Its the Campus for HTM and MSBA
It was my first time being there. I came down with my sister to watch my nephew from Colorado play lacrosse. I was amazed about how many teams were playing. It was over 200 teams and they had 23 different fields. Well coordinated. Only one thing. Not enough bathrooms for all the people were attending. Other than that, what a nice place to go to for attorney
I would not recommend this place. Initially, I had high hopes, but after completing my first semester, I encountered rude behavior from the staff, particularly Brenda Trafton. I'm uncertain whether her demeanor is simply disrespectful or rooted in racism. If you're seeking a thoughtful and informed response to your inquiries, it's unlikely that you'll receive it from her. Good Luck.

This is my first visit to this college's open house with my teenager.
I have passed by this college many times but never gone inside until now.
I'm impressed by the school, the curriculum and the facility.
I would definitely consider this college for my child.
I wish to put zero star, this worse college, don’t come to study there.Advisors and teachers don’t care about there students and there problems which class if you have any. Especially nursing teacher they don’t try teach you. Those teachers in propose make students to fail there classes so that you need retake it which mean you need paid again. This college only want money from you this it.If you really want study and learn anything go to other college. WORSE COLLEGE EVER.
One of the worst not for profits institutions I've ever had the misfortune to attend. It will get you the associates degree but will teach like you're a freshman in high-school. I do not know how they keep the accreditation. If you actually want to learn find almost anywhere else.
This place is so bad!!!

Would give less than 1 star if possible. Garbage school! Stay away! They do NOT care about students! The administration is rude, racist, demeaning. They behave as if they think they are Harvard! Never in my years in education or my families decades of attending University's have I ever come across such blantant idiocy. They do not care about anyone with mental health issues, disabilities, or any challenges at all. Professors do not even make videos for online learning. They submit work with deadlines with no actual instruction and repeat the exact information every semester!
The lab was interesting as I got to learn alot of things about big data technologies such as HDFS , Mapreduce , Splunk software which is actually a really good tool for big data technologies . The work or assignmnets provided by the professor was really helping the students to reach their maxium ability there were challanges which were interesting to solve . Overall I enjoyed the course .
I have no words about the disappointment I had when I first saw this campus, it’s a temporary facility with nothing at all, no cafeteria no fitness Center no scope of any activities.

Some faculty’s are good but some just makes me question myself how can I pay this much for such bad education.

Management takes forever to answer your request and answer is always we can’t do anything about it.

Part of my life with is lost thanks to Virginia Tech’s so called Innovation Center.

It’s innovative but only in how to charge students more money than their main campus in Blacksburg for such a scam campus which is worse than a slump.

If I start taking out my frustration here it will be a 100 page review but I will sum it up by don’t ruin your life’s 2 year here bcz this place is more like a horror movie than a campus to study.

The Toefl examiner was super nice and considerate, making you feel eased and have a pleasant exam taking experience here. Btw the AC was extremely cold, remember to have a jacket with you.

I went there to improve my knowledge on excel and my expectations were met. The instructor is very patient, kind and knowledgeable. As a bonus content he also gave me an introduction of PowerPoint and Publisher.

The best place to take the TOEFL test. The instructor always gave me relief, and I could get 28 in the listening section. He is really careful and has warm greetings to test takers.

I completed an AWS course through Tysons Institute and was able to pass the exam with ease. They do a great job of sharing the material in a way that is absorbable and ensure you are comfortable for the exams. Great educators & great environment

Tysons Institute is a great place to study and prepare for a career in IT. The management team and teachers were friendly and helpful with enrollment. As a former international student, Dr. Bania greatly aided me throughout the student visa process. Tysons Institute offers a wide range of up-to-date academic programs. Tysons Institute is five stars rating, and I highly recommend the school to any student who wants to start or advance in IT studies.
They won’t let you use a bathroom
As this place is furnishing enormous amenities in technical field like students can get opportunity to learn about technical concepts . This university is well known in business , technical and industrial field . They have great deal of courses , also . Staff is well experienced and qualified.
Excellent University My classes Start next Year 2023
Nice campus. Cops love to ticket the students, though.
They drive around campus checking cars and giving tickets.
Make sure your inspection, insurance, and registration are all up to date. I know if you're paying for that college and trying to pay bills, it's not easy. They don't care and will ticket you.
As far as the college goes, it's a very good college to attend.
I had one son there, and another was supposed to be transferring this year.
Sadly, one son could never reach his professor for his online course, and the other just received in the mail a letter stating his course has been canceled until further notice. He is now having trouble finding space in another course.
The advisors need to be more enthusiastic and actually help the kids when they come to them.

Tyson institute is one of the the best computing schools for AWS. They have reasonable pricing . It provides candidates with the most update AWS curriculum right from AWS academy. IT courses that prepares you to hold certification for professional future needs.
Everyone I dealt with at Normandale, as a student and student leader, was wonderful. Staff, faculty, and administration genuinely care about students and want to see them succeed. Take every advantage you can. There are so many opportunities afforded to students. It was a powerfully positive time in my life and I will be forever grateful for everyone there.

Great
Overall it was a great experience here at UoNA. Great faculty members and wonderful staff, always willing to help.

The president is very accessible to all.
The enrollment team is very supportive.
The DSO and team are very down-to-earth on advisory and guidance to students.

If you are lucky to be employed by the IT team, you will have a great time widening your experience.

I got my master's here and also worked on the IT team prior to being on CPT.

Updated 07/31/2021:
Contrary to some other opinion which almost discouraged me at the time of enrollment, the University is accredited - see images.
I'm currently dorming and I took off a star bc of consistent problems with heating and warm water. RA's also don't do anything to stop drunken students from being loud in the middle of the night or investigating the hallway stinking of weed occasionally. In terms of advisors, they're ready to help and will let you know all your options for your major. The teaching staff is alright, there are quite a bit of adjuncts(no office hours) so being able to teach yourself is a must. The dining hall is always clean, food is ok and has healthy options available. Bookstore is pricey so renting ebooks or hand-me-downs are best. Only buy something you absolutely need (ex. Lab manuals) Student body is diverse enough that you aren't the only black face in a class of forty. Teaching staff is not very diverse at all. Not much fun going on or anything interesting 99% of the time so self entertaining is the only way to not go insane if you dorm.
At Normandale the instructors are qualified in their disciplines and have a passion for teaching. The curriculum format is consistent between classes. It is modern and it works. Sure, not every Professor was the greatest and not every class was amazing but there were always resources available to help the student succeed. Overall there was, in the Science, Math and Biology programs, and enthusiasm for learning, opportunities to explore and expand those interests, and a level of Instructor-Student accessibility which I think is really phenomenal. The value of education is also very good. As a student it would be quite easy to skim by with little effort and still pass the classes, but if you are passionate about what you are doing you will not find much in the way of you rising to the top of your classes and more importantly - getting out what you put in. Also, if you are a returning student, such as myself, you will find peers with whom to share that experience and it can be a supportive environment. I've learned in my college career that money, research, and prestige are no substitute for an authentic learning. This, after two years at Normandale followed by two years at the University of Minnesota.

Tyso institute give you the knowledge that will help you to excel
This University has no less than other well ranked names. Faculty is great with many Phd Professors with professional real work experience. Each courses has a well and organized curriculum that focuses on the student ability to manage time and learning through different useful technological tools offered by the University and included in the fee. The small Campus allows a very close touch with everyone working there, from the admission representative to the ISO advisor to the academic one. All of them are so available and prompt to find a solution for students.
As an international student at Keller Graduate School, Arlington VA campus, I have been experiencing truly supportive and on time student service provided by Iris Sorto (DSO), Blake Seide (Student Advisor), and Greg Toler (Executive Admissions).
I am glad that I had a chance to work at the campus as a student worker. Kelley Danielle was an awesome manager to work together.
I decided to pursue my second master's degree at DeVry University, and so far I have had a great experience. The programs are demanding but are also very rewarding. However, what I love about this school is the people who work there. The professors are always kind, patient and, and are willing to help you in every step. The faculty members are also helpful, in particular, Iris and Danielle. As an international student, I had many situations where I needed guidance and help. Iris has been the best; she is always there to give advice and to provide me with all the things needed to complete my program while maintaining my status. Overall I have had a great experience at DeVry, and I would recommend to anyone who wants to pursue an education and does not have time much free time and need flexibility.

I am a current international student at DeVry University - Arlington (Crystal City) Campus. Honestly, it is a great pleasure when I can apply and study in this university. As an international student, there are many issue happened at the beginning, namely language-barrier, culture-barrier and so forth. Instead of showing no attention to you, everybody here, including professors and advisors, is very decent. They are always willing to help/ assist you whenever you are in difficulties, and of course not until I am out of the trouble, will they not stop helping me. Iris Sorto and Blake Seide are my two advisors. I really hold them in high esteem because of what they have helped me. I had a big problem with understanding the language of native speaker and definitely brought them myriad misunderstandings about what I said and so do I. However, they still treat me really well.
As far as the lectures and professors are concerned, I have to say that they are absolutely great. They always put their heart and souls in every lessons and make sure that their students will understand clearly the concepts. Also, beside the lecture in the class, they offer you the PowerPoint and a script in Student Portal, it would be really easy for you to review your lesson.
Eventually, I love everything they are doing for me and I highly recommend this university to all my friends and family.

Got my BA from Devry and I’m happy with it. The schooling years can be daunting and financially challenging, but I had a great support from the staff from the very beginning through the end and the professors as well.
I want to highlight my appreciation for Iris who helped me tremendously throughout the years always patient with my questions and Vanessa for helping through the first obstacles and getting me ready to start. Thank you!

I'm an international student and i've had a wonderful time learning at Devry, just like all others it is not a perfect institution and i also disagree with some of their policies. However i'm here to appreciate all of the professors that taught me throughout my degree, i've been introduced to a new world of endless opportunities, possibilities and the ability to look for solutions beyond where other's stop, i thank you all.

My special regards and appreciation goes to the International Student Coordinator, Ms Iris Sorto, sometime at the end of my degree, i realize this lady had been there guiding me through lost and difficult times, she might not have all the answers, she will sure point you in the right direction and i'm not just talking about doing her job, it is the kindness and genuine interest that comes along with each correspondence and conversation. I could look at the shortcomings of this institution but instead i choose to appreciate everyone who has made a positive impact in this mile stone and look forward to accomplishing great things...
I'm from upstate New York, I've come down to fcs for schooling. The dorm rooms are okay, the bathrooms and shower facilities could be updated. Walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. I know orchard hall is nicer than the other halls. Schooling wise the professors are very nice, willing to give you a little extra help when needed. Classes don't give too much homework. I enjoy it's location being an hour away from the city.
We have the best employer and the best president. Always think about our students. Have very good service of DSO and admission. They really care about our students. Students learning good and useful technology. Really helpful the career in the future.

Dear International Students, Devry will tell you that they are making any profits from you. And offer you the course which is not in your degree program because it is very small campus, they can't afford. we are an international students who does need to keep our status. And a result is having pay for the course which is not your interest at all (0 option out of 48 credit hours). Then they will tell you what? We are giving you a permission to choose that course, but you are not suppose to. For a such permission to the students, we had a big discussion have done by admission and dean. It is for your sake to keeping your status. I paid a COUPLE THOUSAND DOLLAR Extrea for this reason.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! They are very deceptive especially for Veteran Students. I completed my BS degree with my full post 9/11 benefits and I still received a bill upon graduation. DO NOT GO HERE! Aside from few professors I enjoyed there was always a financial issue.
Great place. Classrooms are always clean and well maintained. If you are a new student/visitor, do not be afraid of asking direction from the front desk. The guys there are very friendly and helpful. There are a few pantry areas where you'll find microwave and fridges and soft drink vending machines. Overall a very good facility for students.
This college is just alright. The police are way too strict with parking tickets and appealing it pointless because you'll have to pay anyway. Some professors are really good and others are useless. I've met with several academic advisors in my major and they've all pointed me in the wrong direction, so frustrating! The tutors in the library aren't helpful at all, they barely know the subjects. Food in the cafeteria is the same every day and not even that good for a high price. Not enough events going on on campus. Not as fun as the last school I was at. Kind of disappointed in the school, I transferred here because I thought it would be a lot better. I find it hard to make friends here, very cliquey. Can't wait to graduate and get away.
I got 2 associates degrees from Normandale a few years back. I'll admit, there is not much guidance. If you are self sufficient like myself, you can get the most out of it. It's cheap and it's a laid back environment. I enjoyed my time there and liked my teachers. I like that you don't need to go outside to get to different buildings. I loved the student center. The food is good. overall, it was a good place to find myself.
Great university! The University of North America has programs that are in high demand and also match the job market. The infrastructure and classrooms are state of the art and professors and staff are first class. I recommend you to enroll at the University of North America and have an extraordinary experience! Admissions will walk you through the process of getting accepted and will provide you with the best services an educational institution can offer.
Good environment for learning, and convenient location for Northern Virginians.

The administration are people who aren't very helpful and don't like their own jobs. They will give poor advice and frequently point you in the wrong direction. Many of the professors have an average level of experience and give poorly written assignments and test. The parking is difficult on campus. The campus police are very predatorial about parking and they definitely have a ticket quota. I would not recommend attending.
UPDATE 10/18/2018

I’m now in a Master’s program full time at another university. I am still so grateful for the excellent education I received at Normandale. It prepared me to be competitive, and successful, at higher levels.

I love my school.

I've been a part-time adult student, (very) slowly earning my degree, and over the years I have had some amazing classes. Some of the teachers I've had have been literally life changing: Math for Elementary Teachers was good, so was History of Rock & Roll and Fitness for Life. But I have truly found my academic home in the World Languages Department. I'm working on a degree with an emphasis in Spanish, so I've had four Spanish teachers so far, and each has been outstanding in his or her own way.

The campus is compact, with most buildings connected by tunnels or hallways. The Japanese Garden is lovely, and if you're on campus for a while you can usually find a good place to get a bite to eat or a quiet place to study. It's also really inexpensive, and the Associate of Arts degree will knock out the first two years of schooling at most Minnesota universities.

I'll be graduating in a few short months and moving on, finally. But I think Normandale will always have a very special place in my heart. I'm proud of what I've accomplished but I'll be very sad to leave this fabulous school.
LOVE IT! The classes were a right fit and professors were very good at teaching. The staff is always helpful and ensured I stayed on track which was important. I am now a successful AF Officer currently applying for Harvard and Columbia MBA.
