Truely the best kebab in AU so far (for me). Nice seasoned, big portions, real authentic Turkish food! Ordered Adana (lamb on flat bread with salad and eggplant dip) 10/10 tasty juicy full of flavour, the eggplant dip complete the dish! Second course classic döner kebab wrap - $10 and you will get huge rollo packed of meat. For me could be little bit more sauce but this was the best value for money! South Australian kebab shops should come here to learn how to make proper kebab!!!! Highly recommended definitely when back to Melbourne will visit again!!!

Mixed iskender. Perfect mix of meat sauce and bread. Box packed full or meat. Just enough bread to soak up every bit of delicious juice that drips down to the bottom. This place was packed at 3pm with a short 10min wait time whish is definitely worth it. Best Iskender I have had in a long time!

If you are after real Turkish cuisines this is the place. The tastes are exactly as if you eat in a restaurant in Istanbul or even better. Hopefully they will expand their business to a more spacious place. We tried Iskender Kebab and Adana Kebab with generously large portions and both were finger licking tasteful. Will come back again soon.

I feel like I've been lied to about kebabs my whole life after eating my first at Katik.
It was a 45 minute drive across town for us, after seeing it on socials.
We'll be back as often as we can. It's just incredible... and so cheap. Fresh. Amazing.

I have been to many kebab shops in Melbourne, however I can assure that is the best kebab shop overall.
It has the best price, yummy taste and huge quantity.
In $10 kebab wrap, 1 adult dinner can be done.
Just be prepared to wait for 15 mins or so on weekends evenings.

I heard this place was good, and when I saw those curtains flapping over the doors; I knew it was going to be legit.
I found this place on YouTube, but not how you think. This was the kebab shop that everyone said, "I can't believe you never visited Katik." After someone attempted to visit Melbourne's best kebab shops. I'm not a YouTuber or an influencer. I just love ethnic food and banging coffee.
We were in a bit of a rush, so I didn't take much video footage, unfortunately. We just wanted to dine in and smash the food. I ordered the adana plate, and my friend ordered the mixed plate.
The food was cooked fresh, the mixed plate was quality döner meat and chicken, really tasty. I had never had an adana. It was something completely new to me. It was lamby, meaty, savoury, with capsicum flakes and other spices. The juices soaked into the bread, and it was honestly really delicious. The meat was good alone, but when those juices soak into the break and you wrap it up, it's absolutely banging. Salads were fresh, the sides were tasty, and the star was the adana, though. It's totally new to me and very, very enjoyable.
We sat outside, classic suburb action. Takeaway chairs, trains, and locals being nice to us. I can't wait to come back.

Amazing adana, very nice and delicious, highly recommend, however keep in mind that they can get very busy and waiting times could be long.
Decent tables to eat in, but it can be loud.
