Very nice. Just finishing up renovation of course. Greens were great. One did have some new grass patches but otherwise they were all in good shape. Very pleasant staff.

Definitely not worth the $120 green fee @ 2:30pm Tuesday. Never saw a cart for drinks, even after calling the proshop on the turn. Course is not worth that fee even for a weekend prime time. Course is a worst then municipal courses.
Challenging course, friendly staff, greens were super! Can't wait to play again!
Hadn't been back there since our Thursday Sr League made a change 3 years ago. Was pleasantly surprised on how well maintained it was. Greens were in great shape as well as the fairways. Will definitely continue to patronize Dahlgreen in the future.
I went out to Blackhorse for the first time on Sunday for my sons golf tournament and all I can say is this golf course is beautiful!! Will definitely be coming back.
Booked a Hot Deal through Golf Now for $26, cart included. The course is in decent shape. Fairways are wide enough that you should be able to hit them. I did for the most part. The greens are small and slow.

The two folks in the clubhouse were great. I let them know I was visiting and had never played there before. The guy behind the counter was very accommodating and offered the chance to hit some at the range or to tee off early. I opted to just start playing. The Starter was very nice and got me going in the right direction.

It wasn't busy at all and I got through the round in about 2 and a half hours.
Great layout. Terrible greens. Greens run about 3 on the stimp meter.

Out of the way but a great course. It is moderately difficult but worthwhile. I definitely recommend especially if you need to improve your game (like me).
My group and I showed up right on time for our scheduled tee time and we were turned away for being late. The staff was rude and we were treated like a huge inconvenience to them. I’d happily drive to any other course 30-40 minutes outside of the cities than return back to this frankly sub-par course.
Consistently great course conditions and greens. Some of the best staff and overall a great country club atmosphere in a growing community. Escape the inner city and come experience a great track.

This public golf course in the Cypress, TX area is pretty great. The screen on the golf cart is a little much, with all its extra features, but sometimes it’s nice when there’s time. The holes are pretty easy to follow even without a map, but you can scroll easily to the map quickly on the golf cart screen. Indoor other things as desired when you get chance is in between holes. They have a gas cart or two who drive around providing extra drinks, and snacks if you forget anything.
Staff has been consistently friendly and helpful. Driving range gets a lot of use and is maintained well. I wouldn’t mind seeing more targets out there though. The course was kept relatively slow over the summer, as it should have been, because now the turf looks healthier than ever, and the greens are speeding up again. The layout itself can be challenging, as there are some unique holes out there.

Great spot, especially for the prices. Check out their membership options if you’re close to the area.

What a beautiful course and great host of the 3M Open!
Horrible experience, Steve is extremely rude and disrespectful. We kept pace throughout the front 9 and he decided to drive out to us and harass us because we were playing to slow. Finished the 9th hole and went inside to grab food and he followed us inside and started raising his voice while talking to the bartender saying how we’re not playing fast enough. Told me to not buy any drinks or food and just keep playing on. You think you’re going to have a nice day and enjoy some golf but then the douche bag owner comes out and ruins your day. Spend your money elsewhere folks. Check out other reviews prior to this. Same issue. He’s the issue.

Great course and Ashlyn is the best beverage cart lady! I am usually generous and would leave a better review but the owner Steve harassed our group for not going fast enough for his standards. Don’t make a tee time available if you have a tournament 10 minutes behind it, dbag.
The most gorgeous mini golf course you’ll see here!!! Definitely come so you can see the sunset. Also, food at the restaurant is lovely! Some great cocktails!
One of the best golf course in the area. There are two courses, Coal Creek and China Creek, both of them are great but Coal Creek is the best. Quite challenging but fair. Beautiful designed with many dramatic drops and spectacular views.
Just GO, this is one of the best gems in the area. I'll start this review with a huge, gigantic, galactic thank you to the most excellent staff, from the pro shop to the first tee box. The first tee box Marshall is the absolute best there is, I'll do you the favor of making all of there acquaintances for yourself. Played on Sunday, and they greens and fairways were rolling nicely. Take the trip you'll be glad you did, rAhOUt

It was a blast at the 3M open. The greens were impeccable and Tony Finau was a joy after the tournament. He stayed a signed autographs. It was an awesome experience yesterday. I am already planning on attending next year

Disclosure (Only attended 3M Tournament)

The course looked immaculate. Lots of undulating fairways and greens. The entire course was perfect.
It was very nice, food and service were excellent. The view adds to the experience. Pictured are fish& chips grilled chicken cobb salad and turkey bacon and avocado club sandwich.
Great course to learn the game. Not real hard but great to try things out and 0ace was excellent
Love Mystic Dunes, been coming here for 23 years on and off.
Apartments are well equipped, spacious. When there are lots of you you could do with more glasses etc than the number the apartment holds.
Cleaning has been cut down to half way through your stay and I didn’t think it thorough. No real cleaning stuff to enable you to tidy up better.
Useless brooms, they need to swap to rubber brooms for carpet and hard floor, so much better.
Txt system good to contact reception.
Kenzies bar always nice.
Gorgeous views of both Bellevue and Seattle! Brunch is really good, and the golf course is beautiful. It's a tough course but worth it!
Decent track that offers a variety of lies and shotmaking. Very reasonable prices and a good staff working hard on improvements. One of my favorites for the area, great value and scenic.

Greens are very true, and the course is very well maintained. I know as I worked at a course for 8 years.

Would be nice if they had a couple of water stations out there. Played the other day, and it was 91. I don't believe in bottled water. Just sayin'.
We had the most wonderful experience golfing here. Your course was great, and the people in the clubhouse were amazing! Even the other golfers on the course were so kind and helpful. Next time we're down for vacation we will come back and play another round!
The course was in good shape despite the lack of rain. Front desk person was friendly & efficient. However , it was 90° and there was no water at any of the tee boxes. Fortunately we brought water.
Played North Course. In good condition. Starter very informative. Learned they always have to holes cart path only to improve overall conditions.

Greens rolled very well. On North Course front 9 is very tough compared to back 9. Worth playing a different tee box on front vs back.

In general very pleased with the experience.
Beautiful bird eye views of downtown Seattle and Bellevue plus Lake Washington and two bridges. In the morning with beautiful sunrise and evening beautiful sunset. Very friendly staff and tasty food.

Not happy with the 3% credit card transaction fee passed onto the player. This business should know it’s the cost of doing business! For $100+ we won’t be coming back here even if they paid me, plenty of other public courses in Houston that offer the same amenities and better service.

Staff is friendly. Fairways well maintained. Greens are VERY fast and firm. But WOW the somewhat narrow fairways and numerous trees gobbled me up! I played this course 4 years ago and had the same experience but thought I'd try it again. I haven't shot in the hundreds those 4 years, but it happened again. Great course for short hitters and those with better skills than me. I typically shoot in the high 70s and low to mid 80s but this course ain't for me. Sorry.
Wonderful course for the price. Fairways are decent, greens are good. Tboxes could use some leveling. I kinda wanna get a membership.
Fun course great value and people.
We’ve avoided playing this course because of mixed reviews. Here’s the deal-the entrance and pro shop are beautiful, the greens are horrible. The fairways and tee boxes have their areas of horrible as well, and it’s very hard. The course layout is nice and the course has potential (with a lot of $$ spent) and probably was great at one time. The story is, Hilton has bought the resort and intends to put a lot of money into the course. I’ll believe the story when it happens. My fear is, it’s the story to keep people playing at a pretty hefty $ and deal with the complaints. Some employees even warn you before you start. We planned on counting 2 putts a green and that kept down the frustration. I’d say hole 9 was the only nice green and since it was a back 9 start, we ended on the nice green. It was a beautiful day, and pace of play was very good, but there are courses in much better shape. I truly hope Hilton invests and we can try this course again in a few years.
This place is charging way too much money for golf given the sad state of the conditions. Greens with big gouges and patches of missing grass, and overgrown by some sort of weed preventing proper putting… fairways all burned out and tired in a lot of spots. There should be significantly discounted rates until they bring the course back up to caliber.

That said, all the people (including other guests) were friendly, and we made the best of it. An especially big shout out to Ted - the starter - for a great chat before the round and making us feel super welcome and relaxed. That was a great note to start on.

The Golf club at Newcastle, The Calcutta Grill a must-visit dining destination for those who appreciate a breathtaking view while enjoying their meal. Located in the stunning Newcastle Golf Course, this restaurant boasts a mesmerizing view of the surrounding hills and greens that will leave you in awe.

I'm 55 years old and have never taken a lesson. Definitely should have done this years ago. David was very knowledgeable and showed me exactly what I need to work on to improve my game.
Nice greens and the staff is very friendly.
2 beautiful 18 hole courses the North and the South. The North is a little more forgiving than the South but both will challenge every part of your game! The off course amenities are first class and Ropers Grill …..well I’ll go there to eat even when I’m not playing. Add to that a friendly and knowledgeable Staff and what’s not to like!
Played here 11/12/21.
Nice carts with GPS.
Beautiful clubhouse.
Good pace of play at 4 1/2 hours.
Beautiful par 3 holes with water features.
Fairways and greens were average at best and spotty in some areas.
Overall a very good experience and probably play again in the future when back in Orlando.
Gorgeous golf course and venue nestled up the hill in peaceful Newcastle! Needless to say, I was smitten by the romantic ambiance, magical sunset, and tasty dinner menu. Can I rate this place more than 5 stars? ...because I 100% would!!! Wonderful spot with a killer view! Golf, business meeting, date night, party, wedding, this place is perfect for any occasion.
Upon first arriving, the front entrance is very unwelcoming. Overgrown and weedy, cigarette butts laying around, and very dark. The two teenagers at the front desk seemed to hate life. All the lights were off in the building so it was very dark. We asked if the bar was open because it also looked closed and dark. To our surprise, it was open and a nice young lady helped us out once she came out of the shadows. Course was plain, straight and narrow, carts were old. Many of the tee boxes were not in use so we had to tee off from other places on the fairway. Tee boxes that we were not allowed to use seemed like they were in good condition. It was only the two of us for our tee time which was nice and probably speaks to the expectation of this course. Overall the customer service was incredibly worse than any other course in the area. For a golf course, you'd expect so much better.
We chose this golf course because it was advertised as a family friendly course. We had just arrived for our tee time and before my husband could even drive off the first hole... the owner was on our case and being extremely rude. She targeted our son and said he belonged on the driving range. Instead of encouraging families, minorities, and a young girl to learn the game of golf she ostracized and racially targeted our family. We paid just like everyone else but she was so disrespectful and rude to our family so DON'T SUPPORT this racist judgmental business!!
The course is in great shape and the prices are lower than most other courses around

Great value course! I play this course just about every other week. I like the variation in holes. The par 5s can be reachable. The par 3s are not too long. I think the best part though is the condition and speed of the greens. For a public golf course, it has very well kept greens.

The experience was 2nd to none. From the moment you are on the property, you are greeted and taken care of by the clubhouse staff. I thought that was such a great touch to the experience.

The clubhouse is incredible. Especially the selection of items from clothing to souvenirs. They have EVERYTHING. The food in the restaurant is upstairs and is delicious. I’ve eaten there a few times now and both times thought the food was fantastic.

Course conditions. I mean, need I say more? Immaculate. Pristine. Fresh. Crisp. Clean. I think you get it. Range and short game area was so fun to use. They have a shack at the turn was good and tons of cold drinks, fill up your waters etc. it was nice having it right there so you didn’t have to go back to the clubhouse.

Overall 10/10 would recommend playing if you get the opportunity to play. Future member no questions.
I love this course. The staff is always nice and pleasant, the property is well maintained and the course isn't too tough...if you keep it in the fair way. Some of my favorite greens in the metro! My only gripe is when I played there yesterday, the course was firmer than the blacktop driveway. I'm not sure if the irrigation is out of commission or what, but it made AZ courses look soft. I wont dock a star though because there may be other issues that we don't know about. Overall, just book a tee time and enjoy this awesome track, you wont be disappointed!
Nice golf course but not one palm tree for Florida
Great first day of instruction. Second day was 90 mins of the 4 hours of hitting balls on the range without the instructor. The teacher was very good while he was instructing. Facilities are excellent.
This was a really nice course that was challenging and well designed. The resort itself seemed very nice as was the clubhouse and restaurant. The staff was very polite and attentive and the folks on the course were helpful as well. We did see a gator on the bank of the first hole, so that was really cool too. I enjoyed the experience overall and would definitely come back.
The cart was in good condition. The practice facilities were nice. Then there was the course. The good, it has a wonderful layout. A lot of undulation in the fairways and greens. Elevation like l rarely see in Florida. And most of the greens are in good shape, and putt medium to fast. The bad, there seems to be 10 different grasses you see in the tee boxes, fairways and even the greens. Many parts of the tee boxes and fairways were patchy and choppy (as pictured). And the waste areas have tractor tire tracks in them. And it’s 92° and humid, and there was no cart girl. And the soda machine was out of Gatorade, and there was no water. It’s actually a shame. This course has so much potential, but it requires better upkeep. I paid about $48 on a “hot deal”. It’s probably only worth about $35-$45. But l have to say that l would play it again, if only for the layout.
Have played this course a couple times this year. Love it! The course is reasonably maintained, and the greens are perfect and fast. There are plenty of trees to deal with, but they do a really nice job mowing under them, so you probably won't lose your golf ball. To score well, you'll need to hit the ball fairly long and straight. If you can do well here, you can do well anywhere. Club house staff are friendly and helpful.
I've had 1 on 1 training. It has been great. Work on the range, gone inside to get video for training and then more work on the putting greens. The 4 hours this morning went quickly. Then I had a nice time playing 9 holes this afternoon. I love it.
This is only for the golf course.. Played with my buddy there recently... it is very nicely maintained. It does not have par 5 holes, but greens are very nice. Fairway is wide open, so you don't have to worry about losing your balls :-) Also, nicely blended scences of buildings, waters, and plants.

This is one of the nicest courses/golf facility in the Twin Cities. The clubhouse is extraordinary; has amazing locker rooms. The restaurant is top notch. Got to play the course just after the first PGA 3M open. The course conditions are outstanding. Amazing course layout and hole designs. Greens that rolled so amazingly true. It was a 5 star experience for sure!
We had the BEST experience at this course! Every single employee was helpful and extremely friendly. We had an incredible lunch which was a great break from the heat.I had the pleasure of meeting Adriana who takes care of the bathrooms which were SPOTLESS. I would recommend this course to anyone !

Excellent layout to play if you are lucky enough to have as connection to host you. Was there working as a volunteer for the 3M Open. Great weather and an exciting finish for the inaugural event. Last 26 years was known as the Senior PGA Tour's 3M Championship.
Like a golf course in Korea, it is very upbeat because it has an up and down slope. The in course is a bit more difficult better than out course, but I want to come again.
Chipping green was amazing. But flooded with golf balls that everyone is done with. I was harassed for accepting balls that people didn’t want. Literally the lady said “here’s some extra practice for you, good luck”. The GM Chris, although much nicer than the ranger guy, said I am stealing and costing them money in divots. That sweet lady would’ve had a fit if she would’ve seen them harass me about this. Wedge area was nice too. But apparently I was the rule breaker of the day, because the ranger told us it was wedges only directly to us when people literally hitting long irons next to us. I pointed them out and the ranger said basically when you’re a great player you can do whatever! I just felt uncomfortable and attacked all day. I don’t know why but it was weird and unusual. Don’t worry, I’ll keep the race card in my pocket.
Got to spend the day with the guys. Great course and very close to home.
My group had such a wonderful time at the Marriot Golf Academy! Staff in the pro shop was friendly, professional, cheerful and added to our morning with a fantastic sense of humor. We were able to get an extra golf cart, complimentary, for a member of our group with an injured foot who only wanted to accompany us, which was deeply appreciated. The course is lush and wonderfully laid out so that most of the round feels like a totally private experience. Every staffer we encountered was helpful and affable in every way. We appreciated the cold towels - especially with the heat. The course was extremely damp, but it really didn't change how much we enjoyed our round one bit.

Played before a tournament so had to play quickly but the course was in really good shape even right after the floods. Fairways were like carpet and the greens were perfect. Made for a great day of golf.
Exceeded my expectations..greens were hard and fast with reasonable amount of undulation (just like the upper end private courses). Fairways were nicely stripped and well maintained. Fringes were very good. The sand traps were quite hard though with only about 1" of loose sand on top. The pin flags are not colored so you don't know if they are front, back or middle of the green. I will certainly play again soon.
Didn't realize it was short course till I arrived but was not disappointed. Just what I needed. Played 18 only marred by very slow foursomes on the last 4 holes, and lack of water on the course - coolers were empty and not filled even though I let them know. Otherwise a 5. Staff were super nice. Nice chipping area and range. DO take a cart - it is not walkable.
Amazing layout! Course was in excellent condition. A course that will tune up the game for any skill level of golfer. Staff was very friendly. I'll definitely be
golfing at Dahlgren again in 2017!
