4ft seas are not easy. Sea sickness was abound on our journey. The staff were super helpful trying to keep everyone comfortable and offering all sorts of solutions to sea sickness. We did see five whales on the trip, two breached, but we missed it unfortunately. I'd recommend going in this again, but take a look at the marine forecast a day or two before you plan on going. Anything over 2ft seas will likely bring on area sickness. Take your area sickness meds!

Whilst on holiday at my brothers house in Waltham, he and his wife took me to 7 seas whale watch. We got there early and that’s my advice to others and got a seat at the front. The naturalist was explaining all about the harbour and points of interest as we left and told us that we should see at least a couple of whales and maybe some dolphins if we were lucky. She explained the they see dolphins about 10% of the time. It only seemed about half an hour before we sighted a pod of dolphins and I felt very lucky. We stayed for about 20 minutes with that pod but had to set out again as our aim was to see whales, obviously. Well weren’t we in for a treat. We came upon, what the naturalist told us was a rare sight. About 300 dolphins, if not more and they were with two fully grown humpback whales, one of which had a calf with her. The whales were called Venom, 3.142 and another I forget but was maybe tribar. Quite literally it was was magical, fabulous and all the other descriptions rolled into one. After maybe three quarters of an hour a forth whale arrived and this seemed to split the fun up and all made their way off and we travelled back to port. This was definitely a bucket list event but had not been on my list so I’m so pleased I did it. Lastly just to cover, the boat was clean and looked well maintained, it didn’t give me or anyone I saw any feeling of seasickness, I never felt anything other than completely safe, the crew were great, very informative and polite. I bought some snacks, served by a lovely young lady, who had just started watching F1 and noticed my Aston Martin t-shirt…..keep watching girl😁. Overall a tremendous experience and I would recommend it to anyone

My time with 7 Seas Whale Watch was fantastic. Even though I had to change my original date, they easily rescheduled me for the next day. Since I was alone, it might have been simpler for them to adjust the plans.

Remember, it takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes to travel from downtown Boston using public transit.

The guides were awesome! The main speaker, a lady, spoke loudly, clearly, and was very understanding. The captain was also incredible. We were lucky to witness two mother whales with their calves. On our trip back, we even saw dolphins. Every day is unique, but this was our experience! It was really cool.

I am undecided if this was #1 in my whale 🐳 watching experiences! The tour I took in Kennebunkport was just as good at seeing whales but I got to see 🙈 so much more!
The captain on this tour took the boat 🚢 out 28 miles to find a pod of whales that were active. Every passenger was enjoying seeing the humpback and minke whales that were feasting on fish 🐟. When one went under, another would breach the surface. Names such as Etcha-Sketch and Dot Dash were given to the whales. There was a mother humpback with her calf.
There are multiple exhibits on the boat and at the main building. It was interesting to see bones and teeth.
Service was very good! The food they offer is just the basics, snacks, soda, beer, 🥪 sandwiches, ect. There is a $10 minimum on the use of credit/debit cards. I just had a turkey and cheese 🧀 with a coffee. I believe they offer over the counter medicine such as Dramamine.
There is a parking 🅿️ lot in front of the business and it is very affordable. I recommend you arrive early for a parking spot.
I highly recommend this whale watching company!

This was the highlight of our vacation!! Saw 9-10 whales while out on the water! One even jumped out of the water which doesn't happen often.

The tour guide was great and she kept us entertained throughout the trip. You could sense her genuine love of the water and animals. This is an experience you don't want to miss! They went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable time.
