They have a good variety of food; for NYC standards it’s a pretty big store. I appreciate that they do an ice cream sale each week. If you are flexible about what brand you eat, there’s always something. The fruits and vegetables are fresh.
Racist supermarket. Although most staff is Hispanic. They discriminate against non whites. They walk around like gangs. I feel threatened every time I go in there. They like to surround people.
As an Afro Latina who recently moved to the neighborhood, I was eager to explore the local Key Food store with my son. Hoping for a welcoming shopping experience in our new community. Unfortunately, our visit was anything but pleasant.
While walking through the aisles, an employee who was restocking shelves accidentally pushed me. The lack of an apology was startling enough, but what followed was even more disconcerting. This individual immediately began instructing other employees to watch us closely, insinuating that we might attempt to steal something. This assumption, made without any provocation, was not only humiliating but also tinged with a discomforting layer of suspicion that I cannot help but feel was influenced by our appearance.
The behavior of the staff was not just unprofessional; it was personally distressing. Creating a hostile and unwelcoming environment, especially based on unfounded suspicions, is unacceptable in any setting, more so in a neighborhood grocery store that should serve as a cornerstone for community interactions.
This incident has left me deeply disappointed and questioning the management practices of this Key Food location. It's evident that there is a significant need for improvement in employee training, focusing on customer service and perhaps more critically, on diversity and sensitivity training.
I share this review in the hope that it serves as constructive feedback for the store's management. A change in how employees interact with all customers, ensuring respect and a welcoming atmosphere, is imperative. The Dairy has the best ice cream . There are so many different flavors that you won't find on this side of the border . My kids love to leave with a cone of it 🤣

I find Sumas dairy outlet bit better experience - and quality and amount of ice cream those girls do - also feels better than other. ( it may be my feel may he whole ice-cream is made at one place but...)

At first glance the selection is good and then you realize the employees are rude and don't care about anything. There is constantly expired food. I went to grab some prosciutto the other day and it had thick green mold on it. The next 4 packages did as well. We saw some horribly moldy arugula as well. Drippy salami. Gave my girlfriend and I the ick and we left. Will not be coming back except for maybe some canned items.

So many locations and so many dairy options. The ice cream - soft serve and hard ice cream are great value. I can't believe I've never tried cookies and coffee. It's my go to each time now.

It’s a great place to buy I always buy there. But when I walked in today the was girl at the register with glasses I just asked something and she responded me rudely her work has to be nice with the costumers if she treats rudely the costumers don’t even work.
They say this ice cream place is a must visit when you cross the boarder. We now got a chance to try.
when I tell you this ice cream hits differently, bro. This is like one of the best places I have ever been to get ice-cream at. It's so good. Like, this place is severely underrated. I recommend the vanilla chocolate swirl, you can get it in a cup also.
Simply the best! I have had ice cream all over the world and have quite the sweet tooth. This is fresh and tasty. I stop here every time when I drive through Blaine. Been here dozens of times and will keep coming.
I enjoyed the ice cream, which was generously sized. The service was pleasant as well. I'm giving a 4-star rating because of one particular aspect. During busy times, even if you're not purchasing ice cream but wish to buy other items from the counter, you're required to join the long line for ice cream. This seems unnecessary and could be improved. I'm uncertain if this tactic is intended to encourage additional purchases. It would be better if they managed this situation differently, ensuring that people buying other items don't need to wait in the same line as those buying ice cream.
Delicious ice cream and toppings! Can get very busy as the treats are made with care, but a great environment with kind and accommodating staff! Just be prepared for a wait!
Stopped in on my way to Canada. They have milk, butter, cheese, ice cream and beverages. They didn't have a pistachio or almond ice cream so I was enticed to get any but I did get a few of the Bear n' Beaver craft sodas. A bit pricey but they are pretty good. They had Orange, Cream Soda and Root Beer.

Consistantly the absolute worst, namely the service. The grimacing attitudal cashiers show a gross lack of basic courtesy and social skills, unfortunately. Never have I spent my hard earned money there that I've heard the phrase "Thank you". To expect eye contact would be a far reach. These basic people skills are learned at home, not through job training. And people wonder why the economy is in peril. No one wants to pay to be treated like inessential individuals.

After visiting I can understand why their reviews are so high! Definitely recommend. It's just right by the border too. Huge scoops of ice cream, delicious flavors, even the kid size soft serve & mini scoop ice cream are the perfect size for our kids too (not small at all!). The staff was all very professional & friendly. What's more, there was a staff member in a cow mask upstairs entertaining the kids. It was such a pleasant surprise, kids loved it!
Kids had a blast feasting on their delicious ice cream. One of the store staff put on a cow mask and had some fun interacting with kids from the upstairs office window.
This has been one of the fondest memories on the trip for us. Ice cream and a random cow person waving at them.

The blueberry vanilla swirl soft serve was incredible! So silky, not overly sweet, a perfect blueberry flavour. I love that they have so many sizes and don’t have to be a kid to get the kiddie size! I can’t eat a lot of ice cream and that size was perfect for me.
I will be back to try other flavours and to pick up some of their delicious looking cheesecakes!

If you are going to charge customers for a bag, please have some regular paper bags for ten cents or a quarter. The ones you have now are not good for the environment. It's obvious you don't care about being green and are just looking for an excuse to squeeze a little more money out of your customers.
The reviews from 2 years ago are true everything is expired. I wanted to keep going here but coming back home to molded bread and checking in the store to make sure other products werent expired, it was too much. Went to another grocery store and didnt have to worry for expirations date, be safe yall .
Great ice cream! Got there right before closing and staff were happy to let us sample flavors. Ultimately chose huckleberry flavor and it was really tasty! Also good value. Would definitely come back again if in the area.

dianne was an absolute gem to me and was very helpful during my recent visit. also they stock my new favorite ice cream (nicks) which is hard to find elsewhere. 2 thumbs up.

I will be a loyal customer for as long as I live in the neighborhood! I love this market. They stock great food, including a nice selection of organic produce. The prices are competitive. The people who work here are ALWAYS pleasant and helpful. And they deliver! Their delivery service makes my life soooo much easier, there's an enormous selection of items available online (more than there are in the store, I think), and they charge an extremely reasonable delivery fee: $2.99. This has truly been life changing for me. I'm grateful for this place.

Anyways, really bizarre that a market wouldn't have an allergen list for their bread/roll/bakery products. Not everyone can have dairy or egg, and most places will gladly provide it.

Great neighborhood supermarket with an impressive selection of fresh, well-tended produce, basic grocery and household products, and even specialty items like Bob's Red Mill flours and grains. Weekly sales are terrific, with deep discounts on such staples as butter and laundry detergent (the weekly flyer is available in the store as well as online); and the hardworking staff are unfailingly gracious and helpful.
HANDS DOWN the best in the area. My favorite Mediterranean grocery store. A visit to this store is worth the trip! Immaculate service, superior products. Great customer service, excellent quality of halal meats, baked goods, pantry items, and the wide selection of cheeses, olives, cured meats, the variety and quality is just exceptional. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, amazing clean atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Solid & convenient grocery store in the area. Don’t expect it to be as large as a Fairway or Whole Foods in terms of selection and space, but it has essential groceries and a lil more.
Their chocolate milk is the best thing you'll EVER EVER EVER have in your face. It is so good, creamy and natural. I make special trips to PCC to buy a dozen at time. I always clear the shelf and the cashiers always look at me funny, but I don't even care. 100% recommend!

Great grocery store! Absolutely love the produce section. It has a lot of options and the prices are very affordable. The store is tidy and the staff are great. It’s close to many transit systems and very accessible in the Bushwick area. It is my go-to store!
Went there to grab a juice and breakfast. Their ready-to-eat chia pudding is really good and they also have a wide variety of juices. Highly recommend when you are in a rush and want to grab a quick healthy snack!!
We use their rich, thick buttermilk and what a difference it makes in our baking. Also love that the pasteurization is vat/batch kind which tastes wonderful and is healthier. Grace Harbor Farms stay farm fresh!!! Luv ya
I happened upon your dairy products at our local natural food store, Marelen'e Deli, in Tacoma. WOW! My tummy is all better and I feel my digestive system is back to working properly. I feel fantastic and absolutely loved the Buttermilk and Vanilla Kefir. Thank you so much for this excellent dairy. I can't wait to get more. So yummy!
Başçı is run by a family and delivers the best experience for Turkish & Middle Eastern foods. When you arrive at the entrance you have to take your time to discover the butcher, dairy products, olive varieties, tomato & pepper paste and other traditional food varieties in different isles. There are 100+ honey and jams alone from national and international suppliers, you will run into tahini, pistachio, various nuts, herbs, and many more authentic food items directly sourced from their origin. If you are Turkish, Mediterranean or Middle Eastern, or simply love these foods there is no better place to go to in a 25-mile radius from Columbus Circle.

They have a deli counter and a decent meat selection, plus a well-stocked dairy and frozen aisle. There’s a walk-in beer fridge, selection’s a bit bland for my tastes though.
In summary, it does all the things I expect from a supermarket with the prices I expect to pay at one.

I bought their chocolate milk at PCC in Issaquah. It's full fat, not too sweet and absolutely delicious in my morning coffee. How wonderful to have access to such high quality dairy!
It is convenient to have Key Food in our neighborhood. I was able to find some vegetables that the kids like in this store. I plan to shop more often there to discover what more they are offering.

I can't really comment on the prices because I used 'too good to go' and that was a deal! The supermarket has great new floors, is brightly lit, well-organized, and plenty of stock.
Especially meat and cheese varieties are great. We pray for summer, because their barbecue and BASCI meats are perfect enough to be missed. Basci is the best example of Turkish artisanship in USA. Thx everyone 👍
The other prospect market on 5th is better IMO (has a deli, faster check out, less cramped) but this one is good. Best marketplace in the south slope/Windsor border. Always clear, pretty fair prices. They got rid of the deli which is a bummer but still has everything you need otherwise.
I shope here every week since last 4 years. It has most of the things we require for cooking as we cook everyday for family of 5. Very organized, clean, spacious, welcoming and with a lot of choices for different products. I believe its a little pricey but it is so very convenient that we don't have to drive miles to get groceries especially when you have a toddler and a newborn. Very pleased with our experience.
Definitely the nicest medium/small grocery store in the neighborhood. Not as big (nor anywhere near as overpriced) as City Fresh, but still big enough for me to go there and get 99% of the products I would buy at a big store.

Well run, medium sized grocer with rarely more than a person or two in the check out line. An easier alternative when you can’t handle the hustle and lines, after lines, at Whole Foods.
Food Town has decent produce with some organic vegetables, and an impressively large selection of dry goods. There are plenty of options for dairy, mass produced cheeses and beer.
The meats, fresh breads and flowers are all sort of... meh.

I drink a quart of Grace Harbor kefir every day at work, and I buy their yogurt for my weekends. The whole fat content is what caught my attention, and the flavor and quality is what keeps me coming back.
No other yogurt or kefir has the same quality or whole fat content, and no other grassfed product has such a wallet-friendly price.

The owner is very nice and has everything I need if I forget to buy it from the bigger stores. One of the hidden gems is the Pan Dulce (Mexican Sweet bread). It's from a local San Pedro Bakery.
The most amazing milk and yogurt I have ever had. Pure and unadulterated. I suffered from severe indigestion and respiratory issues drinking regular market milk. Drinking Grace Harbor milk reversed the digestion and respiratory issues I had with dairy. I can't explain how, but the milk makes my body feel whole. Seriously, Grace Harbor is a blessing for me and my family.

I like that this location is near the park which allows you to stop in or after a visit. The store is nicely organized and has tons of variety. The aisles are a bit narrow and can get congested during rush hours. I liked that they do not have a minimum on credit cards. The cashiers were all very friendly.
This place is quite the gem and I’ve been meaning to go for a while but was intimidated that it might be overpriced cause of the location. Not true. They have a modest selection of fruits and seasonings some of which are cheaper than Costco. I got some peaches that weren’t sweet (oh, well) as well as some fresh rosemary. I will definitely be back.
Don't plan on going to the market at 8:00 am when it opens. Two days in a row I went and was told that the cashier was late. I waiting around until 8:20 and then left. When the store's open, there's usually a nice variety to choose from. I shouldn't of had to go elsewhere to get breakfast, shame on the management.
My wife and I bought beef, chicken and lamb here. Always fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend.
I got Grace Harbor Plain Kefir at QFC and I loved everything about it: it’s taste, it’s texture, it even smells like natural homemade kefir my grandma used to make! Will look for bigger size because the bottle was too small for such delicious kefir! Thank you for such a good product on the market!
The small Mediterranean store for organic food vegetables mountain tea with Leaf milk butter eggs Row Amish honey and bakllava byrek kadaif and the price is not that high compared with other stores what you get around clean friendly and good people serving
Update the store has new management and new employees it’s been getting better in my opinion.
Shop here daily for regular food needs and such but the sandwiches are so freaking good !! Fresh and they always have soft baked hero’s. The staff here is always kinda and courteous when in need to search for specific items. Always has daily sales on drinks and produce so I always get my fresh fruits and salads at a great price. There open late so when you need those extra ingredients and all other markets are closed they’re a life saver !!

An Oasis of healthy and delicious food at the Meat Packing, my favorites, the $3 salted Sun Flower seeds pack, the $99 cents opened at your order baby coconut, such a nice threat to get it before having a walk around this very nice newly renovated area on a hot day. Also affordable delicious open food bar! Love their rewards I can get by just giving my cel my cel number at checkout :)

Brighton Fruit Market has perfect customer service. The niche products and produce are phenomenal. It's extremely likely that I recommend to a friend. The prices are fair and the place is kept clean. 24 hour store with a fluffy bodega cat. I love this store.
Such amazing ice cream & milkshakes. It was our first time checking out this gem on the weekend. We don’t normally take the border crossing into Lynden, but this time we did, and it was a treat! Wonderful fast service, great selection and friendly staff. The Apple crumble pie ice cream was killer!

There are places with a better selection and better prices, but this is the best within a 10 minute walk. Like all NYC grocery stores, they have some stuff they do really well and other things they don't. This place has it's purpose, and is great to have in the neighborhood.

Best place to go for the freshest fruits and the best products you can find,which mind you, very tasty!!! The staff, efficient. Great place for coke bottles for the summer coming up.
Went here when I visited NY, left an impression on me from the customer service. Very nice, and great produce. I recommend it highly.
This was hands down my worst grocery shopping experience in the city. The aisles are hardly wide enough to fit the grocery carts they provide. And at 6pm on a Friday, the store was cluttered with crates of supplies to restock the shelves... Most stores decide to do this late at night, but I guess rush hour works just as well?
