READ PLEASE! ZERO STARS!! DO NOT GO HERE! I would give zero stars.
We came on Sept 30, 2023 at 8pm. We specifically told the waiter that we do not eat beef and we were given beef. So instead of the lamb swarma (which has beef) we changed to chicken.

Then when we got our plate. My husband had the little ball (fritter) which was mainly beef ( we did not know it had beef). He ate it and then swallowed without knowing.

I know what beef looks like based on my experience so I told the waiter what it was and he said “yeah, it’s beef.“

I complained to him and brushed it off like it was nothing. I then told the manager and he said “oh there must have been a miscommunication”.

Then some other guy came and he offered us a cheese roll to apologize.

Like seriously? A piece of bread. My husband is a Hindu and they do not eat beef. We told the waiter many times that we do not eat beef. So we trusted that he would not bring us beef, but I was wrong. He brought us beef.

I understand that it is a Mediterranean restaurant where beef if served but if customer says that they do not want beef in their food then do not bring it to the table. That is ridiculous.

Now my husband is dealing with the guilt because your restaurant doesn’t care about people’s wishes.

We never asked them to reduce the bill or give us something for the damage done. But the fact that their actions showed that they literally don’t care. We still paid full price ($90) because we just wanted to get the heck out of there instead of arguing with uneducated people.

Never going back. And never taking my friends or family there.

I took a picture as the display was nice before we ate but you can see those brown beef fritters sitting on top of our food which my husband ate. We specifically asked for NO beef and there is the proof that beef was given to us.

Horrible horrible horrible. Disgusting and soulless people working there.

It was a great experience, amazing food, and caring staff. We met a waiter there who had to be recognized publicly. Judy was her name, and she was phenomenal. She was hospitable, caring, and knowledgeable. And she just had this friendly demeanor about her that made us all happy. By the end of our dinner, everyone agreed that she is one of the best waiters we've dealt with. La Mill is highly recommended.

There's a common Middle Eastern belief that food is a celebration of life. Well, La Mill (35 Brunel Rd, Mississauga, ON L4Z 3E8) definitely knows how to celebrate life to the fullest, with a wide selection of mezza (Middle Eastern appetizers), salads, entrees, and wraps! With a spacious lounge, outdoor dining area, and wonderful service, this has been my favorite place for Middle Eastern cuisine for a while now!

The last time I went there, I ordered a platter of grilled halloumi cheese and a chicken shawarma that came with a side of fries. The halloumi cheese, with a firm but stretchy texture, was coated with a beautiful golden-brown crust, while the inside was soft and creamy. An utterly delicious contrast, the platter was a heavenly harmony of savory flavors, making it a true culinary delight. The chicken shawarma made the meal even better - with tender strips of chicken slow-roasted to absorb the fragrant spices wrapped in a warm, fluffy pita bread, the wrap has an *incredible umami flavor! With a side of fries, the meal was wholesome and fulfilling, but still left me wanting more!

I've long thought of Mississauga as the perfect place to commence a food tour. If you have a similar idea and want a Middle Eastern place to finish your tour, I would highly recommend La Mill! Shisha flavors, Arabic and Indian dishes, and delicious drinks - you'll definitely find something to your liking here! Warmly recommended!

Amazing food, mouth-watering presentation, and every bite was a delightful blend of fresh tastes. The owner, Meena, was such a kind and welcoming addition to our experience. We will definitely be coming again. ♥️

This place is so so so good! The waiters are so welcoming and sweet. The owner is also so kind.

Cozy atmosphere to be in with friends or family. Beware of hookah as it’s done both inside and outside. Not the most aesthetically pleasing, but its unique and I like it.

FOOD IS PHENOMENAL. So good, and for the price you’re really getting a bang for your buck. Meat is seasoned perfectly, juicy and tender. Rice is perfectly cooked, and humus is done to perfection.

Given the price and how many people could eat from it ($74.99 and 6 people could comfortably share it) it’s amazing. Do try!! 9.7/10

I was confused when I got to the place because it was called shisha king cafe on google, but when we got there there the place was called La Mill. Google maps may have registered 2 different names.

Upon the first look of the place, it has a very non-welcoming entrance. A small wooden door divides the restaurant into indoor and outdoor seating.

The Outdoor seating can get cold (also I visited this place during the winter). We made sure to sit right under the heater.

We ordered Lady killer sheesha, mixed grill, hummus, labneh and shawarma meal.

Hummus was pretty average. I have had better. The Mixed grill and Shawarma were very good and delicious. Their French fries were really good… crispy. I believe they are the Costco fries.

Overall a decent place.

One of the best Mediterranean food I have ever had. Excellent customer service was provided by the server. The food was very delicious and unique food presentation. All my family members like the food. Dessert was also amazing.

The restaurant has indoor and outdoor dining in that I feel is great, especially for bigger groups. Furthermore, the restaurant is located near the 401 entry and exists. Lastly, the restaurant is located in a plaza that has a big parking space. For sure I go there again and again. Highly recommended. Enjoy
