Visited the place to try out some dosa. I was pleasantly surprised by the food variety on offer. Very courteous and polite staff. They ensured that my rava masala dosa perfectly crisp and nicely presented. Their filter coffee is really strong and nice. It has good amount of milk along with coffee. There is ample parking in the plaza. The restaurant is kid friendly and offers a good introduction to south Indian cuisine. The sambar was too salty and did not have the real flavours. It would be a good option to add some vegetables and curry leaves. They offer extra sambhar and chutney at no additional cost. Overall a good experience and excellent staff.

I’m thankful to Shiva’s staff for offering me chutney and extravagant Sambhar with their signature dosa. If it was not for their kindness to put so much chutney(see pictures) in my order, I’d have slept hungry tonight. PS. Extra Sambhar is worth every penny because it has gold and diamond flakes.

Wanted to try some Dosas and had heard good things about this place so went to try it out.
We ordered Medu Vada, you get 6 small vadas and a sambar and chutney. The vada seemed to lack salt and so did the sambar. The sambar that came with the vada didn't have any vegetables in it and tasted diluted.
We also ordered chicken 65 as a starter and it was decent.
We ordered Mysore Masala Dosa and Podi Masala Dosa. The Dosas were great and definitely the highlight of the visit. The Dosas by itself were very tasty and crispy enough. The masala was good too. The sambar was different than the one that came with the vada. It was sweeter and seemed to lack salt too.
The chutneys were good although the quantity was a lot less than expected.
Overall the Dosas were the star of the place and many of the other dishes seemed to have less salt. Not a problem with the chutneys and sambars as you can add as needed but not an option with the vadas.
The filter coffee seemed to be very milky as opposed to normal.
Would recommend the place for Dosas but other dishes left me wanting for more. Hard to give this place another try when other places have better options.
The service was good and pretty quick given how busy they were. The restaurant was busy when we visited and had to wait 15-20 mins to get a table.
Ample free parking available near the store.

Shivas is a newly opened Indian restaurant in the KW area that serves authentic food from the Southern parts of India.

We went to try the food here for Sunday dinner. The place was packed; they do have smaller seating area and we had to wait for about 15mins to get our table. The service here is quick. We tried their Medu Vadai; Chicken 65; Mysore Masala Dosa; Podi Masala Dosa & Filter Coffee.

They serve 6 medu vadai in a plate. The Vadai was hot but lacked some salt. The Chicken 65 was pretty good. And both the Dosas were crispy, fresh & very flavorful. The Mysore Masala was slightly better than the Podi Dosa. The filter coffee was okay - too milky.

But their Chutneys are really average, the red chutney they serve with the Dosa is terrible. The White coconut chutney is alright. Their Sambar isn't flavorful at all - they served sambar with Medu Vadai as well as Dosas. Both Sambar tasted different, 1 was a very thick consistency of lentils (barely any spice) and the other was thinner consistency but no flavor at all. Also, the quantity of sambar we got with the 2 dosas were very different - different size cups basically, but we didn't care too much as we didn't enjoy the taste of it anyway.

Overall, Dosas is likely the only thing I'd go back for but there are quite a few places that serve Dosas on-par.

We went their for dinner and had Masala Dosa, Paneer Dosa, Veg. Pakore, Sambhar idli and a few Non Veg food for our friends.
The service was quick and the staff was very polite but the food was average and have room for improvement. Specially the Dosas and the chutneys(Watery). Sambhar idli was also below average acc. to our experiences we had from other places.Pakoras were not pakoras and trust me i am a North Indian so i know what pakoras looks and taste like. In respect of non veg. Food our friends said that it was decent. Since, we came for dinner and it was our first time we l give them another chance soon. But for now i will give average ratings.

P.S ~ It is totally based on our experience ppl should also consider that South Indian food is made differently acc. to different states in South India. So you might like their style..!!

Excellent south Indian vegetarian food.we didn't try the dosa this time but will try is next time. Yes we will be back.
Prices are reasonable. Portions are good but not large.
Service was very fast and friendly and attentive as well.
It's small seating areas so would get full at busy times.

Spice level is pretty high so if you are sensitive to spice ask them in advance.

They didn't have thali which showed on Google reviews but not on their menu. Wish this was an option.

Amazing food and staff. Walked in for the first time this evening. Was greeted immediately and made to feel welcome. When they found out it was our first time and first experience with this specific cuisine, they took their time to explain and recommend items to try. We had pakoda, meahu vada and masala dosa. So delicious! They came to speak with us at the table and made us feel very welcome. The sink to wash up was an added benefit to dining in. We will definitely be back! You need to check them out!

We tried Mysore Masala Dosa, Poori masala and Kids Ghee roast and Paripu pradaman as a desert. To be honest, loved all the food and is truly the authentic south Indian dish. The south Indian coffee served in steel cup and saucer was purely delicious and nostalgic. Its worth to go again to have this coffee alone. However I feel the cuisines are a bit expensive. Need to appreciate the service also. They are cool and friendly and was keen to serve the food neatly and timely. A special mention to the kids Ghee roast which my daughter enjoyed a lot.
