As you go in on the east side door, stay to your left behind the coffee stand.

Good low prices, lots of choices, variety of selections, and one stop shopping takes care of everything. I recommned this market compared to other asian market, since this market has so many sales going on.
This place is affordable. So far my best experience with fresh produce has been Friday mornings. Not the prettiest or friendliest place haha but it’s for old school Koreans that just want decent vegetables within DB and it’s surrounding areas.
Good korean grocery but too old.
We missed Beak Restaurant which closed during the pandemic. The restaurant introduced us to the market. It carries a good variety of Asian food but mainly Korean. Some makeovers will be sure to make merchandise more appealing.

Market world is off the 60 Lemon, kinda near the 60E and 57 meets. I thought it was a Chinese market, I was in need of wonton noodles so I decided to give this place a try. It’s actually a Korean market geared towards Asians; I say this because I did find wonton noodles but not near the noodle section at all it was closer to the tofu section. Prices are reasonable ton of ramen, noodles, rice, 3 restaurants, a bakery and 2 smaller stores that sell ready to eat foods such as; Kimchi, Kimbap, Bibimbap, scallion pancake, anchovy’s, fried fish and banchan – Korean small side dishes! It’s convenient, they are missing 1.5 stars because the meat section lacked quantity and quality.

I purchased the tofu stew kit here when they had the lady actually cook the tofu soup and had us taste it. I left the package in the fridge for a week and opened the package today to make it and the broth had chunks of mold.
Expiration date is 9 days away.
I called explaining the situation and the lady over the phone was extremely rude. Not even a word of apology but instead raising her voice at me saying theres nothing they could do without a receipt. I asked her if she remembers having her employee at the stand to give out samples of the tofu. She yes a week ago. I said there you go I bought it a week ago. She sighed and passed the phone over to someone else.
It seems they expect us to open the packages immediately and inspect it for molds before tossing the receipt away.
Very BAD customer service. What makes me mad is their attitude towards this. I dont want the $5 back, I wanted them to be aware of the products they were selling. But with their lame attitude they just lost a customer.
