We've been coming here recently for our date nights as we're trying to spend more time as a couple, without breaking the budget. Quality time with quality food. We've been coming on weekdays not very busy times and we enjoy the service and food. Keep up guys and hope we will always have a good service and food.

It looks good from the outside but once you are seated it's the opposite. The service was almost non-existent with only 2 people serving 30 tables. The ingredients weren't good quality. The grill kept going off. The exhaust doesn't even function and it seems to be just for show as the entire place is filled with smoke. Worst restaurant in Chinatown.

All you can eat Korean barbeque just for $35. I would recommend going in a big group, plenty of food to share, good taste and flavour.

Ahh yes..
The classic Korean BBQ Restaurant.

I've heard all about this place and no wonder it's this good.

Unlike other restaurants where they serve you "cooked food." The BBQ is the name comes from the BBQ being in YOUR TABLE.

NOT AROUND. INSIDE YOUR TABLE.

THIS IS HOW YOU SHOULD RUN A RESTAURANT!!

This means, you do the cooking. Not the people that serve the food. This comes with many perks like:

- You cook it how you want it
- Not a long wait on getting served
- You choose when you want to eat

And there's so much more.

Along with that, there are unfortunately downsides.

- The BBQ flames have a bad habit of going out, then you need to wait for a waiter to light it again.

- And there's smoke.. Not "cough cough.. call Fireman Sam" smoke, but there's smoke.

There is a tube thing that sucks up the smoke. But smoke still escapes the tube, leading it to go to the roof. Not a big problem, just pointing it out.

Apart from that, service is fantastic and the food is cut perfectly.

Also, get the buffet. If you do. The place turns into an All You Can Eat.

So yeah, pay them a visit, unless you want to miss out.

Food was really nice, however for the banquet some of the items listed on it were now being charged extra for if you wanted. One of the three charcoal grills was not hot so could not be used for the sitting which was a bit frustrating - staff kept coming back to try to get it going. That being said was all you could eat for under $40 a head and plenty of variety - will be going back.

I dunno how to describe it. I really love
BBQ but I just didnt get the feeling here. The queue was so long to wait your table even if you book it online. The floor staff was 2 only and if i can say they have to be all rounder, greeting, taking order, bring your food, cleaning and cashier like really? The table was full and only 2 people on the floor? The food was like OK, the BBQ plate gonna burn ur meat easily. The service was good but look at the side dish little tiny pieces, price is affordable.

Not pleasant experience and not going to return.

Restaurant | ★☆☆☆☆
- There was no queue when we were there whilst the whole street was extremely busy, and the other shops required >20min of wait. First thing we noticed was the smoke. The smoke is EVERYWHERE in the restaurant, seems no exhaust works and surprised that fire alarm didn’t go blast.
- The grills are broken in the middle due to the stovetop overheating and the coals are for no use (oh for decoration probably) while the actual cooking was done by gas stove. And it requires a water bottle to sit on the knob so that the stove works, on all tables.
- Ladies’ doesn’t have light. Understand it just needs a replacement of light bulb but yeah, it was totally dark. Saw a staff member walking out from there but didn’t seem to have reported/fixed the issue

Food | ★☆☆☆☆
We ordered A la carte given some items we wanted to have require extra $ on top of the buffet price.
- Wagyu Beef was of bad quality, couldn’t chew at all!
- Marinated Chicken Thigh was mostly a direct cut off from supermarket chicken thigh and added a bit of salt and msg
- Cumin beef was too chewy as well, marination was only with too much cumin powder that made the dish bitter

Service | ★☆☆☆☆
Practically only 3 people managing the whole restaurant. Table sitting next to us was waiving at the waitress/waiter walking pass by and they just “didn’t see” them. Waited for 10min to place the order and the order was flying on the table when they arrived.

Price | ★★☆☆☆
- Buffet would be $39 per adult on Friday and weekends. It is a reasonable price tag but bare in mind, 1/3 of the items on menu require extra $$$
- We paid less than $90 for the whole meal, which is relatively reasonable comparing to other k-bbq, IF we ignore the quality of food.

Summary:
On behalf of myself, apologies for being over critical to other k-bbq that I wasn’t satisfied with. Apparently there is always worse and if you would still like to experience it after reading the whole comment, suggest retaining a receipt just in case.
