Staff seems like family, and are friendly to customers. They are usually helpful if you need to locate a grocery item.
They have security on site during open hours, and they're observant of the store environment, yet nice.
Starbucks staff is super, and make great coffee! Love how they decorate their space!
Although there are homeless people in front at times, they don't bother you specifically. Except some mothers sit outside with their babies, not the safest situation...
Overall, prefer to go out of my way to shop here, instead of Raley's... Just because they are kind.

This review is a shout out to Z. I’ve always had a good experience at this Safeway, but Z makes it a little more fun and engaging. So many times I’ve been in line and barely gotten any acknowledgment from the cashier’s. I get it. Z is a jewel, enjoy her while you can, she’s headed for greatness!!!

This Safeway seems neglected. Customer service is lacking, they appear to never be properly staffed during the busy hours, shelves are unorganized and the frozen sections usually have a thick layer of ice on most of the items implying they've all defrosted and re-froze.
I've currently been sitting at 1 of their 2 "Drove Up & Go" spots waiting on my online order for almost 30 minutes. No one inside could assist and no one answers the number it says to call upon arrival.
Heavily considering switching to another grocery store.

Apparently some dumb worker here doesn't want to share the code to the bathroom so I'll give it to you instead it's 03090....you know you come here and buy overpriced eggs and lettuce but can't pee while you're doing it. I'll make sure you can access the restroom, again it's 03090. Pretty sure she just couldn't remember 5 number code so she made some dumb excuse that the bathroom was closed when it wasn't.
***upate: next trip to safeway, we get to the register to find that there is no cashier, and it's self checkout only....$300 bucks worth of groceries left in the cart and we walked out. You want premium prices and can't even provide a cashier. How do you expect people to cash out hundreds of dollars worth of items at a self checkout??? This is the worst run grocery store. All the employees are rude and lazy.

I've had personally a horrible experience with Customer Service - multiple times and no one calls me back at this Safeway in the past 3-6 months of current staff they have. They do not ever get back to you or call you back.
I had a gift card damaged when I brought it in, they wanted my ID and information and took it in the back of their store. I called in at the number for the gift card, and asked if there was a report case and they said no, your store never called in for the damaged card or mentioned it in the past week.
I also know one of the managers was having sex with one of my friends who worked here, and the guy was married. I hope your wife is happy about that.
It's pretty crooked as a business here, but I am not going to try to embarrass this store more than what it is and go too much into depth.
Your store needs better communication, better higher staff and practices onto how to establish your business. I wanted to work here, but truthfully I don't think the people you hire already is the problem.. no call backs ever and the managers you have had are kind of messed up.

Popped in to grab a fresh sandwich in the deli. Erica was behind the counter making a breakfast sandwich for another customer. It was so beautiful that I almost changed my mind.
One can tell that she takes pride in her craftsmanship and customer service. I asked for onions and she noticed the ones in the tray were old and wilted. She took the time to cut fresh ones. I wish I would have taken a picture because it was by far better than the advertised sandwiches. My mouth was watering as she wrapped it.
She asked if I wanted it cut in half where other deli clerks don’t so I was much appreciative.
The sandwich tasted fresh and the crunch of the sour dough was perfect. I’m so thankful for the detail Erica took because the fresh red onions made a huge difference and the crunch of the cucumbers were delicious. I would have been super disappointed with the whimsy wilted ones. Lol

Nice grocery store! Clean & better organized. They have nice staff working there that are proficient & not have you wait a long time in lines! Improved service from last year! Their deli dept has improved with more staff to accommodate customers!
