to walk through to get to the sand in the water. This beach did have a lot of areas for people to lay out their towels without feeling overly crowded. There are a lot of areas that offer shade from the trees without leaving the beach and there were bathrooms. The parking lot was big enough that finding a spot wasn't an issue. It was a beautiful day and the water was really clear.

Found this hidden gem while visiting my friend in highlands. Perfect spot to bring your behaved pets, go fishing, listening to music and tan and cheers your best mates w a cold one.
Great beach, not too busy. Good food and rides for the kiddies. Love the games. Had a great time with family
MUST GO BEFORE 9AM AND PARKING IS FREE, this is a great place to walk, bike and walk the dog, go extra early, I would go from 6am to 9am, because parking is free up to 9am and we rode our bikes all the way to Belmar, so much fun, riding next to the ocean!

I love Point Pleasant. I have since I’m a child. Beautiful, clean sand. Maintained well. Fun boardwalk with plenty to do. Lots of good food to choose from. I’d have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the prices!!! Anticipate paying handsomely to park, get on the beach, eat, and play an arcade game or two. It was never the less expensive beach on the Jersey shore but this year the prices knocked me for a loop.

This closing time is misleading. The kitchen closes at 7 PM the latest, but sometimes 6 PM if the weather is no good.

I was there Friday evening at 8pm to grab a bite. All food vendors closed and it had only started to just begin to dribble. I came because it said 10pm closing.

Food, drinks & live music with ocean views. Great way to spend a sunny day!
The Asbury Park beach and boardwalk of today are not the same ones I knew growing up. Today they are full of businesses, beachgoers, foodies and people who just want to enjoy the sounds of the waves. The boardwalk has been refurbished, and there are many new restaurants and hotels. In addition, to famous landmarks like the Stone Pony where Bruce Springsteen got his start. The boardwalk itself is rather accessible, it could get bumpy at times. There is access to the beach as you can see in some of the photos. However, it only will let you go halfway to the water. This is great for a day trip, or a weekend trip so long as you don't stay too close to the beach as the hotels are rather pricey. Head on out and enjoy yourself!

Small and pleasant
Love it, fun place fot the entire family! Several restaurants, the beach, the carnival rides, aquarium, Beach, shopping. Just keep in mind that once Memorial weekend hits, it's going to be super pack thru the end of summer. You can still try to see if they have summer rentals or apartments. You can always try to find parking on the street, but those goes extra fast. You can also pay by the parking lots or just take the NJ transit train from New york or Newark Pen Station

Really nice beach park although I wouldn't really say it's a beach more of a bay with a sand area to relax. Water looks clean enough to go in. This isn't a typical beach with waves. I saw some folks in the water. 1You do need to pay for parking. There is also a nice boardwalk.

A bit rocky for a stroll and cold in December. Probably good fishing since there are a bunch of stations along the seawall. Probably a safe place too since there are a bunch of cameras on the gazebo.
Wow! What an amazing day! The water was delightful and couldn't ask for a better day at the beach. Loved it!

Walked from Aberdeen sea wall to the Cliffwood beach. Nice 0.5 mile clean and well maintained walkway leading to a gazebo and then on to the Cliffwood beach. It’s a nice place for sunset walks, overlooking the water and you can even see the NYC skyline. The Cliffwood beach itself has lot of debris and even garbage and lot of people with their fishing lines, sometimes making it difficult to walk on the water side at the beach.

When Our Kids were younger, My Wife & I would take them swimming to Beach 10, Otherwise known as BUDNY BEACH. All of Us would cherish Our Days at PRESQUE ISLE STATE PARK bc of the Beautiful surroundings & the Great Sandy Beaches & the cold water of LAKE ERIE. Our Kids would look at Beach 10 as Our private swimming Beach & Many other Families would come & enjoy the quiet area & the sound of the water hitting the beach. We would come up from PITTSBURGH to go camping & after We set-up Our campsite, The Kids would ask Us to take them swimming at Beach 10 (BUDNY BEACH) bc they always thought of that as Our swimming spot.
Decent beach, not good as Florida beaches. Does the job, not too busy or far from other parks.

Great history here in fact there is a corner section covered with trees that is hiding the foundation of an old, once beautiful, swimming pool. The blue walls are still visible but be wary of ticks.
After a ride from Leonardo, we bought some pizza and stooped with the kids on this nice hidden beach ! Great time as you can find some wooden tables. Highly appreciated !

Belmar has a wonderful family friendly beach. There are parks for children lining the beach front. There's a mat walkway running down the beach on all entrances that makes it easy to bring strollers or beach caddys right onto the beach. The beach isn't so long that you're walking forever to reach the water. It has Playa Bowls, Dunkin Donuts and a few other places across the street where you can easily grab bags of ice, ice cream or lunch. I was able to run and grab my son chicken fingers instead of having to leave the beach. And bring him right to the park when he was getting antsy. The closest park was visable from our things and a 1 min walk. Perfect beach.

Great NJ beach. Haven't been to Belmar Beach in a very very long time and I'm not sure why. The beach is super clean very well maintained. The people on the beach weren't loud and where enjoying themselves. No real boardwalk. There's a walkway that runs the length of the beach and Ocean Ave. No attractions, there are a few playgrounds for younger children but I don't know how they can use them during the summers blazing hot sun. A few eating joints along Ocean Ave to get a slice or quick bite but not much else. Very relaxing beach. Easy to get too adiquite of street parking. Water is still pretty clear sand is great. Plenty of security and lifegaurds during the summer. Will definitely go back.
