I have the best experience with the officer. So patient and so helpful. 5 star service. Help me to get my Emergency Travel Document on the same day

Literally called them 5 times only to have someone say "This is the Malaysian Consulate please hold" and every call I was on hold for atleast 20 Mims and then the line cuts!! What is it so difficult to pick up the phone???

Great service . Called few times to ask for some help and they are always being very professional and helpful . Passport received within a month , great team and thankful for their service .

Staff here are professional and efficient (quite the opposite of the stigma that the general public has of government employees). Staff are courteous and would help you in any possible way that they are able to. Proud to be Malaysian!

Maybe this wasn't the place to ask my travel questions?
Felt unappreciative as I called the front desk. I provided my name and kindly asked who I'm speaking with only to get a response of "this is the front desk" Didn't want to think of it so...

I then proceeded to ask my question about Covid-19 regulations and what would I need to prepare before my travels. The front desk wasn't very enthusiastic and gave me that "well you need to contact the airlines" Me being unsure with all these regulations still asking her if this is the right place to even ask these questions. Then the front desk replied "if you have any inquires, then just give us an email" then why am I on the phone with you? I got the feeling she was being rushed.. I felt rushed.. I just want to know whether there is restrictions/more I need to do other than be vaccinated/does layover from certain countries affect the quarantine in Malaysia.

Kind of upset how I began this phone call with the same unsureness and confusion when hanging up. Who is this person and how is she the first contact of Consulate General of Malaysia..

emotionally. I'm more hurt than unsatisfied and confused in how this was treated. It's not like its busy at the moment - Hope the front desk lady doesn't treat everyone like this.

I did not go in person because of COVID restrictions, so I had written to the embassy instead. They were very helpful with my questions, and answered speedily. I feel embarrassed that I had written in English, but not once I felt judge or shamed. Great experience!

I and my family would like to say thank you very much to the staff in the Consulate General of Malaysia. Their efficiency, helpful, professionalism and friendliness meant a lot to us, they deserved more that five stars but a truly respect from us. My sister told me she felt so homey the moment she saw you both, you make us proud to be Malaysian.
