You know me I love to eat and I've ate at almost every place in town. This isn't my first rodeo. I heard good things about this place so I went to try it. Owner was dry and not friendly AT ALL! He had a "I don't care vibe/attitude". Our server was non existent and was definitely more concerned with his new 5 top of rich looking people. He put our food down and left like a Denny's server. Never came back for refills, never gave me crackers with my soup, never gave me lemons with our oysters just didn't care. The oysters were definitely over cooked and shriveled up dry. $27 for over cooked baked oysters! My chowder was decent but was basically a small cup of soup in a flat bowl. The fish sandwich was very good but super small and cost me $18. This place is not it!!! There are so many better seafood places to eat in Sarasota especially for that price. The food and people alone are reason enough not eat here on top of their prices. Walt's Fish Market, Owen's fish Camp, Capt. Curts, Tripletail in the landings even Monk's steamer bar is better than this place. Super disappointed

This restaurant is a hidden gem of Sarasota. The food was phenomenal and the service was on point. The stone crab chowder was to die for and the tropical salsa on the tacos and snapper wrap was delicious. The seafood was extremely fresh and cooked perfectly. This restaurant is a must go to if you love good seafood.

Come for the fish & portion size. You will be surprised at great prices. Clean & cozy place. Look at the size of these fish tacos!!

First time here I had a buttered lobster roll with cole slaw. They also have quite the selection in their seafood market. One stop shopping, grab a bite to eat then order fresh fish to go.How can you go wrong, definitely recommend checking it out.

Ate here twice on my vacation. The grouper tacos with tropical salsa are amazing. I didn't even eat fish until this trip. I would eat here anytime I came to visit. The Keylime pie was also amazing. We had a wonderful waitress Vanessa. This place is awesome. The Fish Stew was also really good!

Wow! We had one of the best meals here that I've had in Sarasota. The steamed clams were delicious, the fish is super fresh and cooked to perfection, the tropical salsa was on point, the veggies were crisp (green beans were cooked perfectly), and the key lime pie is to die for. They have a super selection of beers, including local brews. And not everything is fried! Or maybe nothing is, which is awesome. Our waitress was informative and delightful. It was marvelous! Thank you.

Highly Recommend: this place is solid good. You can pick any fish to be cooked from the display or get the stone crab. Blackened tripletail was really good. The service was great as well. The sides - potatoes were really good, however Spanish rice can be skipped, I did not enjoy it.

The place is not really big so for dinner, we came pretty early at 4, but by 430 it was filling up pretty quick. If coming at 5 or after maybe plan to make a reservation, or you may be seated by the bar.

Would definitely stop here again.
