Disappointing they couldn’t make more of this. Golf course took over the land over the old sand mine I guess so this is just a random park w 3 parking spaces and that’s worth a 5min visit, one time. Shame it wasn’t done better

Very small park like setting that commemorates the sand mining operations and the men who worked there.

This is not a park. Is a place with 3 benches.

Worth stopping for. An interesting surprise. Small, informative tribute to the workers who were responsible for mining the sand that went into the building of NYC.

Nice little park with small parking pull off next to golf course. Detailed, interesting historical info and an inspiring monument. Spend 10-15 minutes.
