We really enjoyed our lunch here. The food was full of flavor. Everything came out in a timely fashion, and the service was very friendly. The prices were very reasonable as well.
I came here with my friend to specifically try the Bun Cha Hanoi. I’ve had it at a Vietnamese restaurant in Paris and it was amazing. I was slightly disappointed by the dish here. The sauce with the meat was not hot enough and the taste was a little on the sweeter side. Even though we didn’t enjoy the entree as much, we really liked the summer rolls with the pork a lot. So I would recommend that for appetizer.
Very good and friendly service. The sandwich was pretty big and taste good as well. The packaging was good as well. I would recommend this place to anyone who like to try Vietnamese sandwich in NYC.
I was craving pho and have heard this place is popular so decided to give it a try. There was definitely a line and a wait to get in on a Friday night but it moved fairly fast.
As some other reviews mentioned, they only take cash if you order off the menu with the wait staff. You can pay by card however if you instead use the QR code on your table to place your order on their online system and have it delivered to your table. I opted for this and everything came pretty fast.

didn’t order their specialty which was the fried catfish. just not a fan of this fish. but i’m pretty sure it was good as they couldn’t catch up with their take out orders which was mostly the fried fish. we had the fermented fish soup which was ok. i had better in the san jose area. nonetheless, i would still recommend it especially the fried cat fish
I love PHO, I’ve been to more than 100 Vietnamese restaurants and I usually get extra noodle on the side. This place charge $5 for the EXTRA NOODLE, noodle only.. I never seen the price before in my whole life. And the owner was really really rude about it. I won’t never visit this place. There are many other places. I recommend you to visit other restaurants
I love this place and would go at least weekly when I lived around the corner! It’s $10 for a great banh mi and I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my order. The owner is also really nice! The #2 spicy is my favorite, but all the sandwiches there are great. Cash only, but they have an ATM inside and there’s also a Chase Bank right around the corner.
My brother and I ordered the the chicken pho, beef pho, and the chicken wings. I would say the chicken pho was very light and refreshing, the beef was a little more dense but very flavorful, the wings were amazing even though they’re fried they didn’t feel heavy at all. The Thai tea was amazing, probably my favorite thing. The service was prompt and our server was very nice. The outside of the restaurant is very deceiving because once you’re inside you’re transported.
I’ve been to lots of Vietnamese spots in NYC, this one in Charleston remains my favorite. I make sure to stop by every time I’m back here. The flavors are sublime. They add crispy shallots to most of their selections which add a perfect, unique crunch.
The foods great, the service is great, and the environment is great.
Favorite dish is the Rice, Lemon Grass Chicken.
Favorite server is Ms. Rita (she has our order memorized).

In our Quest for the Best of NYC, we are looking for the best Vietnamese food. We may have found it. Hanoi House has good service, an interesting and curated wine list and superb food. We’ve eaten at Việt restaurants around the world and except for Vietnam itself, we usually scoff at their efforts. Not Hanoi House.

Fast service and the food is well made. The chef has such a sweet taste so everything is a bit sweet. Worth the try.
Great local spot in the west village. It's small spot but the food is really good. The service is prompt. We were able to get a table fairly quickly. But it can be tight. Not good for larger crowds but party if 2 to 5 ok. We had classic bah-mi sandwich it totally worth it. Also spring rolls and two phos the classic and Saigon shack one.
This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in New York City. They used to be on University Place. I’m glad they were able to reopen albeit a smaller but the same quality of food, service, and ambience. This restaurant is worth going to. My favorite dishes are Ga Nuong Xa and Bun Xao. Their food is authentic and delicious. The service is fast and efficient. The maitre D and staff are professional and yet warm and attentive. The price is very reasonable. I’m glad my go to restaurant is back.
Most importantly the soup here is DELICIOUS the house soup is one of my favorite soups in New York City! I’ve been 5 times! Their service & atmosphere could be improved, the hostess sat us right next to one of the doorways when there were plenty of seats available & a server spilled a drink on my girlfriend. Otherwise I recommend Hanoi house!
The pho or any soup here is always good. I tried the curry chicken wing soup and it was super great and affordable. Service is attentive as well.
Hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant I have ever eaten at. Everything we ordered was delicious. We were thoroughly satisfied and will be back!
I enjoy the food but it is as close to a vegetarian restaurant as can be while serving meat. Literally 3 finger sized pieces of meat on a $15 entree is just unacceptable. These are untouched, right out of the packaging. The second picture is the beef fished out of the pho soup.
Great food and fantastic prices. I came here at lunch time on Saturday, a decent queue outside but they are taking everyone’s parties down. I was solo and seated at the bar after about 10-20 minutes of waiting. Food was excellent, and good value it is easy to see why there was a queue outside. Other parties that arrived after me would have had to wait 30+ minutes for a table. Staff were very busy but attentive and friendly.
I was excited to try this restaurant out because of so many good reviews. We got there at 10:10 am on Sunday morning. There was already half way packed. The waiters and waitresses were nice a and attentive. However, the dim sum was not as good as we expected. They all tasted like from last night and re-heated. For the steamed dim sum, they are not even hot, most of them are lukewarm or even cold. We wouldn’t come back. The Yummy House in Tampa is much better tasted than this one.
Very popular, we had to line up outside to get a spot. I was happy with the grilled pork chop, shrimp, and spring roll vermicelli bowl I ordered. The pork chop in particular was really flavourful. Good portion size, and definitely good value by Manhattan standards. Note that they accept cash and not card (although looking through the reviews, it sounds like it's also possible to pay via QR code? we paid cash).
If you want to have a relaxing Vietnamese meal in the middle of the day, this is the place to go. We went there at noon and we could get a seat in about 5 minutes.

Ordered Pho togo. Food is cold and uncooked. Broth is luke warm. I should have been advised that this is a take-home and cook it yourself kit. I am currently not in the situation where I have a large pot that I can boil the broth. Had I known this I would have eaten there or gone to a different restaurant.

Good authentic Vietnamese food, we had lunch on a Sat, didn’t have to wait long, busy place, good service, & food came out really fast. Husband said pho was really good. I had grilled shrimp with egg roll over rice noodles. It was below average bc served with cabbage & bean sprouts as opposed to lettuce & didn’t have any herbs other than a few small pieces of cilantro. Fish sauce was also very bland. Suggest you order pho if you eat here. Gave 4 stars for pho but not for the noodle dish.
We both had the five spice pork sandwich and it was great! We went to the Mt P location in my hope that it was similar to the food truck that we used to visit 8 or so years ago at the Marion Square Farmer’s Market. Glad we did as it was the same place and the sandwiches were as delicious as I remembered from the food truck. Just never realized they had brick and mortar locations because we really did miss that food truck on Saturdays.
First time for everything. This was place is good! I had ordered the Beef stir-fry noodles (egg noodles) and veggie egg rolls. Very flavorful. I am a spice geek, so if you like things spicy- I recommend asking for spicy beef stir-fry noodles. I wasn't too big fan of the boba tea. I ordered a strawberry one, but there is an earthy taste that I cannot seem to ignore. Other than that I definitely recommend!

I came here tonight for dinner, I ordered egg paste and BBQ pork, they gave me the pan fried pork. I asked the owner daughter she said yes it is the BBQ pork but we re-fried it, what the heck, I paid for the fresh food. What a joke
The owner is very polite. Our Banh Mi came fast and was really juicy and fresh. We had the chicken curry (10.75$). My husband loves those sandwiches and was super happy with it.

Went here with a couple friends for Vietnamese food. It was my first time there in Cali. Foods was yummy. I enjoyed everything they ordered and we shared everything as a group. Staffs there are nice.
Amazing! Pho broth was flavorful, authentic, and delicious. They were out of a few things tonight (quite busy as its 4th of July), but we have been there once before and it's been great both times. Staff was friendly & accommodating- even gave us one of our drinks on the house. Great local place and definitely one of the best in Pinellas county.
My husband came here first to try Pho. There was nothing special to memorize. Then we came back for Bun Bo, which made me surprised for its taste. We came here twice, one in early evening and one in the rush hours, both time we were served very well and fast. Their Bun Bo was not so excellent and it was good to try. So many toppings and I can hardly finish it myself. We also tried their Banh mi: banh mi thit nguoi and banh mi bi. Both of them were good.

So, I decided not to tip at all. I strongly believe it’s a 100% personal decision whether to tip or not. Again, I decided NOT TO. But the waiter or manager( I have no idea who the guy was) told me they will charge me 18% anyway. I was VERY surprised of his impudence and asked him not to. But, he told me again and this time very aggressively that they will charge me 18% extra and right after that started speaking his native language to other workers. Most likely about me.
P.S. You’re already making good money on selling just food. In addition, your ingredients are cheap. So, don’t complain please.

Six of us had lunch at Pho Thanh in Bentonville AR today. I enjoyed the food very much -- they have vegetarian options. Our server was very friendly and helpful -- I cannot imagine how anyone could have done a better job. The portions were generous, and we enjoyed our leftovers for supper. Now I have a mission to learn how to make Vietnamese vegetarian brown sauce. Their brown sauce was delicious.
A good friend suggested this small restaurant & the #13 catfish certainly was everything we expected it to be. Crispy skin, tender perfectly cooked flesh, a big pile of herbs & lettuce to wrap it up... I'm drooling just thinking about it! Staff is very helpful without being intrusive.

The exterior is not what I would expect from a Vietnamese restaurant as you are met with a yellow and white striped canopy, something a tasteful or ostentatious French restaurant would have. The difference between tasteful and ostentatious is a microscopic line.

This is very nice and relaxing place to eat. The Fried Rice W/ Chicken is superb! The Pho With is magnificent! And the Thai Tea is delicious. Five Stars definitely! 💯

This is what Pho is supposed to taste like!!!! Staff were wonderful after leaving another place where we were treated a tad rude. My new favorite place to come too!

Off the beaten path. Don't let the outside of the building turn you off, the exterior appearance won't win a beauty contest, and you can even say it's dilapidated. But rest assured that the inside is clean, the staff is very polite, the food is tasty and excellent and at a fair price. I had filet mignon beef and broken white rice mixed with eggs and sautéed onions, it was busting with delicious Asian flavors. The Pho was also very good, actually most everything on the menu is yummy and there are lots of options to choose from. Authentic Vietnamese cuisine at its best.
Good place for pho. Their bbq Korean beef is my favorite.
The pho was great, one pork and the other chicken. The broth was quality with plenty of depth. The fried rice was excellent as well. Would easily go back as the prices were decent for what you get.

Overall, I thought Bon Bahn Mi was good, and if I lived in the area, I would probably go there again. I also liked that it was just down the street from where I was staying.

I would have sat outside, but it was a bit windy, so I enjoyed a window seat which was great for people watching. The place has a cool vibe to it. I would say my only complaint, and this is the second place I experienced this in Charleston was the music. I love all types of music, but when eating I am not a big fan of indie/grunge/metal music. The music was certainly for the staff and not the customers.
Food: I had a bowl with the Tamarind Shrimp. Bowls are on a base of Jasmine rice and topped with purple cabbage, tomatoes, scallions, carrots, crispy shallots and Thai basil. It’s served with Nouc Cham Sauce. Overall the flavors were really good and worked well together. If you haven’t eaten Vietnamese before, it’s important to mix everything tougher to really appreciate the combination of flavors. I thought the dish was lacking in Thai Basil, it was there, but I am accustomed to much more than was on the dish. I also, liked the addition of the crispy shallots, but felt they too were lost in the dish. I was a little disappointed by the Tamarind Shrimp as I felt they lacked true depth in flavor and I wasn’t getting much Tamarind flavor, which I love. The jasmine rice was probably the most disappointing, it wasn’t very fragrant and seemed a little tired.
Service: Service was good and I got a great recommendation on beer.

My go to for Banh Mi… I have tried 5 of the different selections but my go to is the House Special #1 Spicy! Trust me it’s delicious. Well worth your time and trust me everything is super fresh. SHOP LOCAL! HELP SUPPORT!
Sandwich (not Sandstone) is fresh and tasty, great price, great service. I highly recommend. Plus, he took the time to help an elderly customer safely down the stair leaving the shop.

Best place to get Pho!! Service is always prompt to attend to you and your meal is served in a very timely manner. The flavors from the broth alone make you want to slurp on that all day long. Don’t forget the chili oil to add for extra goodness.
Honestly I didn't think the food was that tasty. The calamari was OK. It was literally fried squid. No herbs, no black pepper, not much flavor. The soup was simply broth, chicken, and broken vermicelli. No vegetables whatsoever. No green onion. No Basel. No bean sprouts. I should have ordered the vegetable version. Otherwise the waiters were excellent. The restaurant is very clean and has private booths, small tables, and large tables.
Listen up, foodies! I just had the most amazing spicy short rib pho and it was nothing less than perfect. But be warned, you gotta bring some cash to chow down on this beauty. Trust me though, it's worth every penny. Don't hesitate - go try it for yourself and thank me later!
Excellent flavor and quality. Staff is super nice. This is my first visit! Highly recommend trying the vegan banh mi this is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, hands down. Perfect balance of flavor, spice and crunch from the golden brown toasted bread that compounds the experience and adds to the flavor. Ordering a second one right away.
The food was delicious! So much flavor! I cant remember exactly what I ordered but it was suppose to have shrimp in it, and only had 2 pieces of shrimp in the whole bowl. The only downside was the place itself. A little run down and in need of some TLC. We had a fly that was pestering us the entire time and it kinda had a earthy smell that we couldnt place until we were leaving and saw where there was a roof leak near the side door and the ceiling was wood. You could tell it had been leaking for awhile.
Walked in in the middle of lunch, could tell they just finished a massive wave of business as most the tables were dirty... the staff was amazing friendly and prompt in service! Pho was delicious and priced amazing for the portions!

The Thai tea was what you’d want from a thia tea.
My wife got the chicken pho and really enjoyed it. I got the special combination pho with the beef hoof since I’ve never tried that before. It was fine but the beef hoof doesn’t really add much, meat or flavor. But the special pho was good. The noodles were a little overdone but not too bad.
Overall, would recommend. I’ll definitely be back.

Grilled pork chop and Lasa Tom are my personal favorite . The taste is still the same all these years . Was disappointed with their Pad Thai version Bun Xao and the Chicken Wings - they lack the flavor that Thai’s pad thai has and the chicken wings Korean & Thai make .
1st time as a strong suggestion for a change of pace & taste. Very satisfying cuisine really flavorful. I'll definitely be back & highly recommend this restaurant to others.
Had a great experience! The food was amazing. Hubs got the 5 spiced pork Banh Mi and I got the 5 spiced tofu taco. Really fresh ingredients, very large portions and great flavors. Highly recommend!

The spring rolls were delicious and lightly fried. The service was friendly and competent. The room is nice enough, looks like a relatively quick and inexpensive remodel was done to the former Korean restaurant.
I think they opened only recently, so I am hoping they will hit their stride soon. Since I live close by, I will give it another try in the near future.

The most terrible and unauthentic Vietnamese food that we have ever eaten in our lives! The Vietnamese egg rolls that we ordered, looked like pieces of crumpled paper with uncooked content! Unbelievable! How could they dare to open a restaurant with this kind of unskilled cooking ability?!? The Vietnamese rice dish tasted horribly! The Meatball Pho tasted decent. The food is not worth the prices that we paid!!!

My lemongrass chicken Bahn mi changed my day. For the better. Delicious. Solid portion. Incredible price. Excellent service. I‘d buy stock in this place if it were an option.

It is hard to find good authentic Asian food in Charleston, especially a place that serves pho 🍲. Phuong by far is my number one option when it comes to Vietnamese food, it is not the cheapest and portions are relatively small, but the food in here rarely disappoints me, service is great as well. Would highly recommend this place for authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

Very small place with limited seating and narrow standing room. Probably best to take it to go or make sure you eat quickly! We got the five spice tofu and tamarind shrimp as tacos. Both were killer delicious. Tofu, I think, was the better of the two, though. It is unlike anything I've had anywhere else for a protein option. Really liked it! Fresh veggies in the slaw. Good soda choices. Recommend!
Absolutely delicious! Fast service. The food came out in ten minutes. Yum! The fried noodles are the bomb! I love the onions and bean sprouts the most.

Great place for baked catfish (Ca Nuong Da Gion) and salty hotpot (Lau Mam) with great prices. This place can be busy with seatings close together and kids screaming. It's similar to drinking restaurants in Sai Gon very chaotic and loud. Beware if you don't like this type of atmosphere. For us, we feel quite at home here. Service is fast and better than expected. The food especially the baked fish is great. It's crunchy, not oily and the flesh is cooked just right. The salty hotpot (lau mam) is the best we have had so far, even better than Oc & Lau. It's not too salty like other places. It's flavorful and comes with pork, squid, fish, clams and a lot of veggie. It's a steal for the price imo. Banh beo is not firm and overcooked but the filling is good. Overall, we have come here a few times and are satisfied each time, would recommend.
This place was recommended to us for their Bun Vit Xao Mang. It's just normal for me but the Bun Bo Hue was a nice surprise. It wasn't the best but decent with having somewhat unique taste of the Vietnamese styled soup. Many people ordered Ca Nuong Da Gion for to-go so we might try it next time. The price is in the typical Vietnamese restaurant range. It is in a very popular business center and the parking is quite limited. The inside is quite small and outdated. It's not a handicap friendly facility with only stairs.
This place is amazing. Don’t miss out on this location. Their Pad Thai and pork chop entrees are my favorite meals. Also try the spring rolls.
This was a 60 dollar meal for 3 people. With 3 drinks and pretty much unlimited portions/wraps . For the price, it was a great deal. Taste was good
Kind service, seated us in a nice booth rapidly. Although the booths were a little uncomfortable. Got our order in and the appetizers came out rapidly, the food all came out fast. Good , classic Vietnamese food!

A birthday request and glad it turned out well. Food is delicious as always and the service was what I expected to get when I go out to eat! Timely manner even during a busy time is a nice change. Definitely upgrade from 3 to 4 stars ⭐️! Think I’ll keep coming here till I ordered everything on the menu and post the pictures on here! 😂

I have been going here over the years and will continue to, but today was not their best in service. Food have always been good, although it’s getting pricey. Don’t mind paying more for the food, but the service better well match.

This place is our favorite dim sum spot. We went on a Saturday - they have an excellent choice of dim sum dishes and one is in and out, plenty satisfied in an hour. We recommended. It is our go to spot!
Loved the vegetarian choices. Have been here multiple times with different group of friends ( recommended by me) and everyone of them enjoyed the food and ambience. Staff is super friendly. Even though am a vegetarian they manage to cater to your preference and taste. Recommended if you are in the Union Square area.

Came here to try the Ca nuong (baked catfish). We ordered the XL size for the 5 adults, which was pretty filling and we only ordered another dish. We each had about 4-5 rolls each. Prices are reasonable here. The fish is clean well, skin is nice and crispy, & the service here is wonderful. My only complaint would be fresher veggies and more mint selection.
