Cool golf course but excessive play has reduced the course conditions
Well maintained course, always in good shape, and wasn't crowded at all (at least when I was there). And my wife loves the wildlife you see on the course!

I’ve played this course many times and it’s usually great.
Played last week and the state of the course with aeration, sand everywhere and new bunker construction work was very poor. The person in the clubhouse didn’t even mention it and charged full price. Should have left it closed for another week or discounted the rates… or at least mentioned it when people booked.

Always in great condition. Not long but fun and fair layout. Also, a good walk.
Humidity: 93%
Temperature: A gazillion degrees
Course Condition: like cereal sitting for a day in milk
Overall experience: still gooder
I played here for a charity event, and the course was in excellent condition. The greens were full, read well, and putted well. Fairways were in very good condition, and the rough could be challenging, thick, and sometimes long. Nice golf carts, just a little pricey, hence 4 stars.
I recently visited Fredrick Maryland. I had the opportunity to play multiple courses in the area. I have to say this was my favorite. The grounds were very well kept. Clear fairways fast rolling greens. After hole night we visited the Clubhouse. The lady was very polite. She made a great sandwich. The back 9 were a lot of fun. Not a difficult course but challenging. I will definitely be back to play another round.

Just played two rounds one at Crystal springs and the other at black bear. Very disappointed that they decided to aerated the greens right before the holiday weekend and leave them in terrible condition. Was enough sand on the greens to build a sand castle. Also the golf etiquette was so bad of the players we played with and all over the course. Black bear was much nicer but still had ver slow play problems with one group joining up with 9 people.
I was a kitchen worker & this place needs a exterminator. I worked as a cook @ a lot of venues & In this day and time with the cost that is paid for weddings & other events it hurts me to see a kitchen so dirty. And the way they treat minorities smh. They must think slavery still exists.. I would not be surprised if one day something bad happens there.. I will definitely keep that place in my prayers..
greens a little slow...but they held nice...nice fairways...Tee boxes could use some work... over all nice course...enjoyed playing...

A beautiful day at Riverwalk. However, no golf for me today. It's Re-certification season for Medicare agents. One down, many more to go. Riverwalk is an excellent host for these Medicare company presentations.
The venue is gorgeous! I own Moon Child Sweets and just had a wedding delivery this past weekend. Amber was very helpful and attentive. I also knew the bride personally, so I was able to go check out the bridal suite while they were getting ready. It was very cute! It had snacks and even had a refrigerator stocked with drinks for them to enjoy while getting ready. I took a quick tour of the venue while I was there. The bar and dining area had great decor. There's golf available on site as well. Overall, I loved everything about this venue!
Range balls are dirty which destroys the grooves on your clubs. Range is closed half the time and when it is open most of the time they are out of balls. Service in the pro shop is non existent. Tee box’s are almost all dirt (bet they move to mats soon) and if you finish your round without almost getting hit by a golf ball consider it a win.

Membership is great for the range balls and cheap rounds with a free drink but beware if you try to cancel it becomes a major ordeal.

Victoria is the BEST!!!! She delivered wonderful service and drink recommendations. She was the sunshine to PGA National. There is no PGA National without Victoria. 100/100 review.
Well, where do I start. My wife booked us a weekend getaway for my 50th birthday with a round of golf on the champions. From the moment we walked in the experience went downhill. After we check-in and headed to our room the smells in the hallway headed to the room smelled like old carpet. as we entered the room the decor was right from the brady bunch show. The bathroom was filthy, the sliding doors had handprints all over it and there was hair on the beds, totally and utterly unacceptable. After my wife told them our issue, they gave us another room. That room was honestly worse, but we just accepted it knowing we would check out a day early. This room had kid's handprints all over sliding doors, pubic hair on the bed, food in the cushions of the couch, food and trash under the coffee table and bathroom wasn't clean. If you really want a true PGA experience, go somewhere else. They praised the renovations they did but it wasn't impressive at all. I don't mind spending money on nice places, but this wasn't worth it at all. For the price i would have rather went to the Breakers to golf or even Disney which is more high class, clean and friendly for the price. I would have given a 1 star, however the pro shop staff was nice, and the course was amazing, so 2 stars it is. If you are visiting, this is a great place to golf but STAY OFF property, you will thank me. I would have rather stayed at a holiday inn express compared to this place. Sorry PGA National you completely disappointed me, the family and friends.

It’s too expensive for 9 holes of mini golf. So I was expecting some really cool obstacles and holes. But it was essentially just 8 regular holes and one water obstacle that didn’t work.
The lady working the golf counter was really rude, she was extremely dismissive of us and actually yelled over us to work with the people in line behind us first. She really made us feel like we weren’t welcome and inconveniencing her by wanting to play mini golf.

I give the mini golf course a 5/5 stars but the lady at the front desk gets a 1/5, giving the overall establishment 3/5 stars.
It’s at a great location in liberty station. Though a bit overpriced, the course is nice and the drinks are tasty.
However, the lady at the front desk was very rude to every single customer that came up to the front desk, saying rude comments both out loud and under her breath. She had bad vibes and I felt a bit uncomfortable interacting with her.
Its an OK course. However, Moco Golf has gotten absurdly expensive for the product that they are delivering. If you want to play a weekend round in the AM with a cart, you are going to be close to $100.00. The courses are in no way shape or form worth that much. As a moco player my whole life, its a shame that they are charging this much for a county owned course. They aren't even keeping the conditions up. Patchy grass, weeds, etc. Should be about 25% less than what they are charging.
Been here a few times and every single time I went, they were out of balls. Had to wait for 20 mins to finally be able to hit and it wasn’t even busy. The only reason why I put 2 stars is because it’s close to my place.
It’s a good place to go sign up for a membership if you love golfing…A lot of privileges if you have an elite membership, everything you can do here…invite your friends and family to come celebrate on special holidays that is included in your yearly fee to eat and you can go golfing as much as you can in you free time. Very nice place to relax and see the green grass that so beautiful that we cannot help take pictures of ourselves lol. Foods were really delicious and lots of variety of desserts to choose from. Staff are also very friendly. This is a stress reliever have time to relax while enjoying yourself of what you paid annually.1
Way under rated in my opinion. This is my new spot now. Had an unexpected Friday at work and had to grab a shovel and get dirty. Showed up like a wreck for my golf reservation but still killed it on the course. Everyone is friendly and hospitable. Couldn't ask for more
Great club and course. Great people as well. Had a wonderful time. Great food as well.
I play a lot in the area but never played CS until yesterday. Everything about this course impressed me. Condition was very good. Prices low for the area. Layout is interesting and has variety. Really enjoyed and will be back soon! Thank you for keeping your rates fair and not gouging us like many other courses in the area have.
Attended a wedding at the club, the entire day was wonderful despite the rain. The food delicious, the wait staff accommodating and the venue is top notch. Sorry, no pics this time - not my wedding!

This place is so fun! It's filled with lots of different types of holes, variety of drinks to choose from, good customer service and good atmosphere. Shade throughout both parks for the summer heat and nice breezes coming through as well. Mini golf area is unbeatable!

Gorgeous place, a must play.
The only reason they get to charge 80$ for a weekday tee time is location. The fairways are dried out, and grass is patchy at best. The back 9 starts off with construction zone that continues for next couple holes, looks awful and changes the shape of those holes. No warning of this when booking a tee time, and if that's a discount rate that's horrible. The only saving grace is the greens are like a normal course. If you are looking to golf in SD go to Eastlake or TwinOaks similar price, 2x the value.

Lots of fun for the family! 18-hole mini golf and also a 9-hole regular golf course.
Our 4some played on July 1, 2023.

Everyone at this course was friendly and welcoming! Course was in great shape, and the price is very reasonable. Ashlynn inside the food area was awesome...friendly and professional. The 2 cart server young ladies were also very friendly and on top of things. Great round and very pleasant day!
This private golf course hosts wonderful outings and is always well maintained. Although the range is short there are flighted golf balls to practice swinging longer clubs. The short game area is large and perfect for practice. The golf course is long, but can be forgiving without much hazard or trouble to be found. With over 100 single digit handicap members this is definitely a players club.
Almost $100 greens fees and not a drop of water on the course only empty and missing coolers. C’mon guys I know you don’t give anything away, but water???

Nice course, greens were awesome, fairways as well..key to most courses is putting it in the fairway to have a chance at a respectable score. Sand was great, plenty of water, trees and marsh to challenge your game. We had some food and beer in the restaurant. Well done there as well. I will come back.
They hosted a great fundraiser. The course was very well maintained and the food was very good!
Great course close to the SAN airport. Fun layout and views of the city. Greens were in great shape plus if you want to walk it’s a perfect spot to grab a pull cart.

Course was not that easy. It's not really for beginners. The pace of play can be very slow due to people with high handicaps playing. The course was in great shape and our round took 4.5 hours. I would definitely return to play even though it's an hour drive from my home.
This place is great if you don’t expect much. The employees were chill and we had a great time. The clubhouse pictured here was last touched in 1968.
Lively course with bustling patio and bar. The layout is pretty flat but interesting enough to make it fun. The course conditions were good and the price was very fair. Staff were friendly. Had a nice day out on the course.
Fun yet difficult executive course with a friendly staff. Be sure to see JoJo at the turn for some incredible drinks.

I would have give it zero star if there is such thing. I booked tee time at 6:06pm on June 5, 2023 for me and my friends at Needwood. But deal to miscommunication, my friend went ahead and booked it for himself at the same time. When I realized the problem, I called the Needwood golf course, but no one picked up the phone.

when I got there, I checked in with Chris who actually gave me a hard time for the confusion. He was very rude and using the analogy that he could not sell the apple which is bad?? I was so amused and asked him that would he rather lose the opportunity to selling that apple because customers made a mistake booking and lose a lot of customers? he answered "yes"!

It appears that this golf course has so much business that they don't care about customers because of its prime location. This is not the first time I have seen or heard about the bad services from this golf course. I'd much rather take my money and business to other courses in Montgomery County.

Unless you are willing to deal with this kind of attitude, I strongly recommend you to go other golf courses which are much friendlier and they value customer service!
Love the course, nice fairways and the greens roll great. Also friendly staff from inside the pro shop to the bag drop crew. Always feel welcome and play my best golf there. Definitely coming back again
Food and service verity good

Great atmosphere on Sundays. The live band was playing great music. Or friends rented out the patio for a party and we liked that it was semi private and not tucked away in the back somewhere. Drinks were great and the bartenders were fast and fun. Didn't get to try the mini golf but everyone looked like they were having a great time.

Lots of bare spots on fairways. Weird sand and gravel mix in the bunkers. Greens were soft and spongy and looked like they needed to be mowed.

The starter was cool and friendly.

The course needs some major help to get it in shape. No GPS on carts, which would be nice as there are a few holes where a driver could get you into trouble. Nothing tells you what that distance is.

The snack cart lady was cool.

There are better tracks for the money in san diego.

Elite 9-hole golfing club open to the public. Many of San Diego’s best municipal golfers enjoy this hidden gem on the border of Liberty Station. If you are used to playing Mission Bay, you can leave your helmet and protective gear at home because this club attracts players who hit the ball pure and straight. Before the round, I highly recommend a stop at Dirty Birds to prime the pump, and then stuffing your bag with San Diego’s finest craft beers at Loma’s well-stocked pro shop.
We're new to Frederick and this was our first time playing here. The course is in decent shape for this time of year, although the greens were recently aerated (sadly, no discount for the rough greens). We enjoyed the senior rate and look forward to playing it again.
Just left a corporate event hosted here and I can’t say enough about the great experience! Friendly staff, wonderful food and beautiful atmosphere. If you are looking for a welcoming, upscale venue for an event whether it’s corporate, wedding or just a family gathering you cannot ask for better!

Pros:
-Nice layout, there wasn’t a flat spot on the entire course!
-Every hole was a new challenge
-Greens are hard to read but true to their line
-Water and bunkers are placed strategically to make you struggle
-Tees range for all length of hitters
-Fantastic views
-Staff is nice

Cons:
-Most tee boxes were slanted
-Not walkable, holes seem miles away from each other
Awesome course! Can't wait to come back in the summer
We held a surprise birthday here and it was perfect. The room set up was awesome, the service was great, and the food was delicious! Would definitely recommend this venue for anyone looking for a place to host an event.
Went in the evening to a dinner. Was very nice atmosphere. The service was more than expected and were out of this world professional. Loved it.

Course was in absolutely terrible condition. We weren’t told when we teed off. Paid $65 for round and $50 for rentals which were nice. Other than the water on the course, there was trash everywhere. Maybe from the flooding. I can understand they don’t control the weather but the pro shop typically lets people know that. We managed to get through 9 holes with soaked shoes and dirty pants. One pro shop attendant was at least nice enough to refund half the green fees to make it a 9 hole round though another one proceeded to lecture us on how we were lucky to get any money back at all. Unnecessary rudeness.

I was able to play there as guest of a member. Although it was late November, the conditions of the fairways and greens were very good.

The clubhouse was fancy, but warm and welcoming. If I had more time for golf, I would definitely consider joining.

If you get the opportunity to play here, do it!
The entire building is not ADA compliant. If invited with my severely disabled 23 year old daughter to an event, we would immediately need to leave.

This is the worst course I’ve ever been too! 52$ for a cart and every green had sand on it and holes, multiple greens the pin cup was higher than the grass, every tee box was dirt. Absolutely brutal golf experience.

Did I really just play a round in September or was it February? Did I really just play a Montgomery County course or is this a Baltimore City Muni? Did my group really get asked to speed up when finishing the front 9 in 2 hours and 10 minutes while the group behind us had to wait maybe twice?

This course is in TERRIBLE shape right now. There is crab grass patches everywhere and bare spots everywhere you look.

It should be a criminal offense that they charge more to play here than Northwest!

If you are a mid/high handicap senior (and can get a discount), or looking to yuck it up and play speed golf with your buddies, this might be the place for you.

If you are a good golfer and care at all about course conditions, steer WAY clear from here.

All the staff we meet was great, friendly and helpful to out of town first time guests. The course is a good layout, challenging and fair from the different tees and all skill levels. Conditions were maybe not the best on many of the holes but overall it was a good experience and would play again when in the area!

Sharon & myself joined back in March 2022 not knowing how incredible the Plateau Club is!!! From Chris & David being wonderful Pro's and Sean who handles the bar area, we are so fortunate to be members. Speaking of which, the members have welcomed us with open arms. Everyone has been very nice and looking forward to playing some rounds soon with them. The course is second to none. Amazing holes, well groomed, with perfect greens. It may be ranked difficult, but that's what you want when it's your home course that you play a lot.

The crystal springs golf course is all about accurate shotmaking, and accuracy over distance is the key. Lots of moguls in the fairways and offset to the fairways.Greens were in good condition and rolled nicely.. While our foursome was not the fastest, we kept up with the group ahead and resulted in a long unacceptable 5 1/2 hour round. Not a ranger to be seen all day who could better regulate pace of play.

This place is cool. My wife and I just celebrated our 11 year anniversary here with 18 holes of Miniature Golf $21 a person for 18 holes and 2 courses and $14 if you only wanted to play 1 course of 9 holes. First course was called The Gator course and the second was called Gopher course which is much harder than the Gator course. Both equally fun. On the weekends they have live music and benches to sit at to enjoy the entertainment. There is also a small bar and a food menu with about 10 or so items. We got the House Tenders which consisted of Chicken Tenders and Fries for $14.

Kids and family friendly course, the executive 9 hole is a nice course, you can do it in 2 hours. Had fun with my son.
This place is cute for date or chill hang out with friends, but make sure it's not in the evening or the weekend. It's a mini course, so it's charms go away with the full capacity lines and rushed golf with a line behind you off screeching children running all over the place. The drink prices are decent, only $5 for an adult beverage and friendly staff.

It is a fun but pretty challenging course. Maintained pretty well but drainage is not great, ground was pretty muddy fairway and and especiallythe roughs.... but the greens are one of the best ive seen in WA. Staff and and facility top notch. Only thing that was disappointing was, for $100 round it does not include range balls or a cart, and no oki discount even though theyre part of it. Plenty of other courses to go for that price. Worth going once but probably would not go back
Super excited to know that they offer grass on the driving range as well as Matt's but the grass area is unlevel unfortunately. The course looked to be in okay condition but overall not bad with scenic views.

Had a great time at this course today. The greens were great, roll true, some insulation for a little challenge. The par 3s are pretty long. A lot of walkers tho, kinda slowed the pace down some, but not too bad. I would definitely play this course again.
PGA National! Home of the Honda Classic! It's a big name and almost every golfer knows the name globally. However, as one of the golf courses at PGA National, the Fazio golf course doesn't live up to the name. It's very disappointed to pay that much money on a very poor managed course. The layout is good, the green speed is fast and smooth. The overall condition of the Fazio course is just awful at PGA National. It's similar to a $25 - $30 public course. The amenities at the golf club do not give players resort experiences. There is no bottle water and towels. The so-called complimentary range only give you only 5 extreme small buckets of balls; perhaps less than 90 balls. We were planning to play all PGA National courses; now we will only play the Champions course afterwards. It's not worth the money!

It was nice. I'm not really familiar with private golf clubs but it was clean and nicely decorated.
It gets 4 stars because of the $25 cost to play it. Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing course and about the most difficult anyone will ever play. The layout is simply incredible and diabolical at the same time. I guess my biggest complaint is the condition of the course itself. I'm not talking about the aerated greens, that's a necessary evil all courses must go through. And, Crystal Springs does the right thing by advertising that fact that the greens were aerated on such n such date, and then offers a reduced rate; hence the $25. I'm talking about the tee boxes, sand-less bunkers, and areas around the greens. Correct me if I'm wrong but it just seems like the course isn't maintained to the levels it used to be. The workers are all top notch and treat guests like private country club members and the clubhouse is world class. Maybe (hopefully) the conditions will improve as spring turns to summer, but still for the price you won't find a better deal or more challenging course.
This golf course is well maintained and well staffed! The staff is very friendly and professional. Took my son for some driving range time and we both had a great time. Of course kids always get hungry when they are out and about so we stopped by the concessions for some burgers. Adam was great! I always say; it's not what you, its how you do it and most of the its not what you say, its how you say it that makes a world of a difference. Adam was the last employee that we were in contact with and he made it pleasant for us! We'll definitely come back for more driving range shots and of course the burgers!

Nice patio for food and pleasant view. Very laidback. Very Good pleasant service, excellent food. Lot of food choices , esp fish which is my favorite. Had the grilled grouper that was perfectly cooked.
What a blast golfing with the Costco crew. The Plateau Club is quite a course and it's pretty hard. Good friends, good times, and I'll be back. Definitely recommend!
This place has a beautiful golfing course, however women are treated rather poorly. We get dirty looks and not the same respect as men. I'm not a crazy feminist but this is not right! Women can play golf too and some are probably better than the men!
Attended a 50th birthday party this evening. The setting couldn't have been nicer. The food served was delicious. Everyone had an enjoyable evening.
I found this course, overall, to be somewhere in between 3 and 4 stars, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt because I played on a foggy morning following a very rainy period, which probably effected the conditions somewhat. What to like: the course is designed to fit with the natural terrain. It follows a canyon out, and then back, crossing a small stream a couple of times. It's a very scenic area. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They have a nice driving range, and there is a package deal that is quite attractive if you can get to the course often. The greens were in excellent condition. Less favorable: The fairways on the par 4s are a little ragged, but that could be partly due to the recent rains. Many holes require real precise strikes. I lost 5 balls on hits that I thought were pretty dang good. Again, this could also be due to the soggy conditions and overgrown rough. I can't comment on the traps. They looked to be in good condition but, again, it was very wet out. Price is fair.
