I hate to leave this review because my experience with the providers has been nothing but fantastic. I see Christina, who provides amazing patient care and who I definitely recommend.
This one star review is intended for the MD that has to prescribe the controlled substances. The system in place is to send all prescriptions at the end of the day however in my experience this is frequently missed. So, if he doesn’t send it that evening then you have to wait until the next evening for him to send the prescription. This is incredibly frustrating especially when you are out of your medication that helps you function daily.
When I call the front desk and ask them to send a message to him to send the prescription, they tell me there is no way to do this. I work in healthcare and every EMR system has the ability to send a message to the provider for urgent or immediate requests OR someone on staff has the providers number to text or call them.
Such a terrible system that needs to fixed. There should be set times throughout the day that the MD sends the prescriptions to provide better patient care.

I echo all previous reviews in regard to the front office staff running off patients. Overt disregard to their patients and general failure of job duties, following up, calling in prescriptions, condescending manner, lack of communication and so on. Customer service representatives eliminating your existing customers doesn’t seem the best method to run a business.

Will force you to make appointments every month over and over just to keep refilling a prescription (a non addictive SSRI I might add). These guys will milk every single penny you have with co pays, mine is $25. $25 monthly in order to keep refilling my MEDICATION. If you miss an appointment, good luck! No meds for you until they reschedule it (they're typically booked a week out). Not only did they refuse to refill my prescription for my well being, they clearly have shown they do not care about their patients or their mental struggles. They're closed for over a week for Christmas and New Years! Last time I checked most places are off on the 24th and 25th like usual. I have never heard of an entire office that works in psychiatry and the mental well being of ACTUAL HUMANS take off over a week for Holidays. You guys have patients to tend to, some of which NEED medication to function like normal adults. How are they supposed to live normal lives if the person who prescribes their medication is out of the office. Not a single person is there to help you either. Just do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. I have a new doctor who is great and doesn't make me have follow ups every two seconds to keep refilling scripts. They told me it was because of my insurance, new doctor said they were full of it. It's ridiculous to me that they can refuse to refill your meds if you miss a follow up appointment. It is incredibly demeaning and I can not understand how someone who works in this field does not see what is wrong with that.

The office manager is running off clients. He is verbally abusive and refused to let my family member reschedule. The office ALWAYS called the day of the appointment to remind of the meeting. The patient has ADHD and forgets...DUH! He did not do the call the day of, and his excuse was it was a courtesy and too bad. He charged double the co-pay and refused to reschedule the appointment. He said there is no one to complain to because he is the manager and his word is the final say so. Sophie Krchmar is great, but stay away as long as she has this man as her gatekeeper, running patients off! I will continue to complain until someone listens. There is a clear pattern here and I hope Sophie and her colleagues are reading these reviews!

The doctor's are great. I have had 2 of them over the 10 years I was using this office's services.
The issue I had with this place is the person in the front office who answers the phone and is at the window to hand you paperwork.
Every time I have spoken to her, she has been very rude to me.
There have been a few times, that I have called asking questions and she told me that I should already know the answer to it. I have also asked her to email me details of my appointment or to email me if there was an issue with my upcoming appointment. She told me that their system doesnt allow them to email patients and that she tried calling me and left a voicemail. Well with all the robo calls that everyone receives these days, I dont pay enough attention to the 15 calls I receive a day from unknown numbers, but I do pay attention to my emails.
So on several occasions I have driven to the office in a wasted trip. When I asked her for the details, she simply replied... Ive already told you in a voicemail.. in a condescending tone..
These may sound like trivial annoyances, but when you already have so much on your plate in your day to day life.. and when you have a burden such as driving every month to a mental health facility.. you would hope that your doctors office could at least make your day a little easier.
I finally just gave up going to this place, which is a shame b/c I really liked both doctors that have supported me over the past decade.

I have seen two providers at this location and both have been fantastic. The office staff is caring and the nurse practitioners are wonderful. They are collaborative, knowledgeable, listen well and answer all of my questions. I had been to 3 psychiatrists previously with questionable care and will stay with Matt Vickers long term. I highly recommend him and this practice.

I first started going here in 2013, this place was great. Twana McVicker was amazing! I switched due to insurance for a few years nd came back in 2019. Everything has been mostly okay up until just very recently.
I have ADHD... I literally forget things all the time and my appts, although calendared, are no exception to this. Before, as of January 2022, I would get a call my Sophie if I was late, I'd always answer nd we'd have our appt. As of April 2022, I guess they quit doing this and will not reschedule your appt until you pay their $60 fee. It's absolutely outrageous. As 1, I never got any updates that they'd ceased giving out courtesy calls... 2, the chick Liz who answers the phone is a problem. Idk where she came from but she should go back where she came from after reading all the most recent reviews on here. As for me, I've paid my last $60 nd reschedule my last appt here. I chose the facility to help with Mt mental health, not exacerbate them nd punish me by charging me bc I missed an appt and forcing me to go without meds I've been on for 10 yrs plus now. Zero stars if I could.
