This vehicle was parked in the employee parking area for the museum with a disgusting message on the rear window self proclaiming the employee as a cop murderer. Brought this to the attention of the front desk employees of the museum to which they seemed to have cared less. What a despicable message for your employee to embrace, and to associate your business to by taking no action against it when it is brought to your attention.
It was okay, honestly I was not very impressed. The cowboy theme is alright. Building and views are great, nice roof top.
Super fun place to visit, especially if you are visiting from out of town. There are several exhibits with optical illusions and interactive displays to enjoy. It was fun trying to figure out how several of the illusions worked. Definitely take lots of pictures while you are here. It’s not an overly big place, so if it isn’t crowded you can probably see and explore everything in less than 90 minutes (and that’s with plenty of time to experience each item on display). I will say that it is a bit over priced but it’s worth doing once (I doubt I’d visit a second time though).

Very awesome museum, one of the most impressive art museums I have ever visited, very large selection of art and being free admission makes it top tier. Highly recommend stopping in during your trip to Dallas.
Really interesting place. Very clean and well kept. Easy street parking.

Pro tip, they have a shop on 2nd level to get cool Russian souvenirs.
Admission is free. Secure your tickets online in advance. You cannot carry drinks etc but there is a coatcheck where you can secure any items that you brought with you. This is especially useful for people out for the day exploring the city like myself.
I really enjoyed The Dallas Museum of Art. I was worried that I didn’t see all of the items on display due to the layout being quite maze-like. The arrangement was really neat but I know I missed some walkways and I completely missed the sculpture garden, sadly. You could easily spend hours here. Photography is allowed expect for borrowed pieces and special exhibits. Flash photography is prohibited. There were two women doing an Instagram style photo shoot when I was there. They were monopolizing several of the art pieces that I would have liked to have seen but no one stopped them so I guess it was acceptable. There are lots of employees around to ask questions if needed.
Very clean, quiet and beautiful. The architecture and interior design were very nice. Probably a 1-2 hour museum.
These are pretty good for the outdoor sculptures, The interior exhibits are great as well, and have their own uniqueness, and the overall walk-through should only take about 30 minutes to an hour to feel complete, and I suggest also checkout out the nearby area. I parked at a meter north of the DMA and walked through Nasher and Crow within about an hour and a half, and touched up on DMA. Nasher isn't free, so consider that when planning it
The Museum is an absolute gem! I had a fantastic time spending a few hours walking around and immersing myself in the thought-provoking exhibits. The diverse range of contemporary art on display is truly impressive.
We had a blast! We had a great time and they do a very good job of laying everything out and making it very interactive. The staff was very helpful and nice. They took lots of photos for us which was great as we were not wanting to do the extra photo selfie experience. It took us around 40 minutes to hit the whole museum and it was worth going to. I'm not sure if we'll come back anytime soon as its one of those things that you see once and then you're done... but it was still fun and enjoyable.
The Harmonia Rosales Master Narrative exhibit is absolutely breathtaking. The exhibit moved me to tears while the stories unfolded. My favorite piece in this exhibition is Beyond the Peonies, 2021 (Oil on Canvas Mounted on Wood Panel). I would share a picture of this mesmerizingly beautiful work but, I strongly encourage everyone to visit the exhibit. The Harmonia Rosales exhibition is truly beautifully curated. I am so thankful I could visit Atlanta to see this exhibit. Thank you Spelman College Museum of Fine The Arts.
You just go experience this in person.
Breath taking

Super fun. We went when it was 110 outside so the sculpture garden was closed. They said it is usually opens each morning till it gets to hot. We were going to go back but run out of time. (the museum is free)
An astounding collection of art and artifacts from around the globe. The African and Asian art galleries were my favorites! An employee suggested we begin at the 4th floor and make our way down, and I’m glad they did! Such an incredible experience. A must visit in Dallas!
Went for my birthday and had a blast! Pleasantly surprised how cool a lot of the illusions are! Some of them even stumped me. Highly recommend for date night or family day if you’re looking for something fun and interactive to do in the area.
This was a very cool experience. The exhibits were very cool and I love the interaction. It made for a fun time with the kids and dinner really cool pictures. I even learned a thing or two. I would definitely visit again!
I’ve been wanting to come here for quite sometime. I was having a stressful morning and decided to just throw that whole situation away and restart the day. I enjoyed floating through the galleries. I got hungry and went to their cafe and I was impressed. I excepted school lunch but was treated to a culinary delight. The strawberry mango compote was refreshing it had a hint of ginger but it was beautiful 😍 the mini bri and crostini worked wonderfully. I want to come back and finish looking around. It was fun and it wasn’t crowded although people were round about.
Museum of Illusions - Atlanta is an absolute blast for families! We had a fantastic time exploring the mind-bending optical illusions. My 10-year-old nephew couldn't get enough of the interactive exhibits and mind-boggling displays. From rooms that made us question our perception to mind-bending sculptures, every corner was a new adventure. The staff was friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. We spent hours laughing, taking pictures, and creating unforgettable memories. If you're looking for a fun and unique museum experience, don't miss out on the Museum of Illusions - Atlanta!
This was the first time I went to this museum. It's a small museum that was done very well. The Spanish Mission style is unusual for Minnesota. There is interesting artwork on every floor (two floors and a basement). I was originally hesitant to go there because of the senseless war against Ukraine, but this establishment fully supports Ukraine. They even had some artwork from artists that experienced the war and were able to get away. It was worth the visit.
Man we went as a group of 4 and we had a blast we spent hours in here it has everything from mind-blowing illusions to interactive activities to do. The staff was awesome and it really seemed like they liked their jobs and were super helpful with taking pictures and making sure we got the best picture and experience. Its a great place to go for a date, or out doing something with friends, as well as take your kids.
I've wanted to go to this museum for many years and finally got the chance to go for a couple of hours. It was so worth the wait. Very much a hidden gem in Denver, this gallery blew me away. You can get up close and personal with the greatest artists of the American West, including my favorite: Albert Bierstadt. They provide a free audio guide that's pretty good and takes about an hour if you listen without pause. The first floor gallery is in Salon Style, which is unique and quite fitting. No pictures allowed, but you will hopefully be so engrossed you won't consider taking your phone out.
I went for Anna Tsoularakis and stayed for Tomashi Jackson. Loved this little museum! Just the right size to see it all. Cute roof deck. I really liked the teen art on the top floor too.
It is super affordable and not overly crowded. The garden is loaded with sculptures from both Umlauf but also visiting artists have work there as well. Plus I got engaged there so what's not to love!
What an absolutely beautiful museum in an unexpected location. The revamped Spanish style church houses a beautiful collection of Russian art, political posters, and church iconography.
The museum is free, but you can give a donation to the front desk at the main entrance. There is a clear box built into the reception desk lined with yen and yuan and there is a slot at the top where you can insert your donation. It's a beautiful place to visit.
Impressive collection of ancient/historical artifacts and art from around the world. You can easily spend between 45 minutes and 2 hours in the museum. Clean and comfortable environment to take it all in.
Great staff and awesome collection! Although the museum is fairly small, every room is interesting. No skips! Also I LOVED the bookstore. It may be tiny but I think I spent over an hour looking through all the books and found a lot I wanted to read plus a gift for a friend. It had a better world religion section than most major bookstores in my town. The girl working the bookstore was extremely helpful.
This museum was awesome. I had a blast looking at all the illusions. The staff was awesome. They helped with taking some of the pictures. One thing to remember is that it's on the second floor. You can either take the stairs up or the elevator. If you like and enjoy this place and agree with me. Leave a thumbs up.
A small, quiet and cool free museum of Asian art in the heart of Dallas. There's a lot of different pieces from pottery to tapestries and pot hangers, things you've never considered as art but are. I enjoyed all the Japanese tapestries and explanations provided.
An absolutely exquisite free museum with a collection from Japan with Meiji pottery and textiles when we visited. So divine and we saw so many pottery including kintsugi pieces.
Magical, brilliant, historical collection of some of the greatest works of western artists. Talent beyond measure has created a notable depiction of the evolution of the West. The house which contains these treasures is also amazing. Highly recommend.
An absolute gem of a place. Hundreds of great western paintings with an audio guide for $5.

I can hardly think of a better way to spend two hours.
Great introduction to western art; the guided tour is definitely the best and takes a little over 1 hour. Loved the delivery, the interaction of the guide and the overall appreciation gained.
The Dallas Museum of art was beautiful and awesome, It was a trip for family day at the Job and we had 5 kids ages 4-9. The only issues we had is there seemed to be employees in every room following close behind to make sure the kids didn't get to close or touch anything they even asked us to keep them 2 feet back while we watched adults standing so close the could lick the portrait.
So I'm just not sure how kid friendly they are maybe it was because we had 5 young kid's, I would return but with adults.

On the Spelman Campus. Never new. The American Black Portraits will be here until June 30th. It's a must see. I did see younger adults touching. There's no sign. PKEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE ART. It's peaceful and calming place. There's are benches. Just a couple. Nice place to and feel our history.
I really enjoyed visiting this museum today. The museum promotes cross-cultural understanding and appreciation for Asian art and heritage. Very unique ❤️06/23/2023
Excellent museum with indoor and outdoor exhibits. Well worth a trip and it's conveniently located across the street from the Dallas Art Museum. Rotating exhibits create a new experience with each visit. Slight admission fee.
Had a great time. Went with a friend, but it's a cute date spot and kiddos will love it. Not too big, so you won't feel overwhelmed, but enough to keep you there for a good two hours. Very cool exhibitions and neat stuff in the gift shop area on the way out. 100% recommended.
There are some great sculptures to take a look at and the grounds are great to walk around, but ultimately I give this only a 4 star review because there's not too much to see and some of the pieces or themes are a bit too repetitive.
What a wonderful and shall I say - Free museum to visit in the heart of museum district in Dallas. The parking isn’t free though and now costs $20. It is a bit high but you can park all day until 9pm and walk to other museums and locations nearby or grab food while you car stays cool in the covered park. The museum has a good collection, a little crowded though because, well it’s free. The Asian collection is bigger than I had expected and I love the sizeable addition of Indian and Islamic art. They had a mummy while I visited which is great to see. Set aside a couple hours to fully explore it all and you can always grab some food at the cafe if you feel hungry. The museum staff isn’t too overwhelming which is a good thing. Maybe avoid weekends and public holidays if you don’t want to deal with crowds.
Beautiful western art and a vast collection of high-quality art! The collection should receive 5 stars, but the staff should receive 3. Maybe we came on an off day that was rainy, but still no excuse! We stood in the rain waiting for the door to be unlocked an hour after the museum opened and was greated by a gruff woman and security guard. Then it continued to be a very stern, dismal environment until we had a helpful security guard on the 4th floor who told us how to use the audio tour and greated us with a smile! Maybe something happened right before we arrived, but that is no excuse. We traveled a long way to see this collection. The staff needs to work on it's people skills to make this collection more enjoyable!
Another gem of the area. This museum specializes in ancient artifacts from all over the world. Displays and facilities are first class from personal items and statues to Egyptian mummies. Nicely laid out and easy to follow. Size is great for a 2-4 hour visit depending on how much reading you do. Audio tours are available. Admission at around $8 is great. Parking is a short walk in the parking structure.
We love this museum especially the cafe and the outdoor seating. The current exhibit as I wrote this review is of Mark Di Suvero’s work which we love. I hope it never leaves!!

A very interesting place for walking, on the territory of the museum. in addition to being able to go to the museum, you can take a walk in the crooked parks on the university grounds.
Well worth visiting. Especially if you’re concerned about all about Ukraine. The only museum dedicated to Russian art in the US. Nice gift shop. Guided tours. It’s built in a former church
I’m completely confused as to how anyone could leave anything but a five star review for this museum. It is jam packed with stunning art that really captures the history and essence of the West. Admission is only $5!! I highly recommend all visitors and locals check this incredible museum out. If you like looking at art or reading about history, you should consider paying this place a visit. I loved it.
The Crow Museum in Dallas is an enchanting destination that offers an immersive experience into the rich tapestry of Asian art and culture. Nestled in the heart of the city, this gem of a museum captivates visitors with its diverse collection, engaging exhibits, and serene ambiance. Having recently visited, I found myself thoroughly impressed by the museum's offerings.

One of the most striking aspects of the Crow Museum is its collection of Asian art. Spanning centuries and encompassing a wide range of mediums, the pieces on display showcase the beauty, intricacy, and diversity of the continent's artistic traditions. From delicate porcelain and breathtaking calligraphy to vibrant paintings and awe-inspiring sculptures, every corner of the museum is adorned with treasures waiting to be discovered.
If you're a fan of Asian art or simply appreciate beauty and culture, the Crow Museum of Asian Art is an absolute must-visit. Its captivating collection, serene ambiance, educational value, and friendly staff make it a 5-star destination in my book. I'm grateful to have discovered this hidden gem, and I can't wait to go back for more enriching experiences.

Great location and Art.Couldnt purchase anything at the store. The bookstore was open couldn't you open the museum store
As a curator this museum is exactly what Atlanta need!
This is a fantastic little sculpture garden in Austin! It is a little small though, as you won’t spend more than 25 minutes here. The grounds were beautiful though, and I got free military admission which I appreciated!

Excellent experience. All the exhibits were wonderful. And best of all, it's free of cost. We did reserve tickets online in advance on the day of visit. There was no wait to enter. Water bottles need to be checked in. The entire museum is very clean and features exhibits from different parts of the world including Indonesia, India, Japan, Africa, Egypt. It's 4 floors and recommended to start on the 4th floor and then make your way down to the first floor. Budget around 2 hours minimum. The sculpture terrace provided good views of the city.
It’s nice to see how other cultures express their life experiences through art. The museum is very well kept in a beautiful building and staff is helpful and welcoming.
Peaceful sculpture garden. Works are generally biblical or based on Greek mythology. Admission is only $7 for adults. Stop by if you have half an hour to kill.

This small, yet beautiful museum is such a hidden gem ! Gorgeous pieces to look at and the garden outdoors is such a wonderful treat. You could probably spend a good 45 minutes here, but my suggestion, go to the Dallas Museum of Art afterwards! It is literally across the street !
Loved this museum! It was well spaced out and curated. I really like how they did the pull slides to show multiple artists’ work. They had a variety of things which was nice if you go with someone who likes different art.
Nice relaxing spot. Very well kept and a pretty setting to view the nice collection.
First time here and loved the vibe, so many artists I've never seen, great selection and friendly staff. Wasn't too crowded either! 10/10 would visit again.
I had the best time in this place. The staff are so kind and everyone was friendly. I learned a lot about different places and cultures. My favorite part was the Greek Sculptures. I felt like I traveled to Greece. Definitely would re-visit. I got a free pass from my library. That’s another thing the public library near you offers if you didn’t know. It’s family friendly. You will have to pay for packing here but it’s not expensive. Definitely worth it! And you will have to get a ticket for the after life experience. Amazing experience!
To have a beautiful gem like this right in the center of town is one of those things that reminds me why I love living in Austin for over 30 years. It’s serene and contemplative, from the lush green trees to of course the art, the running water, and the gorgeous pond. I really love it here.

Great art pieces!
First time here as we was visiting from out of state. To top it off it was free for the day. Lots of art and not your normal type of art. It was definitely unique and quite awesome.
@Spelman College. Current exhibition is up and down. Maybe too many pieces jammed in. Didn't care for the video. Nice to see some Master works among the modern work.

Got into the Met and Guggenheim for free, and I knew what gallery shows were in the area. Great day of art uptown.
Excellent museum! I enjoyed it very much. The Michael C. Carlos Museum has the largest ancient art collections in the Southeast, including objects from ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome, the Near East, Africa and the ancient Americas. The collections are housed in a Michael Graves designed building which is open to the public.
From the darkest depths of the fragile crust on which we eke out our existence the most beautiful objects have bloomed. To stumble upon such unexpected objects must be revolutionary for the mind, that nature can create such things cements it glory and makes you question its consciousness. Of course I’m talking of the crystal exhibit. Similar feelings are evoked by the intricate man mad objects on display.

Tranquility shattered by a hoard of school children, their weary educationalists appeared drained and drawn as they shepherded their pupils amongst the works. The sound was like the evening chatter of a tree full of Grackles, inane, non germane.
One hopes amongst the rabble a spark, however dim, may be lit. A fragment of reality absorbed in the absurd imaginary screen world occupied by our youth.
This hope, a point of reflection in the welcome silence as they vacated each space. The silence cherished even more by its own virtue.
This place is a rectangle of the world that deserves a moment of your life to visit.

I love art and Never have been to the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver. Just my luck They had an exhibit called The Dirty South which was wonderfully laid out throughout the museum. I can't wait to come back for more meaningful exhibits. An excellent space!
Wow!! What a place! And I went for the Dirty South exhibition, and it was incredible! The set up at this place is really amazing. They have multiple floors and spaces (including a basement, 4 floors & even a café with a rooftop space & a kids space upstairs!) it’s stunning. 2 unique things to check out: their a lending library and a borrow art program. Very unique!!

It's rare to find a membership useful both in the US and Europe, and then there's Cultivist. Great museum access across the US and abroad!
A great museum for a short visit! The museum itself is pretty small maybe plan for an 45 minutes to an hour, not crowded. It's a good place to learn about Russian history. The nesting dolls were my favorite, they are so adorable. The gift shop is great, everyone was super kind and helpful.

They charge $440 a year but with Poor custom service. The list of the museums is very limited, for example MOMA is not included. No response when you would like to cancel.

Lovely little hidden gem in the shadow of downtown Austin! I had no idea it existed, nor the story behind the man behind the place. Excellent for meditation, reading, relaxing, escaping the chaos for a bit. The curator and docents are all kind, knowledgeable and wow approachable. I'll be back, frequently! ♡
I've been dying to make a visit and it finally happened. Smaller than I imagined, but yet still everything I'd hoped for. Everyone enjoyed themselves and we were able to get around with stroller. Small collection on view as a new exhibit is being installed. They are also working on lawn, so you're asked to stay off grass. Loved the sculptures and how they're a spaced out so it give you space to move about without running into others. Definitely recommend you make a spot. We were there for an hour and street parked for free.
This museum was a lovely surprise. I really enjoyed the diversity of the art displayed. The contemporary sections welcoming political work, makes this Museum a relevant place to visit in this historic time of global conflict. The bathrooms were clean and accessible, the gift shop super cute, and staff pleasant. They were participating in a national free Museum day. I saw more folks of color than I had expected to run into. I don’t know if I would have given it a try had it not been for that opportunity. I would come back and pay.
A very nice little museum on the south side of Minneapolis. There are several great pieces of art to observe. The building is a beautiful old church that is clean and has been kept up very well. The view from the balcony is lovely. There is a neat giftshop with fun and different items to purchase. The museum is very handicap friendly with lifts, ramps, and an elevator. Students, military, and seniors also get reduced price admission.
This was our first time going to Carlos Museum. This was the last day (8/21/2022) for the “Free Admission” special they were having. It’s a place the family will enjoy! It’s so clean in there, with a lot of interesting things to look at/read about. My husband already said he’s going to tell his friends about it. You gotta go take pictures of the ancient Egyptian mummies.
And by the way; parking is FREE on the weekends in the Fishburne Deck and Oxford Road Visitor’s Deck.

Wow what an absolutely cool and interesting museum to visit! At first, me and my aunt came in on the wrong floor and there was no staff or anything lol so we thought that it was just a quick little in and out tour but eventually ended up in the right spot and we’re glad we did! This was the best $8 I’ve spent this year! The museum was way bigger than I had imagined and the variety of sculptures and artifacts varied from Asian, African, Mesoamerican, etc. It was a very cool spur of the moment trip. The only quarrel we had which was quite an odd one, was that it was really weird that there was an unbelievable hike of stairs up to the African American history area. Everything else had an elevator and walk up so that was really off. The African American art gallery was also sadly really small. I see that they’re adding some things on but gotta do better because that doesn’t look good. Overall, the museum is a solid 10/10 😍
Every time I come back to Austin, I try one new place to visit. I checked out the Umlauf Sculpture Garden! Tickets are only $7/person, which makes sense as the garden is rather smaller than I anticipated. I would say you will finish exploring the garden in about 40 minutes. But I still enjoyed it. I came on a Friday morning when they opened. The staff was nice and you get a sculpture guide so you can read more about each sculpture created by Charles Umlauf. When you're done, return the guide. I will say that there's very limited parking so if this garden is on your list, I recommend coming as soon as they open to get a parking spot close to the entrance, otherwise there's overflow parking down the street.
My student discount got me in for free. I had a lovely experience in that Courtyard and the indoor exhibit. There were many sculptures and the general area was well kept. No trash anywhere, the bathrooms were also clean. It was a very classy atmosphere with with all the patrons getting along quietly. The staff was friendly. As an added bonus, I spotted some ducks also enjoying the facilities!
Jam packed with incredible paintings! There is no photography allowed inside. Admission fee was very affordable, and an absolute steal for a chance to see this talent :)

I was not able to enter because they were closed. From what I can see on the outside they were interesting hustory. Maybe next time I can get in when I return to Colorado.
Thanks to the Anschutz family for making such a magnificent collection available for public viewing. In addition to their value as fine art, the paintings—mostly oils—have historic importance as depictions of life in the West prior to photographs or when photography was still in its infancy. Just a couple of drawbacks: The building, though charming, is too small for the collection, so that the paintings are crammed literally from floor-to-ceiling. This makes it hard to get a good view of paintings that are too high or too low. Moreover, the lighting relies mostly on traditional spotlights that create shiny bright spots on some of the works, especially those near the ceiling. Nevertheless, a memorable and worthwhile experience!

The Mizel Museum is small in size but big in impact. The displays are beautifully arranged with good explanation of what you are seeing. There is a general area and an area of the history of Jews in Colorado and a room with the news relating to WWII. In March there will be a display of pictures of Holocaust survivors. Informative, interesting and beautifully done.
