Security here is exceptional. Especially, the female security. She is consistent and knowledgeable. you know you are safe when she is there. The kids love her and she works compared to her male counterpart that seems to be more of a doorman than security. I have seen ppl trying to give the security lady a hard time and she always stays professional. Kudos to her!!

I was surprised I could only pull up one library in Linden. It served its purpose. I needed a quiet spot to work while visiting.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the library is clean and well-maintained. There are plenty of places to sit and work, and the library also has a variety of programs and events for all ages.

Staff were very helpful. Some sits are wooden so if you plan to sit for long, bring a cushion for your back if you can.

For my first time going to the library I would say that if it wasn’t for the nice young lady on the first floor I wouldn’t come back at all. The second floor old lady by the computers was completely rude, unwelcoming & just miserable at her job. For that, she should retire and start appreciating life. Everything was an issue for her. Since it’s my first time being at this library I don’t have a library card. She didn’t even offer to get me one so I can use the computer without having to ask her for help to log in. Then she didn’t have change for me to pay for the copies. She told me to bring change next time but said it in the most annoyed tone. She kept rolling her eyes at me too. I had to go back downstairs and ask for change at the front desk. Thankfully that young lady was friendly and helped me out in the most sweetest way. As a true librarian would! The young lady helped me get a library card so next time I won’t have to deal with that rude old nasty lady.

Staff on the second floor are horribly rude! The big guy with blond hair working there harasses the visitors, including me. He has harassed me multiple times already. Also, as I was in my little corner studying, I could see that he just won’t stop talking to his other worker buddy at the desk. I really thought the library was supposed to be a quiet place until I came here!! I told the African American lady working on the second floor to speak to him and she told me at first, You should be the one to speak to him.” Pfft. Lady it’s not my job to tell you how you and the other workers should do YOUR job. Pathetic. Staff need to be retrained ASAP.

I have been going to this library for some time now and since the beginning there are some staff with a very miserable attitude. I never paid too much mind to this simply because this is the nearest library to me. I, alone with others, usually library bring a cup to drink throughout the study session. One day, I entered the library and one woman with terrible attitude escorts me out and tells me that I can not have my cup inside. This rule would not bother my, it is understandable. However, there were multiple people with coffee mugs/cups and she only points me out and tells me to leave with a very nasty remarks. I confronted her about others having cups and how my coffee cup was any different, She began to harass others and telling them that I was complaining about them having cups of coffee. Honestly, this encounter see homophonically driven seeing that she singling only me out and there some very nasty marks. A library is suppose to be a place of peace and kindness, yet the worker there was very gross and malicious.
