Biryani House Hoppers Crossing

I would give zero stars if there was an option!
PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. There are many places out west that do good biriyani, these guys tend to mix plain rice and almost no masala and they call it biriyani!

I'm not sure how these guys are getting good reviews even though there are mixed reviews, which jusr goes to shows how inconsistent they are.
They are called biriyani house SO the 1 thing they should get right is biriyani! They are ripping people off and its has happened now a few times that I had to put a review!

DO NOT EAT FROM HERE - go to Jannat.

Biryani is absolutely shocking, it is basically just plain rice with few bits of meat. Please go to other places like Jannat nearby.

When complained about the biryani (given we had purchased the family pack $60) the staff there argued with us and simply said sorry about it. We said that's not good enough, we were told the restaurant is busy and they kept hanging up on us whilst we were trying to speak to them. We wasted so much of our time and effort and they simply didn't care, infact we were told they can't replace the biriyani at their expenses! We asked what about our hard earnt money and time and we ordered for a special occasion and didn't end up eating it! They then said sorry and hung up! Absolutely shocking!

The biryani is very good sometimes lamb shank is superb and sometimes it’s very bad in taste. Tried having tandoori chicken last week and it was not upto the mark. Sometimes they make ultra nice food and sometimes I don’t like the taste. And they bring everything at the same time would recommend getting starters first and then the main course that makes lots of sense. The vibes are different here.

I just stay 2 street away, and this is my fav spot. I am in just love with their Biryani. I must say their Rice is excellent. Its just top quality. I am madly in love with their Rice and their taste of Biryani

Biryani used to be of good quality in the past but not anymore. We have been noticing consistently in the last 3 orders their chicken biryani and chicken 65 are of poor quality. It's either uncooked sometimes or not fresh chicken.We noticed bad smell from their chicken and ended up throwing into the bin. At another time one of our kid got stomach bug after having their biryani.
Chicken 65 is probably fried in the same oil for very long time as the smell wasn't right.

I hope they fix these issues and focus on quality.

Tried their Hyderabadi dum biryani, great taste, the price and quantity both are very reasonable. This shop is next to Madina halal meat in Hoppers crossing. Very nice customer service and presentation of the restaurant. The food is halal.

Nice variety of Indian food.
Prices are very handy.
