Excellent authentic first generation, Mexican tacos and similar fare. Drool worthy and finger licking good. Behind Saint Xavier, one block down from Aronoff center, across the street from the closed Izzy Cadets, he would be proud of this business. Tacos Birrias were amazing.
It really depends what day you go here, what service you’ll get. I’ve been 2x in the last week.

I always get the Pollo Bandido (no beans) and it’s soooo delicious. Chicken and rice covered in queso. It was $45 for three people during lunch hours.

Food was mediocre at best. Presentation looked great but the taste, or lack of taste I should say, was disappointing. Best thing served was the French fires in the kids meal. The salsa tasted like they dumped cheap spaghetti sauce into a bowl.
This particular Taco Shop is very clean, speedy and always good food. This shop seems to give you more food than the other Taco Shops.

Definitely a top notch Mexican restaurant. I ordered a frozen strawberry margarita and it was one of the best I've ever had. My wife ordered the enchilada and Chile relleno combo, and I ordered the Enchiladas Mexicano plate. Our food was awesome. Everything tasted fresh and well made. Even the chips & salsa was good. They offered a "hot salsa" that was actually hot. We did not order dessert but I wouldn't doubt that it's as good as their food. The service staff was attentive and kept everyone taken care of.

The food was phenomenal! I am an authentic Mexican so I tend to be picky with my food. This place met all the expectations. Everything was delicious, but if you’re a sizzling fajita fanatic, and you’re eating with another person, try the fajitas for two. It’s very well served! I honestly loved it. I will be back!
Don't let the pictures on the menu fool you. You are going to get a lot more food than you think, and it's good too! From the beans, guacamole, and rice; this is Mexican comfort food at its finest. I may not be able to eat again for another week lol. Would highly recommend coming here again and again.

Tacos and margs are great here! Margs are strong!! It doesn’t have the same atmosphere as other mazunte locations and is definitely more quiet and laid back. The salsa bar is a great way to try all the salsas and tastes great
We have lived in Independence for a couple of years and decided to give this place a try. We went on a Saturday around 1:30 in the afternoon, it wasn’t particularly busy. We stood by the host desk up front, and didn’t see any staff in the restaurant, just a couple of seated tables. There was a bell ringing I assume alerting the kitchen someone was there, after about 10 minutes of standing there and only seeing one waiter who came out and never acknowledged us we left, probably won’t be coming back. Not a good way to draw in new business!
I ordered a chimichanga and 2 chocolate churros. I was so excited it had been a while. When I got home which was two blocks away I was so disgusted because the meat was not the usual it was canned meat the government gives on commottities to the needy. they didn't even try to spruce it up. The churros were so hard and chewy not even a piranha could bite a piece off. Another occasion it was twenty minutes before closing and at the drive thru the person said they were closed. I said your sign says your not. She said I already shut the stoves down I said all I wanted was a quesadilla she said ok after I insisted. When I got my food and ate it right away the cheese inside was not even melted still in the shredded form it comes in. Another time I got the same treatment but an hour before closing and they said all they had available were certain items and it would be canned meat.
No AC in area we sat in. Very busy evening with customers. Service okay. Food very hot. Salsa smooth with warm chips. Hard beef taco lots of beef and cheese. Chicken enchilada with red sauce had big chicken pieces. Fresh overall. Cancun located in Western Hills bowling alley.
Great place to drop in and get a quick bite. People are friendly and the place isn't too loud. You know when you go in somewhere and the radio is up so high it feels like you're at a rave? Not like that at all! Perfect. Love this place.
Food is fresh and the staff is super friendly. Never wait long for you food to get to the table. Will continue to come in the future !
Really good food, and amazing service. My sister had some of the different craft beers and was impressed. The tacos were really good and it was a lot of food for the price!
We came here for lunch. The staff were slammed with to go orders and moving at breakneck pace. Our order got lost in the fray. They offered apologies and a refund, but we decided to wait for the food. Things happen sometimes and we could see how busy they were. No big. It only took a moment after they found the order. I'm so glad we did! It was AMAZING.

Asada tacos were delicious and the 3 salsas were tasty. The tequila salad dressing was one of a kind.
Anyone that can’t give this place 5 stars hasn’t tried enough Mexican restaurants. Absolutely the best! The chips are so fresh and the best ever and combined with the salsa … Wow! The Margarita is amazing! Perfect blend and not too sweet. I can’t recommend this place enough!
It's Taco Bell. Not much needs to be said beyond that. The food is what you expect. Made well, tasted good. The service was friendly and fast. Also, the store and property were clean and we'll maintained.
I have issues at the Maize rd. Store that I don’t see at any other locations. I live near the location so I’ve given it multiple chances but they consistently give poor quality food and service, particularly in the mornings.
There have been mornings where no one is there, even though the store is supposed to be open. I’ve received items that don’t match what I’ve ordered or are missing key ingredients. I go out of my way to visit other locations moving forward

For context: we came here on a Sunday and they were really busy. Given the circumstances, the servers were trying their best. The process were great! The food was pretty bland though and the picture is what they called a chalupa. It was just a cheap hard taco shell.
My first time eating there & the food was awesome, environment was built and decorated official. The staff/servers were very nice and helpful explaining menu items. Lots of choices...hard to choose but all of us enjoyed what we ordered.
Went through the drive thru.. .. my homie ordered from the menu ... Short wait, very worthy of a rate, not too hot, not too dry, my day became better ( it wasnt bad) from something tasty and it is above average for taste ( not a common flavor, smart folks! ) So if you are reading a review, go for it!

An excellent service, very good prices and very good taste in all its dishes. Always providing a friendly treatment and with a lot of efficiency, Really highly recommended. Don't be fooled when looking at a small place. If you want to eat well and something of quality. This is the right place.
I just love this place. Their house margarita is so good and the servers have good recommendations based on what you like. I keep getting their Michoacan Special. Possibly not spelled correctly, but it was a server recommendation. It is chicken, shrimp, and, veggies over rice covered in a spinach cheese sauce. I highly recommend it. It goes so well with their house made hot sauce. You need to eat their chips too. They make them fresh so don't feel too bad that you have to pay for them.😊

First time going here, very impressed!! The inside is very clean, welcoming, and fun, and the food was incredible. Our waitress was very attentive, kind, and easy to talk to. Will be going back! The pollo de monterey was one of the tastiest dishes I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant and the strawberry margarita was very delicious as well.

Employee was too busy leaned over the counter kissing her boyfriend to do her job. My order was handed out to the drive thru and had to be remade. Then some of it was wrong. When I went to get it corrected the "woman" kissing her boyfriend was extremely rude, snatched my receipt and told the cook she wasn't dealing with me. The cook came up and argued with me about what I had ordered. I kept telling her it was supposed to be no sauce and they finally remade the items in question. After about 30 minutes total we were finally getting the right food. The "woman" yelled at me "you're welcome, have a great day" extremely aggressive when I grabbed the bag. I asked for the manager and she came out yelling I was being rude to her employee. She never bothered to ask what had happened. The manager was Laney.
This place is so delicious! It's so much more reasonable than Taco Bell and other fast food places I have been to. I highly recommend their daily deals or their value meals..
Brought a large group for lunch. The staff was very accommodating. Each of our orders came out hot and perfect. The lunch portions were quite generous.Our server was cheerful throughout our entire stay!

However last night we dined and I had the seafood fajitas which I have had many times. They are supposed to have shrimp, tilapia and scallops. The vegetables were plenty but there were no scallops at all and the smallest piece of tilapia ever. I paid 23.99 I believe for my dinner so I was very disappointed! I will not ever order again!

I ordered the caldo de res and it was pretty decent, lots of carrots one piece of potato, I didn't mind the broth was flavorful overall a good caldo. My daughter ordered the shrimp fajitas, the beans and rice were perfect, the shrimp were a little over cooked, they were stiff. The service were warm ana attentive, the dine in experience is very cozy and humble, not recommend for being groups although idk recommend the gorditas and it's my go to for gorditas.
My husband loved the beef and carnitas tacos he got. My carnitas tacos were amazing too! They tasted almost homemade. The salsa was flavorful and spicy. The ice cold Coke in a bottle from Mexico was the icing on the cake.

I'm so disappointed with how my visit and service. Regularly I stop in on my walk and order a burrito well done same as always. Walked home to open my food an see the egg isn't cooked, neither is the. Bacon an its noticeably smaller then usual. So I went to get it remade not even 15 min they wanted the food of course n receipt . My food was cooked but hardly any egg n they added sausage .I wanted bacon. I said while that's cooking can I get some churro for the Inconvenience I left my wallet at home expecting since I called my food would be ready. This young man said absolutely not something he can do WHAT? CHURRO IS A DOLLAR AND SOME CHANGE . SMH . I dont know if I'm coming back very disappointed

Fresh hot food at fair prices. The tacos are very good... I will definitely be back for more... Good yummy Mexican food. The food has been very consistent with multiple visits... That's a big + for me...
If I could leave 1 review I would, I live 5 mins from here and waited about 30 minutes for my food just to be soggy and taste super gross and cold. I have never been so disappointed in how this food has came out I mean look at it would you eat it? Those are Doritos and don't even look like it, not one chip was edible. My wife's tostada was so soggy she couldn't even eat it either it was honestly disgusting to look at.
They always have great customer service which is rare nowadays and I have to say they made me laugh this morning when I ordered the California crunchwrap he said I'll have your total after window and so I pull up to the window and then he said that'll be $20 even and I was like that must be a really big crunchwrap thinking he was serious and he was just joking around that made me laugh put a good start to my day
We love Taco shop! One of our favorite stops for a quick and tasty lunch. Their crispy flour taco with sour cream is amazing! I also love their enchiladas. The prices are really good for the quality and quantity of food!
Personally love Taco Bell, the Maize street location is hands down the worst though. Quesadillas aren’t cut, sauce never on quesadillas, no cheese on tacos, etc.
we have been going to this restaurant for the last five years and have watched as the management has grown this business very well and has branched off to having a total of three locations here on the west side of Cincinnati. The folks who run the players are super nice and are always excited when you try to speak Spanish to them. The food is absolutely incredible my favorite is the steak and chicken fajitas with corn tortillas not flour as well as the enchilada beef dish. My kids and wife love the atmosphere and the food as well it’s always an exciting moment when I shout out loud to everyone who wants to go to Cancun? And everybody says me very loudly
A health inspector needs to go there. They served me a burrito filled with fat. Uncooked as well. Just fat on my carne asada fries and uncooked fries. I am hoping I don’t get sick from this place. I took three bites and had to throw it away. Why not take pride in the food you make. Do not go here if you value your health.

Stopped at this great find before a show. Order at the counter and they'll service the food to your table. No wait time, close/intimate decor and subtle lighting. The horchata was great. Would definitely come back!

4.5 stars. The prices were a bit steep compared to similar dishes around town, but this is Santa Fe after all. The beer was outstanding, I loved their draft stout. I had the ceviche tostadas which was pretty good (2 tostadas for $18). The service was good and prompt, they are community oriented so that's also good. I'd definitely go back for a beer and appetizer.

Went today for breakfast at 8:30am , ordered a #11 breakfast combo with OJ to drink and received a dinner menu item with a taco. Husbands breakfast crunch wrap was cold and inedible. This location has been consistently getting worse in quality.

My first time here and I am Very disappointed in my service and my experience. I spoke with Jose the manager on the phone he was polite about it and offered to take care of an experience next time I came. I told him after this I don't know if I will be back.🤷♀️ Claudia was my server she was nice. However when the food was brought out my friend sat there with his food and waited for me to get my food. We waited 15 minutes for my food to come out. He had to ask the food runner where my food was at after. The food runner had ran back out twice to bring corn tortillas for his food I took 2 bites of my burrito and left the rest sitting on the table. It was disgusting especially for it to take as long as it did to come out And then I ordered a side of Queso cheese for my chips and I have never tasted Queso cheese like this from Mexican restaurant. All it was was a white sauce.🤮 Definitely not a good experience especially with it being my 1st time here.....

We had a delicious chicken taco. The place had a lovely authentic Mexican feel. The taxi was fresh and amazing. Can't wait to go again and take my son who loves Mexican food.
My go-to place for everything Al pastor. I've been coming here for a few years, now; every meal has been praiseworthy. I pass multiple other tacquerias to get to this downtown spot for food/taste that I can count on to be great every time.

Literally handled every drive thru order before waiting on me at front counter. I thought mid-way through the wait that they were not really open for dine in / carry out. No one acknowledged me until last car pulled away from window
We ordered through the app. They forgot food and left meat off of items. Literally a teaspoon of meat was on the soft tacos. I called and spoke to a male and my husband took the food back to be re-made. The male was not there and he dealt with a female who apparently did not know what was going on. We still did not get all of our food. I will be calling again to speak to the manager tomorrow. My daughter has a concert so I spent $70 on fast food for our kids and her friends. It was definitely fast since we didn’t even get all of our items. Will never order from this location again and definitely will tell others to avoid this location. Should have read the reviews prior to ordering.
So delicious! The food was amazing..... They even had gluten free buns for a torta! Fantastic mixed drinks and beer. Wish we lived closer so we could eat here!
I ordered 2 beef chalupa's and got a smear of meat and mostly lettuce. It all came back to me after I left why I don't eat at Taco bell anymore. The food doesn't taste like it use too.
Great food and atmosphere and nice staff. We tried the chips, salsas, queso, a number of the tacos and the margaritas and everything was great. Nothing was exceptionally spicy but the flavour was delicious. I wish I wasn’t only visiting the city or else this would be a regular place for me!

It was my first time there and the first time I experienced freshly made guacamole!!! It was sooooo good and definitely loved it with chips. Great service and great atmosphere as well. The shrimp tacos I had were good. Some great treats from a special one.
Exceptional in EVERY way! The decor and ambience is intriguing & colorful! After seated we were promptly served chips and salsa (and at no extra charge)! Our drinks were large and reasonably priced. My strawberry margarita was delicious, with generous tequila content & beautiful fruit garnish.

We went to Hidden Mountain Brewing after traveling 8 hours on a road trip, and got real hungry. The dining was not busy at 7:45 on a Friday night and we got seated right away. We both ordered Frito Pies, red chile. We also order margaritas, which at $14.00 was still pretty expensive, but good. The Frito Pies were pretty goodm considering we hadn't had New Mexico chile in months. I also tried their Rosa Mexicana Margarita. Sugar instead of salt on rim. Not good. I will go back for more food, and try the brews. A very nice touch was the Mexican Mariachi played on the speakers.

This quaint spot served up some amazing food. It took awhile to get our order and never had drink refills. It was not busy so I expected better service but I loved the food. Chips are amazing!!
My Father and I both enjoyed our meal here. It was an early dinner so there weren't that many guests yet. It took a few minutes for anyone to greet us. After we were seated, a few servers walked by without saying anything and I didn't appreciate that our server Chris was wearing his airpods while serving us. we also had to find someone to bring us utensils for our food. The service definitely could have been better. But,Our food came out quickly and HOT. All in all I'd recommend this Independence KY. location.
Mexican/New Mexican brewery. Food was pretty good, service very good. This is your classic brewery restaurant, expectations met for this type of establishment. The dessert was a flan, which I expected it to be smaller and softer. It felt more like a cake. Taste was good, but prefer the classic one, usually round serving with caramel sauce.
So I ordered chicken fajitas the way I like it and it's get to the table and my lettuce is disgusting as in brown in color and since how I didn't do green peppers in with my chicken and onions so with that being said they put extra way more onions because I didn't want green peppers. I don't highly recommend this restaurant all because one I had to pay for something I didn't eat and two my sweet tea was disgusting and wasn't sweet at all. Excellent food, fast friendly service, large portions, very reasonable price. Would highly recommend and would definitely make a return visit.

I want to start with the fact that our waitress was very kind and amenable. She made us laugh and catered to all of our needs, which should have been easy anyway considering the restaurant was pretty empty. But let me say that the environment created by the other staff was not friendly. A group of male workers were putting tables together for a large party coming in, and I heard them cuss multiple times while doing so. In what language, you ask? Spanish. I may be white, but I am fluent in Spanish. With no latino-appearing customers, it's my belief that they thought no one understood them. When I told my monolingual fiancé that they were throwing around Spanish equivalents of the F bomb, he was shocked as well. He said he never would have guessed that they were saying that out loud in the dining room. Don't get me wrong, we listen to explicit music and use those words here and there, but there's a time and place for such language. Very unprofessional in my opinion, as it makes me wonder what else they say around customers who look as though they only speak English.
Now let's get to the food. I ordered a beef chimichanga. I believe it was around $14. The portion size did not represent $14 when compared to other Mexican restaurants, so I was a bit unsatisfied with that. Anyway, I asked for an absence of lettuce, sour cream, and tomatoes. It came to me perfectly hot and correct. However, the beef was very dry inside the chimichanga and a bit pink in certain parts. I'm not afraid of pink, but I was not happy with the dryness. Additionally, the beans that came on the side were very thin and flavorless. I wasn't too happy about that, but I just combined mouthfuls of it with the rice, which was average. Overall, the food was a 3/5. It didn't wow me at all, and some parts were unsatisfactory.
In sum, I recommend this restaurant if you are okay with average, non-authentic Mexican food. It didn't wow me, although the lack of courtesy by the male staff did. Feel free to try it out yourself.

Service is great and great taste of the food, specifically their beans.
While the food was great, the overall experience was a bit lacking. There seemed to be some mechanical issues that made it a but warm inside. They seemed to be trying to deal with it but people could definitely tell it was a struggle. While most people enjoyed thier service, we were a little shocked when we didn't get the drinks we ordered until we were almost done eating. Server seemed to forget something every time they came back to the table. Typically my wife and I love Rio Grande but this particular location I'd not one of our favorites. Hopefully they can overcome some of the building issues and iorn out some customer service and this could be a fairly solid place to dine from time to time.
We stopped here on our cross country move after a long day of travel. This place was SO GOOD!!! I had the cup of corn soup, which was the best corn soup I’ve had. Even my 5-year-old liked it and ate half of it. I also had a salad and the beer taster. Their tangerine wheat seasonal beer was my favorite.
My husband, ordered a bbq shrimp quesadilla with no tortilla… yeah… what?! I believe one of the managers came over to him a few times what exactly he wanted because it was a little confusing what he was asking for (and I even told him that!), but eventually it was deduced that he wanted bbq shrimp, rice and beans. He just didn’t want a tortilla. Since they didn’t have that on the menu, they graciously made it for him. He said it was really good. I encouraged them to add it to the menu!
Definitely a must visit if you’re in the Santa Fe area!

I really look forward to stopping here for my taco needs.. the super sour cream tacos are the best. The normal tacos were delicious as well. The taco burger was pretty good as well.
Very busy but still great service. Good American Mexican dishes and drinks. We'll be back.

Great service and omg the food is so delicious. Selection of meats is huge and the menu is comprehensive and everything looks and tastes amazing.
Wasnt given a receipt in the drive thru, called and tried to make a complaint to the shift manager and he didn’t care. Called the store manager who said they couldn’t do anything without the receipt. She didn’t care that I was not given one, she didn’t care that the manager didn’t take my complaint. When I asked to talk to the general manager she hung up. I called back and got the area manager who said to call the main office and leave a complaint. Somebody will call me back.

Not busy at all. Service was good. My son and nephew have eaten in the Western Hills location twice and rave about how "bussin" the food is so we checked it out. Great prices, huge drinks, delicious meals. I had chicken fajita nachos and the boys had the burrito barro. Will definitely be back.
It's always a great time for friends and family alike to come down to Cancun and enjoy a piping hot meal in good company! Our waitress was extremely attentive, and made sure we never wanted for anything during our stay. I tried out a Jumbo margarita with strawberry and mango flavor, which was an amazing and affordable addition to my delicious meal. Cancun is always my top pick for a delicious and affordable dinner, whether it's date night or a family affair, Cancun always takes care of us to a T! We will definitely be back, as always ❤️
Every single time I come through the drive-thru, my order is messed up. Doesn't matter what I order, I can bet something is not as requested or completely forgotten. (but best believe I'll be charged for it!) I'm very polite, but that doesn't seem to matter. I get rude service anyways. No point in making a complaint, in fear my food would get tampered with. Tastes alright & a good value. Just wish the employees gave a s#!+, a little more.

The food at this place is excellent. The portions are huge. I couldn't finish the meal. The quesadillas are filled with delicious veggies and protein.

Awesome hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. I had the signature Hit Cheetos burrito. Absolutely one of the best things I've ever eaten. The hot cheetos fries looked delicious, and are on my list for next time. Great service and definitely a must visit stop for any adventurous foodie.
Stopped by on our way through Wichita based on the reviews. They are well earned. I had the Supreme nachos which had SO much meat I was floored. They were also very generous with the guacamole, cheese, every topping. Others in our group had the steak burritos which were also stuffed full of tasty meat, guac, and Pico. Definitely marking this place in case we're in the area again.
