Certainly disapponting.
The website is not funtioning right. And when calling, you get a rather long full on message in Arabic! and if you are patient enough to wait until the end of that, it says: now for English, press 1!!!!
But none of the other options after that works! and then the call drops.
Certainly well below any form of standard an embassy should be held at! and not a good representation for the country for sure

Went to the embassy with no faith at all after reading some reviews in here. Visa was for traveling the next day as before attempts were rejected for minor things. Was amazed the girl collecting the passport was ok with us dropping-off the passport and collecting it the same day after 2:30pm. However the reason because we showed them evidence that we were traveling the next day. Everyone else was to collect after 3 days. Thank you Egypt Embassy, though l should say traveling with a non-EU passport is a nightmare.

Worse country and place to visit for visa, we applied 3 months in advance and got no update which means we lost the holiday and the money paid AND EVEN NOW WE HAVE NO UPDATE STILL. The staff is rude and not helpful plus very racist to black people. They treated my partner with disrespect because of his passport and colour. They should be ashamed of themselves and some proper investigation should be look into consider so many people have same problems. I wish I could rate it less then 1 star!!! SHAME ON THE THE EMBASSY STAFF FOR WASTING PEOPLES HARD EARNED MONEY, TIME, ENERGY AND HOLIDAY.

The worst service I have seen here in London. The staff is just wasting the Govt resources. We applied visa 2.5 months back and still no update. Find some other country to visit instead you waste your time on waiting.

Once again great service from the tourist visa section . I have been going to Egypt every year for about 15 years and never wait more than a week until it’s returned to me by mail . Thank you Egyptian Consulate for your first class service

Don't waste your money to go egypt. Go elsewhere there visa process so fast. My wife got a non British passport, and her visa taking 3 months to get the decision. I am sure everyone booked holiday 1st as to get better deals. But with egypt, apply visa 1st. if egypt- don't relax, the visa system they will lose tourist
