There are no words to express how gorgeous it is here, at sunrise, before most people arrive. It is a downright soul-bending spiritual experience. I highly recommend a visit, even life-long Floridians find this beach noteworthy. Love! Love! Love!!!!

Plenty of parking (with app to pay and extend time if necessary), easy beach access, hiking trail along beach.
Nice pier and it’s newly re-constructed. But pay to walk ! Is a little much in my opinion. I know it’s only $2 or $1pp for residents but the walking should be free. Still a nice pier on a great beach. If your looking for fishing I’ve seen and caught great finds.
Great Place to Spend the Day.

Great place to enjoy the morning or Afternoon fishing or just watching fisherman do their work!

Beautiful scenario of Deerfield Beach.
Locals have to Pay 1,00 USD to enter.
Tourists have to Pay 2,00 USD to enter. You can get a wristband to have multiple entries during the same day.

The daily pass to Fish cost 4,00 USD.

There are Benches to rest and Sinks to clean the fishes.

Cute tourist spot to check out. The fair has some tall rides to get a good view $$. Huge beach! Lots of space to swim but not many ppl were swimming. Parking was $$$. Sadly, we came across quite a few struggling ppl and some in really bad shape. I guess you'll find that anywhere but it changed how I felt safety wise... in the middle of the day on a Monday.

Amazing experience! This place has almost everything you could think of here! Very fun, kid-friendly, family events. A little pricey, but worth the experience for sure! Arcade games are available, roller coasters, carnival games, gift shops, great sit-down restaurants and so much more! I recommend riding the Faris wheel at night, such a beautiful experience to see all the city lights while you're up in the air, along with the ocean at night! You can get some great pictures while riding! Except to stay a minimum of 2 hours to get the full experience here. The place is pretty crowded, but not much of a wait at all for any rides or food, The service was great.

Such a nice place to visit with friends/family or just walk around alone! Got to see sea lions and the locks on the fence was super cool! Definitely gets a bit chilly tho. So pretty!
The sound of the waves will make you crazy! This beach is one in a hundred and too crowded during summer. Luckily we got there on a windy and cloudy weather day so it was kind of an empty place but the water waves were roaring and felt intriguing. Nice place for adult couples to spend a weekend in Long Island.

We visited this area twice. Grabbed a great dinner and lunch. The views from some of the restaurants are really cool looking at the pier. The sea lions were a lot of fun to watch. Very clean and safe place.

It’s one of the place must visit on your trip to LA . It’s about 30 min or so from Lax . It could be busy some time due to traffic and parking . Recommended parking near the downtown malls and not actual beach so you can cover both . Idea is if you don’t care about the malls then just park of beach and save on hour or two of the trip.

Now coming back to pier it’s a historic place almost more than 100 years old (1909 original ) what make it unique among other piers is length is 1/2 and width of 90 -100 meter at some location - which was done to add amusement park. I do not recall other pair having formal amusement park in US.

There are lot of food and other vendors on and off pier which add to shopping experience and entertainment for lot of folks . There are few bars as well .
It’s always busy here and lot of tourists.

I strongly recommend going early. We got there around 9 am, and it was not busy. We were able to enjoy the pier apposed to a few hours later when there were mass crowds of people flooding the pier. Plan your timing!
The best venue I've been to a show hands down. We were fortunate enough to have absolute perfect weather (clear skies and mid 60s) for our show (Offspring, Sum 41 and Simple Plan). Being outside right on the water with no walls for sound to dch off makes it incredible. Getting in and out was a absolute breeze considering it was a nearly sold out show. Definitely recommend paying for $80 upgraded Premier parking to get out ASAP.
This venue is decent. There is a ton of space, enough restrooms to where I never had an issue getting in, and it does stay cool in the summer time, being in the water. I’ve been up in the bleachers as well as in the pit, and the views are great.

This venue does have an issue with the sound. Every time I’ve attended (most recently for Goo Goo dolls and Offspring) the vocals are extremely hard to hear during the performance. Vocals are ok when just talking or during some acoustic sets, but there seems to be an issue with sound equalizing/sound check. It is one of the most frustrating experiences to pay to see a performance and then not be able to hear the lead singer.

Overall, it’s ok if it’s your last resort.

Fun place to go. The fishing license is covered in admittance on the pier. They do offer fishing equipment if you don't have your own. One downside is that there's not much shade to keep you out of the sun.

On August 30th, my friends and I embarked on a captivating journey to Jones Beach with the intention of witnessing the enchanting blue moon. The night held an added layer of excitement as the iconic Smashing Pumpkins took the stage at the Jones Beach Theater, drawing a diverse crowd of music enthusiasts. Despite the memorable evening, there was a noticeable absence of readily available refreshments and bites on Parking Lot 6 and the boardwalk, leaving a minor gap in an otherwise exceptional experience. Taking into account the captivating lunar display, the mesmerizing music in the distance, and the enthusiastic crowd of band fans and skywatchers, I’d rate this outing a solid 4 out of 5.

Pier 39 in San Francisco is an exhilarating blend of entertainment, dining, and scenic views. The lively atmosphere, filled with the chatter of visitors and the playful barking of sea lions, embodies the city's vibrant spirit. A plethora of shops offer unique souvenirs, while various eateries serve delicious seafood, especially the famed clam chowder in a sourdough bowl. The carousel and street performers add a touch of whimsy. With views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge on the horizon, Pier 39 is more than just a tourist spot; it's a delightful sensory experience that captures the essence of SF.

Pier 39 is a vibrant hotspot that embodies the spirit of San Francisco's waterfront. With its eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, and entertainment, it's a place that offers something for everyone. The energetic sea lion colony is a delightful sight and adds to the unique atmosphere. The views of the bay, Alcatraz, and the Golden Gate Bridge are spectacular. While it can get busy, the lively ambiance and variety of activities make it worth a visit. Whether you're shopping, dining, or simply enjoying the scenery, Pier 39 captures the essence of this iconic city by the bay.
It's absolutely beautiful at this pier. Good fishing also we saw a gentleman catching decent size fish and a good amount.
Great place to either hang out on the pier, do a little fishing or enjoy the many restaurants in the area.

While Pier 39 is a capitalist fever dream that felt a lot like Disney World, I can honestly say that I enjoyed it immensely. The views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz at sunset were surreal. The vibes were cheerful and wholesome. The sea lions were utterly charming. I spent hours here and the time flew by. Definitely a touristy spot, but I’d say it’s a worth a visit.
Jones Beach State Park is a great place to visit, not far from New York City. One of the best beaches within a short distance from Queens. It’s especially fun to bring my son as they have a really nice playground and great facilities and amenities such as cafes and restaurants and beach shops.

Great place to go fishing. People fishing are also super nice. If you care about anything in your car take it with you. If you care about your car park it where it will be monitored, which can be far. Although this area doesn’t have that many break ins based off my experiences. For the fisherman- strip bass, halibut, stingray and more often leopard sharks. Good fishing
The best and most beautiful pier in ALL of South Florida! I’m serious. Pompano beach is now a gorgeous place to be. Perfect for an evening walk. So peaceful and relaxing at night. It wasn’t like this when I was a kid growing up here!

Fog Harbour was a surprising treat!!!
You can't tell from the outside, but once you're inside, the restaurant looks and smells amazing!!! The friendly and helpful staff mixed with the fabulous atmosphere and great views (when there's no fog) makes this a great go to place to eat.

We had the Fish & Chips, the Crab and Steak & Fries. The appetizer was a cup of Clam Chowder and it was over the top savory and delicious!!! All our dishes were fantastic!!!

I strongly recommend pay the Fog Harbour a visit.
The Pompano Beach Pier is a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy the serene beauty of the water, especially during the evening. The gentle sound of the waves, the soft sea breeze, and the breathtaking sunset create an ambiance that's perfect for relaxation. Whether you're strolling along the pier, sitting on a bench, or simply gazing out over the water, the tranquil atmosphere provides a sense of calm that's hard to find elsewhere. With its stunning views and soothing surroundings, the Pompano Beach Pier truly is a wonderful destination to unwind and watch the world go by.
I've been to a fair share of beaches from New York to Florida, but this was by far the largest beach to date.

Plenty of sand to pitch your parasol and set up camp for the day. Clean, until the end of the day when beachgoers leave their trash behind. Shame on those fools.

Live entertainment, places to eat, and the ocean view is endless.

Seemed to be enough parking, but be prepared to walk a couple hundred yards to get to the beach and boardwalk.

Sea lions. Restaurants. Overpriced sea food :/

Personally i recommend eating at Chowders. Their food is great, its not too expensive and the portions are just enough. I love the view at the end of the pier. Its beautiful. If you arent hungry, check out the sea lions and the amazing view of the oceans. You wont regret it.

Beautiful beach pier on the west coast! Easily top 3 things to see in Los Angeles. Very lively with action at every step. The pier rides are a must do especially at sunset. There’s nothing like the pacific coast. Gift shop merchandise is cute too. If I lived here this would definitely be a date night spot. Fun place for couples and family!

It’s a cool and iconic place to walk around. It’s one of those “been there, done that” places though - I wouldn’t intentionally return. But the one visit I did have was fun and the views of the ocean and beach, stunning. Loved the little store at the end of the pier marking the end of Route 66 with some cool souvenirs. Vendors around sell food cart eats and souvenirs as well.

Worth checking out at least once!

Beautiful pier!

This is my fourth time being there
The scenery is breathtaking, I happen to see a sting ray when I was there so that was exciting. It's a wonderful place to take a stroll after eating from nearby restaurants or just to take pictures, also, if you want to fish, it's the right place to do so. Amazing location too, right next to shopping centers and ofcourse amazing restaurants.
A very clean beach, ideal for relaxing because there is no music noise other than the waves of the sea. There is ample parking and several restrooms. You also find food in case you don't come prepared. They also sell ice cream carts and security, there are many lifeguards for any mishap. There are several spaces that you can enter throughout the island, they are listed and each one with its respective parking lot.

Beautiful place to think and meditation, about life.
Santa Monica Pier is fantastic place to visit both for tourists and locals. I'm sure locals don't come here on a busy weekend evening but our friends who live in Malibu come here quite a bit when its not crowded. It really is a fun and historic place... from being the last stop on Iconic Route 66 to the food shops available, street food, street performers and fantastic sunsets, this pier is huge with tons of life and activities.. You can easily spend 4 hours here so plan accordingly. The parking can be tricky as the weekends are very very busy but there are many underground nearby parking lots and if you don't mind taking a walk there is lots of parking deeper into Santa Monica away from the beach. The pier is just lots of fun and easily top destination when visiting Southern California. Also, the cost of trinkets and souvenirs is not that high since there is a lot of competition. Overall people are very friendly and patient.. everyone is here to enjoy themselves and eventually wait for the beautiful sunset.. so plan to get your spot on the pier to record an amazing California sunset.
Great place to fish or to just sit and people watch. The pier is free to enter, unlike most i have encountered. It is located in a well-known area with plenty of food and shops nearby. Parking is easy and plentiful. You can download a parking app (paybyphone) and pay that way zone 100954.
This was an awesome celebration. Our family went to this beach to do a floral ritual in behalf of our sister. We threw flowers into the ocean and released balloons. This was amazing 👏!

Embarking on our adventure to Dania Beach Pier, we hoped for a bird's-eye view of the canal, ocean, and Hollywood. But beware, friends! Admission isn't free, even for kids, and the price differs if you're there to fish or just observe.

The pier is no sprawling vista; ongoing renovations have shrunk it further. Beyond a pair of binoculars and a smattering of fisherfolk, there's little to see.

Our visit lasted a scant 15 minutes. For now, let this sleeping dog lie. The pier promises more than it delivers, but who knows? It might yet rise like a phoenix from the ashes.

I’ve always loved this place. I can’t wait for it to open in the Spring and hate it when it closes in the fall. I’ve always given it 5 stars. Yet, lately, they are different. The morning menu, lack of pastries, lame excuses, sometimes unfriendly service and sometimes burnt coffee has forced me to go to a nearby venue. I hope this is temporary. It would be a shame to miss out on the fabulous atmosphere.
This is my favorite pier, it's much quieter than the one in Pompano. Unfortunately the last hurricane damaged the final part of the pier. Here I go fishing often
A really nice place to have a walk, watch the fishers or just gaze at the wonderful view. Very well-maintained pier with cute piece of arts on both sides, and huge blue canopies. The beach close by is nice abd clean, and the many restaurants in the area were all packed.A kids play area and an outdoor gym were close by.A well-designed parking building is across the street. Its the perfect place for a family to spend the day !!

Great spot to take a stroll even if you don’t fish. Fishermen are friendly and answered questions from us non-fishermen! $2 + tax pp for just visiting and $3 + tax if fishing - quite reasonable. Parking via the App is simple to use and only $3/hour + tax. Helpful employees!
Incontournable
Went here for a day of bait fishing with friends. We got lucky and had a beautiful day ahead of us, with barely any clouds after sunrise. The water was so blue and clear, we were able to see all the fish swimming around. We even saw a ray, 3 sea turtles, and a few barracudas. We also caught a bunch of bait as well with the squid we bought from the receptionist!

There were also a lot of boats near us, but security was on top of it. The other fishermen near us were kind and respectful.

The only con is that parking near the dock is way too little. We arrived at 5:30am, 30min before the dock opened, but it started to fill up around 6:00am. Be warned, otherwise you pay for parking at the garage.

Pros:
Great place, especially at night seeing Hollywood all lit up. You get to see tons and tons of people fishing, and it’s cool to watch them reel in some big catches.

Neutral:
Kind of neutral, neither pro or con. This is more of something I noticed and it was worth mentioning; I noticed the security guard had a firearm on his hip. It costs $2 to get onto the pier just to watch and walk it, and it costs $6 to fish off the pier.

Cons:
The only con I experienced was the amount of dead bait fishers are leaving on the ground. There was little fish, small squid, and others. I stepped on one at night, not knowing until the smell hit my room the next morning. I may not have noticed it, but there should be some sort of sign up to throw them back into the water. That could help!

It has entry fees to go on pier. Paid parking is available. Walk on pier is beautiful specially around sunset time. Plenty of fishermen on it. There is restaurant too. Good spot to spend some quality time.

Great place to walk around and enjoy
Deerfield Beach has a beautiful fishing pier. For a very reasonable cost, you can walk all the way out to the end and get a great view of the beach. It's also fascinating to converse briefly with the fisherman who congregate here. It's a special place to watch the sunrise!
Nice spot, greets scenery, similar stuff comparing to NYC piers
One of my absolute favorite beaches and piers in all of South Florida. Very inexpensive to go fishing at the pier or just sightseeing. The beach is never too packed (unless it’s a holiday). Plenty of parking nearby and restaurants to grab a quick bite. Definitely recommend over the other “touristy” spots like Ft. Lauderdale or South Beach.
Multiple beach access, concert stadium, easy to get around. Area to be experienced and loved. We went to the coast guard area and there was plenty of garbage. We cleaned up the beach a bit. You would think the coast guard would help and clean up their area. Do your part and help Mother nature

The Hornblower cruse has been picking up since September of 2021. It has more and more Hispanic party events at night (mostly over the weekend, some even has life band). More school graduation parties( high school, college, etc). I think they are going to set up regular brunch cruises.
I had few *hook up* for different event night cruises. The boat went underneath the Golden Gate Bridge, pass by Alcatraz, and went through the Bay Bridge. It was spatacula scenery with and without the foggy nights.
Went fishing a few weeks ago, looks like it was remodeled and the floating pool the kids enjoyed a lot. Family friendly
I came across with this lovely place, I live 5 minutes away and I didn't know this place existed, love to come and have some time for myself, what can I say it is a perfect spot for family gatherings as well, but mostly during the summer fishing is one of the coolest spots... so far everything seems very nice.. one thing I don't like is about people setting up their BBQ on the sidewalk, 🤔 come on the park its big enough for a bunch of people...
Great place to be!

Crowded during the day, but absolutely empty after 8PM.

In winter, when the Bay Bridge is lit up for the SF illuminations, this is a great spot to come to for some night photos. It's quiet and you pretty much have the whole space to yourself, outside of some sparsely positioned fishermen.

One thing to note though, the lamps seem to be malfunctioning at times, so rather than a picturesque pier out of some campy romance film, it feels more like a scene out of Stranger Things where you're entering the Upside Down.

I don't know what they have in plane? But all but 1 bench that's falling apart. But I don't think that's a big thing? Most that come here if not walking or biking by, are fishing. On this side there's nothing close as far as store's or quick food. Its a few blocks in any directions to get to any store.

The pier goes well out into the water and there are many chairs near the shores part of the pier... Also there are chairs and benches all around the pier as well as all the chairs over at the Pier 1 Cafe. People meet on the pier while I was there there was a group of urban Skechers and some dancers who were doing some practicing. A bottle of water was $2 at the Pier 1 Cafe - - pretty reasonable for New York City! There are also some decaying remains of the old industrial activity near the pier that are pretty interesting for photography.

Visited after several years away. It's still cheesy and touristy, but a lot of the stores have been updated so the whole area feels a bit more upscale now. And no matter what, the views on a sunny day can't be beat.
I've never gone fishing here so I don't have any experience with the bait shop. This parking area allows access to the seal observation area. It's a good walk down the beach, but worth it to see the seals. If anyone is looking to do a beach clean up project this spot needs it. I cleaned a full hefty bag and barely made a dent.

I've visited this pier many times, whether running, on my bicycle or my favorite mode of transportation: by paddle board. It is an interesting space and one much loved, especially by locals in the hi-rises above. There is also no shortage of events held there. Just this past weekend my dog and I happened upon the MamaPaLooza concert (see photos). I highly recommend. And any new visitor should really take a look at the railroad gantry, the freight locomotive and the carved stones identifying the many rail lines that served Manhattan, coming in on the float barges that utilized the gantry.

Class trip today. I've lived in the HP area for almost 5 years but have never visited this park. Can I say I was pleasantly surprised. For the location it was really clean. Aesthetically? Wow! What a stunning park. Equipped with playgrounds and bathrooms. Bathrooms? Clean! Only complaint is the trash cans were overflowing with garbage but I'm guessing it was due to the high volume of class trips to the park. All in all..a great asset to our neighborhood.

Kayak launch area at field 10 is ok. Close to good fluke fishing spots. Plenty of wildlife nearby. Beware of boat traffic though.

We took the Hornblower out of pier 3 for their 2018 Christmas Day Dinner Cruise. It was so much fun! I highly recommend it if you are looking for a Different way to celebrate the day. It was an all you can eat Buffett with a cash bar. The food was Great. And they had live music to dine and dance to.
We had all adults in our party of 10, but I did see children on the cruise too. There honestly is nothing for them to do on there though.
The cruise around Alcatraz and the bay and sunset on the Golden Gate bridge was breath taking.
And the decor was festive but not overkill if you don't celebrate the holidays.
We did this instead of giving gifts this year and honestly, I take the memories over a store brought gift any day.
It's a nice part of the park. Good fishing and great sunsets. Also sometimes porpoises will swim by. It's not a place to spend the whole day buts nice to go for an hour in the late afternoon and take a relaxing walk.
