Beautiful and peaceful

Amazing views! And quite a private little spot. I find it tragic though that the township now requires permits (upon threat of $90.00 fine per 3 hours of use) for you to park at this "public" beach. Especially because all the very wealthy houses along the street have their own private water access. Who's going to want to use it other than visitors traveling through? It's sad that you have to be rich to enjoy water access in a location with the most fresh water on earth. The beach is small, but nice and has one picnic table. The water is very hard to swim in however as it's shallow and extremely rocky for quite a ways out.

Beautiful waterfront park immediately north of Awenda Provincial Park. Unfortunately, the township has removed the picnic tables that used to be here. Parking is restricted, so I had to leave shortly after I arrived/after I took some photos for Maps, but it's not a private or residents-only park. There is a small creek draining into Georgian Bay on the east side of the property; has a sandy beach area with good views of Giant's Tomb Island in the distance. Treed perimeter; line of trees separates the beach from the open field portion of the park.
