Great staff, cool relaxing vibe, talented stylists.
Angie did my hair exactly the way I wanted. I can’t speak highly enough of her. She’s the definition of perfection when it comes to coloring and haircutting. Strongly recommend!!!

Called the salon for a guest at the hotel I work for and the person I spoke to was rude and unhelpful. They clearly do not want any business from people willing to pay for service. I called to inquire for appointment times, introduced myself and was told "Have them call on their own", then the person proceeded to hang up on me. As appalled as I was I called back to make sure he was not kidding. I called back and said I am not sure if you realized that you hung up on me but I am trying to get availability for a guest. The same guy on the phone answered and said "we have nothing" and hung up on me again. In my years of working in hotels and working with small business's in the local area I have never experienced such ungrateful and rude behavior from a local business. I will make sure that everyone knows in the industry to not send people here. If you want horrible customer service pursue calling them at your own risk. If you treat me this way, this is how I am sure you treat clients or anyone else that comes through to this establishment or calls.

Love my haircut the hair stylist Ayumi did! I’ve been getting my hair done by her for years but she is a top notch stylist. The salon inside is so cool and everybody there is friendly and very cute!
Usually I take time to actually start liking my new hair cut, but for the first time in 29 years I was completely in love with the results! Ayumi is an artist and I mean it! She did an incredible job and really understood whatever my idea was. I now have an official hair stylist, I’m never going anywhere else again. If this seems overpriced to you, believe me - it’s worth it! I’d give 10 stars if I could.
Had a lovely hair trim & Japanese hair treatment! My partner treated me to a gift card and I was very happy with the end result! The location is beautiful and has great helpful caring staff! Thank you! I will be back.
I've been to Mudhoney a few times since my bff goes here. I've had my hair done by Jenny a few times. Most recently, I decided to bleach and tone my hair (black Asian thick hair) - and I cannot be more than happy with the results. Even my barber has commented on how awesome the color is. I initially went from just trying out the new color to deciding to keep it for a few months. Everyone in the salon is super friendly, and the place is definitely a NYC gem. Just a heads up this place is cash only.
