Steinway St

Steinway st from Northern Blvd to Astoria Blvd there are lots of different businesses, example - furniture, electronics, clothes, Arabian restaurant and grocery, theater and many more.

I find this station a quiet and cool station. Sometimes hot, but useful in the winter. It's your typical NYC local station with elevators coming soon!

Gets to warm in summer but I does it’s job

It's a nice old station with considerable bus lines overhead.

The station of the NYC subway station runs along the M and R train linein Queens. There is very unfortunately no elevators or escalators There is also no public restroom .

The station is in a good neighborhood in Astoria. There are several nice bars and restaurants in the block the Station is on. The Museum of the Moving Image is about a 5 minute walk.

Especially for late night trips, its good to check the MTA site to see if there are major delays.

Like the other local stop train stations running along the M and R train in Queens: no elevator/escalator for wheelchair riders or mothers with baby strollers. No public restroom for the straphangers. Night time sees more delays.

Always check the planned service changes especially on the weekends. I've often found a train I wasn't expecting here rolls in and I nearly board the wrong one absentmindedly.
