It feels like Virginia Department of Veterans Services representative is working for the Veteran Affairs instead of advocating for veterans. The man argues with me when I asked him to make an appeal and he sided with the VA without making efforts to hear my evidence. I had bad experience reaching out to this office. Try American legion or just hire a lawyer who deals with Veteran Affairs claims.

I went to the Dept. of Veterans Affaires today for the first time. The man who helped me was Ed Robles. He was very friendly and helped me with my situation. He was very knowledgeable about how to handle my business. I recommend him very highly.

I haven't had much luck with them. I went to them for my first claim and at the time they were still mailing in everything via a paper application while everyone else was uploading them via Ebenefits. I seemed to know more than them.

I went here to gain help developing my VA claim and the experience was horrible. They were of NO help. They didn't seem to even understand the process which caused me to miss a critical deadline for paperwork submission as if dealing with the VA isn't difficult enough

Just called went right to VM. Message claimed will return your message in 1 to 2 business days. cant leave a message because mailbox is full.
