This is a vast National Park with many, many trails that are well laid out & easy to navigate. There are a lot of hotels within a 10 min drive if the park too and best of all, the park is FREE!! There are woodlands, wetlands, waterfalls & wildlife in the park! There is also a train, the Cuyahoga Valley Railroad that runs a two hour trip thru the park!
We visited the last week of October. There were still a fair number of people in the park, but we had most of the trails to ourselves when we got an early start. The trails were all moderate to challenging with lots of boulder scrambling. The views were worth the effort. I really appreciated having an alternative route to the summit of the Beehive.
Great time here, worth going to, be ready to climb up steep dunes! If you bring your pet, they need to be on a leash.
While the campground is closed for the season they still have an available RV dump site open.

Wow!!! Just a magical place. I could spend a week here and never leave the park. The Sand Beach, and trail to thunder hole , and Cadillac mountain were absolutely breath-taking places… I had a hard time containing myself in such a gorgeous place 🥰🤍🇺🇸 If your in the area, Do not miss this place!!! FREE to veterans with ID (the gave me a free veteran lifetime access pass to the NPS locations!!!!) thank you for taking care of me Acadia! I will 100% be back.
Really cool place to visit but in the middle of nowhere! Definitely plan to have plenty of food and water as even the surrounding towns don’t have much. Beautiful dunes and really easy to access once in the park. They’re dog friendly as well which our pup loved running around in the sand.
Truly life changing to see. Make sure to bring cash for entry, and parking is easy and plentiful. A bit of a walk to the dunes but an easy and beautiful walk. Some people bring sleds to slide but I recommend shoes that you don’t mind getting sand in. If you look closely in the photos you will see the black dots which are people - lol!
Great national park located near Cleveland. Picturesque rolling forested hills with beautiful river and wetland features. The water falls are definitely worth visiting. This park is very close to urban areas so there is no shortage of food and lodging near by.
The ledges loop is a beautiful easy short hike. The rock formations are spectacular. You could spend an hour or make a day of it.
I am not a big fan of Florida (mostly due to the weather), but I loved the Everglades! The wildlife was fascinating! Alligators and many varieties of birds were everywhere.This was the first time I saw gators in the wild, and the first time I saw flamingos anywhere! I had hoped to see a panther or bobcat while there, but that is exceedingly unusual. It was possible to get fairly close to the wildlife we did see without being in any danger thanks to the well constructed walkways. It was a beautiful place...but it was quite warm! I enjoyed our visit there!
Absolutely stunning and otherworldly! Be sure to bring plenty of provisions! Extra water and snacks will be very helpful as you travel through the park.

Absolutely beautiful place! Was only able to spend a few hours exploring, but we will definitely be returning for an extended stay. Very peaceful. Only one other couple were at the beach we stopped at to explore. It was drizzling, but I think it only added to the charm.
My husband and I have been to many of the National Parks, and Acadia is up there among our favorites! We spent a couple of days hiking around in mid-October, and it. was. breathtaking!!! The air smells and feels so fresh, the landscape is dramatic, and the wildlife is incredible. We saw bald eagles, seals, and deer. If you head to Acadia, I’d definitely recommend taking some time to walk down to the sand beach! If you walk all the way to the left, there are some tidal pools and grassy spots. We spent a lot of our afternoon laying in the sunshine and looking in the tidal pools. We also loved hiking around Otter Point! Gosh, I can’t put into words how stunningly beautiful the landscape is… if you’re thinking of planning a trip to Mount Desert Island, think no more!! Do it! It’s amazing.
Although Beautiful!! The tour guide was extremely loud and too many air boats went out at one time causing too much noise you will barely see wildlife due to the noise and constant movement of the water. The ride is short and not worth the money in my opinon.

You must stay till dark and to watch star , Milky Way with zillion time zillions star can be seen so clear like hard to see . We did saw Milky Way and sky covered with star and kids were super excited and adults were excited like kids .
Plan going towards end of day if not a cloudy day & check weather and make sure to star grazing . This is must go place .

If they want to visit the Arcade National Park, book an accommodation with them the fantastic sunrise as well. Usually it is included free of charge in the booking. 😂

AMAZING park, this is the kind of places that photos can’t show you how great it is, before going there I was kind of “nah”, now I can say that you MUST go there. It’s super different, beautiful preserved, and if you love hiking and climb, this place is for you! Temperature was great (October).
One of the most mesmerizing places in the world. A must see and definitely a must experience place. If you can you definitely should spend a few days here camping. Great hikes. Jaw-dropping views. Amazing star filled sky at night. Be aware though that camping spots are just a few. No water or electricity hook-ups. No general stores in the park.
The 2023 formal ball was great! The cocktails, dinner, live band and dancing were well organized.
Beautiful nature with rocks of all sizes, bushes, trails and of course unique Joshua trees. Thanks to paved roads you can get anywhere and when it’s really hot (like it was at the time of our visit) you don’t have to spend a lot of time outside and just drive through the whole park making small stops to take a look around. Be sure to bring lot of water!
I am in love with this place!! Great scenery, make sure to plan out any trails you are planning to explore in advance and that is according to your level. Take a lot of water, sunscreen and good shoes if you are planning on walking. And… please for the love of good take a camera with you. This place is worth so much more time to explore. These formations are amazing and if you have the chance to climb any please do so.
When you find yourself near a huge sequoia, you don’t feel smaller, you feel what a giant is nearby. You don’t feel weaker, you feel the power next to you. The thought even arises - how many people they saw during this time, but on the other hand, these were only those people who came to look at them.
Absolutely awe inspiring!! Spent a couple nights out in Joshua Tree with a full moon and spectacular views. Plenty of rock climbing and trails. The wildlife is abundant and there are plenty of convenient restrooms throughout. Take the time to look up in the evenings. Without light pollution the stars are astonishing!
My favorite national park so far. I haven’t had a chance to do the hikes but seeing everything else a few different times. I keep coming back. It’s great all year just know mid day during foliage there will be lots of traffic. Go early morning or at 4:00.
Had a great time! Saw lots of wildlife: On the airboat, we saw 2 wild gators, a turtle, African blue cichlids, a huge blue crane hunting is prey, and a few white cranes. Afterward we stayed for the show... learned a lot about snakes and alligators. Would highly recommend going!
Spent the day here chasing waterfalls and really enjoyed the park. Lots of trails for hiking and running and whether their paved or dirt they are all in great condition. The trails back to the waterfalls were mainly boardwalks with some dirt paths. Brandywine Falls was beautiful and easy to get too. Bridal Veil was also close by but did not have nearly the level of water running through it. Tinkers Creek Falls was a little difficult to find according to Google Maps which told us we had arrived when we were still in the middle of nowhere. You have to map it to Viaduct Park in order to find it and hike down to the upper and lower falls. Beautiful park and an excellent way to spend the day.

Nice to come here as the colors were changing, though we were surprised by the crowds in October thinking we were past high season. Make sure to make a reservation to drive up Cadillac Mountain from May-October. The view is great, especially for watching the sunset, but you are going to miss it during those months if you don't plan ahead. Make sure you drive the Park Loop Road and stop for some beautiful views. We drove all around the park and wished we had time for what looked like some great hikes.
So many lovely spots to stop and explore on this whole trip. Plenty of beaches, hiking trails, scenive view points. Lots of wildlife. One of my favorite national parks for the variety of things to see. The greenery is just beautiful. Never got tired of exploring. Not super crowded like the more popular national parks like yellowstone. Was nice to have our own pace to see things. Locals are friendly. Rain, sun, cloudy, foggy, snowy. Just beautiful in all the seasons we have seen there! If you want something different, definatley the route to go. You never know what you will find! Plenty of camping options.
Amazing nature. If you leave the main touristic spots, you can find some loneliness in that enchanting forest, with cristal clear brooks, green moss, and the parfume of the pines. I recommend the sight at Eagle View.
A national park that not only showcases a gorgeous island mountain but also has scenic views of the ocean and many nearby islands. We went at the end of the season, first week of October, which had perfect weather. The park has tons of walking and hiking trails in all difficulty levels from flat and easy to strenuous and straight up. The wild gardens were extremely informational.
Wow, what a powerful experience visiting the Everglades National Park. We got there during the wet season and experienced heaps of rain, sun and thunder. As first timers, we opt in for some tours from the everglades rangers that were super helpful and knowledgeable.
Very busy place but fantastic! Multiple places to stop and see beautiful scenery. Lots of hiking trails with varying difficulties, along with handicapped accessible ones. Expect crowds and the visitor center (and gift shop) and West Beach, but once outside, there's room to spread out and relax! Staff is very well trained and knowledgeable...a must see!
Is this place "worthy" of being designated as a national park -- on the same level as Yellowstone, Yosemite, or the Grand Canyon? That's debatable however, this place is really amazing and should be checked out. It's only an hour drive from downtown Chicago and has plenty of places to explore. Get out of your car and go on a hike or else you won't see much.
They were doing controlled burns so there was a little smoke but my goodness it was absolutely beautiful! Winter is comming and it's quickly cooling down. Night time is getting very cold even though the sunny days have been warm.

So many places to stop and enjoy God's creation. Picnic area is nice and has clean restrooms. Clingmans dome has great views as does Newfoundland Gap.
The Great Smokey Mountains Nation Park has always been a very beautiful place. It's a wonderful get away to enjoy hikes, nature, and wildlife. The small, notched towns nestled in the mountain are great to explore and visit. The wildlife to me is the best of all.
The dunes were amazing. What a mirage. I would go on a cooler day though cause it will be hot.

I would highly recommend renting the sand sleds and sand boards. It is super fun to ride down the dunes. Do NOT use snow equipment. It will not work at all.
We have gone in every season but winter and it is enjoyable anytime.

Hurricane ridge has some beautiful views. Obstruction road is a little bumpy but worth it. Please use 4x4 on the uphills, road is becoming washboarded. The lodge burned down this spring at hurricane ridge while being renovated. Bathrooms are limited to blue rooms. Please don't feed wildlife, don't speed a d watch for bicyclists, pedestrians and wildlife all through the park. Stay off the meadows. I've added some photos of some beautiful rare saxifrages belowm many meadow alpines are very slow growing/sensitive and trampling will kill them. Stay on walkways.
One of the most amazing and unforgettable experiences in my entire life. The sand dunes are giant and stand tall in the sky as you soak in the views.
This stop is likely out of the way, but it’s worth the visit and drive. We drove a little over two hours to watch the sunset at the dunes and I was beyond grateful we stayed committed to the visit.

This park is GORGEOUS! Tons to do including hiking, biking, kayaking, a scenic train ride, farmer's market on Saturdays (during summer and fall), so much to do and see! There is a fee for the train ride and if you purchase goodies at the farmer's market, otherwise everything is free! Grab a map at the visitor's center and explore. This is a wonderful and magical place to spend time in nature. I highly recommend visiting Brandywine Falls and The Ledges.
I really enjoyed the boardwalk loop trail. Lots of interesting things to see (definitely get a pamphlet describing each of the numbered view points along the trail). In addition to the stationary items (like trees and the lake) today I saw a couple of raccoons foraging. Be warned that the path to the visitors center was under construction, so there was a roundabout way of getting there (which did include about six stair steps) - once construction is finished there will be easy access to the visitors center.
Amazing park. Not as big as Yosemite, but just as pretty. Less crowded and bigger trees! General Sherman was cool but as you can see driving a pick up through a tree tells you how big the Sequoia’s are.
This was a very brief visit on a hot and sticky Sunday in August. We checked in at the visitor center first to get the lay of the land. Next, we decided to visit Ledges, a relatively easy trail with cool things to see. We loved the experience, but should have skipped the hike towards the top as there was no view to speak of. Also stopped at the well-known Slazay's Farmer Market (very cool!) and Brandywine Falls (best views are actually not at the top).

It's beautiful. It's a must see in my opinion. Most people bring boards to slide on the sand. The hike is a doozie. Bring water for sure. I also brought a change of clothes. We brought sandwiches & drove past the campground (point of no return) for a picnic with views. I didn't want to leave.
Massive park with so, so much to explore. We only touched the surface for the week we visited, but there were mesmerizing views and beautiful bears. A lot of very long, steep hills, so make sure your brakes are good before heading out. 5 stars doesn't even justify how much I loved it here.
Spent the week exploring the entire park. The heat was terrible during the day but absolutely worth it to see all the sights. Drove up and down through everything we could in the time we had! From sunrise to sunset and in between its absolutely beautiful. The stars are insane and the quiet is peaceful.
Due to the heat, we did not walk around much. However, it was still a great drive. Dogs cannot go anywhere other than parking lots. Bring lots of water and have a plan to stay cool. The dark skies were wonderful, and sunset in the cactus garden was beautiful.
From the hike through the peaceful forest, to the stunning dunes and calm blue waters... I've traveled the world, and this is still one of my favorite beaches. I love it best out of season when there are no noisy jet skis zipping back and forth.
Absolutely beautiful. You need to drive from the different spots of interest. Baldy is a steep travel down the dune to get to an expansive beach area. The water is warm and there is so much room. Love it.

This forest is a wonder and privilege to see. To be able to witness what mother nature has done beyond our lifetime is beyond words to describe here. This is something you must witness for yourselves. We could spend months in this Nation Park and still be under its captivating beauty each day.

One of the least visited national parks, but still definitely worth stopping by for anyone traveling through the area. Much of the park can't be visited from trails, but instead requires a canoo or kayak. We kept our trip simple and checked out the visitor center and the easy to traverse boardwalk trail. Depending on when you visit you may or may not see any animals from the trail, but it was still a scenic walk and easy enough for our 6 and 3 year old to venture on. The visitor center offers a simple overview of the park and its history as well as a small gift shop. Parking and access is totally free! Be warned though, the place is covered in massive orb spiders. They seem to stay out of the way, but they are still very alarming to see hanging around the buildings! Luckily they were not on the trail itself.
We visited Brandywine Falls and did the trail. Beautiful waterfall and hike, easy and most of it in shade from the beautiful old trees. We loved stopping on our hike and walking on the fresh cold water, just be careful it's slippery!
A fun time in the sun! Some moderate hiking trails. Walking for a long time in the sand is a challenge. Well worth it. Be prepared that it gets very busy later in the afternoon. Good luck with parking if you arrive later in the day.
We always see something interesting here. This time it was 3 snakes, 4 turtles, and tons of fish. There are lots of trails and they are well marked, but it is easy to get off trail if you are not careful. Staying on the boardwalk is great with small kids. We always see water snakes in the summer, but this time we saw a Cottonmouth and a Rattler. Check the website before you go - sometimes it is flooded and only a few trails will be open.
My goodness! Absolutely stunning, rich history, and the trees are amazingly huge! A bit surprised that the entrance is 35, and there's no pet "allowed" on the trail. However, the rangers are understanding, and told me, "even though you carry him, next time you're here, pet's are not allowed." So, if anyone wants to bring your furry friends, leave them at home. But it's definitely worth the drive here.
Incredibly gorgeous and massive park! There are so many hiking trails here that you could probably spend a week here and not even do 10% of them! I only spent two days at this park, and I hiked maybe 10 miles or so worth of trails, and it was definitely worth the trip! Stunning views, moderately difficult trails, and all sorts of wildlife! 100% recommended!
I had never heard of this park before planning this trip, but I am very glad that I went out of my way to come here! Very beautiful park with the informative Boardwalk Trail and easy breezy paths around the visitor center. I'm not much of a hiker, but all the trails in and around the visitor center were very walkable.
Amazing National Park! Very beautiful and diverse. I like how the trails and boardwalks show the different ecosystems. Be sure to bring insect repellent for the shaded trails. We weren't able to hike the Otter Cave Hammock Trail because there had been a lot of rain, and it was flooded. Many companies offer air boat rides, which is a great way to experience the Everglades and see some wildlife.
We didn’t have much time, so we did the Diana dunes dare trail which was pretty easy. The landscape changed quickly from climbing up the wooden stairs, to going down the woods, and seeing some sand dunes, to entering the beach. The trail was awesome. We could even see Chicago buildings in the distance. Spent some nice quality time there. Worth it only if you’re passing by, rather that going there just for the NP.
Beautiful park with plenty to explore on a long weekend! The beaches are nice and well maintained.
We enjoyed driving around Beverly Shores and seeing the Century of Progress homes. We hope to come back and observe the night sky next time.

I had a great experience visiting Sequoia National Park. The park is absolutely stunning, and the giant sequoia trees are truly awe-inspiring. I hiked the Grizzly Giant Loop Trail, which was a moderate hike but offered some amazing views. I also camped in the park, and the scenery was incredible. There is a large waterfall about 2 miles from the campground that is not too difficult to visit. The river next to the campground was also high with flowing water. I would definitely recommend Sequoia National Park to anyone looking for a beautiful and unforgettable outdoor experience."
Definitely need to visit here early for the best chance to see wildlife. You can book fishing trips and just tell your captain you want to go super early for the best chance to see alligators, manatees, and other cool critters. I personally love birds and we saw Kites and Egrets to name a few.

Wonderful views and dramatic changes between beaches and mountains. The elk were polite and the bears accommodating. The fishing had some biting comments and the rangers were full of......knowledge. Plan carefully but if a park is full go to the beach don't get discouraged, as you there is allways room at the beach.
One amazing park! You truly need over a week to appreciate the breadth of the actual park, the streams and mountains, not the towns nearby but just the amazing rock formations, vegetation and wildlife. We had a whirlwind trip, much too fast but I’d like to go back and tent camp with no interaction with the built up towns around this amazing place. The roads and more well known trails obviously populated by numerous tourists but venturing just a short distance into the heart of the forest is truly breathtaking. Close encounter by my son with a water moccasin but quick reflexes saved the day- be smart wherever you are, out in the natural elements or in a city and bring water wherever you go
This has been my backyard since I was a baby. I never fully appreciated being able to go into the National Park any time I pleased until I was older. Now since traveling the U.S and visiting other National Parks I am even more grateful for CVNP. It's free! Free to enter and free to park. You can explore just about anywhere. There is so much to do and see. Waterfalls. Scenic railroad. Caves. The canal. Rock formations. Ledges. Cute visitor centers. Fall colors in the fall time. I can't say enough good things about this clean and gorgeous park.
We came here on one of our pilgrimages to see and hear Lyle Lovett and his wonderful Large Band on a perfect August summer evening. For one thing I had never known until now that Wolf Trap is a National Park, and the only one that is a performing arts center. It is hard to describe how lovely it is to sit in the audience as the sky darkens, and nature’s summer evening chorus joins in with the performers on stage, which in this case included the National Symphony Orchestra accompanying Lyle.
The grounds appear immaculate, and the staff and volunteers seem to expertly manage the human and vehicular traffic flow before and after the event. We used Uber, which I would highly recommend.

got a little rained out when I went but got a small window to see the beauty of it! park rangers are great, the flora and wildlife are very unique/beautiful! I only wish I could've spent more time there. for $30 you get a 7 day pass so it's worth every penny!
A simple google review does not do it. Get out there, book that trip, go out there and see it. This place is absolutely beautiful in every aspect. The trails are incredible, even the simple drive through the park … is amazing. I didn’t see any bears here .. granted I wasn’t here for more then maybe 4-6 hours. But definitely be aware of your surroundings if hiking any trails. You don’t get any phone service out here , so DEFINITELY grab a map from one of the offices along the way! Will come in handy more then you think. There’s restrooms and little gift shops and information centers throughout the park that are worth stopping at. All the staff is super friendly and helpful.
I originally selected 4 stars, but as I was typing realized that even though there are a couple notes, it was well worth a 5 star 😊. Great trip for the little one. Took the hall of mosses hiking trail, absolutely beautiful for someone from Arizona. It's a busy area, even on weekdays expect the trail to have others not far behind. If your looking for a wildlife route, I recommend one of the creek trails, we saw elk but definitely too noisy on the mosses trail for uncomfortable animals. If you're looking for an alternative while saving $30 (national park fee, pass is good for 7 days), the Quinoc rain Forrest next to Quinoc lake is an easier drive, less people, and only 5 dollars for some very beautiful views.
Fantastic park for kayaking and hiking in SC Swamp Country. I’ve been here for years and just hiked the boardwalk loop, but this park (the only National one in SC), has a lot more to offer. Kayaking from the Cedar Creek ramp (past the main entrance) offers incredible flat water black water backwater kayaking through cypress, Tupelo, and more. You’ll see snakes and spiders and mushrooms. You might even see a hog or two digging around in the mud. The water moves so slow you can drop and pull out at the same ramp - and the park provides a nice structure to load and unload your boats. The boardwalk in the park proper is a great and reasonable length - elevated above the muck with a self-guided numbered tour that highlights the flora, fauna, and natural history of the whole impressive place. The entire park is criss-crossed with trails, and this area is incredibly unique. As far as national parks go, it may not be the biggest or the flashiest our nation has to offer, but it’s unique, beautiful, free, and right here in South Carolina. A must-see by boat or by foot.
One of more unknown and underrated National Parks, Congaree was a pleasant surprise. Start at the visitor center, where there is free parking, picnic tables and grills, restrooms and the gift shop. The visitor center is a little dated and could use a refresh, especially the restrooms.
The boardwalk trail was lovely and has a lot to look at. It does get crowded on the weekends because it’s great for families. If you want more of a secluded longer hike, we did the Weston Lake Loop, which took a couple of hours but it was worth it.

Absolutely gorgeous, stunning and breathtaking all around. We had clear skies and a beautiful hike on hurricane ridge. The huge array of biomes available at Olympic national park is pretty wild. At times it almost felt like totally different park due to the diversity. 100% worth a visit but if you really wanna see the park plan for a couple days minimum.
Attending an awesome event 4 the community! Vibe and scenery was great (food, music, people)! My only grip is the restroom facility. Water from outside, gathered in the restroom and the sink reminded me of junior high school (40 yrs ago). I find it sad, that across the water there are 2 stadiums and a yacht club, but the children of Ward 8 don't have access 2 what is rather basic. I'll visit the park again and I hope some administrator will make the necessary upgrades for the children of that community. Only 3 stars 🌟 becuz of the outdated restroom, it would have been 5 🌟
Really cool spot to see live performances. The venue has a lot of seating up front in an amphitheater style, with lawn seating behind. The only real draw backs are that since it’s outside, it can get a little hot/cold (depending on time/weather) and the parking wait can get pretty long. If you plan on parking on site, arrive EARLY. Overall great spot though and I very much recommend.
We went for the boardwalk trail. It was a really nice walk. We saw a lot of animals on the way, including alligator and turtles! For those who are going first time, don't forget to take a paper trail guide as there are many interesting points a long the trail. There are available at visitor center.

A classic, came here early in the morning. Did 8 miles of hiking and left as a different person. Take the sights in and breathe the freshest air in the states. Park rangers were super cool and helped me out with parking. Definitely hit this place up early before the trails crowd.
I went to check out the water 🌊 since clean water initiative support funding was pass to restore anacostia river in Northeast , Southeast , Northwest . The clean water Act is a federal congressional bill pass to restore water ways around military stations with access to rivers.. From my visit to the anacostia park southeast navy yard location , The river water 💦🌊 looks to be much more cleaner to me from my last visit & The river has no visible debris, plastics or dead fish floating around in the evening tide along the river base.
Born and raised in DC. This park has really grown throughout the years. Glad to be apart of this major change. This is the go to park for all events.
Had a wonderful time on our airboat tour of the everglades. I've been to several national parks and they're all beautiful, but this one has an interesting deadly, quiet beauty about it. Absolutely gorgeous and HUGE. You will never see the entire thing, but the tiny portion we saw on our tour was well worth it.
Love this venue. Lawn seating on a perfect slope for excellent view of the stage. The cushions for rent (with back rests) are comfortable and totally worth the cost. The overhead screen brings the stage closer. Great sound system.
If you haven’t been to Wolf Trap before, it’s one of our best National Parks and an amazing place to see a show. Bring your picnic basket and Adult beverages(it’s the only National Park or music venue that I know of that lets you BYOB). I typically get a seat inside just in case of rain but always enjoy the lawn ahead of time. I have tickets for 5 events there this summer which should tell you everything…
What an amazing experience, place is set up for a great time, stands for food and drinks all over the place helps with the grab and go so that you can continue have a great time. If you don't like their prices... no problem... they will let you bring your food and drinks. Vibe was great and crowd was super well behaved. With a touch of a reggae legend playing my visit couldn't get much better. Parking is free and there is plenty of it. They run golf carts around to help some that may have a hard time going up the slight incline going up to the entrance. Just have fun, I am sure you will.
Blue lake, green forest, rushing rivers and crashing waterfalls. It’s truly a unique place that offers a lot. The abundance of trails to take into the forest. The mile long beaches you can walk and hear the waves. There’s so much to see and do here. Explore it and you won’t regret it.
No swings, there is a skating rink with music, restroom is not clean, there is an area to cookout and have a party, but you need a park permit. You might even find a place to fish if you like to.
It is such a shame this is one of the least visited national parks. And its free!

We wanted to hike the weston lake trail but saw gators and water moccasins close to the banks of the lake and decided not to for precaution. Trails are marked throughout.
However, I can see why this is one of the least visited parks. The visitor center was lacking pizzazz. It would be better if there were more interactions between the park ranger and visitors through educational programs or ranger talks. But rangers do not approach you and try to talk to you.
I am not sure I would come back again but am glad I had the chance to stop by while in the area.

I always love visiting this park for a quick walk or to just get away and relax. They have a skating park, playground for the kids and plenty of cookout shelters and open space to set up your tents and grills. Always a vibe!
Very danger area. I don't suggest to come here alone or by subway train either. Homeless are around.
