Amazing coffee and the best bagels in Perth CBD! Cute merchandise and friendly staff too.

I did get coffee from Playa for couple months but then i stop and as they never filled my 12oz keep cup to the top. Its actually an inch from the top. I keep telling them to fill to the top as i have a cup that doesn't spill with the lid. Pay for 12oz but i get 10oz less without the foam. Changed order from cappuccino to flat white. Worked for a little while and then back to an inch from the top. Server forgot how to smile or shes never had a good day.

Had a flat white with a bagel for $11 which is great value, especially in the city centre. The coffee was okay but just not strong enough to taste, seemed more like a latte. Mozzarella bagel was good but again just not that flavoursome. The place was crazy busy with a huge queue though, so perhaps I was just unlucky?

Fantastic rye bagel. Super fresh, full of flavour and toasted perfectly. The coffee was great too and the staff were incredibly friendly. Lovely buzzy atmosphere, not too busy and an ideal CBD location too. Would definitely recommend!

Five stars for bagels, coffee and service. This is a small shop located in between buildings. Open, shady and breezy, with seating available.
Service was very fast and organized given there was a long long line (less than 5 min wait). Kudos for that!
Bagels (plain with jalapeno cream cheese and rosemary with plain cream cheese) were absolutely heavenly. I should say, I did not have a proper bagel in Australia since my move 5 years ago. Playa Coffee changed this.
I also tried a plain croissant. Or rather tried to try... This is a thing in AU, they smash croissant, please don't do that AU, please. I could take couple bites than it turned into rawhide... So if you want croissant, tell them how you want it.
Coffee was also amazing.
I will absolutely go back, again, again and again.

Hidden coffee spots in CBD. Great value for bagel and coffee deal $10. The deal comes with large size coffee( I believe it’s 12oz) and choices of bagel. Funky cafe and great coffee. However, staffs seem too busy to talk to each other. I feel like an interruption so I didn’t ask about the coffee beans I am interested. I was not sure if they are selling when I saw the sign. Also I saw barista made a few double espresso sitting in glasses when there were no people around. I wondered if they were going to make coffee with those pre-made espresso.

FYI, they have outdoor seating only.

Funky cafe where we can watch NBA all the time! Their Bagel & Brew (large coffee) deal for $10 was great option for me to have a bite with a long macchiato. I enjoyed my coffee time in a very bright place with natural sun light (not a direct light). Their open area is covered with glass ceiling so this will be good for a quick coffee meeting, rain or shine :)
