Great friendly staff...a very good cultural experience. Wish the restaurant was open when we went...and that the gift shop would sell more affordable souvenirs for visitors to bring home/share with others.

Visit this place if you are looking for peace and quiet. Beautiful outdoor spaces, lovely cafeteria, amazing museum, historic potteries, valuable and rare authentic hand written science, medicine, astronomy, poetry books of Islamic civilization since about 1000 years ago. Amazing location.

A beautiful park. Fields are fairly open with short trees or bushes. Lined with smaller white rocks and a fountain in-between the museum and the centre, this park is a nice visit and decent for a picnic.

No tables or benches however. There is little shade.

This park is absolutely beautiful and worth the visit even if you don't visit the museum. The grounds are well managed which makes them pristine and beautiful.
I absolutely loved this museum. Although the collection is relatively small for such a large space, it is very well curated. The Hidden Stories, Silk Road exhibition was very good. Well worth the trip to the museum.

Although the location of the museum is off the beaten path, it is easy to get to (just off of Eglinton and the DVP), I am unsure how easy it would be to access on public transit.

That being said, take your time and read about the role of Islam through the centuries. Many lovely pieces including decorative arts, rugs and scripture/books in the collection.

This is a hidden gem in the city of Toronto.

Beautiful and peaceful park with amazing view in evening. They have a nice walking trail. Fountains infront of museum area were amazing at night.

The parking area is wide. Park is free to visit.

I love this place and how it has a unique beautiful vibe, people come here for walk, meetup and photoshoots. There’s plenty of space for different outdoor activities for public free of charge. You need permit if you want to bring professional lightening equipment to take photos and it’s quite expensive to shoot inside the museum, which people do for weeding and special occasions. This place was the life of Wynford area before the pandemic, there was events and fun programs every week and the museum was open to public for free ones every summer..
