A neighbourhood classic for cheap and delicious Chinese dessert. Decent quality desserts and they are always served quickly. Unfortunately if you come later in the day, you’d find many menu items crossed off. Have been here numerous times where this has happened. During summer they have seasonal mango dessert options which are my favourite.

For dine in, seating can be a bit uncomfortable ie. seats here are more like a stool, and with no hangers on walls, during winter/fall patrons tend to sit with their jackets on.

I visited on a Friday evening, and the overall experience left much to be desired. The wait time was about 15 minutes, which was reasonable. However, one of the wait staff had a rude attitude, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. When inquiring about the papaya dessert's liquid options, I faced communication issues due to a thick accent. Despite attempts to clarify, the server responded by raising their voice, adding to the frustration. In the end, I opted for milk, uncertain about the alternative.

Disappointingly, several menu items, including soups and peanut ball desserts, were sold out, limiting my choices. This experience overshadowed the potential enjoyment of the meal. Improved communication and better availability of menu items could enhance customer satisfaction.

The dessert is great and delicious. However, it is sad the steamed egg white and milk is sold out so early. Service is not very good

I used to hear good things about this place, and even when we went that night, we had to wait a good 10-15 mins outside in the parking lot. So it must be amazing, right?
No.

For starters, their main staff that gives you your number is full of attitude. They also only speak mandarin to you, even when they call your number in the parking lot so you better know what 20 is in mandarin or your table will be passed onto the next group. When we were paying our bill, we changed to 1 bill after we were told there was a cash discount, and wow did I get the deepest eye roll.
Ok, onto the dessert. Doesn’t help with no pictures for those that can’t read Chinese.
That aside, the dessert was sub-par. The most disappointing was their sesame dumplings. There’s barely any filling inside. My grocery store bought frozen ones are 10x better. So so disappointing.
Sadly to say we will not be returning.

Come here for a dose of fast-paced Asian hustle. Tasty desserts and quick service.

Grab a paper menu while you queue up for your number and pick what you want so you can order as soon as you are seated.

Things move quick here so don’t venture far away or you’ll miss your table.

Mix of Cantonese and Mandarin and some level of unknown English spoken by staff here. Cash or Debit only - absolutely no credit cards accepted.

We always go to this Chinese dessert place whenever we are in Toronto. It is authentic, the service is fast and everything us delicious. We do not have Chinese desserts in our area so it’s a must for us to come here. My favoris one is the mango sago.

Sometimes very busy but worth the wait. Love their desserts, so delicious. Perfect sweetness and amazing texture & taste. Available for take out, would recommend all the steamed milk egg puddings (love the feng huang nai/in country style) along with the taro sago 🫡
