Maddox Theatre

First time there and seen "The Music Man" the Kids put on a fantastic show
Felt like I was watching it on TV

This a very nice theater and the seats are quite comfortable. The location can be a little difficult for folks who have difficulty walking. It can be a decently long walk, and could be uphill, depending on which parking lot you use. We have attended several plays in this theater and have enjoyed it each time.

Beautiful theatre and very nice staff. The show was really fun to watch. My kids ages 3 to 12 all enjoyed the experience.

The theater space itself is rather run down. The seats have lost their softness. The lighting fixtures are 40 plus years old. There isn't much new technology in the space. However, the college makes do with what it has. Is the acting is usually top notch. And the staging is always very well done.

Great mid sized theater. A bit hard to find but once you're there you'll enjoy the clean and well maintained theater. The seats are comfortable. The concession is affordable. The kids plays are top notch. I was expecting a 3rd grade production and was treated to a high school of the arts level.

Pro: The theater is lovely. Nice Theater (stadium) seating. The seating allows for unencumbered viewing. Decorative hallways are lined with exquisite costumes and photos of past Drama Performances.

Con: The bathrooms for the theater have very slippery floors when wet. Parking for an event can be trickey, we had to park on the grass, while normally is not a big deal but the rain made the ground squishy

Over all this experience was very satisfying. I more than happy to attend additional shows.

Excellent local small theater group. Varied productions. Throughout fall, winter, spring.
