Service here is beyond! Made a mistake with my coffee order (totally my miscommunication) and the staff went all out to remake it and insisted I didn’t have to pay for my own mistake. Service like this is a rare thing these days. And by the way, coffee was great.

Was craving porridge and this place did not disappoint!
Had the coconut rice flake porridge which was very tasty and coffee was well up to this Melbourne hipster’s standards!
Staff were friendly & the layout of the cafe was cute with lots of books around to keep you entertained.

I've always loved this place, and I'm so pleased that the new owners are just as nice and friendly as the previous ones. It's fantastic to see that it's still a wonderful little cafe! The location, food, and service are all great. The bagel was definitely a standout!

The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. The coffee is the best I’ve had since moving to Australia from the UK. Not only is the food delicious there is a large variety of options to have- from salads to brownies to burgers. Can not recommend this place enough. Best place to have your work break if you want cheerful conversation with good food.

Ordered ahead, before 10am and many menu items were already sold out. Lengthy wait to be able to collect order. Tried the bolongese toastie & the ham baguette. Stand out was definitely the canned latte.

Stopped in for breakfast here we had the brioche French toast & scrambled eggs good food good vibe location was great 👍 freshly made juices we ordered coffee to take away. Twas busy but we got in & out in an 1hr

Went in this morning for a Coffee and a smoothy. Reasonable pricing however quality of drinks was very poor. “Large “coffee came in a cup any other cafe would consider a medium. The “large coffee which advertises as 3 shots tasted like it only had 1. If anything considering it’s in a smaller cup it should be stronger?
Also smoothy had large chunks of banana in it, 3-4x the size of the straw, a basic blender would have done a better job.

One of the best breakfast’s I’ve had! They gave us a proper knife that can actually cut through the sourdough, really good serving size, poached eggs cooked to perfection. Would love to come back and try the rest of the menu!!

Excellent coffee in a cozy rustic environment. The eggs benedict with haloumi is excellent, but the double chocolate muffin is misleading since the flour is not chocolate. The hot mocha is very good, as is the service. I will be back!

Happily stumbled across this gem of a coffee shop one afternoon, very happy I did as this place serves some of the best matcha latte I have had. The lady’s who run it are very kind and attentive.

Pleasant Surprise - Stopped in for coffee and we noticed the pre-made breakfast wraps in the window; usually it’s a bit of a gamble purchasing these but wow these were great!
Bacon, eggs, some type of mayo like sauce, herbs, diced tomato etc so much flavour packed into this brekky wrap.
The coffee was also perfect. Highly recommend

Top shelf coffee store with fantastic food. I was lucky enough to be there for the spit roasted lamb on the last Friday of the month. What a sensation. Staff all provide great service. Definitely a cut above.

Had a very good lunch here. The menu had a lot of modern breakfast specialties. I had the special, with poached eggs, avocado, beet purée, crispy kale, and balsamic reduction on grilled bread. My wife had the heart healthy starter, with smoked salmon, poached eggs, cottage cheese on grilled bread. Both were very good, as was my tropical storm smoothie.

We had lunch here and the food was sensational. The food was fresh, healthy and most importantly tasty. The staff talked us through the menu and even explained how one of the sauces was made. Very friendly staff who obviously are very passionate about the food they serve. We will definitely be back next time we are in Bendigo.

The cafe feels unique and has a friendly atmosphere. The banana bread is great. Unfortunately, when dining in, the outside seating is spoiled by the only view being passing traffic. Otherwise a quaint place to grab a bite with lovely staff.

Great little cafe in Southport. Ideal spot to wait while getting your car serviced. Serves Merlo coffee - a smooth blend without that slight bitter edge that some beans have. Good is tasty and very reasonably priced. Dog friendly. Shaded outdoor seating on a South facing courtyard.

We chanced upon this place and decided to get a cuppa. Was recommended the mocha and oh my, was it an awesome recommendation! The mocha is rich, aromatic and rich! Wished we had gotten a double shot instead!

Spotted several delicious-looking baked goods too. Do support this cafe!

King Arthur Cafe in Fortitude Valley had a great vibe, lots of delicious options on the menu and our food + beverages were fresh and full of flavour. Recommend the Queenslander burger, avo on toast, smoothies (green), milkshake (very creamy), soy latte, and eggs on toast. In particular the avo on toast flavours were amazing and each element complimented each other. Delish! Great location and they have a selection of yummy treats at the front counter too.

We visited with a group of friends and genuinely enjoyed our visit. We think you're doing great and wanted to give you an honest review of our experience at your home!

Venue: 9/10
• The venue itself is in a great location that's very close to public transport and a street over from the famous James Street Precinct. A wonderful spot they have. The design of the entrance is seating is super quaint and pretty, the top floor is a gorgeous space with beautiful natural lighting that seeps through.

Food: 8/10
• The choices of breakfast we had in the morning was the Baba Ghanoush & The Salmon Tartare. Both recommendations remain high on our list, we savoured almost every bite from these dishes. They contained a great combination of flavours to really surprise and excite your tastebuds and keep you happy!

Presentation: 10/10
• As shown in the pictures we provided with this review, the presentation was stunning and the lighting upstairs really gives it justice. That being said, we love creativity with food dishes and how every ingredient can be placed properly. You can see both dishes carry their own unique colour palette.

Service: 4/10
• Unfortunately, this is where our experience differed from the remainder of the trip. Our table host lacked the ability to produce hospitality, warmth, or even a care in looking after us. We barely received a smile and when taking orders he would stand there displaying frustration with us ordering, maybe we weren't clear, maybe we took to long for him and when he repeated back orders it came across in a condescending tone. When he delivered our drinks and food he constantly left it at the head of the table where no one was sitting, didn't explain what each dish/drink was and walked off that we had to sort it out ourselves. When someone did vocalise their dish he refused to place it by them, again, he would leave it at the end of the table. When we had no water he did not maintain any awareness or want to cater and look after us (it was a very hot morning). When we asked for anything including a refresh on table water we were constantly met with a huff or an annoyed look.

Overall, we did enjoy our visit truly. Our review is intended to be honest as we are with every place we visit. We want clarity with every potential customer reading this and the establishment itself picking up on any critiques that can be implemented to better its services where applicable.

I love that they had several gluten & dairy free options to choose from. I had the rice porridge which was delicious and filling. The service was excellent with the staff happy to suggest options that suited my dietary needs. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere.

This is by far my favourite place to eat in Bendigo! Great flavours and variety and super healthy too. I travel over from Adelaide several times a year and always look forward to my visit here. The staff are friendly and helpful too 😊👍

Thanks to my friend who suggested me to try their new addition burger. This is really yummy and well layered.

This little cafe facing Brunswick Street is a hidden gem! It has an oasis out the back in a pleasant alley with a covered seating area, plus there's seating inside as well. You can enter from the front or from the alley entrance. They make excellent coffee using Coffee Supreme beans, which are locally roasted. The menu is reasonably priced with bagels a specialty, but there's a range of options to choose from. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a good quiet spot to relax, away from the bustling streets.

Toast, waffle and flat white are good, customer service is also good. However, i note sth. Iced mocha is below average, my spaghetti on toast is cold and warm 😞. I also note the tables are not clean enough, i hope they can improve it.

Brisbane's friendliest coffee shop! Coffee is as delicious as ever, and it is still a place where prices are kept as low as possible after the price of electricity increases across the city in July. Highly recommend flat white. The owner loved her shop, delicious food and music. Hope everyone who drinks coffee in this lucky shop has a good day!

What a great little find this place turned out to be! We were looking for somewhere for a quick lunch and stumbled across the Wholefoods Kitchen. Staff were very friendly and the selection of foods on offer was amazing. And everything on display in the window so you know exactly what you are getting. Some excellent vegetarian and vegan options too, lots of very creative and unusual dishes to choose from. Drinks; coffees, chai smoothies were all top notch.

Salmon tartare with avocado, potatoes, smoked egg was great. Too much for me though😄 Coffee are amazing. The place has a unique charm, minimalist.

A busy little coffee shop in Hay Street. We were told there would be a wait for our coffees if we didn't want takeaways. We decided to wait & our flat whites were good, nicely presented & wait time only about 5 minutes

Super kind staff who were buzzing and happy to be there. Grabbed some quick brekky here - cheese and ham toastie - and it was decent. Nice seating arrangement in a semi outdoor location. 👍🏻

☕️I ordered my standard almond flat white and it had a burnt taste. Almond milk can be tricky, so worth noting that my partner’s long black was fine.

🍳Not a huge selection for breakfast but some solid options. I added halloumi and a poached egg to their avocado toast. It came with chickpeas, which I think would have been amazing had it been roasted and crispy - but they were soft and didn’t add much texture or flavour. A nicely decorated slice of lime was added to the side - really pretty but would have loved a solid wedge to add lime juice to the entire plate.

👍Friendly service and solid food, would come back but would prove my not order almond milk in my coffee.

A hidden gem. Just a short walk from office yet I have not noticed them till today. Best coffee I've had around, and their cinnamon scrolls are even better. Will be back for sure.

Nice atmosphere, close to the Westin Perth. Had the mini cinnamon bun and oat milk cappuccino. Mini bun is great for a light breakfast.

The staff were all friendly, service prompt, and is nicely located just across the beach. The fish tacos were decent but what we enjoyed more were the cold brew, which were fragrant, not bitter, and packed a little oomph. Would pop by again when we're in the area.

My friend told me they have the best maple bacon for breakfast, I never tried maple bacon before and I feel so weird to eat bacon with sweet favour. But guess what, it tastes so good, unexpectedly. The location is great, with a perfect mermaid beach view.

It's been a few years since I have visited Reverends. I think it may have changed management. The coffee is still great though, enjoyed a very smooth beautifully flavoured flat white. Good presentation, pleasant service. Nice selection of sweets too, freshly made muffins & fluffy croissant

Strongly recommend Ocean Cafe 4218, friendly and efficient service, excellent food (especially the burgers), good location. We dined in but their takeaway tastes just as great. Will be returning for certain!

This cafe is definitely a hidden Gems 💎 on the south side. The setting was absolutely gorgeous, open space, gentle breeze, I can literally sit here all morning enjoy my coffee and read my newspaper (I mean Bloomberg app)
The cafe is family operated and it means you will always get that home feeling when you entered.
Coffee was well made, it got all sorts of milk 🥛 options that matches everyone needs but mine will aways be full cream.
The almond croissant 🥐 was very crispy with a lot of puff pastry and it smells a good taste of butter inside, super well done.
I am super glad I have find this spot, it really made my day.

This cafe is situated near the movie theatre and the putt putt golf on the Southbound Gold Goast Highway. There is limited street parking in front but located between two side street gives lot of parking. The coffee is strong and hot, has a large choice of meals, see photos and is pet friendly outside. Will be having breakfast again at this Cafe.

Lovely experience at Ocean 4218! I went for a brekkie with my partner and we ordered 2 big breakfast and it was delicious, we didn’t want the bacon and they offered us to replace it for anything we wanted. Great food and Rodrigo, the owner I guess, was so nice with us! We will definitely come back, highly recommended!

Went in with an open mind and hoping to love it due to the fantastic location. The quality of food wasn't very high (very basic ingredients, especially the sausage in the big breakfast) and we weren't wowed with the staff. Also the patio area felt a bit dirty and tired - could do with a spruce up. All up though, still enjoyed our food.

Update: We had sore stomachs for the next 24hrs after eating here.

Very nice restaurant and owner i am guessing. The food was great and attentive service even though he said he was short of staff... the setup sitting outside is great for my two young kids... Owner came and had a chat with us and offered us some chocolate coconut milkshake for the kids... greatly appreciated...

My partner and I have a regular coffee meet up with another couple, and this time we came here. We ordered two flat white, two long black and the couple had a sourdough toast too. For the sourdough toast, they preferred to have jam that the staff said they might not have that. But she tried her best and finally got some jam to serve, really appreciate their service. Our coffees were all good and the toast was nice too. We had a nice time there and definitely will be back. Very friendly staffs and good service. Recommend!

Good venue with a variety of dietary and menu options. Vegetarian-friendly and gluten-free choices. I had the Burmese Beef bowl, and the service was excellent. The waiter offered me a side of crispy chilli oil paste which added a better taste to the dish. The salad was fresh, but the beef was made ahead of time and was less tender than the usual braised beef. Overall experience (7/10).

Place has a great atmosphere. Everybody is either busy talking or studying. Great place if you need a relaxing view and a nice breeze going by.

This place was lovely as a mid morning brunch stop. Even though we were not really fitting in with the other patrons (mostly business men/women), we were made to feel very comfortable.

Service was delightful and prompt. They recommended the most popular dishes which we ordered. The food was quick and tasty, a little creative but not too out there. Only off part was the random few leaves of spinach with balsamic - not needed and looked kinda tacky. I also wish they served it with two pieces of toast. Not sure what the theme is around Brisbane with only serving one piece of toast but it just left me feeling like I needed a bit more bread with the rest of my toppings.

Coffee was simple and tasty, presented well. Both reasonably priced and competitive for the area.

Atmosphere was great. Nice decor and REAL PLANTS!!!!! Always love a good greenspace. The outlook over the balcony was also really pleasant. Overall would return again. Also really want to try their baklava they had (it seemed homemade?!?)

Good place for all types of food ~ salads, beef, savoury muffins ~ try their tumeric latte ~ it can be excellent ~ I have found their long black to be different every time I've been here ~ today's was robust but unfortunately still no krema. Great pizza today with all sorts of surprises.

FreshStart has loads of options besides those on the menu so always ask if there is something you would like.
Gluten free options. Banana Bread, Raspberry Friands, gluten free raisin toast, nachos, chilli bowls, Acai breakfast bowl, made to order salads, sandwiches and toasties made to order on gluten free bread.

Recently my partner went to FreshStart in Eight Mile plains and asked for no avocado as she is allergic. She made this very clear to Phoebe (the shop assistant) but she ended up with it in her wrap. This is completely unacceptable as she had to leave work early because she got a severe reaction. The shop assistant did not give any apology and argued that she requested it which in my opinion is unprofessional behaviour. I caution anyone using these people especially if you have specific requests.
