We visited a few different places before making the decision to move my mother to Parker at Monroe. It was the right thing to do. Since moving mom I have been able to sleep at night knowing that she is being so well taken care of. I can't say enough wonderful things about everyone on the staff - from the nurses, to the amazing recreation people, to the chef and other caregivers. Caring is what they are and it shows.

Mom was there for three years which were during covid. they made her transfer out to a behavioral facility where about One week she passed. I was disappointed she could not spend her end of life at parker. I got no condolences from anyone at parker except Taylor. unfortunately It's a business. I felt let down.while she was there she was on tons of different antipsychotic drugs which I didn't approve of. They added to her confusion and probably helped kill her. A terrible place. Stay away from Nursing homes at all costs. no one should have to go through this. I was told she had to go on them or leave. I had very little choices. you're told what will be done. Keep your loved ones home as long as possible.

My mom is 97 and has been at Parker for 1year and our family feels its a top notch facility. I am a retired Social Worker that worked in aging residences for many years snd I have to say that Parker does s wonderful job at caring for my mom and keeping her active. Thank youšto their devoted staff.

Parker at Monroe has been truly a blessing for my mom! The staff is beyond wonderful and caring- I know my mom is very happy and well taken care of. I recommend Parker highly!

My Brother and I were looking for a facility with full nursing and Memory care for our Father.
From my first contact with staff, I was extremely confident that this facility was going to be our first choice. The process was made very easy .
Our Dad is now a resident and we couldn't be more satisfied .The facility staff have been so attentive to our Dad's on going needs.
And we are confident he is getting the best of care.

My experience is of 2 kindsāwitnessed and contrasted. Years ago, my great Uncle, Judge Klemmer Kalteissen spent his final years happily on Landing Lane. I witnessed the dignity and respect with which he was treated, and the personalization with which he was regarded. Years later, his wife, my Aunt Mildred Kalteissen spent her final years across the river where I noticed there was no diminution of dignity when she became less able to think clearly. Fast forward to the next generation, and my fatherāwho sadly in his old age lacked the charm and kindness of his earlier years, but he worshipped his Uncle Klemmer (Dad was once his law clerk!) he only wanted to get back to eLanding Lane. Dad had problems he could keep hidden during his professional years, but eluded him later. Iām embarrassed that his anger and resentment sometimes lashed out against the most competent, compassionate, and skilled nurses Iāve known. Still they continued to speak to him as an adult with a god-given right to compassionate care. Now my generation...the failure. Iām embarrassed so that I lived like an aging flower child, āprofessional volunteerā until I became a teaching professor at Rutgers. Now I find myself in a Nursing Home (NOT PARKER!) where I see whatās left when you take the goodness, compassion, competence, the HEART and the SCIENCE Parker perfected. Itās all the difference I the world. If you can swing it, do it.

Very friendly staff. I love the detail and quality of care.
