Harbour Car Park

Small car park but if you can get in close to the little sheds selling their produce and of course the harbour

The car park is in an excellent location by the harbour and it's often possible to find a space despite its small size. This is because you're limited to 2 hours of parking with no returns. So no one is parking here all day but you've got enough time to wander around the harbour and have lunch. Paying with the Ringo app was straightforward and useful as you know how much time you have left.

I recently visited the Whitstable Harbour car park and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was it easy to find a parking space, but I was also able to pay with the Ringo app, which made the whole process a breeze. The location is also fantastic - just a short walk away from the beautiful seaside and the town center. In fact, I would go so far as to say that this is my favorite parking spot in all of Whitstable! Whether you're looking to take a leisurely stroll along the coastline or do some shopping in the town, this car park has got you covered. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Good location, could only do two hours no extensions? Was out of season and the carpark not full.
Came back to collect car by a few minutes only to find two sneaky agents ready and waiting to ticket me if I was late.

Lovely place for a wander or on the beach.

Total disaster when trying to pay. Became stressed by the complicated process. If you have coins ok, you can chose how long. Credit cards only through Ringo app. Numbers on keypad worn out and invisible (needed for car plate number).
And totally overpriced…
Come on Whitstable Council, extract digit(s)!

Ideal for town browse, highly recommend 'Ship Shape' cafe/restaurant in the arches. The ladies running it are lovely, friendly, helpful. If you can dine outside the harbour views are the finest
