Bad service. Never again. I order bean with pork mince and it came out without pork mince. I ask the to redo it for me . They refuse and said will give you $1discount. Really! They said to me $1 discount is a lot for pork mince from his experience. This is Horrible.
Really bad service, food was served out of whack. Main came first before entree. Didn't serve the rice till you asked them again. Asked for refill of water and just didnt serve it anymore. Two dishes didnt come. Horrible experience, its such a pity. The waiter and the waitress only served certain type of people. Felt really DISCRIMINATED.
The quality and taste of the food were so disappointing, not as good as in the past. We ordered 3 dishes and unfortunately none of those were tasty at all. We even asked if we could recook one of the dishes because it was so tasteless.
When we check the bill, I told the waitress that I was very disappointed with the food today. The girl replied “so what do you want me to do?” in an arrogant and rude way.
This was the ever worst customer service I have received and I felt so offended. She just stared at me and didn’t even apologize. It is my right as a customer to tell you I’m not happy with your service. The girl didn’t ask why or didn’t try to take any advice, but just shut down the whole conversation and make me feel I’m the one to be blamed.
Again, will never come back or recommend to anyone. Especially that waitress at the counter, she is definitely not the right person in hospitality industry.

Was at this restaurant few weeks ago my meal was forgotten. Got it after asking many times. Last night the same. My husband got his meal with the fried rice. Two meals did not come out. Waited and waited asked waitress for meals, nothing. After awhile I very sternly asked for the two meals. Yes apologies. But what annoys me we are not Chinese and it seems that this
is what you have to be to get your meals. Two tables near us had plate after plate of food delivered to their tables. Twice being there and not getting food is enough for us there won't be a third time. Food is quite good though when you get it. GOOD LUCK IF YOU EVER GO THERE!!!!!

This place likes bookings but has space also for drop ins. The food is served in generous amounts, well flavoured and is what it advertised. Pricing is reasonably for the quality of food and service. We had the prawn and broccoli, fresh vege and plenty of large prawns (frozen), all 3 protein dishes were spicy. Two, beef and chicken were delicious. The third, a spicy fried chicken was ok. Service was really friendly and attentive. Bathrooms were poor.

The owner is always there, which might contribute to the consistency over the years.
The spicy 🌶️ 🥩 beef is by far one of the stand out dishes at this restaurant. It is good enough to share between 3 people with some rice as a good baseline staple dish. The greens are always good.
When you come here you can get some rice, spicy beef and a side of greens, leaving you with nothing but value…. or from there if you feel like spending more, you can get the duck (amazing) and crab 🦀 (amazing) and all of the other more ‘extravagant’ dishes.
Beers selection is good. Wine selection is good mate.
The atmosphere in Ba Guy Bu Yi isn’t some dark lit/ put all the effort into the fit out with a trendy website to go along with it kind of vibe… this is just straight up, authentic Chinese with a really nice flavorsome kick to it….
You will be hard pressed to find anything this good in South Australia.

Really good service and great food.
The food came very fast. As the table or plates got full or dirty (we ate the crabs using hands), they noticed it and come to clean the table and change the plates. Thank you for your great hospitality. We really enjoyed the meal😊
However, If the hygiene could be more considered, it would be better.
